I thought to myself. The bees are buzzing, the birds are singing their merely little songs. Nothing could go wrong today. I continued walking down my usual morning path. I said, “[Good morning Tom].” I said to my friend the forest deer. Tom replied, “[Good morning]” I continued on my morning walk bidding Tooth the timber wolf, “[Good Morning]” “[Tis indeed]” Tooth replied in a very proper manner. I then continued on my way down the path. I had walked a good mile or two and now I was approaching the forbidden field. The forbidden field wasn’t dangerous just a field of blue flowers that will cause all sorts of trouble for you, but a good laugh for everyone else. Most animals called the flower poison joke. It was my job to help those who fall victim to the flowers magic. As I approached the field I noticed that something was off. There was no tweeting from the birds, no bee was buzzing. It was quiet, too quiet for my liking. I had reached the edge of the forbidden field. As I scanned the area looking for any animals that were wandering the field I saw what looked like a bunny jump across the field then disappeared in the flowers. I couldn’t catch its scent though. It either had no sent, or the poison joke was playing tricks on me. I sat down in the grass watching for it to jump again. Instead of what most hunters would do I tried to make myself known to the rabbit by saying aloud, “[I am here rabbit.]” I repeated this line several times until there was no possible way of it not knowing I was sitting there in the grass. *Zap* Something hit me in my chest knocking me to the ground. I could not move because what ever had hit me tied my legs together, and had wrapped a cloth around my muzzle preventing me to cry out for help. I did not struggle against the vine that had tied my legs together. Instead I began to concentrate on heat. As I did my body began to heat up. I concentrated so hard that my body began to light on fire. I did not feel any pain as the fire consumed me. I laid there in the grass as the fire freed me from the vine, and burned the clothe that was around my muzzle. I stood up from the ground and sat back down. I then thought the word, “Cold.” And immediately the fire went out. As I scanned the field again I noticed now that there was a star struck pony staring at me. I spoke in animal tongue saying, “[Your magic will not help you here. If you wish to kill me know that you will not succeed. If you wish to find out why your “tags” are falling off the animals look no further than I.]” I say this because animals have been coming to me to help them get rid of little “tags” that would be hanging by their ears, or strapped around their ankles. The pony only stood there shocked at what just happened, but it never took any notice as to what I said. As I looked closer at the pony I noticed that it had a horn on its head, a dark purple main, light purple fur, wings, and had one of the six gems painted on to its flank. (It’s Twilight for those of you who haven’t guessed it yet.) I sat there in the grass for another five minutes before noticing that there was also a Pegasus flying just above the trees. It had long pink hair, and a light yellow fur. It saw the other pony and came in for a landing next to her. She was also staring right at me, but with bewilderment instead of shocked. (It’s Fluttershy.) I got up on to leave for my way home when my magic started up on its own. I lit on fire, I started floating off the ground, my fur changed to the colors of the rainbow, and my tail started to extend becoming longer and bushier. My tail swung from left to right each time getting longer. It hit a tree to my right knocking a small twig towards me. The fire on my skin caught the twig in midair, but instead of lighting on fire the twig began to pull the fire off of my skin and turned it into a protective sphere around the twig. Just as suddenly as my magic had acted up it shut down. Leaving me completely clueless on what just happened. As I looked at the stick that was now perfectly straight, and smoothed I reached out to pick it up with my mouth when it suddenly floated off the ground, and towards the purple unicorn. Saying in pony tongue, “Amazing, This might have just been the biggest discovery the decade Fluttershy.” Said the purple pony. The Pegasus said in a quiet almost whispered voice, “Not to burst your bubble Twilight, but I think that stick belongs to that Fox.” Twilight said to Fluttershy, “I know, but still we can’t just give this away.” Fluttershy said, “I know it’s really important to you so why don’t you ask the fox for it instead of just taking it.” Twilight said, “Fine, Hey mister fox can I keep the stick.” She paused for only a second, “I don’t hear any objection, Tha-.” “I do not know if you can keep the wand,” I interrupted her, “but you may not keep it.” Both Twilight and Fluttershy stared at me. Completely shocked by what I had just said. I reached out my paw, and concentrated on the wand that the Pegasus was levitating. It suddenly flew out of her magic and into my paw. I then took my other paw and smashed the wand into thin air. I turned to take my leave, and I had only walked about a few feet when I heard a sudden pop, and a flash of light. When the light faded I scanned my surrounding to see what had happened. As I looked around I found myself to be inside of a crystal room. The room was completely empty, but very spacious. She used a teleportation spell on me. But where am I. I thought. I could not see any doors nor could I see any windows in the room. But I was able to hear a very clear female voice yelling, “Twilight are you mad. You just took that fox from his home.” “I know, I know. But he talked. There has never been reported of a talking animal in the forbidden forest.” Another voice said. “And what about me, where have you taken me.” I yelled trying to get them to hear me. “Yes and what about the fox, Twilight, are you going to leave him clueless on what you’ve done, or are you going to tell him.” There was a Popping sound with yet another flash of light as Twilight, and Fluttershy teleported into the room. Fluttershy had the most disgusted face I have ever seen as she gave Twilight the death stare. Twilight only had a frown of annoyance on her face. Just before they could say anything to me, I concentrated on where I heard their voices coming from. And imagined myself there. With a pop and a flash of light I teleported out of the room, and into a crystal hallway with several doors on both sides of the wall. I quickly chose to start running to the right. As I did so I concentrated once again but this time on the air. As I did I could feel my body become as light as air as I ran through the open hallway. How big is this place? I thought to myself. I mean I’ll be at this all day if I don’t find a way out. I turned a corner only to run into two more Alicorns. One had long wavy rainbow colored hair, a pristine white fur, and a crown with a sun on it. While the other had hair that shimmered like the night sky, dark blue fur, and crown with the moon on it. (I’ll let you guess that one.) I quickly jumped over them, and continued on my run. I turned around for only a second to see if they were following me when, BAM. I had run into the wall. I laid on the ground for a few second trying to realize what had happened. As I regained focus I got up on all fours and shook my head trying to clear it. I then leap to the left in a sprint to get away only to find myself not moving an inch. I looked down at the ground which was now a foot or two below me. “And where are you going,” said the alicorn with the sun crown. I stopped running and went into a sitting position. Which looked quiet odd since I was floating two feet off the ground. I looked her straight in the eye and saw something that I had only saw once before, But that was a long time ago. Not knowing if she knew I could speak or not I sat in the air quietly. The sun crowned alicorn said to the other, “Luna do you recognize anything about this animal.” Luna replying, “No, but it does look quite familiar, Tia.” I had only heard those names once before. But that was also a very long time ago. I thought to myself what could be the harm in asking them? I mean what’s the worst they could do to me? “Sister, I do recognize something about him, but I just can’t place it.” Said Luna. I spoke suddenly before Tia could saying, “Hello girls.” Tia and Luna both gasped, but I could tell it was not shock from me being able to speak. But rather a shock of joy, like finding a long lost friend. “Fox” they both said at the same time. “Come on I think he went this way,” a voice yelled from behind Tia and Luna. Suddenly there was a flash of light as once again Twilight alone this time teleported in front of me and the girls. “There you are.” Said Twilight not looking behind her to see Tia, and Luna. “How are you floating like that?” said Twilight puzzled. “I believe that would be my doing, Twilight.” Said Tia. Twilight turning around gasped as she saw that Tia and Luna were standing right behind her. Twilight made a hastily bow and said, “Oh my gosh, I’m so sorry princess Celestia.” “So it’s Princess now.” I said to Tia. “And what about you Luna, any new titles that I should know about.” Tia giggled, and Luna said with a smile, “Yes actually. I too am also a Princess.” "Tia, so, what's with the new hair style." I said, "If I remember correctly, wasn't it pink." "Well it was, but I felt like it had a little old." She said. "Out with the old and in with the new." I said with a wild grin. "Look how much you have both grown. Luna look at you. You were only this tall when I last saw you." I said holding my hand a foot below my head instead of reaching up to my head because of Tia who was still levitating me 2 feet above the ground. Luna blushed as she said, "Yes it has been quite the time since us last meeting each other." Twilight had a face of pure confusion as she said, “wait, and hold on a second.” She paused, “You mean you already know each other.” “Once upon a time we did, but it’s been so long.” I said. Luna chimed in saying, “That was thousands of years ago, before the rain of Discord even.” She paused as a tear trickled down her cheek. “We thought you had died.” “Aw, yes.” I said with a teary eyed smile. “And I thought you dead. I put my paw out in front of me having the souls of my paw towards the ceiling. I focused for a second, and with a flash of light my cloak nicely folded and newly made wand was lying in my hand. Picking up the wand I made a flick with my wrist the levitating stopped and I fell to the ground. "Oh, sorry about that." Said Tia, "I got caught up in the moment." "Nothing to worry about." I said while throwing the black silk cloak over my shoulders. "Still fits like a glove." "Wait, so what up with the cloak." Said Twilight. I said "Well that's a bit more complicated to explai-" "Sweet Cealestia" Twilight said interrupting me. "You. But. What just happened." "That's the tricky part to explain. Tell me Twilight, what dose he look like to you." "A unicorn. An orange unicorn." She exclaimed. "OK, now what about the little things, cutie mark, horn color, ear color, tail, gender. What do you see." Said Luna. "They can't see what I look like right now." I said. "Only ponies who I give permission to can see me as a fox wearing a cloak. But to everypony else I look like what they think is normal. I look almost exactly the same too everyone, but with some small differences. I paused for a second as I saw the gears turning in her head. "So, What do you see." "Well," Twilight started as she scanned my new form. "Your horn is a charcoal black, ears are also tipped a Charcoal black, your mane is a hot pink, your legs are orange, your hoofs though are a charcoal black, you have a flame as your cutie mark, your tail still looks like a foxes, but it's white tipped. Your stomach and chest are a snowy white, and your still a guy. That all that's out of the ordinary." "And the only thing that will change is weather or not people see my coat with different shad of orange, or white. But nothing to big." I said. "So only Luna and Celestia can see you as a fox." Twilight said. "Well, and a few others." I said. Tia and Luna made a confused face at what I had said. "What do you mean a few others?" Said Tia. "Well a few forest friends, and Discord." I paused, "speaking of which where is the little devile. You three never went anywhere without each other." "Well a lot has changed in the time we've been apar-." Celestia was cut short by an door suddenly appearing door. As it opened up Discord walked through it and said with a smile, "Did somepony say my name." "Speak of the devil," I said looking up at Discords head. "And who might you be?" Discord said to me as he turned around. He gave me a puzzled look. "Do I know you?" "Well I would hope so," I said with a smile a mile wide. Discord looked at me as if I just said something very offensive. "Oh, I didn't realize you were that important." "Discord, what do you mean, it's me Fox?!" I said. Author's Note Sry for not making it a long chapter. My name is Fox. I’m a literal red tailed Fox. I grew up and live in the Ever free Forest. I’m not as small as most Foxes though. I’m actually as big as a pony. I can talk the language of all the animal’s, and despite being a fox. I’m capable of using magic. I won’t tell you anything about it because I would spoil the fun in the story. I am friendly to all creatures and give them their space. My race might be carnivore, but I was different. I could eat whatever I want. Be it a berry or a rock, a bird or a worm, and even the strongest of rubies I could eat. Eventually as I grew and discovered I could eat whatever I wanted. My family saw me as a… Bad omen. They through me out and forced me to live on my own. I struggled with finding a permanent shelter at first. But I eventually found a good den to call my own. I made friends with the local animals both hunter and prey. I even helped two Alicorns find six sphere shaped rocks that were being held in a tree. Eventually years had went by after I had settled down. Many of my animal friends died of age as I knew they would, but I lived on. The forest changed around me, it grew darker, the animals grew bitterer towards each other, and new plant and wild life called the forest home. I was still found myself as a friend to all creatures in the end. In the past decade, or so. I have noticed strange things happening just outside the forest. Once the moon was up for a full day. I’ve only seen something like that once before. It rained a sticky dirty water only a few months later. A few years later a changeling friend of mine was rambling on about a failed attempt to take over the land outside the forest. I watched six ponies put six oddly shaped gems in the tree that was growing in a cave. And just a year had past when a small shriveled up merchant took what magic I had for it to only return after a week or so. Around the time my magic had returned an earthquake shook the earth, and animals that visited the land outside the forest claimed it to be a giant crystal castle that came right out of the ground. And just a few days ago the few dragons that I know that live in the forest said that they were being summoned by the dragon lord, and left me to guard their hordes of treasure. Now that you are caught up on where and what my life is like. You should know that in the time I have lived in the forest I have never left the forest. I never had the reason to leave. I knew that ponies had claimed the land, and were ruled by monarchy. But that is all I knew. Author's Note When I say I looked like I was 6 year's old. That also means act's like a six year old. I found this out by watching a video on the fall of discord. no matter what an immortal age is what they look like tells their true age.
