Cadance and Shining Armor were visiting Ponyville for a little while and Twilight couldn’t have been happier. She went all out with the welcoming, making sure to gather up whatever would make the married couple’s arrival more welcomed.

“I had mom mail over some stuff from your room,” Twilight continued, “I went ahead and organized mostly everything, but there was this one box left over.” Twilight levitated a cardboard box into the air. The plain looking box’s flaps showed signs of being opened multiple times, now bearing a long strip of packing tape to seal it’s contents in. “Want me to help you sort through it?”
Shining Armor’s face flared up red as his body language because twitchy. “No need for that!” he quickly forced out with a squeak in his voice. He hastily took the box in his own magical aura, floating it away from his sister. “Y-you’ve already done so much. I can take it f-from here. You should take a break!”
Twilight paused, tilting her head with a puzzled look on her face. Shining tried to act natural as his sister stood there in silence. “Well alright then,” she finally said, “I’ll leave you to it then.” And with that, the purple alicorn left her brother’s room, quietly shutting the door behind her.
Shining remained absolutely still, daring not to make a single sound. His mysterious box continued to float beside him as he waited. He watched to make sure Twilight wasn’t returning as he listened for any other hoofsteps. With the coast clear, he let out a big sigh as a smile grew on his face.
“Alone at last!” the stallion exclaimed, plopping the cardboard box on his bed. Shaking with anticipation, Shining cut through the strip of packing tape, opening up the container with excitement.
Inside the box rested relics of a time long before he joined the royal guard. Among the various items rested a half full package of adult diapers.
