This is a fimfiction fanfiction and an unofficial sequal to Moguera's Savage Skies series (First Part - Foal of the Forest) with a little Vampire: The Masquerade crossover sprinkled in.

I highly recommend to read Moguera‘s stories first to fully understand certain aspects I use in mine.

It would be an understatement to say that a lot had happened since Dawn Lightwing left his self-induced exile in the Everfree Forest to begin a new life. There were a lot to overcome: assassins, the Noble Court, the Cult Solar, the shadows from the past. But thanks to his (adoptive) mother Fluttershy, Scootaloo and his friends he succeeded. But despite all his achievements the peaceful times didn't last forever.

There was an upcoming disturbance at the borders to Equestria, an old long-forgotten threat no pony had seen before. What was its intention? What would it do here? It's up to Dawn and his friends to find out.
