Equestria: 1200 hours, 10/10/2219
It was a sunny day in Ponyville where the ponies were doing their daily routines and business. The Friendship Castle sparkled from the sun shining down on it. The Princess of Friendship, Twilight Sparkle was in the library studying about advanced magic abilities.
Twilight was so curious about the foundations of Equestrian society and how its magic originated to form strong friendship, but she also was curious on figuring out the birth of Princess Flurry Heart. The baby was born an alicorn with wings and a horn, something Equestria has not experienced ever in the land's history. Twilight was so fixated on helping her become a good princess for the future.
"Let's see what we have here: Founding of Equestria, History of the Two Sisters, Alicorn Magic Studies. Hmm, what should I start with?" said Twilight as she was searching through the books in the castle library. "I think Alicorn Magic Studies will help me out with this case." She had planned a meeting with Sunburst, the crystaller and magic advisor of the Crystal Empire, to help train Princess Flurry Heart's control with magic.
She was also happy to visit the baby alicorn, since she was the baby's aunt. Twilight soon gathered her books and went down to the train station to go to the Crystal Empire, eager to meet Sunburst and the baby princess.
In the Crystal Empire, Twilight stepped off the train and was greeted by two crystal guards. "Your highness, the princess of the Crystal Empire is awaiting your arrival." they said, Twilight followed the guards to the castle.
Princess Flurry Heart was over 7 months of age and she had learned how to control her alicorn magic, all thanks to Sunburst the crystaller. Not only does he like to be advisors to the baby's parents, but he's also friends with the Princess of Friendship and she was going to help Flurry Heart grow up to be a good princess.
"Well Flurry Heart, your aunt Twilight is coming over to visit. Are you excited?" he asked in a playful and excited tone.
Flurry Heart giggled as she was flying around her crib in joy for Twilight, she was excited to see her aunt.
Twilight soon came into the room and was about to greet Sunburst, but Flurry zoomed faster than you can say 'hello' and hugged Twilight so hard. "Whoa! Someone's very excited to see me." Twilight said, and then hugged back to the baby princess, Flurry giggled and rubbed her cheek on Twilight's
Twilight then put Flurry down and walked over to Sunburst and dropped the saddlebag with the book and writing materials. "Hello Sunburst, how's it going with the princess?" she asked. "She's just beautiful. I enjoy learning so much from her parents as well, but playing with the baby princess makes the days wonderful!" Sunburst replied in a happy tone.
It has almost been a year after the events of the royal crystalling and when Flurry Heart almost froze the Crystal Empire after destroying the Crystal Empire, everyone was excited still to celebrate the baby being a member of the Crystal Empire.
Twilight and Sunburst unpacked the bag and started reading their notes from the previous sessions they did with Flurry Heart; this was done to see how she was improving on her magic. She has improved over the past eleven months since Sunburst became her crystaller, and they have both become close friends.
"Ok, let's see the results. The princess has learned to suppress her magic and can control it by her own control, yet she needs more training to protect herself from future danger." Twilight said.
"Well, she has improved on levitation and has done less damage with her blasts in the past 5 months. As long as we keep this up, she may master her magic in the next 2-3 months." Sunburst said.
"That's good to hear. Aww, my cute little niece is growing up so fast." Twilight said and gave a kiss on Flurry Heart's cheek. "Can't wait for you to be the next princess, now let's get down to business."
Twilight and Sunburst spent about 3 hours helping the baby to learn how she can control her alicorn magic, and they even took her out to play in the Crystal Empire meadows for an hour. They all had a splendid time, and Flurry Heart didn't destroy anything.
Equestria: 1600 hours 10/10/2219
It was getting late and Flurry Heart needed to get to bed, so Twilight packed her things and left Sunburst to put the baby to bed. "That was fun Sunburst, I always love coming over to visit my little princess niece. She's sooooo cute!" Twilight said as she grabbed her bag.
"I enjoyed the visit too; the princess loves to see her aunt every time. By the way, how's Starlight doing?" Sunburst asked. "Oh she's doing fine, she's happy that you can keep in touch with her. I'm so glad that you two are getting back together as good friends." she said. "I'm glad to hear, it's been so long before we met at the crystalling. Well, tell her I said hi." he said. "Will do, bye Sunburst, bye-bye my little pony niece." Twilight replied and took her bags and went out the door.
Since Sunburst was the royal crystaller to the Crystal Empire, he was in charge of caring for the baby princess. He took the tired little princess to her room, tucked her into her little cradle, planted a kiss on her forehead, turned out the lights and closed the door.
Flurry Heart may be an energetic baby, but she knows when she needs her princess beauty sleep. She closed her eyes and prepared herself for a happy dream with her aunt Twilight Sparkle.
Earth: 2000 hours 10/10/2018
It was a very good night, the moon was full and the stars shined brightly in the sky. Not many people were out at this hour because they are usually tired and want to get good sleep for tomorrow, but someone was up at this hour who can't sleep due to what's on his mind.
That someone is me.
My name is gamerking 3539, but you may call me gamerking. I know what you're thinking; that's a weird name for someone, but I like it because it's cool and people should have these cool names that they like.
Anyways, I'm walking down the sidewalk in my black jacket, jeans and sneakers; carrying 2 bags of equipment and a folded up table. I head over the beach that I live near, it's a fun beach to walk by, yet I don't do that much. I soon stopped at a suitable location on the sandy beach, then I opened the table, then opened the bags and unpacked the contents inside. Inside was a camera with a tripod, a microphone, a laptop, an electric charger, 2 flashlights, pencils, erasers, notebooks, pencil sharpeners, extension cords to reach an outlet connected to the power line, and a 6-cord outlet.
It took about 15 minutes, but I finished the set up for a live stream out on the beach for my YouTube channel. I know that sounds weird, but it's cooler than doing it in your room like everyone else, I'm not mainstream with everything you know.
I soon turned on the power for my outlet system, plugged in the cords, activated the flashlights, set up my note-taking materials, the camera, and the microphone to record the live stream. As soon as everything was set up and ready, I activated the system, did a mic test, went onto YouTube to start my live stream.
I had released an update video telling people about the live stream, so I was expecting a good amount of people to expand my channel's reputation online. I was so pumped to do my first live stream when I saved up for the new equipment for my channel, now today was the day to do it.
I activated the live stream and went down to business of doing my fan talks for my fans. "Ok. Testing, testing. Is it picking up good? Can you hear me well?" I asked to the people watching the stream. They replied through the comment system for YouTube live stream, saying it's going good. That was a sign of a good first live stream, so I continued to do my stream.
"Hey everyone! It's me gamerking 3539, and this is my first ever fan talk live stream. Yay! I'm so glad I can do this; not only can I connect with you fellow fans, but I can talk with you all as well, and that's something I'm grateful to do here. Now, let's talk." I said talking to the screen.
I was glad that no one was up to see this happening, that would just be so awkward. "First thing I wanted to talk with you all about is BBRae. I know I talk about it a lot in my videos, but they're my OTP for life and I ain't giving up hope on them. So let's talk, who thinks that they will become a couple? Ok, lots are saying yes, nice."
I kept on talking about BBRae and how me and the other fans appreciate shipping them as a couple, searching Google photos, and what ideas for stories we could write for about 45 minutes, and I responded to the comments people posted on the stream comments. Then I decided to hit another topic.
"Alright, enough BBRae for tonight people. Let's talk about something a bit different, let's talk about My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. I know what you're all thinking, 'What?! Why do you want to talk about ponies and being a brony?!' Calm down people, it's not a big deal. Ok, let's see what everyone is saying right now...Wow! People are going nuts." I said after checking the comments on the live stream. "Anyways, I want to know your opinion on the series and what you like from it. Who's your favorite character? What's your favorite episode? How would you react if it came into our reality?"
I went on talking and responded to these comments for over an hour, giving people ideas for stories of how either the ponies find a way to access Earth or the humans find a way to access Earth.
Earth: 2200 hours 10/10/2018
The live stream was going swell and many people were talking, exchanging ideas to make cool stories for everyone on the Internet to enjoy. It was 10 pm and I was getting a bit tired, so I decided to finish the live stream and head back home. "Ok everyone, I'm so glad that we all came together to chat and share ideas with each other, but I need to get going. I'm very tired right now and just want to get home and-."
Suddenly, something happened.
I heard some weird noise and looked up at the sky, determined that the noise came from up above. There was a star that was glowing in a weird blue shade, and it was glowing intensely. The star looked like it was getting closer, I did nothing but stare at it for a while.
"Uhhhh, something's not right. I'm going to take the camera and show you what's going on, just a second. Let's see... there we go." I said, taking the camera off the tripod and carrying it on my shoulders.
I pointed the camera up to the stars to show the viewers the weird star that I saw. The viewers saw the star and didn't know why I was amazed by the star, they thought it was a normal star.
Then I looked closer at the star through the camera and saw it glow more intensely.
Then it got bigger.
And bigger, and bigger, and bigger.
And then I realized something was wrong with that little star, was it a star? I don't know.
"Oh no, oh no. No! No! No! No! No! No! No! This is bad! I think that's a meteor heading towards to the beach!" I screamed as I head back to the computer to see what the viewers were saying.
The comments were going like crazy, freaking out over the impending light coming from the sky. I kept recording the light and saw it rushing towards me. I didn't know what to do, I just kept standing there with cold feet. Then my instincts kicked in and I took the camera with me and ran away from the table I had set up.
"Ok, this should be a far enough distance from whatever that is." I said to reassure myself and keep calm, or else the entire marina would be up and panicking. Then I looked through the camera to see the light turn into a large rock heading towards the old wharf.
BOOM! CRASH! KABOOM!
The rock hurled into the wharf and destroyed the old concrete ship docked there. (Yes, the ship was made of concrete) The resulting explosion sent me off my own two feet, and the camera somehow still ended up in my hands.
After a few minutes to recover from the blast, I got up to see what the explosion did to the pier. "Ow, that hurt. What happened? Huh? Oh my gosh. What the heck!?" I exclaimed as I recorded the broken ship and burning wharf with a giant meteor inside the center of it. "Jeez, that was brutal. I hope my live stream stuff wasn't destroyed!"
Then I spotted a glowing chunk of the meteor near my table set up, thank goodness the live stream didn't stop. "Oh thank goodness, nothing is ruined. But seriously, what was that meteor?!" My answers were answered when I decided to investigate the chunk of meteor near my live stream set up.
I kept recording the whole thing for everyone on the live stream to see it, I'm surprised that no one decided to call the cops, the Feds, or even the president to get down there and quarantine the place
When I approached the rock, it had a large crack that shined with a glow of sapphire blue. "Wow, this is amazing! I bet there is some sort of weird alien metal inside." My curiosity got the better of me as I placed the camera down to open up the space rock. As I cautiously place my hands on the rock, I surprisingly found that it was cooled down and easy to touch. Then I placed my hands between the crack and opened the rock open to find something amazing inside.
There was a crystal patch located in the rock, apparently this hunk of rock was the core of the meteor that struck the wharf. It had the same sapphire blue glow that I spotted from the sky and it made me feel a bit uneasy, yet my urge to know more forced me to continue to study it.
I went over to the computer to see what the viewers were saying about the meteor and crystal, so I checked the live stream chat and saw over thousands of comments flooding the system, exclaiming about what happened over the past 10 minutes. "Ok, you guys ok watching this? I hope you're ok, I'm fine. At least, I think I am." The viewers wanted me to show it to everyone, but I had different ideas. "Whoa, ok. Let's not go crazy, let's keep this to ourselves to make sure no one throws the world into panic." I said.
Then the crystal started glowing more brightly, so I decided to check it out. "Ok, I'm going to see what's going on with the crystal. If things don't go well, then it's game over for my live stream, and maybe me. Later everyone." I said to the audience as I looked at the stream one more time.
I went over to see the crystal emitting a weird energy around my live stream and me. I reached out and grabbed the crystal with both of my hands to pull it out of the rock, then a loud shrieking noise that sounded like a baby crying pierced my ears and set off a energy blast that knocked me back.
Everything was going dim and I couldn't get up from the blast, then my vision went black.
Equestria: 2240 hours 10/10/2219
Princess Flurry Heart woke up in her royal bed crying, waking up pretty much everyone in the Crystal Empire castle.
Sunburst woke up first and heard the baby's cries, so being the royal crystaller, he went to check on the baby. "Princess Flurry Heart, are you ok? Aw, it's ok, it was just a bad dream. Don't worry, Sunburst is here." he said as he lifted the baby in his hooves and patted her back.
Flurry Heart was still freaking out over her nightmare, it seemed so real to her. Sunburst tried to calm the baby princess down, but to no avail. Luckily, her parents woke up and went to comfort their daughter.
"Shhhh, it's ok my little princess. It was just a dream, it won't hurt you." said Princess Cadence. "What's going on honey? Did Flurry Heart have another bad dream?" Shining Armor said, rubbing his eyes an scratching his head. "Yes Shining Armor, it's just another nightmare. Nothing bad is gonna happen." she replied. "I know honey, but it's much more difficult to deal with it because. Well, she has enough power to break all windows after a nightmare." he said. "Oh don't worry, Sunburst and Twilight are dealing with her magic surges and she has caused less damage than before Sunburst came to help." she said, reassuring her husband to calm him down.
"I understand, but I worry for our daughter." he said. "There's nothing to worry about, our daughter will be ok." she replied.
"Ugh, mama. Mama!" Flurry Heart said, squirming in her mother's arms. "What is it Flurry Heart? It's ok, you're safe." Cadence said.
"He, he, no! Mama! Dada! No!" Flurry Heart cried out as she looked back on her nightmares, horrified of what she saw. "Shh, it's ok baby. You're safe here, mommy and daddy are here for you." Cadence said to her baby and kissed her cheek. "I'll put her to bed, everyone else go get your rest."
Cadence went to Flurry Heart's room and placed her into her crib, singing her a lullaby. Flurry Heart started to calm down and getting a bit sleepy. Cadence wrapped her in the blanket, placed a kiss on her forehead, and left her to sleep.
Flurry Heart opened her eyes and wasn't ready to sleep, her consciousness was still wondering what was the creature she saw.
Earth: 2330 hours 10/10/2018
I opened my eyes and waited until my vision stopped being blurry, my sense were on high alert when I realized what happened. I remembered what happened. The live stream, the meteor, the crystal, the crying baby.
I tried to get up, but my body was sore on the sandy beach. I wanted to check out the crystal again to see if I can pick it up, so I got up slowly until I can crawl. "Ouch! Ah, ok. What happened? Hah! The crystal!" I exclaimed, trying to regain my senses. I started to crawl back to the meteor core and found the crystal still inside.
The crystal patch in the broken meteor core stayed inside, despite my struggle to get it out. I regained my strength and carefully placed my fingertips on the crystals, hoping it wouldn't zap me.
I squinted my eyes as I touched it, but nothing happened. I opened my eyes and sighed in relief, I could safely grab the crystals now.
I gathered all my might and pulled out the crystals, then CRACK! I pulled and fell on my back, holding the crystal in my hands. "Yes! I did it, the crystal is mine!" I said and jumped up and kept jumping in victory, but then I stopped.
This was all too weird, and it's so crazy to comprehend. I couldn't let anyone figure it out, otherwise people will know what happened and that I was here out at night. And most importantly, I couldn't let the crystal patch fall into the wrong hands, civilians or governments.
"Ok, what do I do? Where do I hide this? No one is gonna believe me! Wait, I bet people are calling the Feds about this meteor. I gotta get out of Dodge, ASAP!" I said, panicking of what to do next with the crystal.
I went back to my live stream set up and found it shut down due to the crystal's energy blast, yet that didn't stop me from packing up my stuff to get back home.
I took the sapphire crystals and put them into one of my bags, along with my note-taking materials, tripod, and flashlights. Then I placed in my electronic equipment, gathered up the cords and put that away in the second bag. I folded up my table and took my stuff with me to head back home.
"Alright, I got my stuff. I hope that my parents aren't mad at me for being gone too long." I said as I looked around to make sure no one was around, then I went on back to my home. I couldn't believe what happened to me, I just hope no one will figure out what I took.
"I swear on my life that I will devote all my time to figure out what is this crystal is and what it can do, and what I experienced back there. This is the best day of my life!" I said and walked away from the beach and back to my home.
