Chapter 1: Mystery Flower
Celestia and Luna were playing in a field, the breeze pushing around their short manes. "Hee hee! Tia! look at this pretty flower!!" Celestia walked over to Luna. "that is a pretty flower, LuLu." Luna jumped around and flapped her little blue wings. "Hahahaha, Tia come on let's fly!" Celestia flew up and grabbed Luna. "Luna you have to be careful, it's windy here and your still not a very good flyer."
Luna pouted. "okay..." she put Luna down. "Oh, girls." Celestia and Luna looked behind them. "Mama!" Luna cried. "Hello, Mother." it was Fausticorn. she was holding a red foal. "Mama what's that?" Luna looked at her confused.
"This is a foal. she is a rare kind of unicorn that can grow to be as tall as Alicorns, but her magic will not be as strong as an Alicorn's". Celestia walked over. "Mother, why do you have such a foal in your hooves?" Fausticorn smiled. " i wanted you girls to look after her...before i leave." Luna was shocked. "Mama where are you going?!" Fausticorn frowned. "i...can't tell you because of the way you two are right now. but i do promise when you both have matured i will come back and tell you. Celestia since you are the oldest you will be in charge of the kingdom and this foal. Luna since you don't have a cutie mark yet, you can't help your sister."
"it's okay Mama, i'd rather play anyways!" Fausticorn smiled. "one day you'll think differently Luna..." Luna smiled. Fausticorn gave Celestia the foal. "i want you to teach this pony, she can be your first student. you can name her Celestia." Celestia held the foal in her hooves. "i'm not sure that i should be the one naming her....where did you find her.....?" "Celestia, as i said i cannot tell you yet." Celestia frowned. "alright......so this foal is mysterious.....she was given to me in a big flowery field..... i'll call her Mystery Flower." Luna looked at Celestia. "Mystery Flower...?" Fausticorn smiled at her girls, her horn started to glow. "that's a wonderful name Celestia, goodbye. Celestia, Luna. behave." she disappeared. Luna frowned. "Tia were are all alone..."
"Let's go Luna." Celestia started walking. "where are we going, Tia?" Celestia smiled. "why home of course!" they made their way to the castle of the two sisters, where they will rule together. they went into an empty room. "Luna this can be the foal's room....but she need's a bed...." Luna jumped up. "ooh! ooh!! we have our old foal beds in the basement!! we can repaint it and give it to her!! she can have our old toys too!!" Celestia laughed. "that's very kind of you Luna! but let's put her in my bed while we prepare her's!" Celestia and Luna went to the basement and grabbed an old foal bed. "Luna do you think your magic can repaint it?" Luna smiled. "what color?!"
"Red, now let's see." Luna's little horn started glowing blue. "Ok Luna you can do this.....red....red..." she said to her self. the room flashed white. Luna opened her eyes. then gasped. "it's red! it's red! i did it Tia! i did it!!" Celestia giggled she was proud her littler sister could do it. "great job Luna! now let's bring it up stairs." Luna tried carrying it with her magic, it was too heavy so Celestia secretly used her magic to lift it. since it was dark in the basement Luna thought she was lighting the way. when they had gotten back into the room the foal had grown to be a young filly. "Woah, that was quick!" Luna said wide eyed. Celestia walked over to the young filly. "you truly are a Mystery, Mystery..." Celestia looked over to the bed that Luna changed red. "i guess she can still use the bed, since you worked to hard to fix it." she smiled at Luna, and Luna smiled back.
The Next Day
"Tia? where is Mystery? i went by her room to check on her and she was gone..." Celestia looked up. "oh, we should look for her! you go this way, i'll go that way." Celestia looked around the throne room. "no sign of her here......" she ran through the halls. "not here either....." celestia stoped and sighed... "AHHHHH?!" that was Luna's scream. Celestia ran toward the scream. "Luna?! what's wrong?!" Luna was looking up. "s-s-she is on the ceiling?!" Celestia looked up. "what?!" the filly was standing on the ceiling. "Tia!! get her down!! your the only one here who can fly well!!!" Celestia flew up to Mystery. Mystery glared at her and turned the other way. "come here Mystery, please?" the Filly's magic gave out and she started to fall. "AHHH?! CATCH HER TIA!!" Celestia folded in her wings to dive in and she grabbed the filly. "Why did she look at me that way? she is so odd." Luna was relieved. "Maybe she was hungry, let's go eat." "Luna your the only one who's hung-" Celestia's stomach growled. "ok....i guess we should eat." Celestia went toward the kitchen. "hey Luna...since she's a filly shouldn't she start talking now?" Luna looked at Celestia. "I DON'T KNOW!! I'M HUNGRY!!!" Celestia rolled her eyes and gave Luna her breakfast. "Fine....."
"Mystery go play now." Celestia said as she was cleaning up after breakfast. oh Luna can you stay a minute." Luna walked to Celestia. "What is it Sister?" Celestia looked Luna in the eyes. "that filly.....is very odd i find her glaring at me at times....she doesn't even speak. where did mother find her?" Luna rolled her eyes. "You should start teaching her then, and mom won't tell us anything while we are still filly's.....i don't even have a cutie mark yet......" Celestia smiled. "it's okay, we can practice rising the moon tonight Luna. now go look after Mystery." she pushed Luna. "Okay,Okay. i'll go find her." Celestia went to the library that is in the castle. "Hmmm....Rare Unicorn....Rare unicorns........Hybrid Pony's? A unicorn with the power of an Alicorn but the body of a unicorn.......Pegasi with wings as strong as Alicorns but have a body of a normal Pegasus.....maybe she's a hybrid....." Celestia looked around the shelves. she saw a dark looking book. "Black magic, this page is book marked....... a spell to make a powerful unicorn........" she flipped to the next page. "how to achieve great power with this easy spell....." Celestia took the book and wrapped it with a cloth. "this is a dangerous book....did mother use this....? i should hide this.."
"it's getting late i have to teach Luna how to raise the moon...Luna! Luna!" Celestia looked to her side and behind her. "Is she outside?" she heard the sound of running. "Oh Luna your......Mystery? Where's Luna?" Mystery stared. "She is glowing." Celestia was shocked. "she can talk?!" she thought to her self. "she must be get more intelligent." Mystery's horn glowed then it stopped. "Take me to Luna!" Celestia followed the filly. they made their way to the field that Luna loved to play in. Luna's eyes were white and she was glowing and floating. "What happed?!" Mystery looked to Celestia. "she wanted to raise the moon on her own..." Mystery's horn glowed again then stopped. Celestia turned toward Luna. "You can do it!" Luna was slowly raising the moon. "ngh......Raise now moon!" the moon was in the sky and Luna let out a burst of magic and floated to the ground. "Luna?! are you okay......your cutie mark...." Luna opened her eyes. "Huh.....my cutie....mark?" she looked at her flank. "A moon in the night sky! My cutie mark!!" Mystery started at the mark. "Cutie...mark? what's that?" "a cutie mark is a symbol of you finding your true talent." Celestia explained. "True talent....." Mystery's horn glowed. "could i get one?" Celestia smiled. "one day you will."

Chapter 2: Cave of Discord
A few moons later
A red filly followed a pink mare alicorn. "okay so today we will turn a teleportation spell.here review this page and tell me when you want to try it." the red filly's horn glowed. "i'm ready Teacher.." Celestia smiled. "Okay let's see it." the red filly's horn glowed. "i will teleport to that side of the room." her body was swallowed by a red light. she was on the other side of the room as she said she would be. "that was too easy, can i do something else now?" Celestia stared in awe. "maybe mother did use that dark magic book to make mystery......" she thought. "okay this time let's learn how to levitate an object! Luna you can go first, show her how it's done!" Luna smiled and flapped her little wings. "okay i'll levitate this chair!" Luna struggled but she managed to lift it. "See!" Celestia laughed. "great job Luna!" Mystery frowned. "i can lift the desk and the chair!" she lifted the desk and chair without breaking a sweat. "Luna was surprised. "woah...she made it look so easy....." "See! i told you!" Mystery pouted. "Good job! can you help me with practice?" Luna asked. "huh? me...? sure..." Mystery blushed.
"I have some studying i have to do, so you girls practice together. tell me if you need me~!" Celestia galloped out of the room leaving the two filly's to practice. "Okay so how did you do those spells so easy?" Luna said with sparkles in her big round eyes. Mystery Laughed. "well first i take a second to calculate the mass of each object, then i stare at them saying 'YOU WILL MOVE NOW!' in my head! then i open my eyes and BAM! it's done...." Luna stared at the red filly. "Calculate....? i'll just skip that...." Luna attempted to lift the desk and chair. "Ngh!! YOU WILL MOVE!!" the desk and chair were floating. "*gasp*! I....i did it!!!" Luna jumped around. " Your so talented! but you still don't have a cutie mark..." Mystery laughed. "i don't want to have a cutie mark for teaching....besides i don't need one at all!" Luna frowned. "why not?" Mystery walked to the window. "Well i don't think i'll get one....i mean i could do any spell.....if doing spells was my talent i'd have a cutie mark by now right?" Luna smiled. "maybe you have to do a special spell!" mystery laughed. "Haha....maybe..." she put her hoof on the glass. " look a cave!" Luna walked over. "mother said to never go in there..." Mystery smiled. "why?! what's in there?!" Luna walked away from the window. "i don't know.....she doesn't tell me anything....i bet Celestia know..." Mystery put her hoof over Luna's mouth. "Shh! don't ask her Luna! " Luna looked Confuse. "well...why not?!" Mystery rolled her eyes and pointed her hoof toward the cave. "if you mother wouldn't tell you why would Celestia tell us?! besides i'm strong enough to protect us! we can go and no one will know!"
Luna smiled. "Yeah! let's solve that Mystery, Mystery!" Mystery smiled. "Okay let's go!" they quickly let through the front door of the castle and ran to the cave. "okay Luna let me put a spell on us that will make us like air." "like air?" Mystery sighed. " no one will notice us...." "oh! heehee...." they walked into the cave it was quiet. "is anyone even here?" Luna asked. "hmm...i'm not sure.....wait ..waht's that up ahead...?" Luna squinted her eyes. "is that an....egg?" Mystery ran over to it...."yup! let's hatch it!!"
In the Castle
"Mystery, Luna....where are those little fill-! Oh no i feel like someone trespassed in the cave of Discord! it must be filly's from the town around here again!" Celestia flew through the open window, and to the Cave of Discord. "Little filly's come out here! i thought i had told you this place was off limits!!....hello?" she walked into the cave. "i can't let that egg hatch...." when she reached the middle of the cave a burst of chaotic magic flew throughout the cave. "*Gasp*! Oh no... the egg must have hatched!" "AHHH?!" Celestia heard screams. "Luna?!" she ran to the end of the cave. Mystery and Luna were on the ground. "Girls!" she ran to them. "wake up you two!" "hello alicorn." Celestia turned to the nest. "A baby Draconequus.....you should have never hatched! you two must have hatched him......i thought mother told us not to go near here.....Luna....." the baby Draconequus laughed. "I think i'll have fun with you three!" Luna woke up. "sister......?" "Luna!! i told you never to come to the Cave of Discord.......now that the egg has hated chaos and disharmony will spread throughout Equestria!!" Luna looked sad. "i'm sorry but me and Mystery were Curious, you and mom always kept secrets.... from me..." "Luna it was to protect you and Mystery." Mystery stood up. "so this is the being of chaos....nice to meet you, i'm Mystery Flower." the Draconequus smiled. "nice to meet you too, i'd say my name but i don't have one." Mystery laughed. "well...this is called the Cave of Discord why not go by that?" the Draconequus thought to himself then smiled. "perfect! i'm Discord he shook her hoof." Mystery smiled then her horn glowed and it sucked in some chaos magic from Discord.
"Well, i'll be going now!" Discord said then disappeared. Celestia frowned. "why did you two come here! the spirit of Chaos is now free! now he's going to spread Chaos all about Equestria!!" Luna frowned. "i'm Sorry Sister...me and Mystery were...." Celestia glared at Mystery. "you will not leave my sight is that clear!" Mystery waved her hoof. "fine, fine.....we are leaving now......" Celestia put a barrier around the Castle Mystery was not allowed to leave the Castle. "Hey Luna, it's been a few moons since we hatched Discord.....and i'm still trapped here......why aren't you trapped here also?" Luna laughed. "it was your idea... not mine." Mystery rolled her eyes and tapped her hoof on the ground. "Celestia isn't even teaching me either......." Luna stood up. "well we do have a library so we can learn from the books there." Mystery stood up. "Yes!! maybe i can counter the barrier!! show me to the library Luna!" Luna nodded and lead the way. "Here it is." Luna said as she opened the door. "Woah, so this is were Celestia always goes...." Mystery stared at Luna's wings. "hey,.....i just realized...your an Alicorn...but i'm just a unicorn......"
"Your magic is stronger than mine though. so i guess your special..." Mystery smiled. "I'm special..?"
