“Hey, don't get too close to…” was the last he heard Twilight say before his ears began to ring and everything turned black. Now, Spike felt the covers of his bed around him, keeping him warm and cozy. Being the lazy dragon that he was, Spike remained in bed even though he was conscious, snoozing peacefully. Even during his nap his mind meandered about the situation that happened recently. Was it a dream? Was he dead and his spirit was haunting the bed he once slept in? Did it really happen and now he’s in some life cast like Rainbow Dash after her crash?
He decided to save himself the wonder and just open his eyes.
Everything appeared to be normal, the wooden library filled with books and tomes of ancient knowledge surrounding his petite pet bed. Spike soon inspected himself, pulling off the covers to reveal his plump purple and green body. With an inquisitive poke, he pushed his finger into his scaled gut, feeling the soft layer of fat that had grown on it.
“Well, at least I’m not dead” he told himself, wiggling his arms and legs, making sure they existed, before finally giving his tubby tail a twitch.
“Everything’s still there” he sighed gratefully. Though, quickly looking around the library, he couldn’t find Twilight. For all he knew she might be in the bathroom or the basement or something. Yet, a sinister smile grew on his tiny muzzle, looking at the entrance of the kitchen. Without Twilight in the immediate vicinity, he might be able to sneak out a few cookies from the cookie jar and keep them in a safe place to later snack on when the time is right. Even with Twilight’s rigorous dieting plan for a growing dragon, Spike knew that a dragon’s got to eat, what a dragon’s got to eat.
And the dragon needs some cookies.
He scampered towards the kitchen, his tiny little feet padding against the wood floorboards. The little dragon knew what his target was, the porcelain jar on the countertop, and he already had his game plan. He used the stool that was the closest to the counter, so if he was spotted during his attempt, he could kick it back in place and feign ignorance before Twilight could properly notice what was happening. After that, it was a quick scramble up to the counter top, using some of the wooden moldings as footholds to push his pudgy posterior up.
Low and behold, his prize was waiting for him, the most generic looking cookie jar Spike could imagine, but creativity aside, he still craved it’s contents.
With a delicate touch, Spike pulled the lid off and started to slowly place it on the counter. He didn’t know where Twilight was, so she could be in the library now, where any noise he made could alert her to his presence. It was a chance he had to make though, as he slowly stuck his hand into the mouth of the jar, his tiny claws feeling up one of the delicious treats.
“Hey there Spike!”
Busted
The little dragon looked over his shoulder to see the purple unicorn smiling at him, seemingly unperplexed by the heinous crime he was committing.
“Why uh… hey Twilight” Spike squeaked, confused and ridden with anxiety, caught with his claw in the cookie jar, “how… how are you doing?”
“I’m doing quite well actually” Twilight said with a chipper whinnie, “I’m glad your up and about after that accident, I was afraid you might have gotten hurt. It looks like everything is fine now though.”
“Oh… right… yeah, I’m doing alright” Spike said, his brain remembering the events that lead up to him in bed, helping Twilight with one of her spells, “thanks for the consideration.” Slowly he brought a cookie up to his muzzle and bit into it, feeling the crumbs litter his plush paunch.
“Don’t mention it Spike” Twilight acknowledged before going to another part of the kitchen. The dragon was confused, she clearly saw him not only stick his paw in the cookie jar, but also him eating right out of the cookie jar, without even washing his hands before hand. The young reptile took advantage of the situation, sitting at the jar and overturning it, munching down the cookies with some reckless abandon. Each treat was practically as large as a manhole cover in comparison to the small drake, each one making his gut more and more swollen.
It didn’t take too long though for Spike to finish off the jar, groaning to himself from the feeling of fullness. His pudgy body expanding outwards a bit to where his gut had difficulty staying off the ground. Reaching forward to rub his belly, his arms pressed up against the lumps of chest fat that had finally expanded out into significance, creating fake dragon cleavage.
“I… uh… might have had too much” he groaned, rolling over to his side to drag his way to the end of the counter.
With a heavy plop, he landed on the stool, causing it to let out a loud creak under his newly aquired weight. Followed by the slap of his gut bouncing off the floor when he stepped off the stool. Spike knew he was gaining a little weight, but it was worth it for those cookies.
Waddling into the library, Spike glanced at the mirror, his pride kind of taking over. Though what he saw was his own face covered in black soot and ash.
“Wait a second” Spike pondered, his young brain starting to connect the dots.
“HEY, TWILIGHT!” He barked out, waiting for the unicorn to come in.
“Yes, what is it Spike?” Twilight asked, looking through the door of the kitchen.
“Is there… uhhh… something on my face?” Spike asked. The response was something he didn’t expect.
“Oh, not that I can see” Twilight answered.
“I might have also gained a little weight?” Spike added.
“Well, I’ll have to put you on a scale to make sure” Twilight told him, “but from what I can see, everything is normal.”
“Thanks Twilight” Spike’s little muzzle was in a huge grin. Twilight was a huge clean freak, and yet she seemed to shrug off the fact his face was covered in ash and soot, not even mention the little footprints he’s left all over the library. She didn’t even comment on his weight, something that she’s been nagging him about all month.
She was oblivious to him, to anything that he did, ate, wore, whatever, she just knew that he was ‘there’.
“It must have been the spell explosion” he thought, his mind whirring away at all the things he could do with his new power.
First thing being to clean his face, as much as he liked being dirty, the last thing he wanted was ash in his food.
Spike discovered that his power of ignorance expanded to anyone around him, allowing him to eat from the trash without anyone batting an eye. Even more amazing was the fact that Twilight didn’t even bat an eye when he came to the treehouse after falling asleep in the dumpster behind Sugar Cube Corner all night, covered in day old pastry dough. Not a single nag about his absence worrying her, asking where he went, what he was thinking, why there was a stale donut stuck in one of his head frills, nothing left her mouth other than to say ‘hi’.
If she didn’t care where he went, then that might mean that others might not care if he invited himself to a ‘sleepover’ of sorts. And there was already one pony he wouldn’t mind hanging out with longer.
Though he did wish her doorbell was a little easier to reach.
Standing in front of the elegant Carousel Boutique, Spike was forced to reduce himself to knocking. If he were a thinner, more athletic dragon, he might be able to hop up and ring the bell, but not Spike. The young dragon had ballooned during his week of stealing treats and garbage raiding.
Spike’s body had grown fat enough that he was wheezing furiously when he finally got to the Carousel Boutique. Partially because he was growing more and more lazy without Twilight nagging him and waking him up early, but also because he was forced to lift up his massive gut in order to waddle around. His huge belly was firmly planted on the ground, the dragon practically as thick as he was tall, not including his tail, reduced to a conical looking lump of fat resting between two dragging butt cheeks the size of his own head.
Slowly, Spike walked around his grounded gut, pushing his thick love handles and moob against the door in order for his tiny arm to reach it. The usefulness of his arms were quickly being reduced with every pound he gained. Not only were they turning into heavy sagging limbs that were starting to stretch out past his own hands, but the were also prevented from reaching forward by his own fat chest. Spikes moobs were thick and bulky, heavy sacks of lard that stretched forward and to his sides, wobbling about with every movement he made.
Finally, he knocked on the door in a pitiful fashion, practically pressing his entire side against the wood. The top half of the door opened, revealing the marshmallow white unicorn look around before peering down at the purple butterball.
“Oh, hello Spike” greeted Rarity, her voice smooth and pleasant, “why don’t you come on in, I’m in the process of finishing a new dress.” With a magic glow the lower half of the door opened up, revealing the pink fluffy interior of the building to him.
Spike grunted, his arms attempting to grasp at his gut, feeling up the rolls at his side before his tiny claws were able to properly wrap around them. With all his might, he pulled up, lifting the pounds of scaled flab up, reducing the area of his gut pushing into the floor from the size of a coffee table, to the bottom of a cupcake. Yet, his posterior still dragged behind him considerably as he waddled. Step by step he moved forward, his little feet aching holding up so much fat. He swayed side by side, the dragon’s fat moobs undulating by his sides like thick pendulums. It was only a few seconds before his arms began to ache, forcing him to release his mighty belly to have it flop on the floor in front of him.
He wasn’t even half way through the doorway.
“Oh darling, you must have been busy being so tired” chimed Rarity. Spike could feel her magic engulf him, lifting up the dragon dumpling off the ground slightly. Even when Twilight did it the levitating magic felt weird, especially how it lifted up all his fat folds, making his already bloated face feel even more constricted as his shoulders and moobs pushed up against his many chins and thick cheeks. Even though she didn’t notice Spike’s weight, it was obvious that Rarity was having trouble maneuvering him, resulting in Spike being plopped on a cushion partially on his side.
“I’m sorry Spike” she cooed, “I must be overworking myself.”
“Don't worry about it sweet cheeks” Spike swooned, watching the white unicorn levitate a handkerchief to wipe at her brow, “I don’t mind at all.” Though his eyes peered at the chest closeby, knowing the many delicious treats that it hid within.
“By the way Rarity… I’m feeling a little hungry” Spike mentioned, reaching over to rub the side of his belly, “mind if I grab a spare gem… you know, as a light snack?”
“You’ve always be a gweedy widdle dwaggin” Rarity cooed cutely, levitating a decent sized chest over and having it open up in front of Spike. “Just have one, alright?”
“Okie dokie” Spike cheered, shuffling his fat overweight body around to be able to grasp the lip of the chest. He reached in and grabbed several smaller gems in his greedy little arms and pushed it into his gluttonous little maw, feeling the rocks crunch between his teeth like candy. Rarity was oblivious of Spike’s blatant disobedience to her ‘one gem’ rule and began working on her current dress.
The gluttonous dragon ate and ate, groaning from the delicious flavors of Rarity’s secondary stash of gems. Soon resulting to him just pulling the chest onto its side, allowing it to all spill on the floor around him. All so that he could reach it better with his tiny stubby arms.
He would soon eat his fill, oozing across the floor in his obese glory. Even though his belly ached and complained, digestion draining energy from the dragon, he reached out for the last gem he could possibly reach. Spike’s body ached all over from such an enthusiastic gorging session, his arm slowly lifting the gem into his mouth. He was forced to weakly toss it in, the fat limbs so thick he could no longer touch his nose. The green emerald rested between his teeth, a greedy tongue licking at it, convincing his brain he had room for one more.
The bloated purple dragon idled, resting there on the floor with the large gem in his mouth. His fat flooded arms reached over to grasp at his thick chest, squeezing and fondling it. A delighted moan escaped his mouth and around the gem, feeling how one of his moobs pushed against the ground in his current off kilter position. They hung heavily on his chest far enough that, if his feet weren’t sunken into his own cankles, he’d be able to tickle them with his toes. Still, he lounged, feeling his chest wiggle with every breath, pulling at it to feel how massive they’ve grown.
His tongue finally convinced him though, and he slothfully swallowed the emerald, feeling it traverse his throat. Spike sunk his pudgy face into his many chins, tired and lethargic, his eyes drooped. Encased in his own built in blanket, Spike fell into a food induced sleep, dreaming of pleasant food filled dreams.
Spike’s ‘sleepover’ lasted for several nights, each one filled with him raiding Rarity’s stash of gems before inspecting his immense body and falling asleep. Still, as much as he liked to stay at the carousel boutique, his conscience was starting to tell him that he was causing Rarity serious issues with her work. His feeding frenzy was clearing out Rarity’s stock of gems, meaning that she was forced to go out and find more gems instead of making dresses. This meant that if he were to continue, he would literally be eating Rarity out of business.
Though, his excursion to a new home to mooch food off of others is going to be a hassle. Well, it’s going to mostly be a hassle for everyone else, all he had to do was rest there and let Big Mac pull the cart.
Transportation was easy to arrange, all he had to do was ask Big Mac if he could drop him off at Sugar Cube Corner while he transported several dresses to the mayor’s office for a big party. Getting him in the cart was the hard part.
Spike had exploded into a colossal blob of scales and lard, to where no only was squeezing him through the door a hassle, but also sliding him into the cart. Rarity feigned exhaustion, claiming she must have overworked herself so that she could invite Twilight to help her. Twilight too commented that she must be getting ill from her magical weakness, yet, they were able to get him on.
Spike had basically filled the cart with his bountiful bulk, arms pushed up into the air by outreaching sides and their own lard. His face was bloated into a pout, each cheek the size of his own head, forcing him to squint over the purple horizon and around his own swollen muzzle. Resting in the cart, the dragon appeared to be humpbacked, his own swollen back thick enough to attempt to crawl up the back of his head, as if trying to press his muzzle into the plethora of tire size chins that hung off his neck. The remains of his tail was a round lump of lard that was trapped between his back and cheeks, the huge orbs overhanging the cart and attempting to crush the wall. His gut oozed over the front it’s green expanse resembling hills while it hung over the sides like a muffin tin overloaded with batter.
Then there were his moobs, sagging to either side of him far enough that a sudden turn might cause them to smack the cart wheels lightly. Huge bulging sacks that he would attempt grasp and massage, but his own arms were immobilized in their own fat, like the rest of his body. They were both larger than young fillies, stretching from his overloaded body, wobbling from the cart’s movement.
The dragon looked across Ponyville, everyone minding their own business, ignorant of the massive blob of a dragon he’s become. The tiny bumps in the road made his body undulate and slosh like the ocean, his fat tits sloshing about at the side overhanging the cart.
“Mind goin *URP* shlower” he slurred, the bumpy road causing his internal juices to shake and slosh. Big Mac slowed down, but it only seemed to make the bumps more prominent and violent. Spike began to worry for the condition of the cart, feeling it creak and groan under his mass. Would it break? Would he be stranded? Could him breaking the cart jar everyone out of the curse?
He didn’t fear for long, as Sugar Cube Corner approached, Pinkie outside hopping up and down.
“HEY BIG MAC, HEY SPIKE” she giggled, cotton candy hair bobbing about on her head, “WHY DON’T YOU COME IN. BAKED GOODS ARE ON THE HOUSE FOR GOOD FRIENDS!”
Spike’s fat cheeks formed thick dimples at the corners of his big smile.
He was in bliss.
