An Unexpected Visitor In Ponyville
Celestia's sun shined over Ponyville as its citizens went about their morning business. And like any ordinary morning, Twilight Sparkle: The Princess of Friendship, was waking up her assistant, Spike. "Wake up Spike! We have to meet the others for breakfast at Sugarcube Corner in an hour."
Spike groaned as he opened his eyes and sat up. Over the years, Spike had grown into a strong, powerful drake. His height had now made him about an inch taller than any of the Mane Six. He had a muscular frame with a rock hard six pack from helping Applejack on the farm. And to his relief, he had finally grown a pair of powerful wings. After learning how to use them properly, he began to develop a flight speed that rivaled even that of Rainbow Dash.
The drake rubbed his eyes as he looked to the lavender alicorn. "Go easy on me today Twilight. The date last night left a real bad impact."
After finally getting over his crush on Rarity and settling with just being friends, Spike started dating around Ponyville. However, they rarely ever went well and usually ended with Spike and the mare being friends or in a complete disaster. The last date he had was with Lightning Dust and it ended in complete disaster.
The princess looked to him with concern. "What went wrong this time?"
"What didn't! Lightning Dust kept treating all of our activities like they were competitions, she only talked about herself the whole time, she had the worst table manners I'd ever seen, and to top it all off, she started a fight with another mare in Cloudsdale! I've had some bad dates, but that one took the whole cake. I'm starting to think I'll never meet the right girl for me."
Twilight put a hand on his shoulder with a sympathetic smile. "Don't say that Spike. There's somepony out there for everypony. You just have to be patient and you'll be rewarded. Now get showered and dressed. Maybe seeing our friends will cheer you up a little."
The drake smiled as he got up. "Alright. I'll meet you at the door."
The dragon walked to the bathroom as the alicorn walked to the throne chamber when she heard a knock coming from the door. She teleported to the front door of the castle and opened the door to find someone she never expected over the years standing there. "Dragon Lord Ember?"
It was indeed the same dragoness that her, Spike, and Rarity had met two years ago. She wore a black short sleeve shirt, a pair of blue knee shorts, and some knee high aqua boots. She had a knapsack on her back with the Dragon Scepter on one of its hooks. "Hello Princess Twilight. It's a pleasure to see you again."
After getting over her shock, Twilight said, "Yeah and unexpected. I think it was two years since we last saw each other. What brings you to Ponyville?"
"Well Princess-."
"Call me Twilight."
"Twilight. After keeping the Dragon Lands organized and in check for so long, my dad thought I could use a break for a while. I have a weekend off with him taking over so I decided to come visit Spike and found out some things about where he lives."

The two turned to see the drake walk up to the visitor and pull her into a hug. Nevertheless, she smiled and returned the hug as Spike said, "It's been so long. I'm glad to see you."
Despite being a couple of years older than him, Spike was a little taller than Ember with the Dragon Lord being around the same height as Twilight.
"Same here Spike. I have some time away from duty and I thought since I haven't seen you in a long time, I'd come visit the place you entered the Gauntlet of Fire to protect."
Twilight smiled to the blue dragon and said, "Spike and I are headed to meet our friends for breakfast. Why don't you come with us?"
"Yeah. You can meet all of our other friends besides Rarity."
"Well. I am a little hungry after flying all the way here. So sure."
With that the three began their flight to Sugarcube Corner while Spike and Ember began to catch up.
A few minutes later, the three landed at the restaurant to find their friends at a nearby table with Rainbow being the first to greet them. "About time you guys showed up. And whose the new face?"
"Girls. This is Ember, the dragon we met in Dragon Lands. Ember this is Rainbow Dash."
"Sup."
"Applejack."
"Howdy."
"You already know Rarity."
"Good to see you again."
"This is Fluttershy."

"And this is Pink-."

Before Ember could say anything, the pink mare made her way to the kitchen.
Ember looked to Spike and Twilight in confusion. "Is she always like that?"
Twilight shrugged. "For as long as we've known her, yeah. Take it from me, if you value your sanity, don't try to figure her out."
The three sat at the table as Pinkie Pie came back out with a group tray of regular breakfast foods along with a couple of bowls of gems for Spike and Ember. The group dug in as Ember got to know the girls who Spike has called his friends. Pinkie Pie began saying she would prepare a 'Welcome to Ponyville' party for Ember that night but Twilight said it'd be better to wait until tomorrow since Spike would be showing her around the town today.
After about half an hour of Ember getting to know the girls, her and Spike decided to take their leave.
"Alright girls. I'm going to show Ember around so see ya later."
The two walked out of the building and the tour of Ponyville began. Spike started with showing her Sweet Apple Acrs, then the Carousal Boutique, and so on.
A couple of hours later, Ember began to feel herself sweat a little. "Man. Summer in this town is hot even by dragon standards."
Spike smiled to her as he lead her to the forest. "Follow me. I know the perfect way to cool off."
Ember followed Spike through the forest until they came across a small lake with pure, clean water. "During hot days, I usually come down here. Best way to cool off is with a good swim."
"You want us to swim?"
"Yeah. I was planning to swim after breakfast anyway so I decided to go ahead and wear my trucks. Why? Do you not have a bathing suite?"
"No I do. But there's no where to-."
Spike pointed to an area with a tall, thick bush. "You can change over there. That bush is real thick so no one will see you."
Ember reluctantly walked to the bush to change into her swim wear while Spike removed his shirt, shoes, and pants to reveal his black swim trucks. He ran to edge and did a cannonball into the water. After he rose back to the surface he let himself relax as the water cooled him off. "Is it okay? Not too cold?"
Spike turned only for his eyes to go wide until they hurt. Ember stood in a black two piece that showed off her hour glass form. Spike almost felt his nose bleed before he shook off his shock. "Yeah it's perfect. Come on in."
The dragoness hesitated for a moment before running forward and jumping in. She came back up to the surface to see Spike smiling. "Not bad right?"

"Then you won't mind me cooling you off more by dong this!" Spike the pushed hard and splashed Ember playfully. As the drake began laughing, the dragoness smirked at him.
"You want a war. You got it." She then splashed him back and the two began to have a friendly splash fight. Spike was glad to see his only friend from the Dragon Lands enjoying herself after not seeing her for so long.
Sometime later, the two grew tired of splashing and decided to sit on the bank with their legs still in the water. The sun began to set as Spike broke the silence, "It's really great to see you again after so long Ember. And during a time that isn't the Gauntlet of Fire."
Ember smiled to the drake as she looked to the water. "I'm glad to see you too Spike. You know, you played a big role in how I decided to lead the Dragon Lands."
"What do you mean?"
"After showing me what it was like to have a friend two years ago, I began to think that showing companionship to my fellow subjects would be the best way to lead. While there are some who refused to try my way of leading in favor of traditional dragon ways, most of them, my dad included, actually gave it a chance and now there are many dragons who have began being helpful to one another. It's because of you that the Dragon Lands are now much more peaceful than ever before."
"I only helped point you in the right direction. I knew you'd be the right dragon to lead the others into a more friendly position. You showed that when you protected my friends from Garble."
Just as Ember was about to respond to Spike's claim, they heard a screech and looked toward the forest.
Suddenly, a small family of phoenixes flew out of the woods and right past the two as Spike asked, "What's with them?"
The two then saw a group of dragons come from the woods. Spike and Ember recognized them as Puff, Clomp, Vex, Fume, and a dragon the two knew all too well and despised all too much.
"Garble! What are you guys doing here?"
The red dragon smirked and chuckled at the two. "Just having a little fun chasing phoenixes. But now that you two are here, I think it's time me and the boys have some real fun. Boys!"
The other four dragons split into groups of two with Clomp and Fume holding Spike against a boulder while Puff and Vex held Ember down on the ground on her back. Even though Ember was strong, even she couldn't handle two dragons at once. Garble chuckled as he watched the two struggle to get free.
Spike glared at the red dragon. "What's this about? We haven't done anything to you?"
"Of course you did. You started the problem when you told Ember here all of your pony loving and friendship bullshit and made her forget what the traditional ways of dragon living really are."
He then glared at the blue dragoness. "And you made the problem worse when you started spreading those bullshit changes all across the Dragon Lands. Dragons are creatures that don't make friends. We're creatures that only focus on ourselves and never care about other creatures. So after I have my fun here, I'm taking the Dragon Scepter and bringing back the traditions of dragons."
Ember glared at Garble. "You'll get that scepter when-. Wait! What do you mean after your fun here?"
Garble smirked as looked to Puff and Vex. "Hold her down tight guys."
Vex said, "Garble? I thought you said we weren't going that far. Do you know what will happen if her father-?"
"Are you talking back to me! Do as I say or you'll be missing a lot of fangs in the next few seconds!"
Before they did as the were told, Spike noticed a look of hesitation and worry in Puff and Vex's eyes while also seeing the same with Clomp and Fume.
Garble reached Ember as she looked in worry. "What are you going to do?"
The dragon smirked as he reached for her bikini bottom as he held her head down against the ground. "I'm going to show you how wrong you were to change our traditions."
Spike watched in horror as Garble began to pull Ember's bikini bottom down to her knees and something in him snapped. He felt anger beginning to swell up inside of him.

Garble turned back to Spike only to find him fly straight at him, grab him by the neck, pull him off of Ember, and slam him into the ground. Before Garble could react, Spike punched his face repeatedly before he lifted the red drake over his head and chucked him through a near-by boulder. Spike walked toward him as Garble got to his feet and threw a punch.
To his surprise, not only did Spike catch the punch, but he also began to crush Garble's hand. He then grabbed Garble by the head and slammed him face first into the ground. Spike then grabbed him by the tail, flew toward the trees, and began spinning while slamming Garble through multiple trees. The red dragon was then thrown to the ground and let out a burst of flame right at Spike.
To his horror, when the flame stopped, there were only a few scratches on Spike's scales.
"My turn!" Spike shot a blast of flames of his own that gave Garble a few permanent scorch wounds.
Clomp, Puff, Vex, and Fume watched in fear as Garble was savagely attacked by the dragon they always thought could never hurt a fly.

He slowly opened his eyes to find the ground about an inch away from his face was scorched to melting temperature. He looked up to see Spike still glaring at him.
"That would be the easy way out for you Garble. You'll live with the guilt of your actions, the fear of what will happen if you try this again, and fear of what Torch will do to you when he finds out about this."
Before Garble could say anything else, he was out cold from Spike punching him.
Spike stood up and turned to the four cowering dragons who were still standing beside the lake. "You four! Come here!"
The four did as told without hesitation. "I could tell from the looks in your eyes that you didn't agree with Garble's actions but were too intimidated to speak against him. So here's the deal. You guys are going to take him back to the Dragon Lands and hand him over to the guards. Then you'll tell them and Torch about what he tried to do to Ember since he's in charge while she's gone. And in return, I'll convince Ember to not tell Torch that you were involved with this. And if I find out that you never brought him to Torch, I'll give you pain that'll make what I gave Garble there look like a light pinch. Got it!"
The four nodded before Clump threw Garble on his shoulder and the four took off.
When they were out of his site, Spike looked to see Ember was still out cold. He gathered his clothes and her stuff, picked her up bridal style, and took flight.
A couple hours later...
Ember began to stir as she regained consciousness. She woke up to find she was in an unfamiliar bed still in her bikini and in an unknown room. 'What happened? And where am I?'
"Oh. You're awake."

"Don't you want some help cleaning the kitchen?"
"I'll be fine. I've been cleaning on my own plenty of times. After the day you've had, you need some rest."
"Alright. Then I guess I'll see you tomorrow."
As Ember made her way upstairs, Spike gathered their drinking glasses and the tray the pizza was on and headed to the kitchen to clean up.
A little while later, Spike had just finished cleaning and was heading to his room for some sleep when he heard a screaming.
