CH.1
    The sonic rainboom ended and Fluttershy got all the animals out of their hiding holes. Fluttershy finally had her cutie mark.
“Now how would I get to the nearest town?” Fluttershy asked to the little woodland creatures. They all shrugged their shoulders having no clue. All except one, fluffy white bunny that tugged on her to follow. Fluttershy followed the jumping ball of fur to some pony playing a guitar, she assumed it was the owner. She could tell he was younger by at most a year. He played his acoustic guitar leaning on a tree stump. He had a brown coat with different shades of black in his long mane, and his eyes were as blue as the sky she fell from.
“Excuse me,” the little filly said shyly.
“O... hi,” said the young colt.
“Does he belong to you?” Fluttershy asked quietly.
“who angel? yea, i guess you could say that, i like to take care of him.” “
he’s so cute!’ said Fluttershy happily.
“Are you lost?” Fluttershy blushed,
“yes, i was actually saved by butterflies by falling from cloudsdale because i couldn’t fly, and now i'm lost in the woods.”
“Are you okay?” the colt said with concern.
“why, yes, i’m fine.”
“Well, if you need me to, i’ll show to the nearest town to where i live, it’s a small town named ponyville.”
“oh! Thank you very much.” Fluttershy said cheerfully.
“by the way, my name’s Metaldy, what’s yours?”
“My name’s Fluttershy.” Metaldy strapped on his guitar and then angel hopped on his back,
“it’s nice to meet you fluttershy, i see you got your cutie mark.”
“oh, why yes, i would have never know my talent would be loving animals.” She blushed a little bit,
“Come on, follow me, i’ll show you the way out of here.” Metaldy said happily. The three head out of the woods and on the the wide dirt road that seemed to go on for awhile on both directions.
“lets head this way, we’ll be able to make it in my guess half an hour.” So the three headed off to ponyville.
CH.2
“Do you have a family Fluttershy?” Metaldy Asked.
“yes, but... there in Cloudsdale and even though i love them very much, i’d rather not go back.” Fluttershy said, she was very sad about not seeing her family, but out of the past, she decided not to go back. A tear ran down eye eye and past her cheek.
“Hey,” Metaldy said calmly,”don’t cry okay. It’s not right, listen, whatever it is we’ll talk about it later, okay?” Metaldy said desperately. Angel hopped on fluttershy back and gave her a hug from the back of her neck. She smiles, then sniffles.
“Thank you, the both of you. You're being very nice to me.” Metaldy blushes,
“Listen, you can stay with me and my parents. Luckily we raise animals for a living, and my dad and mom could use the help.” Fluttershy’s face lit up in excitement,
“Really! Thank you soo much, i really appreciate it.” Fluttershy was excited to see her new home. they continued walking for about half an hour down the dirt road when they came across the town.Fluttershy was surprised to see that it was not a very big town at all. When they had entered the town everyone seemed really nice. All the houses were simple and not too decorated, the shops were not completely packed and they even have a market.To Fluttershy this was a dream come true. The town wasn’t overly populated or too underpopulated, it was a perfect mixture.
“Hey Metaldy!” some pony said while walking by,
“Hey!” Metaldy said back while waving his hoof. Fluttershy was now even more excited that she got to live here in this nice of a place she wished she had known before.
“As you can see,” Metaldy said, “ everyone’s really nice.”
“I can see that, it seems like a paradise here!” Fluttershy said happily.
CH.3
    As they lead up to the curvy dirt road that lead to a cottage mixed in as part of the tree.
“so peaceful” Fluttershy’s eyes grew in excitement.
“come on, you’ll like my parents.” Fluttershy trotted excitedly behind Metaldy. Fluttershy walks into the cottage and sees mare in the kitchen making a salad. Metaldy and Fluttershy walk into the kitchen and Fluttershy notices a stallion out in the back yard. Metaldy says
“Hey Mom, this is fluttershy. i was hoping it was okay if she stayed with us for a while.” The mare walked up to Metaldy. She has the same pattern of mane that he did, but in red, and had an orange coat and her eyes were green.
“sure,” she said happily. Fluttershy lowered her head nervously.
“it’s okay, don’t be afraid, you can call me Mrs. Mela.” Fluttershy smiled to see how friendly his family was, her family. she was overjoyed with happiness to be accepted into such a caring family.
“i’ll go tell your father Metaldy, he would love to hear the great news.” She said as she walked to the door. She opened the door and saw the stallion getting pulled by a big pig.
“Hey! No fair!” he yelled as he got dragged across the ground.
“Come on, lets go sit down at the table.” They both sit on chairs at the table opposite of each other.
“Do you have any friends?” Metaldy asked Fluttershy.
“Besides you-” Metaldy blushes, “- there’s Rainbow Dash.”
“Do you know where she’s at now?” Metaldy asked curiously.
“She’s at cloudsdale i think, atleast that was the last i saw her before i fell.” The door opens and the father walks in with a little dirt on his face.
“So this is the filly that’ll be staying with us?” He stared at Fluttershy for a second.
“Welcome to your new home Fluttershy, you can call me Mr. Mela, easier to remember.”
“Thank you very much” Fluttershy was overjoyed to be so accepted.
CH.4
    “Why don’t you give Fluttershy a tour of the house Metaldy?” Mr. Mela said
“Sure.” Metaldy said.
“Come on Fluttershy, tomorrow i’ll give you a tour of the town”
“Okay.” Fluttershy said cheerfully. The house was a decent sized cottage, it was very comfortable. After the tour he showed her the room she’ll sleep in.
“It looks amazing.” She said cheerfully. it was a pretty small sized room but still comfy.
“Do you think i can help your dad with the animals?” Fluttershy asked Metaldy excitedly.
“Sure. He could use the help.” Fluttershy got excited. The both of them walked outside the back door.
“Hey dad.” Metaldy said.
“Hey Metaldy, hey Flutter- whoa!” Yet again, he was being dragged by the same pig, trying to hold on to get him to calm down. After letting him loose, the father dizzily walks over the the filly and colt.
“O dear, are you okay?” Fluttershy asked.
“Yea, i’m fine.” He said.
“Fluttershy wanted to help with the animals.” Metaldy told his dad.
“Go for it! I need a rest.” The father sits down for a rest on the ground. “
Fluttershy that’s not a good idea,” Metaldy said worriedly, “i’m pretty sure that pig can do some serious damage on any pony.” Fluttershy continued on to the pig, the pig was riled up and seemed like a wild bull gone on a rampage. As Fluttershy approached the pig she said something that Metaldy and his dad couldn't hear. The pig instantly calmed down. As she walked back to them their mouths were left open amazed. Metaldy had never seen that pig so calm before.
“Oh my, did i do something wrong?” Fluttershy asked scared like. Metaldy’s dad got up.
“No, i just never thought i’d see the day that someone would calm that pig down. What did you do to him?” He asked.
“I talked to him.” Fluttershy said peacefully.
“Whatever you did was amazing,” stated Metaldy,
“that pig has the temper of the dragon.” They all laughed and went inside.
CH.5
    During dinner it was quiet for about a minute or two.
“What made you decide you really didn’t want to go back to your other home Fluttershy?” Metaldy’s mom asked curiously. Fluttershy has gotten to be a lot more comfortable with them while Metaldy is around.
“Well, you see, my family isn’t like me,... they’re very mean and sometimes doesn’t know how to control their anger. Me and my mother were  the only ones in the family that was able to avoid fights daily, whether it be from accidentally bumping into people or picking fights with family about silly things. That’s why i didn’t want to go back.” The family stared at her, feeling sorry for that which they did not know.
“A sweet little filly like you shouldn’t have to deal with that.” The mother said, sorrow in her voice.
“I’m sorry i didn’t know, I wouldn’t have asked you before if I had known that’s what happened.” Metaldy said apologetically.
“It’s okay, there was no way you would’ve known back there.” Fluttershy said, comforting Metaldy. After dinner, it was time for them to go to bed, the parents went into a room while Metaldy and Fluttershy went into their rooms upstairs. Asleep, Fluttershy dreamt of fire surrounding her. All of her family, except for the mother, was outside of the fire, laughing, fighting each other, with evil dark red eyes. The fire and them started to vanish, however the voices were still there, mocking, calling names, yelling, then her mother appeared ahead of her walking away from her, into a forest.
“Mother!” She yelled, running after her, it seemed like she was getting nowhere when she finally tripped. She looked up to her mother as she was slowly disappearing into the forest. Fluttershy awoke leaning up on her bed, she yelled, only for a second, it wasn’t loud enough for the parents to hear. But Metaldy heard it from his room that was just across the hallway, he got up quickly to check on her. When he entered her room her face looked like it was in shock, tears ran down her cheek and she tried not to completely cry.
“What happened Fluttershy?” Metaldy said panicky, he feared something and injured her.
“I’m so sorry Metaldy, i just had a bad dream.” she said. Metaldy sighed in relief.
“Wait here a second okay?” Metaldy told Fluttershy as he left the room. Fluttershy waited for about a minute, Metaldy came back in with a glass of water and his acoustic guitar strapped around him. He gave Fluttershy the glass of water, she sipped from the cup as he had gotten ready to play a song, he sat down on a stool next to the bed.
Then he sang to her while playing his guitar.
Fluttershy looked in awe. She did not expect anything like that. Her tears quickly went away , he went up to her and wiped off the leftover tears on her face and tucked her in. The entire time fluttershy was blushing.
“That was really good Metaldy, i didn’t know you could sing like that.” Fluttershy told him.
“Thanks, i don’t like using my voice like that a lot, I’m afraid of people getting the wrong idea.” He commented while tucking her in.
“What was the name of that song?” Asked Fluttershy. Metaldy stood there for a second trying to remember the name of the song.
“I think it was called hush now quiet now, sometimes people will sing it to each other if they can’t fall asleep fall asleep or having trouble.” Fluttershy felt a lot better, she fell asleep quickly after metaldy left the room, the rest of the night she slept peacefully
CH.6
    “Good morning everypony” Fluttershy said as she walked downstairs.
“Good morning!” Everypony else said back. After breakfast, Metaldy decided to take Fluttershy on a tour of the town. Right after heading outside, to Fluttershy’s surprise she saw Rainbow Dash Flying around.
“Fluttershy! Are you here?” Rainbow Dash was yelling as she scanned the town from the sky.
“I’m guessing that’s supposed to be your friend you were talking about?”
“Fluttershy!” Rainbow Dash spotted Fluttershy and flew towards her and landed next to her.
“You’re okay right?” Rainbow Dash asked her.
“Yes i’m fine, sorry for making you worry so much.” Fluttershy said apologetically.
“It’s okay, some other colts in cloudsdale told me they saw you fall,I’m just glad you learned to fly before you hit the ground,” Rainbow Dash said relieved. “and who is he?”
“That’s Metaldy, i guess i have a lot to explain to you don’t i?” Fluttershy said blushing. Fluttershy told her how she was caught by butterflies passing by and she also had told her how she got her cutie mark and ended up here.
“How did you get your cutie mark?” Fluttershy asked Rainbow Dash.
“OH YEA!!!!!, I forgot to tell you!” Rainbow dash screeched.
“What happened?” Fluttershy and Metaldy asked together. Her smile grew big and wide.
“I made a SONIC RAINBOOM!!!” Metaldy and Fluttershy’s mouths dropped.
“You did that?” Metaldy asked her with amazement.
“Yep! i beat those jerks in a race they’ll never forget!” Rainbow dash said punching the air, mimicking the scene as if it was a fight. Rainbow Dash told them both all about it.
“That’s amazing, hey, i have an idea, listen. I'm About to give Fluttershy a tour of the town, you're welcome to join if you want.” Metaldy said to Rainbow Dash.
“Awesome.” Rainbow Dash said. Metaldy gave both of them a tour of the town, they saw everything including the town hall, bakery, library, etc. “It’s getting late, I’m heading home now, bye Fluttershy, bye Metaldy, take care of Fluttershy for me!” Rainbow dash said as she flew away. Fluttershy and Metaldy both go inside.
CH.7
    Everything went well for about a year, Fluttershy helped the father with the animals while Metaldy helped the mom to cook the food.  Every now and again Rainbow Dash would drop by and visit, and they’ll take a break from a work and hang out. One morning the pigs weren’t in there house or in the back yard.
“Do you think someone stole them?” the father said. By now the mother and Metaldy was outside helping them search for the pigs.
“Look at that!” said Fluttershy, there was a whole in the fence.
“This must be where they have gotten out.” The father said. Everybody went to the whole, next thing you know they saw footprints, it led to the evergreen forest.
“I’ll go after them.” the father said.
“Let me go with you.” said Fluttershy.
“No, it’s too dangerous, the less attention that i get in there the better, stay here everybody.” the father said as he jumped the gate and walked off into the forest.
“Come on, lets go inside,” the mother said to the children,
“This isn’t the first time he went in there.” The mother stated, trying to get the kids inside.
“I’ll stay out here.” said Metaldy. Fluttershy looked at him with concern in hopes he’ll be okay she said,
“If it’s okay with you, i’d like to stay out here with him.” She said looking at the mother. The mother looked back at her, smiled, and nodded. Fluttershy sat next to Metaldy and the mother went inside.
“AH!” they heard from the forest of what they knew to be the father. They both stood up and looked at each other, they both had the same idea. they nodded at each other and ran into the forest. their hearts were racing in hopes that he was okay. However, shortly after entering the forest they fell off a ledge. Fluttershy then quickly held on to Metaldy and flapped her wings, she was finally able to fly. Metaldy looked up at her in disbelief and amazement as they gently touched the ground.
“You did it Fluttershy! You flew!” Metaldy said in amazement. Fluttershy blushed,
“Oh, it was nothing special.”
“In any case, congrats! Now come on, we still need to find my father.” Fluttershy nodded, she was still blushing, thinking about not only the father now, but also of Metaldy. The had left the spot where they were at when they found hoofprints leading down inside a cave, the hoof prints seemed to have been following the pig prints around it. Now they were worried, they quickly ran inside the cave. After a while of exploring in it they hear a loud *THUMP*. They looked around the corner and saw a creature the size of a home. It had red scales  and smoke come out of its nose, it also had wings that seemed to expand wider than a regular house, it was a dragon, and it had cornered the father and the pigs. The dragon looked very angry.
“This isn’t good.” said Metaldy. Fluttershy then walked up to the dragon confidently.
“Fluttershy, you and Metaldy get out of here, you're no match for the dragon!” Fluttershy walked up to the dragon with a serious face on her.
“Fluttershy get back here!” Yelled Metaldy, he knew this would not turn out very good. The dragon lunged his tail ready to hit Fluttershy, Metaldy quickly leaps out of his cover and charges at Fluttershy. The dragon swings his tail in a downward motion, Metaldy tackles Fluttershy out of the way. That distraction was able to get the father and the pigs out of the corner and to the exit.
“Come on! Hurry!” the father yelled waving to them. They quickly run out of the cave with the dragon hot on their tail. They ran through the forest as fast as they can dodging everything from rocks, bushes, and trees, while the dragon crushed everything in it’s path. Soon enough they reached the outside of cottage, the mother heard the commotion and ran outside to see what had happened. the three of them were of breathe and the pigs were back in the yard. they all sighed relieved that they got away. The pigs however, were still riled up, Metaldy decided to calm them by playing a song. He ran inside to get his guitar, while he was inside the mother and father were talking. Fluttershy however, looked at the pigs, Something’s wrong. Fluttershy thought. Metaldy came back outside with his acoustic guitar. He went up to the pigs with Fluttershy to try and calm them down. -FOOSH-
“ROOOAAARRR!” The dragon suddenly popped out of the evergreen and charged at Fluttershy. Metaldy quickly reacted and pushed Fluttershy out of the way. Metaldy had used his guitar and smashed the dragon’s head with it. The dragon stumbled backwards and became furious. The guitar shattered to pieces, the only legible part that was left of the guitar was a part of the neck that had the name Metaldy scratched on it. The parents had no time to react and Fluttershy was just standing up. The dragon lunged and picked up Metaldy. The parents couldn’t reach him in time and he was too high, Fluttershy flew as fast as she could to get him. The dragon got farther away and Fluttershy lost momentum as tears covered her eyes,
“Metaldy!” she yelled as she grew weaker and weaker. After hitting the ground she fell and cried. Her body was too weakened she could not get up.
“Metaldy! NO!”

Fluttershy P.O.V.
CH.1
    ‘Why.... why Metaldy.... why not me..... it should have been me’ I thought to myself as I stayed out that night, waiting, in hopes he would come back. The wonderbolts had even got involved, they were told to look for a pony, being carried by a dragon. It was late that night, i couldn’t stop crying, i couldn’t, it was just too much. ‘Why did i make that stupid decision? It should have been me taken away, not Metaldy.’
    I had limped myself inside, completely out of tears, i wasn’t sure where his parents were, i wonder if they want me kicked out now. As i crawled upstairs with still barely any strength, Angel was waiting at the top... We looked into eachothers eyes, his with confusion, mine with sadness, a tear came down my cheek, Angel’s face dropped, he knew. I cried, and i couldn’t stop, i was at the top of the stairs, crying, with angel. That night i couldn’t sleep, i couldn’t go and save him, i couldn’t follow, it’s all my fault.
    The next few days were a depressing, and weird for me, I’m not used to being with Metaldy’s parents alone, and with what happened with him, I can barely look at his parents in the face. I wonders if they plan on kicking me out, I can only hope not, i would much rather be here than with my previous family, no matter what i won’t go back there, even if i get kicked out of here.
CH.2
    A few years passed, nothing seems right anymore, and just recently the economy seems to be hitting hard, Mr and Ms Mela seem... off.
I decided to go off and get some more pig food for the pigs.After i bought the food i saw something at the corner of my eye, it was Rainbow Dash, she was coming towards me, pretty fast too, what was happening?
“FLUTTERSHY!!” she yelled at me. at this point i was confused, and a bit frightened, why did she seem so worried?
“Fluttershy.” she said as she landed next to me, out of breath.
“What is it Rainbow Dash?” i asked
“Fluttershy, your parents, they're coming to get you” she said huffing.
My Parents? Last time i saw my parents was off in Cloudsdale
“Hold on Rainbow Dash are you sure? I mean i haven’t seen my parents since the day of your race.” I said, i didn’t know what to think, i finally found what should be a home now and i’m not giving that up this easily
“I’m positive, i saw them, they were speaking about finding you because they’ll get in trouble if they don’t atleast look for you, Fluttershy you’ve got to hide, they’ll take you back. I’ve spoken  with one of them before, you’re much better off here, hurry, got tell Mrs. and Mr. Mela. Fluttershy it’s time to tell them everything.” Rainbow dash said as she got on the ground and put her hoof on my shoulder.
    I nodded my head, they couldn’t find me. i ran to the home, i needed to tell them everything. Without Metaldy, his parents would be more lost, considering how much work I’ve been needing to do, i wonder if this is what Metaldy had to do before i came. I must inform them. ‘But what if...’ i thought to myself. ‘what if they didn’t want me there anymore... what if they hate me.’ i slowed down, by then Rainbow has left to go home, so she wasn’t here.
‘Maybe i should go home... just maybe...’ i thought to myself. I walked to my house and i saw Mr. and Mrs. Mela, they were preparing dinner.
“Well hey there Fluttershy, we’re almost done with dinner, you can go set the food down next to the counter.” I set the food down on the table contemplating whether or not i should tell them.
I decided to tell them since maybe there’s a possibility that i was wrong, plus if they need me for here i need to be here.
“Uhm... there’s something i have to tell you...” i said, as i said this they both stopped what they were doing and looked at me.
“Well sure Fluttershy, what is it?” Mr. Mela said. At this point i had lost track of what i was going to say.
“Well... it’s about my parents... R-Rainbow Dash t-told me that they were coming a-and-” i was cut off pretty fast.
“Don’t you worry Fluttershy, we don’t have any intention of giving you up where you don’t want to.” Mr. Mela said, with a peaceful smile, along with Mrs. Mela. i couldn’t help but hug them, i cried a little because I thought for sure they would have blamed me for Metaldy and had an ‘oh well’ type of attitude. But no. I was wrong, thank Celestia i was wrong.
I was able to sleep peacefully that night, knowing now that they are not upset with my decision. I lay on the Comfy bed with the blanket now covering me, Angel, came up to me, and slept next to me that night.
CH.3
    The sun shined through the window and into my face. I was ready to get my chores done when it hit me, my parents may well be here today. I walked down the stairs and realized that Mr. and Mrs. Mela weren't there, there bedroom door was opened and i didn’t see anyone in there, same with the back yard.
    I went to go and check the back yard and i saw my parents... with Mr. and Mrs. Mela. ‘ oh no, this can’t be good. I don’t want to go back but i really don’t want anyone to get hurt because of me.’ I felt as if i had been frozen, my face in shock. In my mind i was debating on whether or not to go out there. I put my ear on the door, from what i could hear it didn’t sound like they were very happy
    “We heard we could find my daughter here.” a dark voice said, that was my father. He was a Black mare with Red hair, with red eyes, and a very deep voice. He was never the nicest Pegasus either.
    “Yes, we have been taking care of her and watching over her for the past year.” what sounded like Mr. Mela said.
    “We’ve come to take her back, back to her real family.” said the dark mare. apparently the entire family had came.
    “We are her real family though.” this time it sounded as if it were Mrs. Mela. She sounded as if she was pleading.
    “You are NOT a family to my sister!” this sounded like my brother, Drake, he was a green mare, his mane was the same color of his eyes, black, his voice was also rather deep and imitating for a colt.
    “Easy Drake.” this sounded like it was my father. “He is right however, Fluttershy is rightfully my daughter!” My father seemed upset, i hope to Celestia that they will be okay and my father doesn’t get mad again.
“How about we let her decide? Fluttershy, i know you're hiding behind the door.”  My eyes were wide, how have they known? “How about you come out here with us? We will let you decide, i don’t want to force you to do something you do not want.” with that i slowly peeked out the door and walked outside, except, i felt empty, like someone is missing.
I stood next to Mr.Mela which he scooted me to the center, now i was confused.
“Go ahead... Choose.” he told me. I didn't know what he meant, i turned around and saw my father staring with eyes of a dragon, they were full of hate and anger. Out of instinct, i ran and hid behind Mr. Mela.
“I guess that settles it then,” he said in a voice that seemed rather relaxing, “you should be on your way now.” he told my father. My father turned away with my brother, grumbling something about him not caring and flew off. Mr and- I mean, my parents put a hoof over my shoulders and we walked inside. I felt as if a big weight that had been put on my shoulders is now off.
The next day Rainbow Dash came and asked me what had happened, that she saw my parents that had obviously looked upset when coming back. As i told her what happened she was happy that i didn’t have to go back there with them. They weren’t exactly the nicest ponies. That day I finished the shopping for all the little animals.
CH.4
    It has been a few more years since my parents came, however, even with my new parents, i still feel empty. I’m now 17 and just about ready to take on the world, Rainbow has moved into a cloud here in ponyville and got a job for the weather patrol, she’s really good at it too. Maybe i can stay here and take care of the animals, like a family business, if that’s okay with my parents.
    However my parents were now sitting on the table when i went downstairs this morning, with determined looks on their faces. They saw me coming and motioned for me to sit down next to them. There faces seemed like they were now worried.
    As i sat down they started off, first with my dad, “Fluttershy,” he said, giving me a serious look, “you remember Metaldy right?” he asked me, my heart skipped a beat, i missed him. Besides Rainbow, Metaldy was the only nice one, he reminded me a lot of my blood mother who died when I was born.
    “Y-yes.” i said, i never really did talk much, i didn’t like talking to some ponies, they can be very mean.
    “Me and your mother have decided we’re going away for atleast month, looking for him. We thought that you were old enough to look after the place, you’re 17 now so we thought you’d be able to. What do you say?” He asked me, concerned yet happy on his face.
    “Of course.” i said smiling. i knew that i could take care of the animals myself, and now there’s a chance Metaldy will come back, I can’t wait.
    “Great,” he said, a smile plastered on both his and mom’s face, “We were going to leave at midday.” That day they have shown me how to pay the taxes since they would be gone and wouldn’t be able to do it. We were all surprised by how fast i had learned it. Since i already knew how to take care of all the animals, they didn’t need to worry on anything else.
    I had helped them pack for their trip, i knew it was going to be hard with them gone but they said if i needed help, that i may ask friends. We said our goodbyes and they left. I turned around and cleaned up a bit, it got late once i was done, so afterwards, i slept.
CH.5
    It’s been almost  a week now, it’s tiring and i'm starting to get behind on my work, Everyday so far it’s been wake up, feed the animals, clean, eat, feed, clean, then repeat the next day. However once the taxes came, It was hard for me to focus. I have gone two days without sleep trying to get everything settled out, it was becoming impossible, thankfully angel was able to help, but even with his help, it’s not enough.
    I was about to clean up some more for it became really messy, then i realised we were out of the animal food for the birds. I went to the market and aske angel to try and clean what he could while i went to get the food, he nodded and i gave him a hug.
    As i was walking to the marketplace a searched for the stand to where the bird feed was.
    “Excuse me, but i would like to buy the large bird feed please.” i asked the man in the stand putting down the bits the sign had on it.
    “Sure thing Ma’am.” he said as he brought down the feed and put it on stand for me to take.
    “Th-Thank you.” i said. He gave me a smile and a nod as i left with the feed. My eyes were barely open as of how tired i was. Then out of what must have been sheer luck, Rainbow came flying next to me and slowed to a walk.
    “Uh, hey Fluttershy... you don’t look so good, are you okay?” she asked, obviously noticing how i was swaying a bit.
    “Huh? Oh yes, sorry Rainbow, i just haven’t gotten any sleep in a while so I’m a bit tired.” i said, smiling and trying to keep balance. Out of what seemed like nowhere, she grabbed the bag of bird feed i was carrying on my back and put it on hers.
    “Come on Fluttershy, you look like a mess. I’ll clean up and feed the birds, you get some rest.” she told me with a smile on her face and hoof over my shoulder.
    “Oh- uh- it’s quite alright you don’t h-” i was cut off by her. “I’m not taking no for an answer Fluttershy, you need your rest.” she said with a grin on her face. I smiled back, “Thank you Rainbow.” i said as we walked back to the cottage.
    Once we reached the cottage, rainbow set down the bird  feed and looked around. “Hey fluttershy,” she started, “Where are your parents?” she asked me, still looking around.
    “They left about a week ago, out to search for Metaldy since we all thought i could look after the place myself, they said they were leaving for a month.” i smiled with my hoof scratching the back of my neck. She nodded and started feeding the birds, she’s been over a couple of times and watched me, she knows how to do it.
    She decided to stay with me here and help out while she worked at the weather control. She ended up getting a house made of clouds and lived there, however most nights she had spent here helping. I couldn’t be more thankful for the support she has given me.
    It’s now been three months now, and I’m still waiting, when Rainbow came knocking on the door. “Oh hi Rainbow, please come in.” i said, letting her inside we both took a seat on the table.
    “Hey, uh... listen Fluttershy, we need to talk.” she said, I haven’t seen this type of face on her before, but it seemed bad.
    “About what?” i asked, still wondering what she wanted to talk about.
    “About your parents...” she said, she looked depressed. Did something happen to my parents? “Fluttershy... I-... I don’t think there coming back, They’ve missed your birthday three weeks ago and something just doesn’t add up.” she said looking at me sympathetically. By now my head was down, i was trying to hold back tears. I knew she was right, they weren’t coming back, and i only wondered what had happened.
    “What *sniff* what makes you think that?” i said, trying to hold back tears, by now angel was next to me, hugging my leg. Rainbow dash got up and stood next to me. She gave me a hug, then i cried. I knew they weren’t coming back, no matter how bad or unreal it seemed, they weren’t coming back.
    “What *sniff* what do you think *sniff* happened?” i asked her, crying on her shoulder and hugging her.
    “I don’t know Fluttershy, i just don’t know.” she said hugging me she had spent that night with me not wanting to leave my side, i told her i was  better but she insisted. That night i stayed up, thinking about all the possibilities that could’ve happened to them.
    I’m now 19 and i need a worker. So me and Rainbow put an ad out in the newspaper for help. More animals have come in and Rainbow was getting a bit more busy with the weather. The ad offered a place to stay since there was plenty of room here.
    I got a letter about the ad and that they would be here ASAP. i was happy that there was help but i still had felt empty.
    The next day a knock came on the door, angel tugged at me to get it. “Who is it?” i asked loud enough just for them to barely hear it.
    “It’s Ampliandam, the pony for the job.”
    “Hold on I’ll be right there.” rushing to the door. As i opened the door i looked at the stallion and my heart stopped and i stared.
    “A-Are you okay miss?” he asked me, I completely tuned it out.
    “Metaldy?!” I exclaimed higher than i normally would've talked.
    “Huh?...

“Huh?” Metaldy asked, he thought she must of been talking to someone behind her so he turned around to check.
“I’m sorry miss,... but who are you talking to?” Metaldy asked, confused about the entire situation as Fluttershy just stared at him.
“W-What do you mean, y-your Metaldy? Correct?" Fluttershy asked confused as to who she was looking at. By this point however, Metaldy decided to take out the newspaper he had brung with him. He turned to the ad section and showed her the ad for a worker.
"Here, this is the ad that I've come for, mentioning a place to stay for work, my name is Ampliandam, not Metaldy, I'm sorry." Metaldy felt bad for bringing her down, he figured whoever he was had been important to her. Fluttershy however was not convinced, she couldn't tell whether he was serious or kidding, she knew it was him, she just knew it, no way could someone that looked exactly like him come here and not be him. Fluttershy had decided to roll with it, in her mind she figured him  being around the house might bring back memories. ‘Whatever happened to him and that dragon, i'm just glad he’s safe.’
in Metaldy’s mind, however, he was wondering who Metaldy was. After Fluttershy had let him inside he looked around the room. He could smell the scent that the house had and wondered why it had seemed so familiar.
Metaldy Had taken off his saddle bag and put it next to the door and took one step forward before stopping himself. At this point he wondered what he had just done and stared at the saddlebag. He couldn’t come up with any reason why he would have put the saddle bag there, he was in someone elses house and he only put the bag next to the door when he was in his own room in the orphanage.
“Are you okay?” Fluttershy asked him. She looked back and saw him just staring at the saddlebag he had set next to the door. He snapped out of it fairly quickly.
“Huh? Yea, sorry,” he said as he picked up his bag, “I just put the bag down next to the door for some reason is all, i don’t normally do that.” he explained. Fluttershy at this point was fairly confused, he had always done it before, why did it bother him now?
She decided to wait and see what happens, she showed him to his original room for him to stay in. Metaldy looked at the room in awe. It wasn’t anything fancy but it just felt like a home and he just got there.
As Metaldy stood there eyeing his new room his mind slowly drifted off to Tagalong, however now he could only pray to Celestia for his safety and well being. He could still remember how he ran off like that, now he felt bad for not getting a job and apartment in Manehatten.
“Is everything okay?” a voice from behind Metaldy said, he turned around to look at Fluttershy, only now though had he realized how the sun had reflected off her eyes making them give off a sparkle.
“Uh- y-yeah i’m fine. Sorry i was just thinking about a friend back in Manehatten.” Metaldy responded with a slight brush reaching across his face. “So i will be staying here for now on then?” Metaldy asked trying to fight off his blush, however, try as he might, he couldn’t succumb to her smile.
“That’s correct,” Fluttershy said while smiling, “I’m sure you’ll find yourself comfortable here.” she said to him, looking in the room knowing that now he’s back and she’s no longer alone.
“So, when do i start work?” Metaldy asked putting his saddlebag down on the bed.
“I was actually going to the market to get some food for all the animals, i could use your help carrying the food.” Fluttershy said. Metaldy nodded and left with her.
As they were walking down the road away from the cottage, Fluttershy found herself keep looking at Metaldy, who, for some reason, thought he was ampliandam. She was willing to deal with it at first in hopes he can remember some stuff from before he left. Every time she would look at him he always saw a sort of tired look about him, so she got worried.
‘Just what happened to him?’ Fluttershy thought to herself. The walk was fairly quiet, neither of them said a word as they walked down the dirt path next to each other.
“Are you okay?” Fluttershy asked, “You seem a bit... tired.” By this time Metaldy had a confused, but interested, face on.
“Sorry, I’ve actually been told that a lot in Manehatten. No I’m fine, thank you for the concern though.” Metaldy said while smiling. Fluttershy however was not convinced.
‘My mind must be playing tricks on me, it has to be. This stallion is from Manehatten, not Ponyville, there’s no way he can be Metaldy.’ Fluttershy was now looking ahead as the town was coming into view.
To Metaldy, this was the first time he’s been to this town. So he was taking in all the sites as they went by, the bakery that looked like a gingerbread house, the town hall that seemed a bit old, and the library that seemed to be put smack dab in the middle of town.
“So tell me Ampliandam,” Fluttershy said to him quietly, which Metaldy not only didn’t mind but found himself being able to understand her as well, Fluttershy, however, wanted to just break the silence, “What do you think of the town so far?” She asked.
“It’s really nice here, not as busy as Manehatten that’s for sure.” He said while chuckling. Fluttershy just giggled at his comment.
“Have you always played the guitar?” She asked, remember seeing the guitar he layed down next to his bed.
“As far as i can remember.” He told her, Metaldy didn’t want to tell Fluttershy what had happened to him and how he had memory lost, his troubles with the bullies were bad enough, what would his ‘boss’ think, ‘she might have second thoughts about employments.’ Metaldy thought to himself.
“How interesting.” She said while smiling. ‘or maybe not, still though i’d rather not bring it up.’ Metaldy thought after she responded. The walk was pretty quiet and when they got the food the shopkeeper had given fluttershy and Metaldy a quick smirk that only Metaldy saw. ‘What was that about?’ Metaldy asked himself at what he saw, but was able to keep a straight face thanks to some poker practice between him and Vocaleero.
‘I wonder how Vocaleero is doing, last he told me he had some business that needed to be done and that he would eventually be moving, but he never told me where or when, i wonder if he’s even left yet. which makes me also wonder about Tags...’ Metaldy was in mid thoughts he didn’t hear the question that Fluttershy had asked him.
“You okay?” Fluttershy asked him. He hadn’t realized but he was staring forward. ‘What exactly happened to him?’ Fluttershy thought as they walked up to Sugarcube Corner.
“Oh, uh, sorry i was just daydreaming is all, what did you ask me again?” Metaldy asked, giving a sheepish smile.
“Oh, well, I was wondering if you were hungry.” She said.
Metaldy was about to respond when his stomach did it for him. His stomach growled loudly for Fluttershy to hear. She giggled as he turned a light shade of pink.
“It’s alright if you are, I was getting kind of hungry myself as well.” She told him.
“Oh well okay, thanks. Sorry.” Fluttershy still giggled at his response.
“It’s fine Ampliandam, you don’t have to apologize.” With that, the two walked into the store and met a mare at the counter.
“Hey Fluttershy! Oh! Who’s your new friend? He must not be around from here because last time I remember I knew everypony in Ponyville but I don’t remember him and I have a good memory I should know. Wait that means I have to throw you a welcome to Ponyville party! Do you like parties? I know I do I also like cupcakes do you like cupcakes?”
The talkative mare had finished her questions and waited patiently for his response.
“Uh, Well yes I do like cupcakes but I’m not sure about parties. I’ve never really
been to a party before.” Metaldy remembered the ‘party’ that he had. It just consisted of him and Vocaleero at his birthday, when they realized what regular parties were like they didn’t really throw anymore, they just hung out.
“Never had a party before?! Well that’s no good! We’ll have to throw you an extra super duper party then!” She yelled as if he was on the other side of the room. “By the way, My names Pinkie Pie.” She told me as she extended her hoof rather excitingly.
Metaldy took the hoof and shook it, “Name’s Ampliandam. Nice to meet you.” She may have been rather loud, but atleast she wasn’t a complete and total jerk. Metaldy thought to himself
While they were there Metaldy had eaten a cupcake, which was, by far, the best cupcake He’s ever had, and Fluttershy had a muffin. Once they left they waved goodbye to Pinkie Pie and trotted out the door.
They reached back to her cottage and Metaldy sat the food down next to the couch. They then distributed the food to all the little and big animals that was there. The only animal Metaldy had any trouble with was that pig outside, it’s got one mean temper.

It’s been a couple of days, strange how things just come naturally to you, I honestly thought that helping around would have been a bit harder than I thought, but all the animals were fairly nice to me. I’m not complaining though, I’m glad that they’re cooperative... again, unlike that pig.
“Ampliandam, would you mind feeding the pig?” Fluttershy asked me from the kitchen. “Sure.” I said, as I started to walk outside from my resting spot on the couch. This was going to be tough, I looked at the pig as it snorted at me, it had half a food bowl and I needed to fill it because it will make noise at night if it’s not filled. However, it thought I was trying to steal the rest of it’s food, so it tries to protect it. For a pig, this one is brave.
“Okay pig,” I said, “I’m not going to try and take your food, I’m just putting more in there, okay?” Another snort came from it’s snout. I slowly stepped towards the bag that was on the other side of the yard, keeping my distance away from the pig. I got to the bag and threw it on my back. I walked towards the pig’s bowl and opened the bag.
I wasn’t paying attention to the pig since I was trying to open the bag, until I heard footsteps, a sharp pain in my head, and everything went black.

Re Union(Perspective Metaldy)
It was dark as light started to shine, I looked around and saw that I was with some pigs, Fluttershy, and another pony, but this pony? Who is he, he looks familiar? He looks like..... my dad.
‘Wait a minute’... I thought to myself. I looked on my back to see myself carrying a guitar. An acoustic Guitar. I heard a roar then I looked ahead. A dragon was standing in front of us and attacked Fluttershy.
‘That’s right’... I thought. I was in my own memory. I watched as the events unfolded up to me rolling down the hill and getting knocked out cold.
‘I’m not Ampliandam..... I’m Metaldy.... And I fought a DRAGON!’ I shouted in my head.
I woke with a blinding white light coming to my eyes. I stood up and looked around to see Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, and other ponies I don’t know, except one... Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy’s old friend. At first we all looked at each other in mild shock as my memories came flooding in. Then I got a really bad headache.
I placed one of my hooves to my head as the pain slowly but surely dissipated. “Who are you all?” I looked up at them.
“You must be Ampliandam, Fluttershy was here worried about you so we decided to stay with her. My name’s Twilight Sparkle.”
“My name’s Rarity, nice to meet you darling.” She said.
“My name’s Applejack, AJ for short.” She extender her hoof, which I met her halfway and shook it.
“Fluttershy, are you sure we haven’t met already, he looks really familiar?” Rainbow Dash told me.
“Well I’d hope so, turns out a knock to the head can do wonders if you had amnesia.” I told them. They all looked at me a bit worried, like I was going crazy very slowly. “What I mean by that is that I’ve learned something that I really wish I knew earlier. Turns out Fluttershy, my name IS Metaldy.” Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash’s eye’s widened at this.
Without warning Fluttershy ran and locked me into a tight hug, which I couldn’t help but hug back. After the hug broke I looked into her eyes, they were a little watery. It felt good to be back.
“Wait a minute? Fluttershy, you told me he got carried away by a dragon?” Rainbow Dash said.
“What?!” A simultaneous yell broke out into the room.
“He did, I watched, Metaldy... what happened?”
“Interesting story actually, but now that I look back at it,” I started as I got out of bed, just being a little dizzy, “I wonder what he was saying.”
“Who?” Rainbow Dash asked.
“Alright, I’ll tell you what happened, but I still don’t get all of it myself.”
“It’s ok.” Fluttershy said, “As long as you’re okay.” Celestia, I realized just how much I missed that smile.
I began to retell what had happened starting from when we realized the pigs were let out. I then proceeded to tell them about what it spoke, about Cithara Dues. Twilight, said that she will look into the meaning. Thank Tartarus too, I don’t think I’d be able to  learn that myself. Afterwards I told them about my clumsy mistake and the stuff that happened in the orphanage. How I got bullied and saved a colt from getting bullied as well.
After I finished the story I got a hug from Fluttershy who didn’t seem to want to let go. “Hey, I’ll be fine Fluttershy, you don’t gotta worry.” I said as I put a hoof on her head. “But I would like to know Fluttershy, what happened to my parents?” I asked her.
“They went to look for you. They never came back.” Fluttershy told me. At the corner of my eye I saw Rainbow Dash roll her eyes. I would have to talk to her about what had happened, if I remember my parents, they just don’t leave and stay gone.
“This calls for a party!” Pinkie Pie yelled and jumped around speaking about the party she was going to throw for me and the cupcakes that will be their. Those were good cupcakes.
“How about we wait until I can leave the hospital.” I told her normally. She instantly stopped hopping around and looked at me with a big smile on her face.
“Pinkie Promise we can have a party thrown for you?” She asked.
“Sure?” I told her not too sure what a Pinkie Promise was.
She giggled at my response. “Repeat after me.” She said. “Cross my heart, hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye.” She then put her hoof on her eye which seemed really uncomfortable.
“Cross my heart hope to fly stick a cupcake in my eye.” I said without actually poking my eye. “Yay!” She yelped. I looked back to Fluttershy who was still hugging me, and just cuddling up to me, I didn’t want to move either so I just pretended not to notice.
“So how long was I out?” I asked.
“Just for a few hours, thank goodness Rainbow Dash came by when she did.” Fluttershy said. I hope I wasn’t heavy.
“Yea, good thing.” I said with a smile.
Rarity was about to say something when a glow started coming from the window. What seemed like some kind of golden mist behind a window floated there, as if it were waiting for something. I used my magic then opened up the window, the mist the came in and floated straight for me. I became enveloped in a sparkly golden glow. I was lifted off the bed as everyone stared in awe and scared as to what might happen. Everyone was too shock to do anything.
The glow that lifted me up didn’t feel good, but not bad either, like I was putting on armour of some sort. It stood me up in an empty space on the floor as the glow wrapped around my body in what seemed to be some sort of silhouette. That silhouette then got heavy, and formed into my guitar, except it changed, from what was an ordinary guitar, seemed a bit more... stronger. It’s smooth, rounded edges, now formed into spiked, the neck seemed a bit more slim, and the head of the guitar turned into a V shape with one large spike at the end and a smaller one right below it. The body was a shiny red in the middle with a golden trim. Instead of the dots that marked the frets, it’s now fire that changes from red to yellow. The head itself glowed that golden shine that covered me, except the aura stayed where it was, and covered the guitar head as if it were on fire, a very odd one at that. It did not burn, but I could feel the power coming from it.
“What happened?” Fluttershy asked.
“I don’t know.” I said.
“Potentia vero, de medio vestri.” The voice rang out through the room, and everyone was quiet as they listened to the voice.
“That voice...” I said lowly, everyone looked me in anticipation. “I’ve heard it before, like it”s talking to me. But why?”
“This is definitely something to look into.” Twilight said as she took a step closer to me. Now I looked up and at all their faces, I saw fear, and a tad bit of curiosity. Damn.
“You know,” I said as I started to smile innocently at the group, “I could really go for that party now.” I said as I put a hoof on the back of my neck.
“Oh boy!” Pinkie screams as she zips out of the room.
“Did I say something wrong?” I asked to the others, who were going back to normal, especially since the outburst.
“No, that’s just Pinkie being Pinkie.” Twilight said.
We all left and I was able to be checked out of the hospital, after a brief explanation of why I am fine instantly. And Nurse Redheart was happy to hear about my memory returning, turns out she knew my parents before. Since it was late, we all decided to head home. As we walked in I tried to take the guitar off of me, but the strap was stuck.
I stood there trying to unsling the strap but it seemed to just get stuck. Fluttershy noticed my distress and tried to help, until we realized that it wouldn’t come off.
“That’s strange.” Fluttershy said as she tugged on the strap one last time.
“That is.”
“Documento unus: reformabit.” That voice again.
“Did you hear that?” I asked Fluttershy.
“Hear what?” She asked.
“Nevermind.” I said
“So should we just leave this on?” She asked me.
“Yea, I don't see that coming off anytime soon.”
Then, as if it was trying to tell us something, the guitar changed into a hammer, a big one. The weight of the weapon sent me crashing to the ground.
“Ah!” It was more surprising than hurting, getting this thing off me just became a necessity.
“Oh dear, are you alright?” Fluttershy asked.
“Hold on, I have an idea.” I said through grinding my teeth
I charged up a spell as i blasted it with a bolt of magic. The bolt of magic reflected and came straight back at me.
Time seemed to have stopped, there was no pain, no fear, just like a moment of bliss, then the voice came back.
“Now we may talk and understand each other.” Said the voice. I tried responding but I Found myself somehow paralyzed. “Just think of what you need to say, and when you’re ready, let your mind speak.”
“Who are you? I have been hearing your voice my entire life, I was beginning to think I was crazy.” I thought aloud.
“I am Aequivalere. The dragon you met from your childhood. When you came into my cave, I sensed power, the power that’s said to only come when dire needs arise. I must of checked to see who it was with this power. You. As a child you made a dragon, stumble back, with a whack of a puny guitar.” I hadn’t thought about it like that. With my memory gone I couldn’t, and only recently did I have the chance to.
“So what does this mean? I was seperated from my parents my entire childhood and have yet to meet them. Does me having this power have to do with it?”
“Your power does play a role with your missing parents. Let me show you the path.”
A bright flash of light appeared and it seems to have faded away into some some sort of scene.
“Over there are your parents.” Aequivalere noted about the ponies walking on the road. “They left the cottage to look for you, they were only suppose to be gone for 2 weeks.” I looked in the background and saw fire, rising from the woods.
“What’s that honey?” My father said. “Is that smoke?”
“Looks like it dear.” Mother said with a look of worry about her.
“Come on, someone may need help.” With that they headed out to the woods.
About 5 minutes after entering however a large crash was heard from behind them. They turned around only to see a large black and red dragon. They stared at the dragon’s purple glowing eyes and dark aura form around it, then ran. They ran towards the town as fast as they possibly could until they were blocked off by a wall of black fire.
The turned around and barely got to blink as the large dragon swooped down and snatched them both up. The dragon then proceeded to head to a cave that seemed to have been somewhat hidden in the mountains.
The bright light came back and then proceeded to bring back the same place I was at originally, in the cottage with Fluttershy, frozen in time. What seemed like rays of light wrapped around me and vanished into my head.
“If ever, you feel the need to speak to me, please, do not hesitate. I may only offer advice as I cannot help you in your travels. Also, I have given you the knowledge of transmuting. Just transmute your instrument into a sword, I tried to change the training up over the past thousands of years but as you can see I couldn’t do it.
Time continued back to normal.
“Are you alright?” Asked Fluttershy.
“Y-yea, I’m fine.” I said as i focused my energy to the guitar again.
“Eep, I don’t think that would be a very good id-” She was cut off as I used a transmutation spell on the guitar. The guitar and the strap were engulfed in a bright light and the form of it changed. The body separated and seemed to have formed a shield, the neck became sharp while the head seemed to have changed into the grasp of the sword.
“O-oh my...” Fluttershy said as the sword came into view
After a long explanation on how the same dragon spoke to me and I learned what happened to my parents She became shocked
“Does this mean you’re going to get them?” She asked. I looked into her eyes and saw fear and sadness... The same sadness from when I got carried away from before...
“Don’t worry,” I said, “I’ll come back in one piece and safe.” I told her as I stared back into her eyes. Only now had I realized how beautiful they really were.
We were close to each other now, and I could feel her breath on me as we slowly closed in.
“Just... be careful.” She whispered as our lips locked.
For what seemed like eternity we were in a moment of bliss. As if all our troubles have been washed away in a sea of peace. But, as everything else, all good things come to an end.
“Shall we take this up to the room?” She whispered ever so shyly into my ear. Or not... I thought as we walked up to the room.

The next morning I awoke next to Fluttershy, still snuggled up to me. I stroked her mane with my hoof and she held onto me tighter.
She finally woken up and kissed me. “That was amazing.” She said as her head laid on my neck.
“It sure was.” I replied remembering the events of last night.
We eventually got up to get breakfast.
“Oh, I almost forgot, Twilight wanted you to go to the library, she also wanted you to bring your guitar.” Fluttershy told me.
“Oh, alright. Will you be coming as well?” I asked.
“Mhmm.” She hummed as we ate our breakfast.
After I morphed back the guitar Me and Fluttershy headed to the library
Once we reached the library we walked in and was met with a bunch of ponies and a bright light.
“Surprise!” Ponies yelled simultaneously. A surprise party? For me?
A pink flash then blurred my vision. “Did we surprise ya? hu?hu?” She said quickly.
“Yes Pinkie, You sure did. I didn’t expect so many ponies to show up.” I said as i looked around.
“Ampliandam!” I heard from my right. I turned to see Tagalong, with a little filly that looked a lot like him.
“T-Tagalong?!” I nearly yelled. He ran up to me and jumped as I caught him in a hug. “Tagalong what are you doing here?!” I said smiling being as happy as can be.
“I was adopted by my original family soon after you left!” He said. Most of everypony was now watching the scene unfold between us, but we didn’t care. “So how have you been?” He asked me.
“You wouldn’t believe me if I told you, come on, I’ll tell you the story along with everyone else that wants to know.” I said to him.
“Ooh! I like stories!” said a mint green unicorn that came walking towards me with a white earth pony that had blue striped hair. “By the way, I’m Lyra and this is my friend Bon Bon.” She said.
“Nice to meet you, now, I’m sure you are all wanting to hear the story.” All the ponies quieted down and focused their attention on me. Damn I hate hogging attention like this. “Alright then, I’ll start from the beginning, on how I met Fluttershy.
One story later
“That’s my story.” I said aloud.
“Woooow” I looked over and saw some little fillies staring at me with amazement.
“Well that at least explains where you went to all those years ago.” Fluttershy said as she walked up to me.
“I Can’t believe it,” Twilight said. “So, what you’re telling me is that you’ve actually talked to a dragon?” Twilight asked. I nodded my head as a response. My face grew grim as i had just remembered I can’t stay here.
“Yea, and I gotta say, I’m not looking forward to leaving again.” I said as I looked down at the punch I was holding, wishing that there was alcohol in here. I know there isn’t, there are kids at this party. ‘One could dream’ I thought, as i drank the last of my punch.
“Do you have to leave so early though?” I looked to my right and saw Fluttershy, tears forming in her eyes. She knew I had to, but I did only just come back. Figuratively speaking of course.
“It would be nice if you stayed here for some time more.” Twilight said.
“Yeah! And this way I have time to throw you a goodbye party as well!” Pinkie Pie piped in.
As I looked at the faces that now encouraged me to stay, I felt something I haven’t felt in a long time. I felt calm, secure, safe, and most importantly, someplace I can call home.
A smile grew on my face as I looked at all the ponies waiting for an answer.
“Alright.” I said. All the ponies in the room cheered, it all stopped when I raised my hoof to calm them down. The once happy face i had was now gone and replaced with one a bit more serious.
“I’ll stay, but only for a week longer.” The  crowd grew silent once more, as I saw Fluttershy’s ears drop. “But,” I started again, “I swear by Celestia I will come back alive, in one piece.” I said aloud.
It started off with one pair of hooves clapping, then grew until the entire party was cheering me on.
“WOOH!” Somepony yelled in the room.”Show that dragon who’s boss!” Another yelled.
I looked into the crowd of cheering ponies and smiled. ‘This is my home, this is what I love.’ i thought as Fluttershy hugged me from the side. We looked into each other’s eyes, the crowd still cheering in the background, and locked lips. ‘This is why I’m coming back, not only to see my friends and the love of my life, but to ensure their protection. No matter what the cost.’ I thought to myself as the crowd grew louder with the passionate kiss.

CH.1
    I cried, i lost track of time on how long i cried, but i stopped when i realized it was useless, i don't necessarily care anymore. I’ve lost everything, mom, dad, and Fluttershy. The dragons grip is hard, he must not want to lose me, but why? What did i do to deserve this? What exactly did the dragon want with me? All these questions and no answers, I dare not ask, i don’t know what he’ll do. It got late and i got tired, although the ride was very uncomfortable i passed out. I woke up hitting the ground, he threw me, i’m still unsure of what he wants exactly.
“PONY!” the dragon roared. I was about to stand up but the roar knocked me down, he was powerful, too powerful for me to do anything, even run, not like i was able to or anything, it seems as if i’m inside a volcano, there are walls all around. I looked up at the dragon, he stared at me and landed in front of me hard, I couldn’t stand, he was too powerful.
“Your bravery with the instrument led me to believe it is you. welcome, Cithara Dues.” The dragon said in a much more soothing voice, one that let you know of his power yet I can still stand.
“What do you mean? Cithara Dues? What does that mean? Why a-am I here?” i asked, scared for my life. The dragon flew up just above me, the wings forcing me back, then he roared.
“Praesento uobis hoc Cithara.” As he roared that, an electric guitar came up from the ground as he continued his powered speech.
“Potentiae intra erit egredietur in tempore, ut nunc, reseras porta usque ad scalam vestris fati.” He flew away, then i took the guitar, on the wall appeared what seemed to be a wall cave design, strange... it just appeared there when he left. I looked up at the drawing, on it was a note that said ampliandam, i took the note, not knowing what it meant i took it, maybe it can give me an explanation on why i’m here.
I looked up at the poster, it had a picture carved into the stone, it had a picture of a pony, he looked familiar but i couldn’t tell, so i decided to leave it. Besides the pony had a guitar that had some sort of waves going towards a dragon, for some reason it was asleep. I stepped back as i heard a bang on the wall right behind it, next thing i know there are stairs up above the wall drawing, i didn’t trust it, but it seemed like it was the only way out. i can only wish myself lucky, an opportunity to see my family again, its almost like this would just turn out to be another story to tell.
    Excitedly i ran up the stairs, the hope of returning is overwhelming, i’m almost about to cry i’m so happy. but then i stopped halfway, what exactly happened to me? What did the dragon want? What language was he speaking in? I was walking up the rocky staircase as if it had never just appeared. All these questions in my head and no one to answer them, if only i had more bravery to actually get an answer, maybe they thought that we all talk like that?  i climbed the rest of the staircase when all of a sudden i felt tired in my back, as if i had sudden lost energy to stand, the guitar that i had strapped to my back was given off energy, not magic, but energy, i’ve never seen anything like it, then i finally collapsed and fell. i rolled down the hill i was on top of. as strange as it is, i didn’t feel anything and the guitar seemed not to be affected by the fall. i kept rolling not being able to stopped, as if I’m paralyzed in a bad nightmare, i hit a rock and flew off the ground. The next thing i see is a tree, then black.
CH.2
    i woke up next to a tree, ‘who am i? where am I? How did i get here? I don’t understand where I’m at, how i got here, or why. And what’s with this guitar on my back?’ i kept asking myself. all of a sudden i got this sharp pain on my eye, then i saw a little bit of blood. Whatever i did i got a bad cut right next to my eye. i decided to take a little journey onward, maybe something can jog my memory back in place.
    I walked through the woods and found i city, i decided to go ahead into the city and find out if anypony knows anything about me. Out of this entire city someone has to know, it is the first thing i came to so i had to of came from here.
    I continued through the city and found a building that had orphanage on the top, i checked every else, maybe i’m an orphan? i walked into the building and saw a lady on the counter, at this point i was tired of searching, tired of  wondering, a beat up badly. There wasn’t a lot of hospitality to a young pony that’s wondering where he was, but an orphanage is a good place right? i walked up to the pony at the counter, she looked at me concerned, since it was dark out she probably couldn’t see me too well.
    “Am I home?” i asked.
    “Where are your parents?” She asked me.
    “I don’t know.” i said.
    “Well,” she said, “You're more than welcome to stay here until you are found, come, let me fix you up.” I took her up on the offer, I don’t know where i’m suppose to belong to, my only hope is being here and that they find me, whoever they are.
    It’s been almost a year, i live here now, no-one has came to pick me up or even adopt me, i just wonder if the reason is because they wanted me gone to begin with. On the bright side, i seem to have a talent with this guitar, I don’t even remember ever having one or even practicing, i got my cutie mark with it, it was my talent but i just wish i knew how i got this guitar to begin with. i just know i realized i was good at it, then right there i just got my cutie mark, i was actually just calm, i didn’t know really what to think, so i kind of ignored it, i’m glad i got it, but how long have i really waited to get it?
    As much as i wish orphanages were good places, i was wrong. For a place that suppose to be helping kids find a future with a family, it sure is depressing, how long have the kids here waited for someone to adopt them? Once you turn 18 you have to leave, at this rate however i’d rather leave at 16, i even heard some kids that one kid left at 14, but why? What had pressured him to leave that early?
    I’m 14 now and i finally understand why they had left, i figured a problem like this would have been solved already, but i guess a problem like this has to be passed down. Bullies, that’s my guess on why people want to leave so early, the way these bullies are it is reasonable. Butch and his friend Skates have been teasing me for a couple of years, then one day it got to a breaking point of some sort. i was walking down the hallway, i had gotten a little job for myself on teaching and repairing guitars, where i got the knowledge is beyond my information, i just know it. i was about to leave but butch and Skates were waiting outside the door for me.
“Ah, what do we have here?” Butch said. Skates laughed,
“A little lost colt.” skates said. They were both grinning. Skates was just a year older than i am, Butch is two years older than me.
“May I please go on now?” i had asked, i wanted to avoid anything to do with them. They didn't budge.
“We’re not done with you.” Butch had said I got scared, all i wanted was to go to my friend Vocaleero’s house. We became good friends after i came to the orphanage, people here thought i was strange because I had an unknown past and didn’t trust me because of that, not Vocaleero, he didn’t care.
“Where you heading to freak?” Butch said. He pushed me against the wall and my head hit the wall after my back did. they called me freak because they couldn’t pronounce my name, i just tried to ignore them whenever i could. My name ended up just being what was written on the posted note since no one else knew, ampliandam, i even wish i knew what it meant sometimes, other times i just ignored it.
“I’m heading out to do my work.” i told him, I was in no mood to deal with him.
“Why? the freak wants to try and find his past?” he mimicked. “Or maybe he just wants a nice beating.” With that he punched me in the gut, hard. I fell to the ground in pain, my eyes were closed then i realized the pain went away fairly quickly, the guitar ended up glowing, as i opened my eyes i felt not numb, but as if there is no pain.
“Huh?” butch said, confused. “Alright then, if you want to stay up, you'll go down. lets get him Skates!” like that they jumped at me, they tried hitting me but i felt nothing, like i’m just watching them, however my anger with them grew with every punch they threw at me, then, as if almost controlled, my hoof went up and knocked out Butch and Skates with one swift swing.
    After that, they had left me alone and i didn’t have to worry about them bugging me, most of the pony’s on the orphanage seemed like they respected me more after that but I’m not too sure. Mixing up respect with fear is a bad mistake that i don’t want to make, so i basically stayed the same, mostly antisocial unless someone asks something.
CH.3
    It’s been two years now, Vocaleero’s family ended up getting an adopted brother named Cloud, An exciting little colt that likes to go fast. I wonder what his family was like.
I was on my way to the room from Vocaleero’s when i heard a cough, i was at the floor just below me. It wasn’t a normal cough, it was a pained cough, the one that i got when i was bullied, i got really concerned so i looked around the corner to see what was going on, what i saw was maddening. Even after i put a stop to my bullying there still here, new bullies, but why?
“Come on little squirt your boring me.” The biggest one said, they seemed too young for this, it’s not right. There were three colts surrounding one colt, a pegasus, he was beat up pretty bad.
“Hey,” i yelled to them, “Stop that!” i yelled. the biggest one pulled out a blade and threatened me.
“This doesn’t concern you, buckey! Back off!” he yelled at me. I backed off slowly, not to the point i left, i looked back at the colt that was pummeled, these kids that were bullying him were almost my age, and three against one, is not fair, especially if one has a knife.
“Come on now, you don’t need to do this, put the knife away and just leave the kid alone, he did nothing wrong.” i tried explaining to him, right now fighting is one thing i don’t want to do.
“Shut up! We do what we want! Rough Edge, Talon, hold down the squirt while i deal with him.” Like that the two colts behind him held down the poor pegasus, with a few smacks here and there. The big one charged at me with a knife when i wasn’t paying attention, i dodged it to the point to where i was safe, however he cut my shoulder.
“Pugnare!” a voice yelled in my head, i tipped over a little bit but then i got a sudden burst of adrenaline, he charged at me at me again, with that i dodged it easily and use my hoof to stop him in his gut, he dropped the knife and lost breathe and fell down, with that, my adrenaline disappeared. i turned around, the other two didn’t necessarily seem happy, and they were big, about the same size as me, they grabbed me and threw me against the wall.
“What should we do with him Talon? He got Darksky.” from what I’m assuming was Rough Edge.
“Beat him.” Talon said with a furious face. with that I got smacked around, The Colt was knocked out cold, I had dropped my guitar when Darksky charged at me the first time, so i didn’t have to worry about that. I was thrown to the ground and kicked a couple of times until I got picked up again, then before They decided how to beat me next, I kicked one in the gut, He fell on his knees, catching his breath, with that he dropped me, which gave me time to get my distance, and catch my breath. The other had charged at me, and with that I had dodged towards the left tripped him. While they were on the ground i quickly bucked both of them in the head. I looked at the colt, who was beat up worst than me. I picked him up on my shoulders and carried him to my room, i was tired, by the time i reached my room i laid him on one of the four beds that were in there, there were plenty of rooms and not enough kids.
    I had kept first aid boxes in my room ever since i was bullied, they came in handy a lot of the time, now we both need it, especially him, whoever he is. After cleaning us both up, i had put the blanket over him, hopefully he would be okay, I’m used to patching up myself from my childhood, so i haven’t forgot, good thing too, he needed it. I had fallen asleep afterward.
    I woke up with what seemed to just be two worlds side by side, i didn’t understand it, on one side, the kid that i had helped was crying, and on the other side there was this pony, she seemed happy as i walked towards her, then i woke up.
    It was just a dream, but what was it about? who was that pony? why was the colt that i had saved crying. I really didn’t think about it too much since of what happened yesterday i decided it was probably a bad dream because of how i got beaten up yesterday. I was watching the sunrise, waiting for the little colt to wake up, i still haven’t gotten his name, I’m suppose to be going to meet vocaleero at a local diner, after we eat we’ll go to his house and practice, maybe i can bring him, he is bringing Cloud after all it should be alright.
    I waited for the little colt to wake up, when he did he seemed confused, he sat up, looked around, then at me.
“What happened?” he asked.
“Pretty simple,” i said, “ we got beat up.” with that, he looked at all of his scars, bruises, and cuts, he seemed surprised.
“And you helped me?” he asked. i responded and i told him the story of what happened. I told him about how i wasn’t exactly a fighter, but I did get him out of there.
“I don’t get it, why would you help me? I’m a nopony.” he said. i felt a moment of Deja Vu, I might of thought that same thing when i was bullied when i was younger, sometimes i still do, I still wonder why my parents had never found me and why i had never been taken away from this place.
“I’ve also been bullied like you were, to just watch and ignore is just too much for me, it’s something that no-pony should go through. By the way, my name’s Ampliandam, what’s yours?” I asked him.
“Tagalong,” he said, “ my name’s Tagalong.”
“Hey listen, Tagalong. I’m going to be with my friends today, maybe you could come with me? As long as you're with me, Ms. Carie won’t mind you leaving for a while. What do you say?” I asked him, not like he had much of a choice, he’d either come with me and have a good time or stay here with Dark Sky and his friends. He agreed. Not too surprising. Most of our cuts and bruises had healed overnight, surprising, but it did, we looked a lot better than last night. I told him we were going to go and eat breakfast first, he nodded in agreement and we left the room. When we went to the downstairs when i realized Tagalong had drifted off toward the cafeteria.
“Hey! Tag! Where you goin?” i yelled at him. He raised his head and turned around. I laughed a little. “Come on, We’re going out to eat.” He Followed me with a bit confused faced. We left the orphanage and went to a diner that me and Vocaleero had always went to for breakfast. As we approached the diner i turned around to make sure he was following me.
“My friend Vocaleero is going to be here with his little brother Cloud k?” i said. He nodded his head in agreement. We walked in and Vocaleero and his little brother were already there, I nudged at Tagalong to where they were, he nodded and followed me. We sat down at the table, i realized the Menus weren’t here yet so they weren’t here long.
“How long have you been waiting?” i asked Vocaleero.
“Not long,” he said, “we practically just got here, Who’s he? A new friend? And what happened? You both are covered in bandages.” Vocaleero asked pointing to Tagalong, Tagalong blushed, just how shy was he?
“Yea he’s a new friend, lets just say he needed help with something and i was just walking by when i noticed.” I told him, Vocaleero would like to help people whenever he can, especially something like this, he might put himself in harm.
“Alright but are you both okay?” He asked us.
“Yea, were fine, no need to worry.” I said with a smile There weren’t too many bruises on the face so we didn’t have to worry about concussion. The waiter came up and gave us our menus, she said she’d be back to take our orders. We all looked at the Menus.
“See anything you want Tagalong?” I asked him
“I don’t know, i can’t afford anything.” he said, i laughed.
“Don’t worry about that,” i said, “I’ll pay for it, just think about what you want.” I leaned over a whisper to him, “You should try the pancakes.” i whispered to him. He looked at the menu and thought, since the menu had several different type of toppings i decided to go ahead and look and decide what i should get. He decided to get the pancakes with the blueberries, after we all ate me and Vocaleero split the bill and the tip.
“Wait.” said Tagalong. “You left your money.” I laughed.
“Don’t worry it’s just a tip, it’s when you give extra money to the lady who served us, it’s common courtesy.” With that he had looked behind him and watch the lady pick up the money and put it in her pocket. We all went to Vocaleero’s house, me and Vocaleero were just playing around with the guitar while Tagalong was just playing with Cloud somewhere. He seemed a lot happier with us.
CH.4
    I’m 17 now, My birthday isn’t too far away, i needed to find a place to stay, by the time of my birthday, i’m out. I was looking on the newspaper when i saw a job opening in a town called Ponyville, with that job they were saying that they would also provide a place to stay. This opportunity was almost too perfect to let go, my biggest problem, however, is not getting there... it’s leaving Tagalong. I was always afraid of this day to come, ever since i had saved Tagalong, we became really good friends, i can only wonder what will happen will i leave. I had already called the pony about the job and she decided to hold it for me. I had decided that today be the day i tell Tagalong, he won’t be happy, but i have to tell him ahead of time, i leave tomorrow, but how? I had already told Vocaleero, he told me he just hopes he’ll see me in the future when i leave, i hope so too, I will miss this place.
    I went up to Tagalong’s room and knocked on the door.
“Hey Tag! Tag, it’s me Metaldy, can we talk?” with that he opened the door,
“Sure Ampliandam, come on in.” I walked inside to the middle of the small room, “What did you need to talk about?” He asked.
“Listen Tag, this isn’t easy for me but, you know how when you turn 18 you get kicked out right?”
“Yea.” he said, with a confused face, “What about it?”
“Well,” i said, “I’ve gotten a job in a town called Ponyville.” i said, just like that, his face paused in disbelief. After that he ran out.
“Tag, wait!” I ran after him, I chased him out back and lost him, this isn’t good, i leave tomorrow and I wanted to spend my last day here with him. I searched the back of the building and he wasn’t there. I went to the diner, theatre, park, Vocaleero’s house, and i couldn’t find him. It fell to night time fast, I went up to my room, and wrote a note.:
Dear Tagalong,
I’m sorry i have to leave, I’ll try to visit whenever I can. You were one my my best friends Tag, I was hoping to spend the day with you. I don’t know when you will get this message but please be careful, and remember, don’t be afraid of those bullies, tell Ms. Carie if they do.

    I put the note in an envelope with $20 in it, it’s a moreover way of saying, I’m sorry, i just wish i could've stayed with him today. That night i cried, just a little bit, the pain that i must have put through that kid must of hurt him bad, i feel horrible...
    The next day came by and i had left early in the morning. As i went back to the main room i gave Ms. Carie the note, i told her to make sure this only gets to Tagalong and no one else. I had walked out o my ride to ponyville, i took one last look at the orphanage, and left... Goodbye Tagalong, I will visit you, I promise...
    The ride went bye quick since i decided to take a nap, i wasn’t sure how far i had went but when we stopped at this nearby town the driver said this was it, he was nice enough to give me directions to the house. The house was a bit odd indeed, it was a mixture of a tree and an actual house, oh well, seems cozy. I went up to the door and knocked on the door,
“Who is it?” said the pony on the other side,
“Ampliandam, the person for the work.” i said back.
“Oh hold on i’ll be right there!” She whispered like yelled to the door. The door opened revealing a pony that had a pink mane. She stared at me like she was star struck.
“A-are you okay miss?” i asked her.
“Metaldy?” she said confused.
“Huh?”....
