Twilight had opened the Academy of her dreams, with Princess Celestia's seal of approval, where all races of Equestria may come to learn about magic and other arts they may wish to learn, without having to worry about stereotypes. Her friends were able to fill in some of the slots, as professional instructors, while Twilight managed to find qualified instructors to teach other, more difficult, courses within her Academy. However, she had a signal course where no professor was qualified to teach... The youngest of the Equestrian Princesses nearly gave up on trying to locate an instructor to teach the "Defense Against Dark Arts and Entities" Course, to better help protect Equestria in the future.

That is, until eleven beings appeared. After the discovery between both sides, and a long conversation between the arrival's leader and the Princess of Friendship. They both reached an accord. While their leader taught the course, the other ten will safe guard the Academy and its student. During this time, Princess Twilight will also try to help and figure out if there was possibly a way for them to return home.

Can the Academy survive their new Professor's harsh, hands on, course in protecting themselves? Or will nothing but dust remain?
