"I won't let you take them!" I yell as the journey started on a foul note when a random Pokemon trainer tries to catch me and the CMC. The trainer had already sent out his Pokemon, Manectric and were both ready to battle. The CMC were huddled up behind me scared of the trainer and his Pokemon. I told the CMC that I would protect them and I will. The Manetric runs at me and bites me with electrified fangs. The electrical charge was starting to paralyze me, but I use flamethrower on Manetric. He releases me and jumps back haveing been burned from the fire, "Run! Get out of here!" I yell and the CMC scatter.
"Manetric, use electro ball!" The trainer ordered. His Pokemon then launched a ball of electricity at me. I use flame burst to counter, the attacks collide and cancel each other out, but the explosion sent searing flames in all directions. I was unharmed from the flames and Manetric was hurt,"Don't give up, Manetric, use thunderbolt!" He yelled and the Manetric discharged electricity launching a bolt of lightning. I use flamethrower, but I couldn't move from paralysis from the thunder fang. The attack lands violently shocking me causing me to collapse to the ground, "Alright, let's wrap this up, go Pokeball!" He shouts throwing a red and white orb at me, but instead of being captured the Pokeball bounced off of me and did nothing. The trainer and his Pokemon were both in shock from the failure of the Pokeball, as I then feel a great rush of power and heat as my blaze ability activated increasing the power of my fire type attacks when in trouble. I assumed that the Pokeball failed because I'm a human that was turned into a Pokemon and Pokeballs won't work on humans. I stand up and unleash a massive fire blast attack with a boost of power from my ability. The fireball hit Manetric causing a massive explosion sending him flying. Manetric fell to the ground with a thud and was unable to battle, "Manetric, you did well, now take a rest," The trainer says pulling a Pokeball out of his pocket and returning his fainted Pokemon.
"I won, now leave!" I snarl at the trainer scaring him away. I then limp away to try to find the CMC but the paralysis caused me to completely stop moving for short periods of time at random intervals. Thier sister's are going to kill me if I lost them. I think to myself as I call out their names. I then come across a small bush covered in red berries and these weren't normal berries. These were cheri berries with if consumed made Pokemon recover from paralysis. I eat several of the spicy berries from the bush and I was no longer slowed by paralysis, but I was still badly hurt.
"HELP!!!" I hear Scootaloo's voice cry out followed by loud screeching noises. I race off towards the source of the noise as fast as my legs can take me. I then see Scootalloo who was running away from a massive brown bird with a long neck and a long, skinny, and sharp beak who was desperately trying to make a meal out of the flightless filly. I then run in front of Scootaloo and tell her to duck as I use flamethrower. The Pokemon flew right into the fire dealing a great deal of damage stopping it in its tracks.
"Scootaloo get behind me," I tell Scootaloo, but not too close I don't want to burn you with the flames on my back."
"Fearow!" The Pokemon screeched as Scootaloo took cover behind me. The Fearow then flapped its wings and launched razor-like winds at us. I create a shield with protect blocking the attack leaving me unharmed. I quickly retaliate by launching a barrage of fireballs at the Pokemon in quick succession. Fearow dodged all of them with ease due to its speed. It then flies straight at me while doing an aileron roll using its beak as a drill. I draw in the attack before blasting a pillar of lava out of the spots on my head right before it was able to land the attack, "Fearow!" The Pokemon cried out as it was launched back from the pillar of lava and then fleeing.
"Are you okay?" I ask Scootaloo as the flames on my back go out, "Where are the others?"
"I'm okay now," she says,"I don't know where the other are, but I don't think they have gotten too far," We then continue to look for the others. About an hour passes and we haven't found any sign of the others and the sun was getting low in the sky. I then noticed a large bush covered in oran berries, "What are those, Quilava?"
"Oran berries, try one," I say plucking a berry and handing one to her, "I'm glad we found these because these berries are able to heal a Pokemon's wounds, and that's just what I needed."
Scootaloo tries a berry but instantly gets a disgusted expression on her face and spits out the berry, "Yuck, it's all bitter and sour," She says gagging, "How are you able to eat these?" she asks as I eat one berry after the next.
"I know that they don't taste good, but I'd eat anything," I explain as all of my wounds heal from eating the berries, "where do you think we should look for the others?" I then ask her.
"I already found Sweetie Bell," Scootaloo tells me as she slowly backs away looking up into the trees around us. I look up and see a large spider web covered in Ariodoses, spider-like Pokemon that were about four feet long, and had a single horn on their heads which can deliver strong poisons. I also then see Sweetie Bell who was almost completely encased in webbing. Two launch thin but extremely strong silk lines at me and Scootaloo. The sticky silk tied both of us together back to back and then the Ariodoses hoisted us into the web, "Quilava, melt the web!" Scootaloo yells in fear.
"No, you're stuck to my back and would be fried," I explain to her, "Sweetie Bell are you okay?" I then ask Sweetie Bell and am only replied with muffled sounds explaining why we didn't find her sooner. An Ariodos walks up to me while it was hissing at me and was about to stab me with its poisonous horn.
"Chikorita," I hear a voice say, "cut the web with razor leaf!" Then sharp edged leafs flew at the web cutting it to shreds causing all of us to fall out o the web. I land on my back and Scootaloo lands on my stomach knocking the wind out of me. Scootaloo then gets off of me and I get up just to have Sweetie bell land on my back. The Ariodoses quickly gather up in front of us ready to fight. I then get up again and see Applebloom along with the others and a Pokemon. It was a small green, four-legged Pokemon with a large leaf coming out of the top of its head. I then realized that Applebloom had befriended a Chikorita by herself which was quite impressive.
"Applebloom," I say to her as the flames on my back ignite, "how about you and Chikorita help me out?"
Applebloom's Pokemon then ran up next to me and growled at the approaching Ariodos, "What I'm I supposed to do?" Applebloom asks me as I try to intimidate the Ariodos by increasing the size of them flames on my back and using flamethrower into the sky, and at that moment I had this strange feeling as if I had become weightless and I realized that I'm not meant to be only Twilight's Pokemon. I'm meant to teach ponies to train them and I'm everyponies Pokemon, but I'm still a wild Pokemon and a human. I tell her to do what she did before and I surround myself with fire and use a flame wheel attack. I felt like a bowling ball knocking over pins as Ariodoses were knocked out one after the other. I didn't realize it, but I already stopped all the Ariodoses I felt so alive I just kept on going back and forward, "Chikorita, use reflect!" Applebloom said to her Pokemon as I was heading straight at them. A wall of transparent rainbow colored energy appeared in front of them, and I crash into it. It fell like running straight into a brick wall.
"I'm sorry," I apologize to them,"I got a little carried away, but Applebloom you managed to befriend a Pokemon by yourself. How did you do that?" but before she was able to answer a small black orb rolled in front of us and exploded releasing smoke in all directions blinding us. I then feel something grab me and pick me up. I then hear the screaming of the files as I make the flames on my back and head shoot out at whatever was holding me. I'm then dropped onto the ground and then release superheated gusts of air from the spots on my back blowing away the smoke. I then see people in red suits with red hair and shades all around me and see that the CMC and Chicorita were inside of a cage attached to a red van covered in armor, but there was a woman with green hair and green goggles.
"Quilava, help us!" The fillies cry out from the cage as the people in red suits surround me. I prepare myself for a fight as they all pull Pokeballs out of their pockets.
"Stand down," The green haired woman orders the others, "I was told there would be a purple one with you," She says talking about Twilight as she walks closer to me. I snarl at her but she wasn't intimidated, "I found him," She says as she holds down a small button on the side of her goggles.
"I'll tell the boss, Bryony, but don't underestimate him," I hear a voice say from the goggles.
"The purple one isn't with him, so this will be easy," Bryony says, "Make this easy and give up now, or else you're going to need to fight me and my Pokemon," she then pulls a Pokeball out of her pocket and with a flash of light a purple leopard with a yellow underbelly and covered in yellow circles and spots appeared in front of me. Just standing on all fours it was about half a foot taller than if I was standing on my hind legs, but on all fours, I was almost a third of my standing height.
"Liepard!" The Pokemon cries out staring down at me.
"Why are you trying to catch me so badly?" I ask her, "What use am I to you?"
"You have the ability to evolve because of that purple pony you're with," she says to me, "Not standard evolution or mega evolution, but something else we've only seen once before. We want to study it and learn about it."
"Then why are you trying to take over Equestria," I ask her, "you really think that I'd believe that. I know that there are only two kinds of evolutions," I tell her before using flamethrower, but her Liepard easily got out of the way and dodged the attack.
"Liepard, use night slash!" Byrony orders her Pokemon. Liepard takes a massive leap and a ghostly hand with long sharp claws appeared over its front paws and slashes me multiple times with them, "Sucker Punch!" Lieperd then delivers another slash of its claws to me before I was able to react. I use another flamethrower, but again it dodges it,"You're going to need to be a lot faster if you want to hit Liepard," She says taunting me.
"I'll just go faster then," I say lunging at Liepard at a speed that made it almost look like I'd vanished. I headbutt Liepard in the leg causing Liepard to fall over. I quickly face Liepard and use fire blast. Liepard unable do dodge the fireball was hit and blasted back and wounded.
"Liepard!" The Pokemon yelled as she rolled to a stop after being knocked back.
"You can do it Quilava!" The fillies yelled cheering me on from their cages.
"You may have the advantage in speed,but how does that help you hit something you can't see," I say using smokescreen covering the battlefield in a layer of heavy dark black smoke. Byrony then hit a button on the side of her goggles and pointed into the smoke and ordered Liepard to use shadow ball. Even under the cover of smoke, I couldn't hide from those goggles. The shadow ball exploded knocking me to the ground and blew away all of the smoke. Then a small cloud of a purple powder then flew right into Liepard and then suddenly became poisoned.
"What!" Byrony said in disbelief as all of us draw our attention to the cages where we saw Applebloom's Chikorita who had broken the cages allowing them to get out.
"Alright, Chikorita use razor leaf," Applebloom said to her Pokemon. Chikorita's leaf then glowed a bright green as she swung it around her head launching small sharp-edged leafs out of it. I then use flamethrower on the leafs to set them on fire as they all flew past all of the Grunts and Byrony. all of their suits then caught fire and they all started to panic and started to run.
"How did you do that?" I ask them with a sigh of relief, "That was incredible."
"They were all wearing cheap suits made out of highly flammable fabric," Sweetie Bell explains to me, "and they really need to get better outfits." and then they all start to laugh
"Well, I think we should get out of here before they come back, so follow me," I tell them as I then continue through the forest toward the bottom of a rocky cliffside with them right behind me. Am I actually an experiment created by Team Flare? I think to myself as we approach the bottom of the cliffside.
As we walk along the bottom of a cliff my ears suddenly stood up and I stopped. I then heard the sound of small stones falling down the side of the cliff. Sweetie Bell asks if something was wrong, but I told her it was nothing, but I still wasn't able to move. I then look up and see a small blue wingless dragon with a large gray forehead falling straight out of the sky. it's head bashes into mine knocking me out. I awake in a dreamlike plain and see Princess Luna who appeared to be worried, "I'm afraid that I have bad news to tell you. Lysander is in Equestria and he's using Mewtwo to destroy Equestria. He has already turned all of the elements and Discord into stone. Celestia is trying to hold it back with her Pokemon but I don't know how long they can hold them back," she told me and I then fell a massive sinking feeling along with the feeling of failure.
"But what do I tell the fillies and what should we do?" I ask her desperately
"Don't tell them and get as far away from Lysander. Don't come back, the future of Equestria now lies in the hooves of those fillies and your paws," She tells me.
"There has to be a way to fix this," I tell her, "I can't run from this."
"There is nothing you can do. All you can do is keep yourself and those fillies as far away from Equestria as possible," Luna tells me, "All of Equestria is about to be destroyed and those three are the only survivors."
"No, I'm going to fight. You may be a princess, but you don't tell me to give up," I say to her, "I'd rather fight knowing I can't win then turn and run away!"
"Don't you dare talk to me that way," Luna says angered, "You don't ignore an order from a Princess!"
"You're the Princess of the night and your under your sister who's the princess of the sun," I remind her, "I can control the sun like her, so I have more power than you do, so you listen to me!"
"Just because you can move the sun doesn't make you have any more authority rodent!" She justifies, "You aren't anywhere as strong as my sister or me!"
"I was able to hold my own when fighting Celestia, and Umbreon had you locked in a standstill, and he's about as strong as I am," I tell her, "Lysander is in Equestria and is the top of the pyramid of his organization, and how can the top stand without the bottom of the pyramid. We can take out his grasp in the Pokemon world and he will come crashing down with it," Then the dreamlike plain faded away and I had a sharp pain in my head as I regained conciseness.
"Are you okay?" Sweetie bell asks me, as I look around and don't see Scootaloo, Applebloom, Chikorita, or the Pokemon that fell on top of me anywhere. "After you were hit in the head the blue dragon went into a cave in the side of the cliff. Scootaloo chased after it and Applebloom and her Pokemon went after her and told me to stay with you."
"At least Chikorita is with them, but we need to stop them before something bad happens to them," I explain to Sweetie Bell, "Where is the cave you said they went in?"
Sweetie Bell then leads me to a small cave entrance and we walk in. The cave was extremely dark and moist. I try to use my flames to light the way, but it only made the pain in my head worse, so Sweetie Bell had to use her horn to light the way, but it was as good as a flashlight with a dim light bulb and low batteries. I have her get on my back so we don't get separated. I carefully walk deeper into te cave when we saw small crystals sticking out of the walls, "Maby we can bring these to Rarity," Sweetie Bell says making me start to think about what Luna said. My ears then stand up again and I stop. I hear in the distance something moving closer to us, but I couldn't see anything due to the small amount of light Sweetie Bells horn was making, "What's the problem?" She then asks me.
"Get off of my back," I tell her,"I hear something coming," Sweetie Bell slides off my back and I ignite the flames on my back lighting up some of the cave revealing a massive blue dragon with red wings, a gray underbelly and lower jaw, and large claws. It was a Salamence a Pokemon as powerful as Latios. Salamence lets out a roar as Sweetie Bell lets out a loud scream.
"Okay, I know exactly how to handle this, run," She say turning around and running into another Salamence behind us, She then screams and runs back to me,"What are we going to do?" She asks as the Salamence get closer.
"Dig!" I shout as I burrow into the ground using dig. Within moments, the ground opens up beneath me dropping me into another tunnel away from the dragons. A high pitched scream follows as Sweetie Bell falls out of the tunnel I made and landing on my back, "I'm glad I could break your fall," My ears then stand up again and I hear the sound of a rapidly approaching fire from the tunnel I just made,"Get down!" I yell knocking her off my back and covering her with my body as a massive flame shot out of the cave ceiling on top of us. The ground around us was turned black from the heat of the flames. I wait until the fire stopped before getting off of Sweetie Bell.
"Quilava, you saved me," She says happily," Thank you!" She then tries to hug me but jumps back after getting a small burn on her hoof from touching me, "why did you do that?" She asks thinking I had hurt her on purpose.
"I didn't mean to hurt you," I tell her, "I was just on fire, so you'll get hurt touching me. I'm a Pokemon you never want to touch, hold, or have any other physical contact with," I explain to her.
"Quilava!" I hear two voices say behind me and I turn to find Applebloom, Scootaloo, Chikorita, and a Bagon behind us and they look like they have been burned by something, "Somethings coming y'all need to run," Applebloom then tells me.
Then a large orange dragon flies up to us and roared. it was a Charizard, but this one had some kind of collar on it with a stone attached to it. I then see a trainer with a black jacket, brown gloves, blue scarf, black hair, blue eyes, and a mega ring, "There it is Charizard," The boy says pointing at me. I ignite the flames on my back and tell everyone to get behind me,"Dragon Claw!" He then yelled. Charizard's claws and hands then became a bright green color and had appeared to have grown in size, as he flew towards me. I use protect just before Charizard reached me. Charizard viciously slashed at me, but it couldn't even break the protect. I then knock Charizard back with a fire blast and then run at them and using double team making false copies of myself, "Charizard, flamethrower all of them!" Charizard creates a wall of fire quickly moving towards me and my copies.Before it hit I use dig and go underground. I then get behind Charizard and jump out of the ground. Charizard sees me and swings his tail at me knocking me into a wall. I charge at Charizard surrounding myself with electricity to use wild charge, "Thunder punch,"
Charizard's fist then is surrounded with electricity and he then punches me with the electrified fist again sending me into the wall, "I thought with all of that strength you'd hit harder," I say taunting them preparing for another attack.
"Then try this on for size," the trainer responded placing his hand on his mega ring, "Respond to my heart, Key Stone! Surpass evolution! Mega Evolve!" in a flash of bright lights his Charizard mega evolved into Mega Charizard X,"Dragon claw!" Mega Charizard flew straight at me with its massive claws. I'm repeatedly slashed by its claws resulting in an explosion sending me flying into the cave ceiling,"finish this with thunder punch!"
"Vine whip!" Applebloom yells as her Chikorita used it's vines to wrap around Charizard's arm preventing him from striking me.
"Bagon, use dragon pulse!" Scootaloo orders the Bagon.
"Quilava, Flamethrower!" Sweetie bell yells to me. Bagon then launches a beam of purple energy at Charizard and I fall from the ceiling to the ground and unleash flamethrower. Charizard was blasted back into his trainer, but they went done yet. The cave ceiling then opened up and the two Salamences from earlier entered the cave with us. Bagon then said its own name several times and the Two Salamences then faced Charizard.
"Chikorita, use solar beam!" Applebloom said
"Bagon, use dragon pulse!" Scootaloo ordered
"Quilava, fire blast!" Sweetie bell shouted. All at once we all launched a barrage of attacks at the Charizard and the two Salamences both used a hyper beam on Charizard as well. A massive explosion shook the ground as both the trainer and his Pokemon were blasted out of the cave, "Scootaloo, how did you know that Bagon was able to use dragon pulse?" I then ask Scootaloo.
"I just guessed," She replies, "Bagon looks like Spike which is a dragon, and Rainbow Dash's Latios is also a dragon, and can use dragon pulse. I think it might be a good idea if she came with us."
"She?" I say confused,"How do you know it's female and why do you think it's a good idea?"
"Bagon only wants to fly like Salamence, and I also one day want to be able to fly," She explains, "You said anything is possible with the help of Pokemon, and I want to help her fly and fly with her," tears then started to form in eyes,"You don't know what it's like to be mocked about not being able to even be able to get off the ground like every other Pegasus. I want to be like my hero and be the best flier in Equestria!"
"I didn't mean to upset you," I say as she starts to cry and the others over to her to comfort her, "I fell your pain, but you will never fly with her."
"Qulava, why would you tell her that?" Applebloom scolds me, "She can fly with her hero."
"No, She can't!" I yell at them starting to sob only thinking about what Luna told me about everyone being turned to stone.
"Why can't I?" Scootaloo asks me angered,"Why can't I become like her? Why can't I achieve my dream? Is it because I can't fly?"
"Because she's dead!" I say breaking down. Everything then went quiet as their faces were frozen with disbelief, "Everyone is dead in Equestria and it's all my fault," I explain to them, "They didn't even stand a chance without me," The three fillies then also start to cry as well as I keep thinking to myself, What did I do wrong? I then look at the other Pokemon and It hits me. They were inexperienced. They didn't know how to battle with Pokemon, but I can still teach them, "but I'm not done yet. I can still fight back and you can too," I say gaining confidence, "Your Pokemon are strong, but they are only as strong as their trainer. If you learn how to be a Pokemon trainer you will b even stronger than any threat that comes your way," I explain to them, "I will teach you how, and this time I'll teach you everything you need to know and more! You want everyone in Equestria to be safe, so be their hero and save them!"
"But I don't have a Pokemon," SweetieBell says as they stop crying,"So what am I going to do?"
"You do have a Pokemon," I say walking up to her,"I'll be you Pokemon until you find your Pokemon, and even after that, I will continue to help all of you. Now let's get out of this cave and start training!" We then leave the cave and head back into the forest, but then I hear the sound of multiple footsteps from the other side of a large bush, "Alright, I hear something coming keep quiet," I whisper to them. The footsteps top and I then hear complete silence.
"I think there might be something watching us from those bushes," I hear a male voice say from the other side of the bush. I ignite the flames on my back and tell everyone to get ready to fight whatever's on the other side. I then see a pale-skinned hand reach through the bush and bite it, "Ah! Something bit me," He says pulling his hand back.
"Are you okay big brother," I hear the concerned voice of a little girl say. I then get a great feeling or regret as the flames go out on my back. I quietly tell them to wait as I stick my head through the bushes. On the other side, I see a short blond boy who appears to be in his early teens wearing a blue jumpsuit with a yellow collar, large round glasses which obscure his eyes, a large metallic backpack, and black shoes. Next to him I see a shorter young girl with blond hair, a brown short sleeve top with a puffy white skirt that looked like a cloud, and was wearing a yellow shoulder bag. Her eyes widened at the sight of me, "How cute, a Quilava," She says reaching towards me with one of her small hands.
"Bonnie, don't!" the boy shouts grabbing her arm and pulling it away from me, "It's dangerous."
"What's gong on Clemont?" I hear a familiar male voice say. I look at him and see a boy with black hair and brown eyes, a blue collared shirt with short sleeves, dark blue jeans, a red and white cap, red sneakers, and had a Pikachu on his shoulder. I instantly recognized it as and that these were his friends, but there was someone next to him, a dark blond short haired girl about his age as him wearing a reddish-pink fedora, a bright pink dress with a white collar, a gray top underneath it, a red waistcoat with a blue ribbon, and brown boots. All four of them not including Ash's Pikachu all gathered up in front of me.
"Who's that Pokemon?" The older girl with the fedora asked pulling out a Pokedex from her waistcoat and pointing it at me.
"Quilava, the volcano Pokemon," The Pokedex beeped," It intimidates foes with the heat of its flames. The fire burns more strongly when it readies to fight."
"What's a Quilava doing in Kalos?" The blond boy who I assumed was Clemont asked, "They aren't indigenous to Kalos."
"Can we keep it?" The little girl who I identified as Bonnie asks Clemont pulling on his arm,"I promise I'll take good care of him."
"I'm not sure, Bonnie," Clemont responds, "I don't think it will be safe."
"I'm perfectly fine," She tells him, "I'll prove it by battling Quilava. Dedenne, use nuzzle!" She says as an orange mouse with black whiskers looking like radio antennas jumps out of her shoulder bag. I then use protect as two beams of energy from Bagon and Chikorita fly out of the bush behind me. The beams didn't hit anything but It caused everyone to jump and Dedenne quickly scurried back into Bonnie's shoulder bag started. The CMC and their Pokemon then jump out of the bushes to try to protect me. Pikachu started discharges electricity shocking everyone, but me because my protect blocked the electricity.
"Are you all okay?" I ask everyone, "I'm sorry about this."
"That's strange," Clemont says scratching his head, "for a second I thought that Quilava just talked."
"Quilava, Isn't that the same boy who saved us from those bad guys at the orchard?" Applebloom asks me looking at Ash and Pikachu.
"I remember you," Ash says, "you're the three ponies and Quilava from before."
"You know them?" Clemont asks, "I've never seen anything like them before."
"They're so cute," Bonnie says, "Are they a new kind of Pokemon?"
"No, they're not," I say causing everyone to jump in shock except for Ash, Pikachu, The fillies, and their Pokemon.
"You... you can talk!" The older girl says surprised.
"Who are they?" I then ask Ash, "Are they your friends?"
"We're all his friends," The older girl says, "I'm Serena, nice to meet all of you."
"I'm Clemont," Clemont introduces himself, "This is my little sister, Bonnie."
"And this is Dedenne and Squishy," Bonnie says as Dedenne and a green head with one eye and one white spot next to its eye came out of its bag. The green one looked like a giant green cell with a red gem inside of it.
"Denene," Dedenne said introducing himself as the green Pokemon made blubbering noises.
"I'm Applebloom, and this is my Pokemon Chikorita," Applebloom introduces herself and Chikorita.
"I'm Scootaloo, and this is my Pokemon Bagon," Scootaloo says to them
"I'm Sweetie Bell, but I don't have a Pokemon," Sweetie Bell introduces herself.
"I'm her Pokemon for the moment," I explain, "but we need your help. I want you to battle all of us, so we can teach them how to battle with their Pokemon."
