After the events of Gauntlet of fire: The newly appointed Dragon Lord Ember has come to the decision that Spike deserves a reward for all his hard work and selfless acts during the competition. Using her scepter, she uses it to call out to him in the middle of the night. The little dragon, who thinks the call is for something urgent, hurriedly rushes over to Twilight to get her to teleport him over to the Dragon Lands. However he finds out that this was a booty call instead.

Which is something he's not complaining about in the least.
