Chapters Scavenger Among The Rocks
Jason Hill, was not having the best of days. Sure, he had his fair share of shitty days, most of which were on Mondays and Tuesdays, and involved plenty of muties. But he's also had his fair share of good days, the sun blocked out by a perpetual dark cloud cover of poisonous, being chased by mutated giraffes and squirrals who had it out for him, almost getting killed by bandits and raider gangs, or just tripping and falling into a crater filled with enough radiation to give a nuclear physicist a boner that would rival that of a lion.
Now, Jason, he was a very talented human, very talented for his unique skillset. The human bared many titles in his line of work, Looter, Scavenger, Thief, Treasure Hunter, Thief, Asshole, That One Guy, Thief, did I mention Thief? The one he liked most, however was Scavenger, which is what he told himself he did in today's world of both Equestria and Earth. He frequented going between both worlds in search of supplies, food, water, weapons, ammunition, books, things like that which he knew were worth a pretty penny back in the holdouts across both worlds. He's found many things in his odd decade of looting, ransacking and pillaging desolate buildings, military bases, failed holdouts and little secret hideaways.
Today, he was paid in bullets, booze and a Snickers bar to join a US/Russian Joint supply caravan headed from Earth to one of Equestria's holdouts in Canterlot. The city itself was said to have been taken over by mutants, but a guard contingiant aided by Russian Spetsnaz, British SAS and US Marines, they managed to take it back and turn it into a well fortified location that has become the focal point of most Stalker activity in the Equestrian Wasteland, it being the main hub of which most forces are trained. Jason was to acompany the convoy of vehicles, GAZ trucks and Half Tons, jeeps and humvees as well as a few dozen soldiers to Canterlot.
Standard job, he had done many escort missions, sometimes military needed the help of civilian scavengers and looters to get through some zones because of their knowladge of the layouts, possible trap locations, hazardous places, enemy positions, things like that. Jason was happy to help, after all, he was getting a candy bar out of this deal...
Of course, that candy bar would never see the light of day.
"Contact left!" A US Marine bellowed, as every soldier fired on several Equestrian and human bandits that appeared from a hillside nearby. Marines and Spetsnaz fired on the bandits, utilizing mondernized AK-47's, M4 Carbines, PKM's, SAW's, whatever they could scrounge up from old military bases and from homes around the world. The convoy was well armed, at least that's what Jason thought, the duel fifty caliber machine guns on the jeeps and humvees fired away, each explosive round firing sounding like thunder to his ears. Orders were bellowed by commanding officers, and taunts were bellowed back by bandits as they tried to bum rush to convoy.
The bandits, from what Jason could see, were armed with various homemade weapons, and some they must have either stolen or gotten from abandoned bases around Equestria and Earth. Hunting rifles, machine guns, shotguns, he even saw a flamethrower in there firing on the GAZ truck, setting it afire. Marines and Spetsnaz were quickly killed when the fire hit the gas tank, and it exploded, sending flaming pieces of metal flying across the area and killing several. Jason cursed, they were going to all get killed.
The scavenger grabbed onto his custom AKS-74U , firing in short bursts at an Equestrian stallion who came at him with a large hammer. Four rounds struck the pony's chest and caused him to fall back with a yell of pain, hitting the ground as his hammer landed next to him. Jason wasted no time in splitting off from the convoy, they had a tank with them, however it was an old Sherman tank repurposed with a DSHK and a flamethrower, they lacked the actual rounds for the main cannon.
Moving away from the convoy, he heard a sound of an RPG being fired, and the sound of another vehicle exploding behind him. A quick look showed it was one of the humvees, the soldiers inside quickly burning to a crisp, screaming in agonizing pain as they tried to get out only to burn. The bandits continued to bumrush the convoy, not caring in the slightest many of them were getting cut down like pigs to a slaughter. The bandits of both worlds seemed to share the same mindset, if something was nearby and it was useful for getting more things, they would attack it head on and take everything not bolted down.
He had no doubt in his mind the convoy would be stripped after they were all killed, or worse.
Turning around he ran alongside the convoy, "Fucking run, there's too many of them!" He yelled, while he was mostly a one man army and didn't exactly do team missions as often, he didn't want these people getting killed. He felt somewhat responsible, however he couldn't have known an ass ton of were going to pop up out of the woods armed to the teeth.
"Negative! Canterlot needs these suppli-AHHH!" One of the few Equestrian Royal Guard tried to respond, before he got a flaming arrow in the throat, falling back with a pained gurgle as he was slowly set on fire.
Jason cursed, firing his AKS as he took cover by a BTR-70 as it fired 14.5MM rounds at the bandits, taking out several in only a few blasts. The thudding of its gun made Jason's ears ring as he saw a rather cute unicorn medic try and heal a marine. He was about to try and help her, but didn't get the chance as a round took off half her head. To his horror she remained on her knees, as if in a daze, before she finally fell, slumping over dead as the marine bled out slowly from a wound in his stomach.
"This is the Convoy 7! We're being overrun by bandits! We need bac-!" Jason heard a radio operator go silent, the loud explosion from nearby told the scavenger all he needed to know.
They were cluster fucked, and he was right in the middle of it all.
The human stood up, taking cover once again as he felt debris rain down on him from above, the entire area was turning into a war zone, and it pissed him off just how much trouble bandits are willing to go through for a few things. The funny thing is, they're wasting all of these bullets for a convoy filled with mostly books, and a few MRE's, that much Jason knew about this convoy. It was filled with various combat books and such that could easily be replaced... maybe, he didn't know much about books. He prefers to shoot things... in the face, several times.
The intensity of the battle only grew, forcing him to shoulder his AKS before running back towards the convoy. He passed by several downed soldiers, all of which were dead or dying, he did stop to pick up a bandoleer of grenades before plucking the pin off of one and throwing it at a cluster of bandits. They didn't see it coming, and once it landed, a nice fiery explosion engulfed them, ripping off limbs and sending shrapnal flying. Jason kept moving however, until he reached his ride which was sitting in the middle of the pathway, where a dead soldier was laying. A Harley Davidson WLA with a side car attached, the olive green stained with mud, dirt and rust. Thankfully it still ran, and worked like a charm with his scavenging runs.
The man jumped onto it, putting his foot onto the starter before turning the key, and kicking the clutch down. It sputteredonce, he tried again, it sputtered once more. "Come on, work!" He begged it, giving it one more kick, and the motorcycle roared to life. As soon as it did, he spun the bike around, sending dirt flying into unlucky bandits who were behind him at the time, an then sped off down the road.
Behind him the bandits fired, a few of them missing him by yards, he did feel a couple of bullets graze him, leaving a painful feeling whereever they nearly struck. He reached for his motorcycle's gun holster, pulling off the M79 grenade launcher and aiming it behind him before firing it. The recoil nearly snapped his wrist, but the pain was worth it to see the grenade impact nearby, the magically enchanced flame grenade exploding and burning the bandits chasing him in a bright blue/purple flame.
"Fuck you bitch!" He yelled, holstering his grenade launcher before flipping the bird, continug to drive down the road at highspeed.
The human passed by several trees belonging to a dead forest, mutated animals watching him drive on by, his bike somewhat loud. As he road away from the battlefield, in what one may call a... cowardly move, he thought about what had gone wrong. Jason had no idea what went wrong exactly, it was a routine mission like most he had been paid to get in on. Follow the convoy, escort them safely to their destination, get paid some more because he was a bad ass, then reap the benifits of being a hero for helping out people. But then they were attacked, by an extremely large and well equipped bandit force... for books?
He understood books were important to some degree, holding important knowledge that many craved, like a certain purple nerd princess he had met a few years back in Manehattan. She was a very strange, but ultimately entertaining individual, despite being... nerdy as all get out. But his main focus right now was not the princess, it was the bandits, why did they attack a convoy hauling books and MRE's? Sure the MRE's were saught after by some, but they weren't exactly worth killing over, as far as he knew, of course. He's read a few books every now and then, but he had read none worth killing over.
Maybe they were a bunch of... bookworm bandits? He mused with a chuckle, as he heard an engine behind him. Turning his head, he saw a pickup truck speeding towards him, with a curse he made to grab his AKS, but the truck had rammed into the butt of his bike. Jason yelled out, suddenly losing control of his bike as they approached a sharp turn, said sharp turn having a very steep hill. "Fuck." He cursed, realizing he wasn't going to be able to turn, he tried to jump off his bike, only to find his foot was stuck.
Then everything suddenly started spinning out of control, as he and the truck went off the edge, Jason yelling out as he and his bike rolled down the hill, hard. The scavenger felt several parts of his body burn as shrp rocks pierced his skin., hot lancing pain racked his body all over as he felt one of his legs burn like hellfire, the bike crushing him as it rolled down the hill. He tried to cover himself to deflect some of the pain, but it didn't work and he only kept rolling before being sent flying forward onto the ground, hitting the graval hard as the truck crashed somewhere nearby, cries and angry curses escaping whoever it was.
Jason felt like his body was on fire, he couldn't move, nothing would respond to his commands. Everything was spinning, his eyes unable to focus on even the smallest of details as his right leg had a feeling in it resembling over a thousand pins and needles. He couldn't move it, not that he tried, he figured it was broken, even in his hazy state. Gunshots rang out suddenly, and he knew those bandits must still be alive, no doubt going to be coming for him soon.
They're gonna steal my candy bar... the fucks. He groaned in pain, struggling to move his hand, to try and grab his handgun.
"Get off MY LAND YOU SHIT EATING PRICKS!" Jason heard a woman screamed, followed by the unmistakable sound of buckshot being fired, and a cry of pain as someone was hit. More gunshots sounded, shotguns primarily, he was able to tell from how loud they were and the distinct thud of the pellets being shot through the barrels. He had no idea who the woman was, but maybe she could help him out.
Maybe he'd pay her half his candy bar in return for her aid.
More shotgun blasts sounded as he faded in and out, voices talking and fading as his vision blacked out several times. He thought he could have seen faces, but he wasn't sure. His eyes were not focusing like they should, and it probably had to of with his almost dying, he was sure of it!
"Hey! Buddy, you alright?" He heard the same voice question, smacking him a few times lightly.
"He is injured, badly."
Jason had heard many voices... but that voice... was... very...
Fucking monotone, where's your emotion at for Christ's sake? He wondered, the voice was so... flat, the kind of voice you would hear someone use when they really couldn't give a bigger fuck about whatever's going on. He didn't know if he should laugh or yell... probably both.
"I can see th-!"
"His leg is br-," The monotone voice spoke, and suddenly he felt hands on his body, touching him in places... places that shouldn't be touched, like... everywhere. "He appears to ha-"
"Let's get him i-"
Anything else was drowned out, as he felt weightless once more and everything went black.

I'm sorry but... I'm seeing someone else...
Its the end times man... the end times...
Jason awoke with a pained gasp, body shoot up into a sitting position... he regretted it instantly, hissing in great amounts of pain that soon turned into a confused yelp, as he looked down at his torso, seeing bandages covering much of his upper body and abdomen, his breathing was shaky, each inhalation of fresh if somewhat dusty air a spike of pain in his lungs that sent more pain coursing through his body. His spine hurt the most, and it was not long before he laid back down, relieving the weight on his spine from having to sit up. The man could feel sweat covering his bare body head to toe... then he noticed a major factor.
It was not that he was in some stranger's room...
It was not that he was in some stranger's bed...
It was not that he was covered head to toe in injuries...
It was that he was naked...
Am I naked? I feel naked. He wondered, blinking several times.
He blinked again, a look see under the covers, and he saw his boxers still on, half confirming the assumption.
He was in fact... without his main appearal.
Jason was not sure how to feel about this, he has woken up naked several times in his lifetime, most of them involving his Ex-Girlfriends... duct tape, a hotel room on a random highway, a duck, two chickens, and a VHS tape labeled Booty. He, like always, was not sure what to make of it, only leaving and going about his day. However, in this situation, this current prediciment of his that rendered him unable to move even the slightest inch out of bed, unless he wanted to be in a world of pain.
Where am I anyway? Jason had never seen such a... bland room, okay maybe that was a lie, but this wasn't bland in the way that it was empty, it was bland in the way that it didn't have any... bright decorations, it had... rocks. Lots of rocks, sure a few of them were quite colorful, but they weren't really... appealing, then again he wasn't paying much attention, like he did with everything else in his life. Turning his gaze over the room, he saw it was mostly filled with various rocks, with a desk cluttered with books, some of which that were opened. To his right was a wooden door, one that looked old and in need of repair, it looked as if someone had gone about trying to repair it using old boards, as he could see several gaps in the wood. Several candles lit up the room, a few on wall ornaments, some on the shelves, and others near the bedside table, most of them giving on a reddish glow.
Turning to his left, he was startled as he noticed there was someone in the room... somepony? He wasn't sure how that worked exactly. The person he saw was sitting in a chair was... very not human, it was a pony, specifically an earth pony mare, with a grey coat of fur that covered her entire body, purplish hair cut just a little bit and hung above her shoulders, but only just barely. Turquoise eyes peered at him from half lidded eyes that, at first glance, didn't seem to have any... light to them. The woman donned a simple looking greyish frock, that looked like it had been ruined in a few places and sewn, and she also wore a bandoleer that had some pouches on it, with a larger one resting at her hip. One leg was crossed in front of ther other, as a Rossi Overland shotgun rested by her other side.
The two stared at one another for some time, Jason blinking as the mare just gave him a look that suggested she couldn't care. She looked like she was bored, the mare having the expression of a bored and tired individual. He had never seen her before, he's seen plenty of ponies, talked to a few but she was new. He wondered if there were anymore around the place, and if so... was he in any danger?
"Uh... hi." He greeted in a weak attempt to get some information.
"Hello." She returned his greeting, with a tone of equal sounding boredom. "You were heavily injured from your crash." The mare told him bluntly, blinking with almost mechanical precision.
Jason blinked once again, looking down at his body as he noticed his leg stinging rather painfully. "I uh... I noticed..." He muttered, looking at the woman, he could see she was rather young looking, maybe a few years younger then he was. The scavenger wasn't very old, only twenty seven years, so he figured the girl he was looking at to be around twenty four, twenty five at most. She was actually quite pretty in a plain sort of way, her hair was smooth and combed, face and body clear of any mutated parts, far as he could tell without asking her to strip naked. Deciding to ask, he cleared his throat and said, "So uh... what happened?"
"My sister and I were driving on the outskirts of our farm, when we heard gunfire coming from the ravine, and cars." The girl explained slowly, using the tone that he heard meaning she was the girl who must have checked his injuries. "When we arrived, we saw you and the truck chasing you drive off the turn and land at the bottom, my sister and I dealt with the bandits, before bringing you back to our house." She finished, adding, "You should be dead, but you're not."
"D-don't sound so excited," Jason chuckled, forcing himself to sit up and lean back against the headboard. He regretted it, once he felt his stomach twist and turn. "Ahh jeez."
"I would suggest resting, you were badly hurt in the crash." The girl told him, her bored frown still on her face.
Jason sighed. "I'll rest when I'm back home, any chance of me moving?" He asked, "if I can get back to my bike I ca-"
"You bike is totaled, I might add." She told him, when he gave her a horrified look. "Yes, your bike was almost completely destroyed down in the ravine, I am afraid you will not be able to ride it unless you get it fixed." Jason was about to ask something else, but she cut him off, saying, "You also cannot walk, your leg is broken."
Jason turned towards the blanket covering him, ripping it away, he saw his entire right leg covered in a crude looking cast among other bandages covering his body. He suddenly realized the true trouble, his bike was gone, totaled, his gear gone, without defenses, he was kinda naked, he could not in fact, walk back home. He was trapped in a strange mare's home with her sister, who were both armed with shotguns if he could recall the hazy memories from when he crashed.
"Fuck."

So first, off... I lied horribly from my description, you can blame Flammenwerfer and his story for inspiring me to write something, as well as a certain artist on Deviantart *coughcough*

Scavenger Among The Rocks
Jason laid in bed, staring up at the ceiling with wide eyes as he took slow deep breaths. It had been, maybe, a few minutes since the mare had told him his leg was broken and his prized bike was thrashed beyond riding capabilities. And also a few minutes since the other sister had come in and informed the frock wearing one the food was being made, before taking her leave. He wasn't liking his current situation in the slightest, his leg burned now that he knew it was broken, a burning sensation that went from his ankle to his hip and thigh and back again. A painful throbbing that didn't cease, and if it did it only came back full force making him wince. He's had plenty of borken bones before, and this was no new thing to him.
But he would have preferred to be in his own place, or in the hospital... or some place that wasn't here, trapped in a stranger's house with a pretty looking but probably very dangerous duo of sisters. He didn't know what the frock wearing one's problem was, or her sister's... but he could take a guess as to the more aggressive sister. She had a voice that was a strong demanding presence, she was the type that, once she started for you, there was no running or hiding. Jason knew her type, she was the kind that would hunt you down after you wronged her and skull fuck you until you couldn't breath properly, then proceed to break your legs.
Intimidating, ruthless, the bandit personality is one that she had. He didn't get a good look at her however as she was behind the door when she spoke, but he recognized her voice from before. He wondered who else was hanging around here, Jason felt like there were more people here, more then just the sisters. While he didn't doubt their killing ability and generally ruthlessness, he figured there had to be more in the house somewhere that could probably be a bit more... ruthless, maybe more ponies or humans?
He didn't know exactly.
The scavenger was more concerned with what he was going to do now, I guess just risk getting killed until my leg heals... or try to escape when this mare leaves. He sighed through his nose, picking at his fingernail as the mare next to him stared at nothing in particular. SIlence permeated the room for some time, save for the distant sound of a grandfather clock was ticking in the next room, the wall to said next room being damaged to a degree from what looked like an explosion and repaired with wooden plans and sheet metal. The windows in the room were boarded up, with only the thin trails of light peaking through like car beams, he could even see dust particles flying around through the light.
Some more time passed, maybe a few minutes before the mare next to him spoke up. "What is your name?" She asked him, turning to look at him now and pulling him out of his thought process.
"My name?" He replied with his own question, "Jason... Jason Hill..." He rose an eyebrow at her, wondering why she asked. "Yours?"
"I am Maud Pie." She answered, blinking before holding out her hand, "It is nice to meet you, Jason."
Your face says otherwise. He thought but didn't say, as he took her hand and, to his surprise, was given a rather firm handshake that had plenty of strangth behind it, which he returned with his own strong handshake. He was very surprised that she was stronger looking thenhe first thought, she didn't look like she was a bodybuilder or someone who did hard work, but a look at her arm told him otherwise. She had the look of someone who's done plenty of hard work, and has the body to show for it.
He was a bit intimidated.
"Same... same." He replied as their handshake ended, Maud seemed to have more strength to her then he first thought. She's got some muscle to her... even if it doesn't show, then again it's dark in here. He noted, as he leaned back against the headboard with a sigh. Okay, I know her name, Maud Pie, do I know that name? Pie? I feel like I've heard that before, but I'm not sure where. He racked his mind for where he may have heard the name Pie before, it sounded familiar, but he couldn't quite place it.
His thoughts were broken when Maud stood up, picking up her shotgun and proceeding out of the room, he said nothing as she lingered by the door. "I will bring you some food, so you do not have to get up." She told him, opening the door and closing it just as swiftly, leaving him alone with only his mind for company.
She's hot. His subconscious told him.
Oh shut up brain, I'll admit she's pretty, but I run solo and you know it. Jason replied, frowning as he looked around the room, more or less seeing if there was a way he could sneak out without alerting the others that may be inside the house. While he was... grateful for their aid, he didn't feel like sticking around in case they had plans for him. Maud seemed... nice he supposed, but it could have been a ruse, after all she had the voice and demeanor of someone who could care less about someone like him. SItting up, he suppressed cursing from the pain spiking in his chest. He felt like he had been cut on, and a peak under the bandages revealed he was indeed, cut in several places, some minor lacerations covering his chest and abdomen. Must be from the crash. He figured, moving the covers off of him and slowly moving his legs off the bed.
As soon as his good foot touched the floor, the door behind him opened up, and he cursed inside his head.
Busted~ The little voice in his head cackled madly,
Fuck you, fuck you dead. Jason told his inner voice, as he heard the... other sister behind him.
"The fuck are you doing?" He heard behind him, that terrifying yet... alluring voice belonging to Maud's sister. Turning his head, he saw her standing in the doorway, and she was just like her voice... commanding and intimidating. The woman was standing, maybe a little bit taller then Maud by a few inches. She was wearing a form fitting tee-shirt colored black, with a open torn sleeve jacket over it that looked like it belonged to the Equestria Military if the coat of arms on the shoulder was any indication. She also wore a pair of combat pants that hugged her legs, showing off a rather... curvaceous and well toned body, she was nothing like Maud however, for he could see she had plenty of muscle, enough to give her a striking but attractive appearence. Her coloration was a bluish gray while her mane was a lighter opalish gray color, apple green eyes stared at him, narrowed in suspicion.
She's hot too, damn~
Oh my god, go away. Jason cursed at the voice, only to agree with it. This mare was... very attractive, the kind of girl that could take care of herself, crack skulls if need be. The mare had her arms crossed over her chest, eyes narrowed with one eyebrow raised at him, he could see the strap of a shotgun around her chest with the gun hanging off her back, the strap was pushing against her shirt and her moderately sized chest which, he couldn't help but notice as it showed off her... assets .
Damn, she's a Double D, hehe, look at em!
... You're way more perverted than I thought.
Oh come on, you know you're liking it!
... Shut up. Shaking his head, Jason painfully turned around until he was able to face her, taking a few painful breaths, he answered her. "Um... what am I doing?"
The girl frowned, asking, "What are you doing trying to get outta bed! Didn't Maud tell you that your leg's fucked? You can't frigging walk you idiot!" She told him, anger in her eyes as she walked into the room.
"Look, I appreciate what you guys did bu-" He didn't get to finish as the mare came over and pushed him back onto the bed, forcing him back to laying down.
"But nothing you fucking asshole!" She yelled at him, holding his arms down as she stood over him, green eyes boring into his blue/green ones. "Me and my little sister didn't fucking risk our lives to help you, just so you could fucking get yourself killed trying to walk out the door!" The mare was pissed, aggressively so. He tried to move his arms, but found that she was very stronger, and a part of him had no doubt she could break him in half if she really wanted to.
Jason returned her glare with one of his own, trying desperately to ignore the fact her breasts were pushing into his chest. "Look, I'm grateful for what you and your sister did... but I'd rather not stay here, I-" He didn't get to finish as someone clearing their throat alerted the two that someone was at the door. Both turning their heads, they saw Maud standing there with a bowl in her grasp, looking bored as ever as she walked into the room.
She's got a nice rack too, daaaaayuuum~
... Ugh.
"Problems Limestone?" Maud questioned her sister, as she stood by the bed, setting a bowl aside on the side table near Jason. The mare had taken her shotgun somewhere, probably putting it away so seeing how she probably would not need it.
Limestone growled. "This idiot is trying to get up and leave!" She told Maud in an angry tone, still holding Jason's arms down as the man winced from how much she was pushing down.
"He probably doesn't know where he is, and wants to leave, its understandable." Maud replied, as Jason turned to her.
The human looked between them both, before looking over at Maud. "Now that you brought that up," Jason coughed, still struggling against Limestone. "Where am I exactly?"
"You're at the Pie Family Rock Farm, in Rockville." Maud answered, blinking slowly as she titled her head.
Limestone grinned slightly, saying, "Yeah, you're on my farm, human. " Limestone growled, leaning in a little closer to his face so she could glare into his eyes. "That means what I say goes , so I say you should be grateful we brought you here and that we haven't kicked you out "
Jason returned her glare once more, narrowing his eyes before saying, "I am grateful, but I'd rather not stay on this farm any longer then I have to." He told her, I'm already beginning to not like this one. Jason returned the girl's frown, and she did the same, both staring into each other's eyes with no small amount of anger. The two kept this up until Limestone eventually backed away from him, huffing as her frown became more prominant.
"I have better things to do then argue with you, I have a farm to run." With that said, Limestone left the room, slamming the door on her way out and leaving Maud with Jason, who looked equally as peeved.
"That was my sister," Maud told him, as she took a seat on the chair next to his bed, blinking her eyes.
Jason just scoffed, sniffling. "She always a bitch?" Jason asked, raising an eyebrow at Maud.
"She is not being a bitch," Maud stated, and despite her voice being as monotone as ever, Jason could feel an edge to it, like she was... cross with what he said.
Well no shit, you called her sister a bitch you dingus!
"She is just angry with you trying to leave, and possibly injuring yourself further." Maud finished, looking at Jason with her blank look.
Jason just groaned, rolling his eyes. "I've had a broken leg before, and like I said, I appr-" He didn't get to finish as Maud suddenly was near him, leaning over him and looking him in the eyes. Jason gulped as he felt her breath on his face, her blank look staring into his own somewhat intimidated face, as her chest more or less pressed against him.
He wondered if this was going ot become a running theme with these two.
"I doubt you would be able to make it far on that leg, there are no friendly places within fifty miles." She told him, making him rethink his escape plans. He didn't think he was that far away from any safe holdout, this place he was in must have been really secluded. He wasn't sure how to feel about that, as his plans went out the window, along with his health. "You would die before you managed to get onto the road."
Jason groaned, laying back and trying to ignore the mare's breasts pressed against his body. "F-fine... I'll stay... " But I won't like it. He thought to himself as Maud stood up, going back over to the chair she was sitting at and picking up the bowl she laid nearby. The bowl had lost the thin trail of steam coming from it, but Maud still handed it over to the human.
Jason eyed the bowl warily, before taking it into his hands. He sat up slightly, the smell was actually quite appealing to him, even though he wasn't sure what to make of it. The bowl was filled with green liquid, and had a spoon setting in it... but the most odd thing, was that there was a rock right square in the middle. He foudn the bowl heavy but figured the bowl was made out of something heavy, nope...
There was a fucking rock in the middle of the soup.
Rock... there's a rock... in my food... Jason was unable to ponder long, about the rock being in his soup, before Maud spoke up.
"In case you don't know, you don't eat the rock."
Jason nodded dumbly, picking up said rock and holding it, it was a simple, jagged rock. He inspected it, unsure as to its specific purpose, before setting it back into the soup with a curious glance towards Maud. "Uhh... t-thanks?" He said, and Maud nodded, before taking her leave.
However, she lingered by the door, saying, "Please, refrain from trying to leave, I'd rather not go outside to find you gutted in the middle of the road." WIth that said, she left, closing the door behind her and leaving Jason to ponder that, as well as the rock.

Why the rock?

A few minutes passed since he was given the bowl of soup stuff with the rock in it, he had, hesitantly eaten from it. He had half expected it to be poisoned, but that would make no sense, if those two wanted him dead, they could have just left him out in the quarry for mutants to get to, or just killed him on the spot. There was no sense in them taking him to their home, fixing him up and then poisoning him. So, he ate the soup, and... despite there being a rock in it, it was actually pretty damn good, a bit tangy with a sort of spice in it.
It was enjoyable actually, and a lot better then anything he had actually managed to get at holdouts and the Metro systems back home. Most of the food was mostly irradiated, too old and just made to look new, made from mutated animals, or just plain disgusting stuff people found and turned into food. Of course he still ate it, and now he was wondering what exactly went into this soup to make it taste so good.
Hopefully nothing gross.
After finishing off the soup, he had set the bowl and rock aside, puffing out a cheek in boredom as he looked around the room. He didn't see anything that escaped his earlier inspection, just some rocks sitting on some shelves, books that involved rocks, a poster or two that had faded depicting a band he didn't know.
He had a feeling it was a rock band.
Jason could only lay his head back as he wondered just what he was going to do now, the least he wanted to do was move around, but his leg still burned slightly and he didn't see anything like a crutch in sight. The room, was bland as bland could be, and actually quite boring. So he just laid back, clasping his hands together on his stomach and twiddling his thumbs together. Might as well wait. He thought to himself, sighing through his nose as he began to wait.

After some time, Limestone had come back into the room, looking as mean as ever, her narrowed gaze, tensed muscles and her whole demeanor suggested she was ready to clock him if he tried anything. He just returned her glare with one of his own, he had met her type plenty of times back home and in Equestria's own holdouts. The rowdy tough tomboy of a girl that liked to punch first, then dropkick your friend the next.
It was incredibly scary, and attractive at the same time.
` "Not trying to escape now?" She asked him, raising an eyebrow as she walked over to the side table and grabbed the bowl.
Jason scoffed softly, shaking his head and he replied, "No I'm not, your sister informed me that death is, uh... a good possibility if I try to leave." He then smiled a sweet smile towards her, "So you're pretty much stuck with me~" He then grinned a toothy smile, waggling his eyebrows at her.
To his surprise, he saw the faintest hints of red on her cheeks before she scoffed, turning away and walking out of the room, tail swishing as she walked. He was given a very unintentional view of her well toned rear, before she left the room, slamming the door behind her and leaving him alone. He wasn't given much time left to himself before she came back into the room, holding a small box in her hand about as big as a Playstation 2.
The mare walked over to him before tossing it to him, which he barely stopped from hitting him in the face. "Hey! Why're you throwing shit at me?"
"That was in your sidecar, with some other shit we managed to scrounge up." Limestone told him, crossing her arms as Jason held up the package.
He didn't see anything on it except for duct tape, he also did not see any markings on it at all, no address, nothing at all except the tape covering it all around. Jason went through his memories, trying to find any such one of this package coming into his posession. This was an unknown to him, he could not recall this ever being given to him by anyone. Where did this thing come from?
"We brought your other shit up from the crash as well, what all survived anyway." Limestone snorted, turning on her hoof and leaving the room once more. "And don't try to escape again!" She yelled, "I ain't burying your corpse on my farm." She added, leaving him alone and closing the door.
Jason wasn't paying much attention to her, only looking at the box and wondering... just where it came from.
I don't like not knowing things... He quipped in his mind, setting the package down next to the side table as his thoughts ran wild with who or what could have put that into his bike. He wasn't much of a courier, having lost plenty of packages to many threats, or bandits, or the person he was taking them were killed weeks prior. It was a good job however, and he took any job he was given...
But he didn't remember taking one, before he left earth on that escort mission...

What is this mysterious package? What will happen now that he's stuck with these two with possibly even more inside the house? Why did Limestone throw a box at his face when she could have easily just handed it to him?

Scavenger Among The Rocks
A few days had passed since Jason found himself in the Pie house, with two sisters, one with an expression of stone, and the other a ticking time bomb that was waiting for him to do something so she could beat his ass into the ground. His leg pain had gone away, but it still lingered like a tick he couldn't find, and it annoyed him to no end. But he managed to ignore it for the time being, instead studying the package he had in his lap currently.
It was a simple box, with enough duct tape covering it that it'd probably stop a knife. There was no label on it, no writing, no marker or special tag... nothing, it was just a simple looking package, or at least, that's what he's supposed to believe. He had shaken it a few times as well, but nothing rattled within, further examination showed the package was very thick, as if it were a solid box underneath the packaging, it was slightly heavy and didn't seem like anything was loose inside... which begged the question.
What the fuck is it? Jason wondered, eyes narrowed as he shook the box further, hearing nothing rattle. He just sighed, setting it aside before swinging his legs over the bed. Everything stung like a motherfucker, but that was to be expected seeing how he was in a crash not a few days ago. Losing his bike and most of his gear, he didn't even know what all survived, he just knew those two had kept it for him. Jason hoped they hadn't found his Snickers Bar...
He intended on eating that himself.
Taking a deep breath, he grabbed a nearby stick that had been left in there beforehand. It was sturdy looking, and had proven to hold up his weight when he tried it a few times, it was time he actually got around to moving. For one thing, he was sick of laying in bed all day doing nothing except waiting for the next, sure it had only been a few days but it was enough to drive him stir crazy. With a grunt, he pushed himself up onto his good leg, wincing when his broken leg nearly hit the nightstand. After a few breathes, he managed to steady himself, before hobbling over to the door.
He had no doubt in his mind he'd get his ass chewed out by... Limestone was it? He wasn't sure, but he did know that Maud was the nice one... so that left her very aggressive sister. He could only wonder how she'd react to him getting out of bed, and hobbling down the hall like a Creeper.

It seems the mean one was as pissed as he knew she'd be, the mare was standing up, glaring the most pissed off stare she could muster. And it was enough to have him shiver slightly, she had the look of someone who was equal parts disappointed and just pissed. He had barely made it down the hall before she appeared, walking out of a room before spotting him, arms crossed under her nicely sized breasts that he couldn't help but sneak a glance at. Whether or not she caught that, he wasn't sure.
"Didn't... I... just tell you to stay in bed! " She yelled at him, and he just frowned at her.
"Yeah, you did, and I told you I'm sick of staying in that bed." He told her, before hobbling down the hall and trying to walk past her.
Only for her to hold out her arm, halting his advance down the hall. "I don't give a shit! I don't want you getting injured in my fucking house! That, and I don't want to have to carry your ass back to the fucking room." She hissed, as a door opened up behind the Jason.
Jason however, did not hear it, instead glaring at Limestone. "If I injure myself, then I'll fucking crawl."
Suddenly, a new voice made itself known for Jason's ears. "Come on guys, don't fight." He heard, a soft voice that sounded kinda sad yet... trying to be peppy.
Turning his head, he spotted another mare behind him, wearing a pair of faded short shorts, a blouse that was torn in places and barely contained her large D cup breasts if it weren't for some kind of wrapping in place of a bra. The mare herself was a dull pink, with dark baby blue eyes and a straight mane and tail, that was long and pink like every other part of her. She looked tired almost, eyes dull, almost lifeless. Despite that, Jason still found her attractive.
I bet you'd like that blouse to fall off, wouldn't ya?
Bro... just... ugh. Jason gave up, he found the three mares to be extremely attractive in his eyes, despite their... attitudes. "I don't think we've met yet..." He said quietly, cautiously as the mare walked up to him. Breasts bouncing with each step she took until she was in front of him, her eyes looked into his own, as she held out her hand.
"Pinkie Pie..." She greeted, as he tentatively took her hand and she gave it a pitiful shake in return before walking off with a purpose, hips swaying gently before she disappeared into a room with a dull click of her door.
For some reason, Jason felt very sad now.
"... Well... that was depressing." Jason muttered under his breath, looking at his hand as Limestone just threw up her arms in the air, before turning and walking away from him.
"You wanna break you leg again, be my guest!" She growled at him, before venturing towards the front door and going out of it, into the hot sun. In the brief moment the door was opened, he felt heat rush in like a wave, washing over him and making him grimace. He was used to the heat of the wastelands, but that didn't mean he liked it any.
With Limestone out of his way, he took a deep breath before looking around the main room. He saw two couches sitting next to a fire place, along with an easy chair that had clearly seen plenty of use, if its worn appearance was any indication. Some pictures sat up on the walls, of the mares he had seen before, standing in front of a very tall and old stallion that looked like someone from the pilgrim age back on his own world, he also saw a rather pretty looking mare, an older one standing next to him. The parents? He pondered, as he heard hoofsteps, delacate ones that were light. When he turned his head, he spotted another mare, like the one in the photo standing next to Pinkie Pie, she was a timid looking thing, wearing a sweater and baggy sweat pants, and carried a small pistol on her belt that seemed to match her grey coat color.
She looked at Jason with wide eyes, seemingly scared of him as she wrung her hands together. And of course, Jason couldn't help but eye her figure, despite it being hidden by her baggy clothes, he saw she was rather... incredibly , adorable. Cute eyes and her long mane that hid her face, the faint blush on her cheeks and the biting of her lip.
Uh oh... heart attack... hnnnnnnnnnnnnng fuck. He cursed, clearing his throat. "Um... hello." He greeted, out of all of the sisters he met, this one seemed less... strange.
She nodded her head, not looking him in the eyes as she continued to wring her hands together.
"Ahem... kay..." Jason muttered. "I'm Jason... you are?" He questioned once more, as she just turned her head before walking away quickly and into another room. Rude. He thought, as he limped over to the couch, feeling his leg start to burn before plopping down with a heavy sigh and rubbing the bandaging covering his wound. Okay... that's the other two... but where are the parents? He wondered, as he saw Maud in the doorway.
"So you left anyway." She said in her delicious monotone voice, blinking slowly.
He rolled his eyes. "Yeah, I'm sick of staying in that room." Jason told her with no small amount of dissatisfaction. "Pardon me for getting cabin fever." The man quipped as he looked her over, and he saw she was covered in a fine sheen of sweat. Working maybe?
Maud walked into the room, and the man couldn't help but watch her movements, they were almost robotic. Hips swaying just so slightly as her hands were in her by her sides, her stony face looking right at him. Once she stopped, she said, "Just try not to fall... Limestone may not look it, but she cares to some degree."
After that, Maud left with Jason snorting, rolling his eyes again as he looked over at the door. His thoughts turned to his motorcycle, his beloved mode of transportation that has always helped him in tight situations, now gone in that ditch he fell in, probably in pieces being picked away by scavengers. That thought made him angry, and he gripped his walking stick with a fuming expression as he heard Maud walk back into the room, and upon looking he saw she had two cups in her hands, one she handed to him.
"Problem?" She questioned, as he took the cup and smelled it was some form of tea.
He grunted as she took a seat on the other side of the couch, as he held his cup. "My bike." He told her with a deep frown, rubbing his nose as he looked down at the dark steaming liquid. "Probably being picked away by scavengers... bastards." He muttered with no small amount of hate in his voice, he loved his bike like a father would love a son...
Now it was gone.
Maud hummed as she took a sip of her tea, which Jason mimicked. The distinct taste of Earl Gray hit his tongue, making shrug in acceptance. He would have preferred a different brand, but this would do for now. "I'm sorry about your bike." Maud told him, to which he just grunted again. "Perhaps when you are better, you can find a new one."
"Maybe..." He muttered back, setting his cup down and scratching his chest which had begun to itch. That was a possibility, finding a bike in his own world could be achieved if he looked hard enough. While his old bike was an old classic, he wouldn't ind a new one... but it wouldn't feel the same as his old bike, which had always helped him out in a jam. Haaaah... guess I could just buck up and get a new one... maybe a Harley or a Yamaha. He figured, sniffling as he looked through his mental list of vehicles.
Maud just sat on the couch, sipping her tea occasionally as she studied the human. He was a strange one... he was a well built human, with narrow calculating eyes that seemed to suspect every nook and cranny of her house, including her sisters and herself. She wasn't sure why he was that way, but given the humans history on their own world... it didn't take a genius to know. He's obviously been through some things... perhaps he just doesn't trust us yet.
As the human continued to be unaware of her stare, she turned away to face the wall and sipped her tea once more.
Perhaps we can help him with that...
