Surprise Drive

"Holy crap, Chou Deadheat is so awesome!"

Choukichi Jackson looked at his monitor in awe, he was watching Kamen Rider Drive: Surprise Future,

He watched as Drive activated the Dead Zone, a technique in which he overclocks his body, gaining a huge power boost and emitting steam from his body.

"This. Is. Amazing!" Choukichi threw fake punches at his monitor, one of them accidentally connecting with his huge monitor. "Baka..." Choukichi slapped his forehead in idiocy and paused the episode, the monitor's screen was slightly indented but otherwise fine.

"Gomenasai, Monitor-sama..." Choukichi patted the top of the monitor and gave it an apologetic look, not realizing his Japanese was completely incorrect. Behind the monitor, he saw his DX Mach Driver and Tridoron Key. "Oh hey, I found you two, it only took a week!" Choukichi said, a bit upset with himself for not finding his toys in such an easy spot.

He held the Driver and Tridoron Key in his hands. "Man, it would be so cool if I could actually transform with these, too bad this is real life!" Choukichi chuckled, and put the toys down on his desk.

"That's odd, I'm having a weird feeling, as if I'm forgetting something importaaaan- OH JESUS CHRIST!" Choukichi looked at the clock in his PC, it was 2:30 PM, and he was late for preparing to go to a Kamen Rider convention a mile away from his house!

After showering for a few minutes, Choukichi donned his handcrafted Chou Deadheat Drive suit, which somehow he had the common sense to make. "Man, this sucks..." Choukichi looked down sadly, one of the parts of the helmet popped out of place from this movement. "Agh, baka!" He popped it back into position, and put on the Mach Driver, the Tridoron Key already inserted.

"Alright, to the convention!" He ran outside and hopped onto his bike, zooming towards the building where the convention was being held.

Surprisingly, he made it on time.

"Wow, I'm a minute early!" Choukichi happily kicked upwards, hitting a stray bird. "Oh..." He looked down at the bird, its neck contorted in different directions.

Choukichi awkwardly put his bike in the bike rack set up at the front of the giant building and turned towards the door in excitement. "This, is going to be excellent!"

As soon as he walked in, he was overwhelmed by everything. The amount of people scared him, as there were a ton of them! Everyone had their own costumes, dressed up as Riders or various Kaijin. Everything was beautifully decorated with Rider-themed decorations. "I don't know whether to be afraid or happy..." Choukichi carefully made his way through the crowd, a little spooked.

"Maybe I can buy something!" Choukichi looked at his wallet, he had fifty dollars on hand. "I do want a few Shift Cars and Signal Bikes..."

He looked around, and saw a nearby merchant selling Drive merchandise. "Perfect!" Choukichi made his way to the stand, which was being run by a beautiful lady with blonde hair.

"Hey there, want to buy something?" She said, smiling.

Choukichi stared in her blue eyes blankly for a few seconds, entranced by her appearance.

"Uh, d-do you h-h-have any S-s-shift Cars or Signal B-b-bikes?" He asked, hiding his face.
"Of course!" She grinned, pulling out a metal briefcase filled with the small cars and bikes.
"H-h-h-h-h-h-how m-mu-?" The girl put her index finger over his mouth and shushed him.
"It's ok, no need to be afraid!" She chuckled, patting his head, which nearly made him faint.

"Yes ma'am..." He squeaked.

"The Shift Cars individually are two dollars, same with the Signal Bikes!" She cooed.
"Hmm, any holders?" He asked, slightly comfortable with the older woman now.
"The holder for the Shift Cars and Signal Bikes are ten bucks!" The lady answered.

"Hmm, I'll buy the holder and these..." Choukichi took out Max Flare, Midnight Shadow, Funky Spike, Shift Speed Prototype, Mad Doctor, and-" He was cut off by the woman handing him the entire bag full of the little toys and the holder.

"Just take all of them, and to sweeten the deal..." She rubbed his shoulders and smiled, "I'll cut the price in half, 25 dollars is your total!"
Choukichi, in his panic attack from being touched by an older girl, managed to hand her the money and take the merchandise, before walking away.

"Oh wait, I forgot Max Flare..." He walked to the stand again and picked up the orange Shift Car, admiring the vibrant orange color. "Eh, why not?" Choukichi put on the holder.

Looking in the bag, he took out: Max Flare, Midnight Shadow, and Funky Spike. He put them in the holder, the toys snug in their slots. "Perfect, too bad these don't actually work and are just toys..." He sighed, and started walking away.

Choukichi felt a cold presence and was frozen in place. He tried to scream, but failed...

The woman that gave him the toys popped up in front of him, her eyes glowing a deep purple. "I can make them real, for you..." She cooed, emitting a shadowy aura out of her hands and waving them over his face, knocking him out...

"C'mon Applejack!" Rainbow Dash shouted, flying towards the center of Ponyville.

"I'm coming partner!" Applejack huffed, running as fast as she could!

"Ugh, another one of those darn critters!"

They zoomed past rubble and ponies flying around in chaos, finding Twilight and Rarity already engaged in battle with an odd-looking machine, it had a red neck, a skull for a head, scales on its legs, and an emblem that read "084" on its chest. They shot magical blasts at it, but it simply held out its fingers, which were shaped like barrels for a gun, and it shot back, deflecting the energy blasts!

Twilight barely managed to conjure up an energy shield in time, blocking the blasts, but one of them broke through and hit Rarity in the leg! "RARITY!" Spike cried in anger, running up to her and looking at her in pain, but angrily turning towards the monster and shooting out a blast of fire from his mouth, which did knock it back a bit.

"Hmph, not good enough!" The machine charged and grabbed the baby dragon by the neck. Spike's skin and scales started to turn a bright crimson slowly, he fainted and was thrown next to Rarity once he was completely colored in a crimson hue.
"THAT DOES IT!" Twilight shot a barrage of energy beams at the machine from her horn, Applejack and Rainbow Dash coming in to attack the machine alongside her.
"HAH, PATHETIC!" The machine shouted and emitted a red wave from its body, slowing everyone down to the point of not being able to move! "What in tarnation?!" Applejack slowly tripped and rolled onto the ground, scared.
"We can barely, what the hay?!" Rainbow Dash screeched, barely stopping herself from tripping.
"Now, to kill all of you pathetic PONIES..."
"We need help!" Twilight lit up her horn and released a small wave that covered her in a small dome, and levitated herself towards Spike.

She covered him in the dome as well and managed to give him a quill and paper. "We need help, send a message to Cele-"

"HENSHIN!" A voice boomed, the ponies and machine turned to identify it, but witnessed a bright red figure emitting smoke running towards them, hiding whoever they were.

"SIGNAL BIKE, SHIFT CAR! RIDER: CHOU DEADHEAT!"

After a guitar riff played, the figure charged the machine and punched it in the face, knocking it into a nearby building with incredible force. The Mane Six looked on in surprise at the appearance of the figure, before realizing that they were back to normal and could move around normally.

Red was the most dominant color and it was apparent the figure was wearing a suit of armor. The armor looked smooth yet bulky, and there were hints of black in there. Two pipes were wrapped around the neck part of the armor. Across the waist was a blue belt, with a flat piece of black plastic in it. The belt itself had a black buckle and was blue. The helmet of the armor had bug eyes that seemed to be made of some type of textured glass. On its leg, was a holder of some sorts that had three colored objects on it.

"Roidmude 029, he hasn't evolved yet?..." The figure whispered, confused. Twilight's ears perked up in curiosity.

The humanoid figure turned to the ponies and quietly said, "Um...". The voice sounded was young, masculine, yet indicated a hint of shyness.

Clearly, it didn't have anything to say.

The figure turned back and saw 029 charging at him, furiously. It simply blocked its onslaught of punches and slammed it's palm into the chest of 029 before shoving him anyway, but was caught off guard by 029's finger guns and was blasted back into a building.

"What the?..." The armored figure looked into a small piece of glass that was next to where he got knocked back into, and noticed something peculiar about his armor...

"I thought it was supposed to be more rugged, black, and have metal in the right side of the helmet!" The figure rubbed its hands around the helmet.

"Weird!"

It looked back towards 029 and charged, deflecting any finger blasts with its hands and punched him away.
"Hmmm, I wonder..." The armored hero took out an orange piece of plastic that was shaped like some kind of machine! It took out the black piece of plastic and replaced it with the orange piece.

"SHIFT CAR! TIRE KOUKAN: MOERL!"

The armored figure focused for a few seconds and shot out a small fireball at 029, who was blown back and experienced great pain as sparks flew off of its chest.

"I think I should finish this now...."

The figure took out the orange piece of plastic and inserted the black piece of plastic back into his belt. He pushed up on the belt, revealing a small panel which held the black piece of plastic, pressed a big white button on top of the belt, and pushed the panel back down.

"HISSATSU! FULL THROTTLE: CHOU DEADHEAT! "

"Shouldn't it have said Burst Full Throttle?"

The armored figure's armor glowed a bright red as he charged towards 029 and punched him in the chest and knocking him back.

"I WILL...RETURN!!!"

029's machine body exploded, with silver numbers that depicted "029" floating away from the explosion.

The ponies and armored warrior stood silent for a few seconds, before Twilight walked up to him...
"Who are you?...What are you?" She asked, her eyes wide.

The armored figure took out the black plastic out of his belt and turned to her, his armor disappearing. The being was masculine and resembled some kind of mature, evolved chimp, but no fur or tail. He wore a blue robe, grey shirt, and black pajamas. He backed away slightly, his eyes slightly widening in anxiety and fear at the sight of the ponies in front of him.

"M-my name is Choukichi Jackson..." He whispered, "But you can also c-call me...Kamen Rider Drive."
