//-------------------------------------------------------// Same, But Different. -by MrBrony0w0- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Buddery visits Twilight and Spike //-------------------------------------------------------// Buddery visits Twilight and Spike "Uuuggh! I'm so bored!" groaned Buddery as he plopped on his bed. Buddery was a yellow colored colt, about 15 years old. His mane was brown with a streak of yellow through it. So was his tale. It was styled as if he implanted some curved spikes in his hairs. Buddery heard his mother call him from downstairs. "Buddery! Lunch is ready!" "Coming!" he answered. Buddery trotted down the steps of his home. When he got to his kitchen, he saw his mother, Vanilla Gleam, setting a plate of pancakes, bacon, and eggs in front of him. "Thank you, mother," he said, as he gobbled his breakfast in a few bites, "can I go to Spike and Twilight's house now?" "Sure, sweetie. Have a good time! Be back by 8:00!" she called after him as he walked down the dirt road. He saw Pinkie Pie carrying a couple boxes. "Hi Pinkie! What's in those boxes?" he asked as he pointed to the boxes. "Hey, Buddery! Just ingredients for the Cake's newest cake!" she bounced happily. "Cool! See ya later!" he waved goodbye as they parted. Next, he met up with Rainbow Dash. "Hi Rainbow Da-" he was interrupted when she tackled him. He rubbed his head. "Sorry, Buddery! I was trying a new awesome move!" apologized Rainbow Dash. "It's fine. What was it?" he asked curiously. "It was called the Rainbow Slam! I nailed the slam part, but I also had to do a Sonic Rainboom," she explained. "Well, that's neat. See ya!" he said as Rainbow flew away. "Oh, hi, Fluttershy!" he called out as he had seen the shy mare. "Oh! Hello, Buddery. I was just heading to Rarity's. She needed some help with some spring fashion designs..." said Fluttershy. "Wow. Well, I'm heading to Twilight's house to play some games with Spike." responded Buddery. "Well, bye, Buddery," mumbled Fluttershy. "Bye!" he ran off. Finally, he saw Applejack carrying apple sacks to the market. "Applejack!" yelled Buddery. She looked at him and waved, coming over to him. "Why, hey there, sugarcube! How ya doin?" asked Applejack. "I'm fine! Just heading over to hang out with Spike!" he replied. "Well ain't that just dandy. Ah gotta go take care of some chores now," said Applejack as they parted. Buddery finally made it to Twilight's house, where she opened the door. "Oh! Hey there, Buddery! Spike's in his room playing some game. I don't know which one though. He thinks I'm too nerdy." said Twilight. "Oh cool! Thanks!" he said as he went to Spike's room, where he heard a bed rocking. "Is that?" he thought as he opened the door. He was sshocked at what he saw. Spike was in his robe, jumping on his bed, singing some weird girly pop song. Buddery rolled all over the floor laughing, while Spike blushed. "TWILIGHT!" he whined. "Oh my Celestia! That was hysterical!" yelled Buddery, still on the floor with tears. "Whatever," muttered Spike as he changed into casual clothes. When Buddery recovered, they were finally able to play video games. Until Twilight calls down Buddery for an urgent mission. //-------------------------------------------------------// Twilight's Mission for Buddery //-------------------------------------------------------// Twilight's Mission for Buddery "What is it, Twilight?" asked Buddery when he trotted downstairs. "I need you to go gather up the other girls so that I could tell all of you,"  she responded. "What!?!,I could've brought them over when I ran into them! Oh, but they had things to do,"  said Buddery. "What?!? Ugh, I needed to ask them if they could do a little report on the other world," sighed Twilight. "Other world? Uh, I could go?" asked Buddery. "No. You wouldn't know how to move your legs and arms!" exclaimed Twilight. "Legs and arms?" said Buddery, confused. "Nevermind. Go play! Be a kid!" she told him. Buddery groaned and obeyed the purple allicorn. He hated being considered a little kid. Though he loved hanging out with Twilight and the girls, and Spike, he hated that they thought he couldn't handle things like this. Well, he'll show them! He's going to do something big. While Buddery was lost in thought, he slipped on a book near the edge. What made it worse was how high up Twilight's stairs are! Buddery yelled as he fell. "BUDDERY!" screamed Twilight. It was too late. Buddery had already hit the floor. He lay on his side, blood dribbling out his mouth. Twilight immediately called an ambulance. Spike heard the commotion and came out, only to see his best friend in a stretcher. "Buddery!" yelled the dragon, "You'll be okay! Trust them! Trust ME!" Buddery couldn't move. Twilight notified Buddery's parents, and the girls. Soon, he was laying in a hospital bed while his right wing was broken, his rear right hoof, and his jaw was pretty sore. And bloody. The girls and his parents waited in the lobby. "This was all my fault! If my llibrary wasn't such a mess, he would be playing games with Spike right now!" Twilight sobbed. She hated seeing her friend in such a condition. About half an hour later, Buddery Shine came out with a cast on his hoof, a bandage on his wing, and a cleaned mouth. "Buddery!" exclaimed his mother,"Are you alright, dear! Oh Celestia!" Buddery was taken home and the girls and Spike came to help him. He didn't ask for much though, because he didn't want them to think of him as small AND needy. And his jaw hurted everytime he moved it. So he mostly watched the cartoons on his television. The girls had a chat in the kitchen. "Twi, don't beat yourself up! It was an accident on both sides of the story," Applejack consoled her. "Yeah! And seeing you frown makes me down!" exclaimed Pinkie Pie. "But what if he takes a long time to recover!" Twilight yelled. "Yeah! Than I can't play games with him!" said Spike. He sadder than anyone except his parents about this! "Darling, you must not worry! The doctor said he should be back in a few days!" said Rarity. "Ugh! Can I go talk to Buddery? I wanna check up on him," asked Rainbow Dash. "Sure," said his mother, who was cooking lunch. She flew to his room, and knocked. "Come in! Ow..." groaned Buddery. Rainbow Dash walked in and sat next to him on his bed. "How ya doing?" asked the blue pegasus, as she touched his wing. He gave a small yelp, and she backed up. "Sorry!" she apologized. "It's okay. You can go if you want." he told her. "See ya, dude," she said as she pecked his cheek like the girls always did. He sat there, slowly recovering. Waiting. Waiting. Recovering.
