Recently, about 2 weeks ago, Jack had been sucked from his apartment in Fleetwood, or as he liked to call it, 'Hellhole' ...At least it was cheap to live in.
Then, he was deposited in Ponyville, which at first the ponies living there had been scared of him, some even trying to kill him with a load of reasons and tools to do so.
After a week and a few days, he had managed to get a house and a nice amount of furniture etc.
Roughly he had been living in this house for about 4 days. And it was a nice house, way better than his apartment. He hardly had to pay anything either.
4 days later on a nice summers day, Jack was inside.
It was a nice day but he didn't trust that toothpaste unicorn called 'Lyra'. Last time he went out and nodded off he almost got his hands chewed off, his legs stolen and also raped. It wasn't a pleasant experience, and he had a nightmare the day after it happened. Luckily Luna intervened and the nightmare was quickly sorted out.
Jack was in his room, alone, in his house in Ponyville. It was a medieval thatch-work house with a touch of modern to
it. He had mainly just acquaintances. Not many friends. It was similar to his life in Fleetwood. He didn't have any friends nor acquaintances nor did he like his job.
Here, it was worse, job-wise. No one would hire him, and he was a little broke. He wasn't completely broke and could probably afford to buy a hot meal each day. It was better than his life again in Fleetwood, where he had troubles getting food, as he was being paid minimum wage. Just like there, here he had trouble finding any other job, and here, he couldn't even find a job that would actually hire him.
Right now he had no visitors, and he was utterly alone. He fiddled with his fingers, playing a little with them, then he heard something. He quirked his ears a little and heard it again, then another sound. He heard a knock on the door, then something going through the letterbox.
He wondered what that was. So he decided to investigate it.
"Well, there's only one way to find out! ...By going there, you idiot," He said, half excited, half bored.
He twiddled his fingers a little before deciding to do something about it.
He slowly got up from his bed, the cushions blue and white plaid, the white standing out more than the blue. Rarity, who was just an acquaintance of his, had made the pillows and the quilt, and most of his clothing. The quilt was a similar plaid style, except instead of blue and white with an outstanding amount of white, it was the other way around.

He looked at the carpet briefly, which was a dark brown, then at the walls, admiring the wallpaper, which was blue with yellow cartoony flowers. The yellow painted on to the wallpaper flowers had smiles on their faces and beady black eyes. He finally went out of his room, but not before looking at the ceiling of the house. It was a plain white swirly ceiling. He went down the red stairs, sliding down the wooden mahogany banister, and eventually got to the door, he
picked up the letter and opened the door and called 'Hello?'
No one, err... pony paid him any mind. Not even a batting of an eye. Not even a wave. He shrugged and closed the door and opened the letter. Then he read the contents.
They were shocking. VERY shocking. They were more shocking than a shock on shocks Tuesday.
"Dear Jack
I have found your musical talent from what you humans call the 'Internet'. I find it very stunning.
Therefore I have set up a meeting, at my castle in Canterlot.
I am interested in your musical talent and would like you on my side to make me music, which will include
EPs, albums and singles.
I will tell you further details when you get here.
The meeting starts at 9:30, a carriage will pick you up at 8:30, but you will need to be ready at 8:00,
The journey should take roughly an hour.

Jack slowly tried to process what he just read. It wasn't easy, then he yelled in surprise, not getting much attention at all from his yelling "Princess Celestia wrote me a letter?! ...Gee, I didn't expect she of all people- err.. ponies would send me a letter. She's a princess for *yay*ks sake!" He sighed and put the letter on the table in the porch, which was made of mahogany, like most of the wood in the house.
He looked briefly at the wallpaper of the porch, which was a simple blue background along with white clouds decorating and dotting the wallpapers background. He then looked at the floor briefly again, which unlike his bedrooms floor was not a brown carpet. It was a mahogany checkered floor, with rugs decorating it. He looked out of the window to see if anyone... err... pony was spying on him. No one was. He sighed in relief.
Jack then said to himself, more quietly "I'll read it again later."
He went to take a nap in his bed, going up the red stairs, sliding this time up the banister, defying gravity as a whole.
He discerned it to 'magic'. Once he got in his room, he closed the blinds and then he went into bed and slowly nodded off, as he lied on the white sheets, lying face-up, back on the bed, his face covered by the blanket. It helped that he didn't drink coffee before going to bed, as that would've probably kept him up. Then there was the fact he was a little tired anyways, so it would be easy. Once he finally fell asleep, he dreamt of Pink Fluffy Unicorns, Dancing On Rainbows. In total, he took around 40 minutes to fall asleep.

Okay, here are some disclaimers for ya.
I own Jack, and he is no way a self insert of me, or another person. I do not own MLP, that belongs to Hasbro.
I have not been writing for sometime and now I am hopefully back for good. Atleast for the meantime anyway.
Attempted comedy attempted in some parts of this first chapter.
The next day, Jack woke up at 7:30 AM, which gave him enough time to wash, get dressed and comb his hair.
He slowly got up from his nice, plaid bed and stretched his arms, taking off his shirt, revealing he was your average human. No muscles, and a bit of fat.
He sniffed himself and grimaced then went to the bathroom with his shirt.
He had left his bedroom's bed messy and the blinds still closed.
He started to wash especially under his arms, with soap and water, not using any fancy shampoos, etc. He wasn't royalty or anything so he didn't feel like he needed to bother.
Then he reminded himself he had a meeting with the princess. He used his 'special occasions' deodorant, to make him smell good. He then washed down his hair, making it wet and messy, he used a comb to straighten it out, looking at the mirror, once he was happy with it, he took his pants off and put his shirt and pants in the wash.
10 minutes later...
He got into his room and checked the clock. 7:55 AM. He had 5 minutes to get dressed.
He quickly got smart clothes on, including a suit, which suited him immensely. Then he grabbed an umbrella and looked at the clock again.
S*yay*. He needed to LEAVE, now.
He ran down the stairs and got a pair of black shoes on and a black smart jacket. He opened the door and locked the door once he was out.
It was a rainy day and no one was out at all, especially at this time of day. He decided to wait by the door with his umbrella, as the rain fell.
30 minutes later...
He watched as a gold lined carriage landed, pulled by 4 white ponies with wings, with golden armour on. He had heard these were called Pegasi, Pegasus, and Pegasuses. The rest of the carriage was made of wood and had the odd window.
Then he heard one of them speak, then a little louder with an 'Ahem'.
The 3rd guard of the 4 there said in a firm and loud voice "Sir, please come into the carriage."
Connor finally after a few minutes and prodding from the guards, was in the carriage.
He soon fell asleep on the nice cushioned seats of the carriage.
Meanwhile...

Lyra and Bon Bon were talking about the human they had seen around town, occasionally, and also that one incident when he had nodded off and Lyra tried to steal his legs and hands.
Lyra exclaimed and asked at the same time in a excited voice, "wait you saw the human!?"
Bon Bon asked with a raised brow, "yeah, he was entering a carriage a bit ago. Usually he comes into my shop every tuesday... Why?"
Lyra said, faking being glum and lieing through her teeth, "I just wanted to... A-apologise for what I did the other day?"
It was obvious she was lieing through her teeth.
Bon Bon sighed and asked, "ok... So you want him to experiment with, correct?"
Lyra said needing this and wanting this, "y-yeah..." She sounded ashamed and looked ashamed too.
Bon Bon then said, after a few seconds, "under any other circumstances I'd be furious, but he's the reason Im losing most of my stock..."
He had stolen stuff from her shop, however hadn't actually himself been there once. "Soooooo, lets catch him! Ill gladly help you out!"
Lyra exclaimed excitedly, grinning slightly, "r--really? Thank you!"
Bon Bon said sternly, "but... If were caught i didn't do anything!"
Lyra exclaimed with a smile, "of course!"
Bon Bon exclaimed, "good!" She rolled up her non existing sleeves, "lets catch a human!"
Soon Lyra and Bon Bon had developed a master trap! It was guaranteed to not fail!

Meanwhile, with Jack and the pegasi...
The pegasi heard snoring from in the carriage and most of them snickered. One of them said with a grin "Looks like our charge is asleep, sounds like it too."
The pony that said that looked inside and saw him sleeping, lying down.
Then that pony snickered again.
40 minutes later, it was 9:25.
They got him up and led him to the princess.
Who was waiting for him impatiently, as she couldn't wait.
Celestia, the princess, looked up and exclaimed happily, "Ah! There you are! I assume you know why you are here?"
Jack nodded and gestured at the guards, saying nervously, "Do you think we should talk about this alone?"
Celestia nodded herself, and said loudly, but not in a royal canterlot voice, "Leave us, Guards."
Celestia put her front hooves on the table she was sat at, with paperwork on.
The table was made of oak, and was extremely polished and looked absolutely beautiful.
He couldn't help but stare, at least for a few seconds.
"Before we do this, do you have any questions?" Celestia asked curiously.
Her hooves tapped against the floor impatiently as she waited impatiently. This was so exciting for her.
Jack nodded and answered, "First of all, what percentages do we both get, like a cut?"
Jack was eager to get this 'job' as it would probably pay his bills and then some.
"Well, that's quite simple. We both get an equal share, so both of us get 50% of the sales. I will take care of the advertisement, shipping, production and setting up live concerts."
Celestia answered, with a smile. A little too big, oops.
Jack looked at her a little scared. "Live... concerts?"
He had notable stage fright from school.
"Well, with your talent, I think you would immediately become an AAA star in the music industry. Therefore, you will need to do live concerts. Don't worry, I will be with you, all the way. I will fund the concerts and album, single, and EP recording, etc." Celestia said gently, but firmly at the same time.
Jack sighed and nodded. "Do I need to sign a contract?"
He thought to himself cynically 'Of course you need to sign a contract you moron.'
Celestia nodded. "Give me a second. Oh... Here it is."
She hoofed him a contract, and once he had read through it, he smiled and signed the contract.
One thing that he liked is that the first EP/album/single that he released through her, per group, would be the set deadline, and also she would give you extra time if you needed it, depending on how far along the EP/album/single was.
Celestia then looked at him as he handed her the contract back. She then exclaimed happily "Excellent! Well, I'll set up a recording studio for you, which should take a few days, and it should be in Ponyville. The carriage is waiting for you outside so you can go back home now. I'll contact you again when the studio is ready."
Jack nodded and went out, and back inside the carriage, and nodded off again, as the carriage started to take him back home.
