The Unwanted War

  "War, war is all I have ever known ever since I was a little filly." Sighed a pitch black Pegasus mare.

  "I have seen many innocent ponies die, ever since I became the captain of the royal guard. I have even  seen my own husband and daughter get assassinated, but I still serve under princess luna."  Said the dutiful dark tri-colored maned mare.

  The sound of somepony or someone approaching caught my attention, I looked over to see just  who it was and it was...

  "My, my  thought it would take more than a few years for you to break captain Midnight Gypsy." Said a somewhat impressed draconequus.

  "Oh shut up Discord."

  "Now why would I do that, even though I know that you are a master of King Blade."

  "What do you want and please get to the point."

  "Ok, ok I came to tell you that Solar Flame is leading the next charge, and is challenging your loyalty the entire way."

  The room suddenly filled with electricity.

"HOW DARE SHE!!!" I roared with the lightening storm voice.

  The door then opened revealing two of my guards.

  "Captain is everything alright." Asked the first one.

  "Oh yes, I'm fine." I rolled my eyes. "Anyway go gather the troops were marching out to battle in six hours sharp!!"

  Both saluted and shouted.

  "YES MA'AM." And toke off to do as they were told to do.

  "Her loyalty haha, you make me laugh, her head is shoved too far up my sister's plot." Shouted Solar Flame.

  "Haha... Whatever you say" Said one of the closest Warriors.

  "And I was just saying that she would be of some good for us to have that is all." Said another Warrior.

  "Hmmm... Maybe" Said a thoughtful fiery alicorn. "Just maybe."

"Captain Midnight Gypsy!!" Yelled princess Luna. "What do you think you're doing!?!"

"Keeping Solar Flame from killing you," I answered.

"Oh."

"So do we have an  understanding princess?"
