The Blackwater Quarry

Before we begin, in this prologue I will tell you brief stories all about the Blackwater family and the current workers there, that way we can clear up some of the issues moving forward.  This story is originally a role play created by the one and only Randimaxis-who is a friend of mine- which can be found on the MLP forums' Everfree Empire OOC and Advance Role play sections.

Luther Blackwater is the patriarch and the head of the Quarry, as well as the head honcho of the Blackwater Mines.  When he was younger he found out that his father had been embezzling his company for years, and was determined to save it.  But he was beaten by his fellow miners and lived in shame until he had the funds to settle the mining business in court.  Luther won the case and did a complete do-over of the workers.  He ended up marrying his secretary after a heated debate on her money.  His cutie mark is that of a pickaxe crossed with a silver quill.

Vylia Blackwater is the wife of Luther Blackwater, the same one who had a heated debate about her money.  She started her work in the Quarry as the secretary who wanted double pay for her work.  After one heck of a heated debate about money, the two got married.  It took her FIVE months to set the records of her new family right, as it had been scammed by Luther's father.  Two necklaces, one silver and pearl, that are looped through each other is her cutie mark.

Oglevy Blackwater, the spoiled troublemaker of the family, knows that he can get away with anything.  His parents believe he can do no wrong, but he is one nightmare of a foal.  He doesn't have a cutie mark yet.

Dax Blackwater is the 'black sheep' of the family, meaning that he's the only nice guy.  He was so badly to impress his folks, but lacks greed and cruelty.  His cutie mark is a lump of grey rock with an emerald sticking out of it.

Now that you know the family, throughout this story will be other OCs or cast characters that have shown up in the role play.
