At an convention center in Las Pegasus a cword was waiting for the mare of honor, then a few minutes later a spokemare got up on stage and said in to the microphone

"Rainbow Dash, Visionary, Genius, Equestrian Patriot, Even from an early age, the daughter of legendary weapons developer Doctor Whooves, quickly stole the spotlight with her brilliant and unique mind. At age four she built her first circuit board, at age six his first engine, and at age seventeen she graduated from MIT. The crowd claps. Then Rainbow Dash best friend Lighting Dust got on to the stage and said

"As liaison to Stark Industries, I have a unique privilege of serving with a real patriot. He is my friend, and he is my great mentor. Ladies and gentlemen, it is my honor to present this year's Apogee Award to Ms, Rainbow Dash!"

The crowd began to applaud

"Rainbow?" Lighting said

Then Thunderlane stood up from his seat and got up on stage and took the award

"Thank you, Colonel. This is beautiful. Thank you all very much. This is wonderful. Well, I'm not Rainbow Dash." Thunderlane said

The crowd laughed

"But if I were Rainbow, I would tell you how honored I feel, and what a joy it is to receive this very prestigious award. Rainbow, you know, the best thing about Rainbow is also the worst thing - she's always working." he said

Meanwhile at a casino Rainbow Dash was play Craps while surrounded by stallions of all kinds

"We're gonna let it ride! Give me a hand, will you? Give me a little something-something."

She held out her dice and one of the stallions blew on her dice

"Okay, you too." she said

She held the dice in front of the stallion who turns out to be a mare and not just any mare her best friend Lighting Dust

"I don't blow on a mare's dice." Lighting said

"Come on, honey bear." Rainbow begs

Lighting taps Rainbow's hoof causing her to roll the dice

"There it is. Lieutenant Colonel Dust rolls! And..." Rainbow said

"Two craps. Line away." the dealer at the craps table said

"That's what happens." Lighting said

"Worse things have happened." Rainbow said

They walked out of the casino and was greeted by a purple and green dragon who was Dash's driver.

"Spike, nice timing as usual." Rainbow said

"Thank you Ma'am."Spike said

"So I'll see you at the airport tomorrow at 8 a.m. you better be there." Lighting said as she walked away

"Don't worry I'll be there 8 sharp." Rainbow said

As Rainbow and Spike approached her limo thy were suddenly stopped by a voice coming from behind them

"Ms. Dash, Ms.Dash." the voice said

They turned around and saw a stallion approaching them

"Ms. Dash! Caramel, Vanity Fair magazine. Can I ask you a couple of questions?" a light brown colored stallion said as he approached her

"He's cute." Spike whispers to Dash

"He's alright." Rainbow whispers to Spike

Spike then started to walked to the driver side of the limo as she than turns around to face him

"Hi!" Rainbow said

"Hi." Caramel said to her

"Yeah. Okay, go." she said

"You've been called the Da Vinci of our time. What do you say to that?" he asked her

"Absolutely ridiculous. I don't paint." she responded

"And what do you say to your other nickname, the Merchant of Death?" Caramel asked her

"That's not bad. Let me guess... Berkeley?" she said

"Brown, actually." he said

"Well, Mr. Brown. It's an imperfect world, but it's the only one we got. I guarantee you the day weapons are no longer needed to keep the peace, I'll start making bricks and beams for baby hospitals." she said

"Rehearse that much?" he asked her

"Every night in front of the mirror before bedtime." she said

"I can see that." he said

"I'd like to show you firsthand." she said

"All I'm looking for is a straight answer." he said

She removed her shades and said to him

"OK, here's a straight answer. My old man had a philosophy: peace means having a bigger stick than the other guy."

"That's a great line, coming from a guy selling the sticks." he said

"My father helped defeat Nazis. He worked on the Manhattan Project. A lot of people, including your professors at Brown, would call that being a hero." she said

"And a lot of people would also call that war-profiteering." he said

"Tell me, do you plan to report on the millions we've saved by advancing medical technology or kept from starvation with our intelli-crops? All those breakthroughs, military funding, honey." she said

"Have you ever lost an hour of sleep in your life?" he asked

"I'm be prepared to lose a few with you." she said smiling at him

The next morning in her beach side condo she walked down the stairs after her one night stand with Caramel, her assistance Soarin was standing in the living room and said

Greetings, Ms. Dash I expected that your night was fun."

"Thanks, Mr. Soarin." Rainbow said

Then Caramel came down then stairs and saw Soarin and said to him

"You must be the famous Soarin Winds." he said sarcastically

He smiles and nodded before saying

"Indeed I am."

"After all these years, Tony still has you picking up the dry cleaning." Caramel said

"I do anything and everything Mr. Stark requires. Including occasionally taking out the trash. Will that be all?" Soarin said to him

About 30 minutes after Soarin got Caramel to leave he approached Rainbow in the kitchen and said to her

"You are supposed to be halfway around the world by now."

"How'd he take it?" Rainbow said referring to Caramel

"Like a champ." Soarin said

"Why are you trying to hustle me out of here?" she asked

"Your flight was scheduled to leave an hour and a half ago." he said

"It's funny, I though with it being my plane and all that it would just wait for me." she said

Rainbow, I need to speak to you about a couple of things before I get you out..." he tried to say, but was interrupted by Rainbow

"I mean, doesn't it kind of defeat the whole purpose of having your own plane if it departs before you arrive?" she said

"Yes and now you should be on your way." he said leading her out of the house and into the limo that began to drive them to the airport

As they arrived at the airport Rainbow got out and saw her friend standing there dress in her Air Force uniform and seems to be unhappy

"Sorry, I got stuck doing a piece for Vanity Fair."Rainbow said approaching her friend

"Three hours! Three hours you've kept me standing here!" Lighting said annoyed

She walked past her and said

"Waiting on you now."

Then they boarded the plane on their way to her weapons presentation
