Load Full StoryNext ChapterPandemonium raged. The land quacked. The world was being torn asunder.
The first Angels of the light to merge with the Demons of the dark 1000 years ago, had gone to ruin. Now the elemental worlds had followed suit.
"Neox. Old comrade, the living burial was never meant to be, use to be us on a non-reviver types. Are you sure you want to go through this?" A rotten unicorn winnied.
While standing outside a mess of hastily scribbled runes, five colored pots filled with glowing crystals, raw untouched crystals. The power for all thing dead or alive, flesh or mecha. It had taken months of hording to collect and ever so much self control. Now they had enough mana for one cast and only one cast.
"Nagg I know you're scared. Doom world! I'm scared, but with our world going to the grave, if we don't, who will?" Neox the young spell fiend asked. "Now when your ready Nagg . . . Cast!"
Nothing happened. No glow,no flash, no spark of magic. Neox started to move around the runes, when all of a sudden the sealed circle burst to life. Five stains of color swirled in to a murky brown, before a blinding white engulfed Neox vision. A deafening silence, his body was being ripped and despun apart, and the pain, it felt like lightning boosted flame grinder while slowly succumbing severe frostbite, plus ten spider-folk venom cocktails pumped strait to the heart, and the worse case of plant oil itch and no way to scratch it.
The world lasted in that state: Seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, years, decades, centuries, eons? Spell time was never Neox forte. All he knew was no matter what a spell, 'without an infinite mana, a spell cannot be indefinite.' That was a rule, a rule for crying out loud!
After what could have been an eternity, Neox had long lost caring. Neox felt gravity, he was falling.Negative trinity i'm falling! Must survive!, must survive! Why oh why did I skip the aerial dive classes?! Well if i'm going to go down . . . "Dark Meteor!"
The barren ground was incinerated to glass, the last thing Neox could cast with the last of his power, before passing into the grips of unconsciousness . . . . was a darkness blood powered beacon.
