Caring And His Broken Horn Mystery
What Happened To My Horn!?
Caring wakes up on the ground in Ponyville. For some reason he only remembers he was taking a stroll in Ponyville then suddenly things went blank. "What happened? Why was I taking a nap on the ground? I guess I'll just go home. Wait! Why can't I use my horn?" Caring runs to a puddle of water and sees something that shocked him from the head down to his legs. "My horn! What happened to it?" Luckily for Caring, a mare came by and saw what was wrong.
"Darling, what happened to your horn?" She runs up to him and hugs him.
"Oh it was terrible! I was taking a nice and peaceful stroll through Ponyville when suddenly I can't remember what happened to me and I look at myself and I notice my horn is broken and I don't even know what happened to it!" Caring tells the mare.
"We should get you to the hospital right away, you dear." She looks around for somepony to help. "Do you know where the hospital is? I don't."
"I know where it is. Follow me."
"Ok." She follows him and puts her wing around him for support. "I almost forgot. What is your name?"
"Caring Slash. Yours?"
"I'm Glamour Swirl. It's nice to meet you Caring."
"You too."
Later..........
Caring and Glamour get to the hospital. "Ok. Were here."
Glamour flys over to the help desk. Hello! Is anypony here?"
Caring notices a mare and tries to get her attention. "There's one over there. Hey! Hello!" Caring waves his hoove around in the air to get the ponies attention.
The mare noticed and heads over to them. "Yes. How may I help you?"
Glamour starts to explain. My friends horn has been snapped. Could you please please please help?"
"Sure. Follow me." Caring and Glamour follow her. "How did this happen?" The mare asks.
"I was taking a nice and peaceful stroll through Ponyville when suddenly I can't remember what happened to me and I look at myself and I notice my horn is broken and I don't even know what happened or how it happened."
"Did you see any of this happen miss?"
"My name is Glamour Swirl and this is Caring Slash. No I didn't see anything. I was flying by and I saw his horn was snapped."
"Okay. The thing I can do do for you right now." The mare points at Caring. "Is to put you into a hospital room."
"Ok. Thank you."
"Follow me." The mare leads the way. The mare opens a door to a room for Caring and motions him to go in. "Please take a seat."
"Ok." Caring goes in and sits down.
The mare stops Glamour. "Sorry miss Glamour, you can't come in."
"Why!?"
The mare points at her horn. "Unicorns only." The mare walks into the room and closes the door.
"So how are you going to do this? Will I be able to use my horn again?"
"Yes you will. Just let me get something real quick." The mare walks over to a cabinet with a evil smirk on her face.
"How are you going to do this? I'm really curious."
"Oh, you'll see." The mare flashes Caring a creepy grin.
"Uh.....okay." Caring now looks terrified.
The mare pulls out what looks like a sharp piece of metal and hides it behind her back. She turns around to face Caring.
"What's behind your back?" Caring asks, more scared than ever. "This is not good." Caring says in his mind.
"Fine then!" The mare pulls the object out from behind her back. Caring can see it's an assassin's blade and it's covered in a purple substance. "I tried to spare you some time, but if you want to die be my guest!"
Glamour's ears twitch. "Dalton!" Glamour rushes to the door. "Are you okay? What's happening in there?" She tries banging on the door.
Caring starts banging on the door. "Help me! This pony is trying to kill me!"
"Trying? No, I'm going to kill you one way or another."
Glamour tries to kick the door down. "Whatever you do Caring, stay low. It will be harder for her to hit you if your smaller than her."
"Okay." He ducks down. "Try to hurt me now."
"Nice try." The mare says. "But I'm a trained assassin." The mare throws the blade at Caring, but blade bounces off the floor, cutting the mares hoof slightly. "What! I never miss!"
"A trained assassin never misses, your not a trained assassin."
The mare has a angry expression on her face but it disappears into a sad expression as her head drops. Your right.....I'm not a trained assassin." The mare sighs.
Caring sees the look on her and starts to feel bad. "Why are you trying to kill me?" Caring asks out of curiosity.
"Because I wanted to get you before my sister does. I wanted to show my mother......that I could be a great assassin too. If I killed you before my sister does....." The mare starts to cry. Caring goes to comfort the mare and Glamour finally busts down the door and sees the mare crying.
"Wait! Somepony else is trying to get me too!"
Glamour looks at Caring with a confused look on her face. "I thought she was trying to kill..."
"I was." The mare says. "But you guys better leave now. Cause my sister will be here soon....." The mares says sniffling.
Caring thinks for a second. "No! Where not leaving you here. Is your sister more trained than you."
"My sister has been training since she was a little filly. She's a skilled thief, assassin, and......." The mare continues to cry. "She's better than I'll ever be........"
Caring trys to calm down the mare. "I don't mean to be rude but.....has being a assassin worked out for you or is it your special talent. Do you want to do this for the rest of your life?"
"No, I despise killing, I know it's wrong but....." The mare looks out the window. "I have no choice. It's what my mother wants me to do."
"Sweetie, my dad wanted me to be Wonderbolt or be a solo competing flyer, but look at me. I'm a dancer and I enjoy what I do." Glamour says and wraps her wing around the mare for comfort. "You should follow your dreams, not to what your mother wants you do."
"Yes and we'll help you." Caring says and embraces the mare.
The mare embraces Caring and Glamour. Thank you, My name is Winter Blue, I know it's not the best of names.....oh I should fix your horn." Winter uses her horn to fix Caring's horn.
"Thank you." Caring gets prepared.
"No problem, but we have to hurry before-"
"Before what sis?" A mare from behind them enters the room.
"Whose that?" Caring says and starts to panic.
"That is none of your concern." The mare says. Caring and Glamour turn around to see a mare wearing a torn old cloak.
"Sis....."
Caring starts to get angry. "Who are you and what do you want from me!?"
"I thought I said it was none of your concern." The mare smiles. "Time to finish off the job my sister started."
"Not on my watch!" Glamour flys in front of Caring.
"Glamour! What are you doing?"
"What do you think silly?" Glamour smiles at Caring. "I may be a dancer, but that doesn't mean I can put up a fight. Quick save yourself..."
"I can't do that to you Glamour." Caring says. "I don't want you to die because of me. There's got to be another way. But we don't have time to think."
"Enough small talk!" The mare yells out and pulls out a small dagger.
"Do you think that dagger will be enough to kill me?"
"Oh, i'm not trying to kill you Glamour." The mare looks at Caring. "It's him I'm after."
"But why me! What did I ever do to you, did my number come up, was I on your list, or.....wait were you the one who broke my horn?! But if you want to get to me you have to get past my friends."
"Nope, I'm just hungry for blood once and a while, though I do have a list. Yes, I did break your horn and GETTING THROUGH YOUR "FRIENDS" WON'T BE A PROBLEM!!!!" The mare screams.
"Uh oh. Caring ducks behind his friends. "Please protect me guys!"
"Don't worry Caring. Will protect you." Glamour says.
"Ah shut up! No matter what, Caring is going to die. One way or another!"
"Don't you touch Caring!" Winter screams and gets shoved out of the way.
"Leave him alone!" Glamour screams. "Caring watch out!" Glamour gets moved to the side.
"Leave me al-AHHHHHHHH!" The mare stabs Caring all over his body. "STOP IT AHHHHH!"
"Get off of him!" Winter screams and throws the mare off him.
"He outta be dead in the next few seconds." The mare laughs evily.
Glamour and Winter run to Caring to check on him. "Caring! Breathe! Stay with me!" Winter says.
"I-I'm not g-going anywhere a-and if I d-don't make it, t-tell Twilight t-that I l-love h-her." Caring passes out from loss of blood.
"Caring! Stay with us! Don't die on us!" Glamour screams.
Winter puts her hoove on his heart. "Don't worry Glamour. It's okay he just fainted."
"Are you sure? Blood is running all over him and he's got loads of wounds on his chest." Glamour asks.
"He outta be dead. I stabbed his chest a million times ."
"His heart is beating real slowly sis. I think this is the first time you failed to kill somepony." Winter says.
"It is and it won't be the first because I'm going to make sure to stab his heart." The mare gets up and runs over to Caring.
"Sis stop it!"
"What is wrong with you Winter?"
"I've decided to give up on being a killer like you. I'm going to do what I love."
"Mom will be so disappoint on what you're doing. Now move out of the way I need to finish him off."
"No your not! Glamour go get help. I'll hold her off."
"Ok." Glamour runs off to find help.
"Your not going to last long sis. He's going to die and that's final. Even if I have to hurt you to get to him. Now get out of the way!"
"Nooooo sis!"
"Stop right there!" Somepony with Glamour screams. The mare turns around and sees Princess Twilight Sparkle.
"Princess!" The mare screams.
"Get away from them." Twilight says.
"Princess! Help us!" Winter screams.
"Don't worry your- OH MY CELESTIA!" Twilight screams from seeing Caring's bloody body. "Is he dead?"
"No Princess."
"How? He has a million stab wounds."
"I don't know."
"Ok. I'll call the guards so they can take her away."
"Winter! Do something!"
"I'm sorry sis."
"Glamour. Help them up. Winter. Are you okay?"
"I'm shooken up Princess."
"Ok. Glamour put him on the bed I'm going to go get a doctor. Winter come with me."
Later..........
"Is he going to wake up?" Glamour asks.
Caring finally regains consciousness."Ugh.....what where am I?"
"Caring! Your alive!" Winter says and embraces him.
"Ow. Winter. Oh hi Twilight."
"Hi Caring." Twilight embraces him as well.
"Is my nightmare over?"
"I almost forgot. I need to fix your horn." Winter says. Winter fixes Caring's horn with magic.
"Thank you Winter. Thank you all."
You can thank Glamour cause if it wasn't for her my sister would've murdered you."
"Thank you Glamour. Thank you so much."
Glamour gets up and hugs Caring."Your welcome."
"How long do you think I'll be in the hospital Twilight?"
"Due to how many wounds you have. You might be here awhile and I'm surprised.
"That I'm alive. Me too."
"Well that, but do you know how much you've been stabbed?"
Caring looks at his body. "Did I get stabbed all over by body!?"
"Nope. You only got stabbed in the chest multiple times and I'm surprised your still breathing."
"Me too."
"Hey Princess. Can I tell you something?"
"Yes." Winter whispers something in her ear and Twilight gets surprised all of a sudden then walks back over to Caring. "Hey Caring."
"Yeah."
"I didn't know you have a crush on me."
"Wait what!" Caring sees Winter snickering over there. How is he going to explain that.
