In the jungles of the Everfree Forest, a guerrilla movement sets traps and plans surprise attacks to combat the Changeling invasion. A member of this "Poniet Cung", Thunder Rumble, faces down the difficulties of a war where you can never be sure who you are killing unless you do it yourself. All who are not aware of the traps the guerrillas set in the forest are prone to them and their deadly effects, leaving some to get caught in the crossfire. How can a pegasus who worked as a weather forecaster learn to fight an invading enemy while still trying to love and release the dark demons of his past? Based on the story arc in the finale of Season 5 where the Changelings are not stopped, with a slight twist of the Vietnam War.
