Chapter 1: Mtn Dew and Doritos
It was a nice day. The sun was out, and it wasn't too hot or too cold. Everyone in Ponyville had pretty much been very ecstatic today. But only because they could finally go outside for some sports or something similar. But one certain girl was very excited. And her name was Rainbow Dash.
"I am SOOO excited for my new computer!" she beamed, while squishing her face.
"So am I! I can't wait to see it!" screamed Pinkie Pie.
"Well, girls, remember that there are many responsibilities for owning a computer," said Twilight Sparkle as she pulled out a list of responsibilities to owning a computer. She began to read them out loud, but was interrupted by Rarity.
"I, for one, am excited for my new clothing line! It's going to be very pleasant," she said with a smile.
The group was walking home from a long, tiring day at school, and were relieved to finally relax. Spring Break had just started, and everyone had plans. Twilight was to have a meeting with their Principal Celestia, Applejack had many chores to do, Rarity had to finish her dresses ASAP, Pinkie was working overtime at Sugarcube Corner with the Cakes, and Fluttershy was helping at the animal shelter. Rainbow Dash was planning to sit at her desk with her computer for the rest of the day. She heard kids at Canterlot High talk about certain social media sites, and planned to sign up for all of them. Rainbow was thinking of endless possibilities of things she could do on her computer, when she was brought back to the real world when Applejack shook her shoulder.
"Ya alright, sugarcube?" she asked Rainbow.
"Uh, yeah. Just thinking about that computer." replied Rainbow.
"What does this computer look like?" asked Rarity.
Rainbow whipped out a flier that had a computer on it.
"I know style when I see it, and that is just glamorous!" said Rarity in awe.
"Thanks. I gotta run, my phone said the thing's here," said Rainbow Dash, as she hurried away from the other five.
"Bye! See ya soon! Tell me what it looks like! DON'T FORGET TO EMAIL ME!!!" yelled Pinkie Pie.
Soon enough, Rainbow was at her house, setting up the computer. Her father, Rainbow Blaze, walked in her room.
"You got the package?" he asked.
"You bet! It has a really nice design, don't ya think?" asked Rainbow Dash.
"Pretty nice, except that mouse. Pretty dull for an amazing PC. Need help?" he asked his rainbow-haired daughter.
"Nah. But can you go tell mom that I got the computer." she responded.
"Alright. Dinner is in 2 hours," said Rainbow Blaze.
Rainbow soon finished up the setup, made an account, and was online. She was on Facebook adding her friends and others from Canterlot High. While scrolling through one of the junior high student's account, Snips, and saw a weird picture. It was so colorful, and had things like Mtn Dew, a popular drink at Canterlot, and Doritos, also a school favorite. The picture also included sniper rifles, marijuana, and lots of other things. Rainbow had never seen things like this, and neither did her friends.
"What the hell is this?" she said to herself in confusion. She continued to get more and more into it, and even reposted a few photos to her own profile. By the time she was done with her binge, she learned that these were called "dank memes." She also learned about w33d, 360 no-scopes, ear rape, Pepe the Frog, Obama, Succ, and many more. When it was time for dinner, she even talked like they did in photos!
"How's your new computer, sweetie?" asked her mother, Rainbowshine.
"I r8 8/8, m8," answered Dash.
"Excuse me?" asked Blaze.
"OMG, get rekt skrub..." Dash rolled her eyes.
"God, I told you she would get like this! Talking all crazy," sighed Blaze.
"Wow," said Rainbow Dash, with a wink.
