After so many rejections from Rarity, a heartbroken Spike decides he no longer has room in his heart for mares. So instead, he becomes a homosexual, stating only stallions are welcome to tie a knot with his heartstrings.

But, when he confesses this to his best friends, and gets laughed at, he decides to run away, feeling like all ponies see him as a joke. In doing so, he runs away from his home, unintentionally traveling to a familiar cave, with a trio of acquaintances he thought he'd never see again. But, acquaintances can become friends, as long as you allow them to.
