“Alright everypony, we are going to be visited by Dragon Lord Ember in a few hours and I want this to go perfectly.” Twilight really wanted Ember to feel welcome on her first visit to Ponyville. She learned enough about that venture to not bother tying to emulate their culture but instead let them feel welcome in the pony way, but still it left her on edge. She scrolled down her checklist that Spike held up for her and went over the itinerary.
“Do we have enough paper bags for Fluttershy to maintain her composure while Ember is here?”
“Ah don’t know, considerin she’s already done used up five of them and this Dragon whosits hasn’t even shown up yet. Ah’d say we’re a bit underprepared in that respect.”
Twilight peered over to see the poor pegasus rocking back and forth, hyperventilating into yet another paper bag at the prospect of a dragon showing up. The princess offered her a comforting smile. Fluttershy noticed this and jolted in her seat.
“I’M FINE!” She squeaked, “I’m sure she’s a….a really nice dragon...I’m not even running away… that’s a baby step right?” Her whole body was quaking as she said this, and her quivering smile wasn’t fooling anyone. Still Twilight thought this would be a good experience for her. Dragons were indeed intimidating, she had her own run in with Garble and she had her whole mind lock up in fight or flight responses because of it. Perhaps it was the primitive side of her that was reacting to a predator species. She’d have to work on that if she wanted to extend a hoof of friendship to the various carnivorous species on the planet.
“Lets see… Rarity, how are we on Gems? I want her to have plenty too eat?”
“Darling please, you are talking to Rarity. Between my talent and my adorable little taste tester here, we were able to collect the finest gemstones in all of Equestria.” She ruffled Spikes head as she said this. Spike gave Twilight a thumbs up before getting his claws back on her checklist.

“I noticed Dear, You even saved your usual prize for the pile.” Rarity said with a slightly sulky tone to her voice.

Twilight hadn’t kept it secret among the girls that Spike had been called over to her kingdom about a week ago, and no matter how hard she tried to ask him, Spike would not tell her what happened. She wasn’t particularly complaining, but she and the other girls had the sense that something happened that was a little more than they would care to admit.

Well, most of them anyway.

Rarity didn’t quite know what to make of the news. The door to the throne room slammed open and Pinkie rolled in with a multi layered gemstone cake on her trolly, followed by a frazzled looking Starlight Glimmer whom looked like she had taken a few dips into the batter herself.
“We’re HERE!” The party pony sang out, materializing two party canons out of from behind her and firing them off into opposite ends of the room in celebration. Starlight stared at Pinkie’s back in utter confusion and brought her bewildered gaze to Twilight, who merely mouthed the words “don’t ask’
“Great job you two, you both should probably hit the showers though so your clean by the time she gets here, I want us to be looking our very best.”
“Yes Twilight.” Starlight said with a nervous smile before Pinkie wrapped her foreleg around the icing covered mare and stretched out her eyes so they were a mere millimeter away from Starlight's own.

“How….how did you find my r...room anyway…” he struggled to sound suave and cool, but his voice was cracking and squeaking all over the place as she got closer and stooped down to his level.
“The Scepter lets me know where every dragon is. Its useful like that.” She had said that just an inch away from his face. He gulped again, biting his lip and gesturing at the door.
“The...uh….girls are all in the other room… it’s kind of a full house… ya know...so weMMGGFFH…” He moaned as she took his mouth for her own, wrapping her claw around his head and pressing herself deep into him.
