//-------------------------------------------------------// The Force of Nature and The Element of Kindness -by AJoltOfDapper- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// The Element of Destruction and The Element of Kindness //-------------------------------------------------------// The Element of Destruction and The Element of Kindness -Ponyville- The Force of Nature exhaled deeply, his gaze shifting to Princess Luna's full moon as he re-positioned himself on the hillside. His mind swirled around what Xenilla had said to him about being irresponsible and reckless while fighting the male MUTO before his thoughts transitioned to the parasitic beasts in question. Painful memories of his mother and father dying to the claws of a MUTO pack, watching them die right before his eyes, welled them with tears. "I'm sorry, Mom and Dad," the deep green kirin whispered, squeezing his eyes shut as tears ran off of his cheeks. "I don't know what I'm doing anymore." To make matters worse, his love for the first being he met upon Equestria, the Element of Compassion, Fluttershy, held him under its wing... Its feathery, yellow wing. She had cared for Lucky, protected him (or at least tried), and comforted him after he stormed from the courthouse after his outburst days earlier. And it didn't help that whenever he tried to bring it up to somepony, the words he wanted to say just stuck to the roof of his mouth. It even happened when he tried telling Mothra, the most understanding being that the kaiju had the courage to talk to. It was then that the light beat of wings rang in Lucky's ears, a swift wave of panic washing over the kirin at the realization that he had been crying. The stallion quickly wiped the tears from his cheeks, making his best attempt at acting as if nothing was wrong. "Hello," the massive stallion heard, freezing every muscle in his body as if struck by Kiryu's Absolute Zero weapon used to freeze monsters. Fluttershy elegantly acquainted her hooves to the soft hill grass underhoof, walking up to Lucky's left side. The kirin choked down a breath of air, trying desperately to think of something to say. Finally, a jittery response exited his throat. "H-hello," he stammered, turning his head away from her to hide the fact that he had been crying. The yellow Pegasus tried a new approach to the situation, shifting her gaze to the moon. "Would you look at that moon! Princess Luna really outdid herself this time, wouldn't you agree?" she asked with a soft smile. He didn't answer. A worrisome frown crossed Fluttershy's delicate face. Standing up, the Element of Compassion circled around to Lucky's front side and let herself fall to her haunches, gazing up at his partially scarred face. His cheeks were tinged scarlet, the glimmer of the moon revealing them to be wet. His ears were also laid back, brows furrowed with visible sadness. Something wasn't right about his demeanor. Lucky was normally serious or emotionless. This was the exact opposite of emotionless. "I'm fine, it's nothing," Lucky explained, noticing the worry across her face. If there was anything that Fluttershy had learned from inter-dimensional beings, it was that there was always something. A miracle, it would be, for that nothing to be an honest answer. The Element of Kindness lifted a delicate hoof to his cheek, feeling the wetness that she was sure to be tears... His muscles became stiff and reluctant to do anything more than allow his breath. "You kaiju think that you're so big and tough... But truthfully... You're nothing but a big softie in need of somepony to love," Fluttershy murmured, peering into his amber and yellow eyes and gently wiping tears from his face. Lucky's vision blurred and eyes watered before he finally loosened his muscles some, allowing himself to speak. "I was little when those things came and killed my family," he whispered, a droplet of water dripping off of his chin. "I was the only to survive them that day." The kirin stallion rubbed his eye with the palm of his clawed foot. "And then... I get sucked into this world of magic ponies and meet you," Lucky said, quiet sobs vaguely audible in his voice. "But no monster deserves you." Fluttershy was both touched and heartbroken by the kaiju-convert's words, almost finding herself crying. "Lucky, you're not a monster," she protested softly, taking one of his clawed feet into her hoof. "Most would disagree. The only reason I'm accepted among your kind here is because I look like one of you... And even then your species shoots me a skeptical glance," the stallion replied. "Bud, you can't keep beating yourself up over something like this. It is not your problem to deal with... It's theirs. If they can't see the gentle, sensitive pony that I see than the heck with them!" Fluttershy lectured, jumping into the air and placing a hoof against his chin. Her voice was firm, yet soft, and to some extent, even comforting or calming. Almost motherly... "Besides, it doesn't matter to me what they think... I still love you all the same," she cooed, her voice softening as she spoke the words. Lucky cocked an ear and gazed into her teal eyes, his pupils dilating. "You... you do?" he said quizzically, lifting the corner of his mouth slightly. Fluttershy nodded, blushing as Lucky lifted and gentle claw to her cheek and scooted forward, positioning the other around her delicately curved waist. The Pegasus mare's wings skipped a beat at the contact. It was at this moment of embrace that Fluttershy did something that laughed into the face of her shy reputation, defying everything her friends thought that they knew about her. The Element of Compassion's eyelids dropped as she slowly leaned forward, placing a gentle hoof to his shoulder, and locked her lips with Lucky's, wing beats slowing slightly. The stallion's muscles momentarily contracted before falling loose, his shoulders sagging and eyes slowly hidden by his scaled lids. Lucky's tail wagged slightly as he graciously returned the gesture, pulling Fluttershy into his arms with a hoof around her neck. https://camo.derpicdn.net/c150a19bd6f0e1719657ac67d7c4101358374831?url=http%3A%2F%2Fpre07.deviantart.net%2Fd726%2Fth%2Fpre%2Fi%2F2016%2F111%2F9%2F9%2Fthe_force_of_nature_and_the_element_of_kindness_by_pyrus_leonidas-d9zr60a.jpg The steady set of wing beats had gone all but unnoticed to the two as they kissed. Rodan gazed up at the scene, a smile visible across his beaked muzzle. "Congrats, Lucky... You finally found something worth chasing across the ocean," the kaiju gryphon whispered. With that, her turned around, spread his wings, and returned to the air. Fluttershy gently pulled her lips from the kaiju kirin, smiling warmly as she turned and set herself down on his lap, her soft, feathery wings pressed up against his chest. The Element of Compassion craned her head up and around with a sheepish smile, lifting her hoof and tickling the stubble of his chin before kissing Lucky's cheek, feeling the stallion compassionately put his arms around her waist. "I hope you liked that," Fluttershy sighed, staring into his eyes. The normal slit, snake-like-pupils dilated, giving him a less reptilian and almost intelligent appearance. The Force of Nature nodded. "I didn't think making out with an equine would actually be enjoyable," he murmured, giving her a light squeeze. "I'm glad you found it so," the Pegasus mare acknowledged, her eyelids dropping slightly, joining her head and wings. "I love you... my little Flutter," Lucky whispered with a soft smile as she nuzzled her head under his chin and slipped into a sound sleep. A joyful tear-not sad, ran off of his cheek. The stallion gently stroked her downy feathers as she slept, attempting in vain to keep his own eyes open as he gazed at the moon, looking up at the surrounding stars. "Thanks, Dad," Lucky whispered as he slowly fell asleep, the feeling of Fluttershy's soft lips still fresh against his. Memories of the happy moments he surprisingly still possessed of his parents danced in the forefront of his mind as he slumbered... his first love lightly snoring in his lap. //-------------------------------------------------------// Force of Nature and Element of Kindness Ver. 2 //-------------------------------------------------------// Author's Note Yes, I know... Another version... I had to do it considering Lucky's personality change, though. Force of Nature and Element of Kindness Ver. 2 -Ponyville- The tremendously sized, green-grey kirin shifted himself upon the hilltop, his thoughts swirling in his mind like a hurricane, all of which too fast for him to catch all but glimpses. He could see his father, Godzilla Junior, Fluttershy... The hurricane died, ceasing nearly the instant that the Element of Kindness was visible to his subconscious. A small smile slipped across Lucky Dragon's muzzle as he entertained his thoughts. He knew what joy was, though he seldom felt it. In spite of this, he recognized the feeling from the times that he was able to relax on Solgell with his cousin or when he let all of the anger seep from his body like a sponge when he told Fluttershy about his family. It was a different feeling that had lodged itself in his thermonuclear heart that The Ancient was having a hard time figuring out. He hadn't felt it since his parents were alive, and even then it hadn't made a dramatic effect on how Lucky viewed things. Now, though... Now he feared for the safety of a being he had no blood relation to. The kirin stallion stared in stoic silence up at Princess Luna's full moon, feeling a tear slip down his cheek at the remembrance of his parents. Lucky felt lost, insignificant... Hopeless. Xenilla's words, whether he was attempting to speak them in a non-threatening manner or not, were starting to rub off on him. Was he truly a Guardian Beast? It was a question that The Ancient found himself asking more often with every passing minute, every passing hour. What was worse was the former-kaiju's affection for the Element of Kindness. He was a god amongst kaiju! He wasn't supposed to have romantic feelings! Every nerve in his body was telling him not to get comfortable in Equestria... He was needed on Terra, and yet... and yet... Here he was, dueling with his subconscious and the words of his father to avoid falling in love. "I... I'm sorry," he choked, looking to the heavens above as if searching for his family "I let you down, Father... I can't do this," Gojira growled through clenched teeth. "There is no need to apologize, My Son," a familiar voice acknowledged. "You have not let me down. You have brought a life of peace to those who needed it most." With that, a glimmering figure came to his son's side. A robust earth kirin with brown chest scales and dark green-grey fur, side burns growing from his spiny mane. Looking his form over, the spirit spoke with a smile. "So, this is what being a quadruped feels like?" The Ancient's father said as another kirin came to Lucky's left. It was a mare that looked like a carbon copy of the stallion to her far right, only with all the factors that make a mare. "You have made us proud... For you to think yourself a failure is like giving up all that you have worked to keep safe," she said softly, walking to face her son and lifting his chin with a smile. As she spoke, Lucky's father came to her side and put an arm around her shoulder, hugging his life-mate with a smile. "Do not let our deaths go in vain... Gojira, you are the balance, the protector. Just as we once were. Let not our memories fade, but prosper." The kirin stallion cracked a small smile as a tear slipped off of his cheek. "As for the mortal, My Child, you are a guardian. So do this much... and keep her safe," the Alpha Predator's mother smiled, embracing the kaiju beside her. "I love you." Lucky looked to his parents as their forms became shrouded in a glimmering blue vail before disappearing. The stallion dipped his head with a sigh before the sound of gentle wing beats became apparent to his left. The stallion lifted his head, now aware of the tears that had stained his cheeks and part of his beard. Quick to wipe them away, Lucky swiveled his head to the right as to avoid being seen in such a state as this. "Hey," Fluttershy said softly as she acquainted her hooves with the earthen ground beneath, a small smile slipping across her muzzle. The tremendously sized kirin before her didn't acknowledge. A frown slipped across her muzzle as she looked down to her hooves, mulling over her thoughts in an attempt to lift the downtrodden kaiju's mood. Upon thinking of something, the mare looked to Princess Luna's full moon, completely unaware as to the fact that both Luna and her confidant, the crooked horned unicorn Godzilla, had set this up. "Would you look at that moon! Princess Luna really outdid herself tonight, didn't she?" Fluttershy exclaimed with a soft smile. The Ancient didn't budge until he noticed her circle around to face him. "I'll be alright. It is nothing that you need worry about," Lucky muttered through a sigh. The Element of Kindness ushered a sigh of her own. If she learned anything at all from inter-dimensional beings that were bigger than a house, it was that there was always something. A miracle, it would be, for that nothing to be an honest answer. Lifting her gaze, Fluttershy noticed a thin line that ran down the stallion's cheek, the trail glinting in the light of the moon. Hesitantly, the pegasus mare lifted a hoof and ran it across Lucky's cheek, feeling a wetness that could be nothing else but tears. Seeing the other oddities to his expression, Fluttershy noticed that his ears were flat against his head and his brows were furrowed in visible sadness. Sighing again, she spoke. "You kaiju think that you're so big and tough. But in reality... You're just a broken hearted veteran in need of somepony to love," Fluttershy murmured, peering into his amber and yellow eyes and gently wiping tears from his face. Lucky exhaled deeply, lowering his gaze he finally relaxed his muscles. "Love is a fantasy that a monster is not entitled to," the kirin stallion muttered. "It is a poison that drives so many to murder." His voice, she noticed, was beginning to grow wrathful, a sneer forming upon his lips. "You all treat a potential firestorm like a tiny candle that spreads warmth to those it comes in contact with." Fluttershy gazed up sadly at the kirin, her ears flat. "But... But I love you," the Element of Kindness whispered, dipping her head as a tear developed in her eye. The reaction was instant. Lucky's expression morphed from angered, to surprised as he snapped his head to face the pegasus, his eyes wide and jaw open a couple inches. "You... Can't be serious?" he questioned, voice so unlike his usual stern tone that it almost wasn't the same kaiju. Fluttershy merely looked up at the stallion shyly and nodded. The Ancient let a slight smirk cross his muzzle as he leaned down slightly and wrapped the mare in his arms, careful not to crush her meek frame with his kaiju strength. "I don't know much about communicating my feelings... But I hope this is a good substitute," Lucky whispered. "You're squeezing my tears out," Fluttershy smiled softly, a blush forming on her cheeks as said liquid ran down her cheek. The old world guardian sighed heavily with a content smile before gently reacquainting the mare's hooves with the grass. Fluttershy looked into his amber eyes before she became awash with emotions, those of happiness and love. Beating her wings slightly to raise herself to Lucky's height, the Element of Kindness placed a gentle hoof on his shoulder and leaned forward slightly, her snout hovering inches from his own. In a motion that defied her classic skittish demeanor, the mare locked her lips with her first love. Though Lucky was just as confused as he was surprised by the action, it was one that he didn't fail to return, feeling Fluttershy snake an arm around his neck as he lifted a clawed hoof to her cheek. His eyelids closed as he embraced the mare, the gentle sound of wing beats the only that carried through the air. The two stayed like this for a time before Lucky gently pulled away, his expression a surreal sight to those who knew him well enough. His expression was that of a gentle warmth that completely overlooked his prideful, reserved attitude and battle-scarred form. He was happy. Looking into his eyes, Fluttershy giggled before gently resting her lightly built form against him, feeling the heat that radiated from Lucky and ruffling his fur slightly as she nuzzled his chest. The Alpha Predator chuckled slightly before leaning back and diligently running a claw through her soft mane, looking up at the stars with a content sigh. "Thank you, Father, Mother," he whispered as the mare gave in to sleep, her gentle snores accompanying the expanding of her chest with each breath. Anguirus, having happened by, paused to watch the sight with a smirk. The Guardian Beast of Fire looked back on his times with Ki Seong as he gazed upon the duo... It took the power of Equestria to soften his oldest friend's ridged, enclosed heart. "You did good, Gojira... You finally found something worth chasing..."
