So, this is one of a few bonus things I will do to both A. Stall and B. Teach you ponies about stuff.

Yeah. So um, every name for anything that I've had to make up has some history behind it. Except for OCs. Well those are technically not mine, they're done a by a friend, MrBossMan. Anyways, so I will be updating this with every new Persona I add. This is where I will list the history of each of them. Spoilers abound. So if you want to try to figure it out yourself, stop reading now.

Lexis: Technically not a Persona, but I'm explaining anyways. If you remember her full name, then its obvious. Anyways, her full name (which I don't remember, and I wrote this XD) is like Intellexis Cognitare Calculatus or something like that. Which basically means Understand Think Calculate in Latin. And from the first part, I shortened Intellexis to 'Lexis. And just for added effect, in Greek, Lexis means Word. As in Lexicon. So um, yeah...

Canvas: Well, this one I don't think I have to explain. Wow. Um, next...

Virga: Okay, so this was actually originally going to be intended to be an OC, back when the fic was way different and would have nothing to do with Personas or anything like that at all. But, I kept the OC MrBossMan gave me, and thought up a different way to use her. Anyways, a Virga is a streak of rain or ice crystals that you can visibly see falling from a cloud, but evaporates or dissolves into the air before it ever reaches the ground. Pictures:

Kitalpha: So in the constellation Equuleus, which literally means in Latin "Little Horse," or pony, its brightest star is... you guessed it. Kitalpha.

So yeah, just these for now, because I don't want spoilers. The end list will be ridiculously long. I'll try to keep it simple.

EDIT: Okay, if you guys read the chapter thingy, scratch the parts about the new Magician persona. I realized that it'd make it too complicated, with there already going to be ** number of personas in the end, so um, I don't want to double that number. Oh wow that just gave it away. But, I'll list the personas I had planned, too, I guess.

Ignaculi: Okay, like the report above, this was a scratched character. Basically, ignaculi means "little light" in Latin. Its based off of the word igna, which just means fire, but the ending -culi is a diminutive, meaning "small fire". Like how a homunculus is a small human. Anyways, he was based off of that enemy dude from Mario that I can't find a picture of. And, last note, originally, Lexis was going to be named Ignaculi. I didn't like the name, however. This was going to be headed towards a kind of a "guiding light in the darkness" kind of thing.

Demise: Okay, so this was originally going to be RD's first persona. And- oh snap I got another dislike XD. Okay, back to thing. So anyways, as you all know, this persona is not in the story... But he was basically going to be Canvas. I scrapped it for reasons pertaining to plot relevance, and will not indulge such information until the time is right. (Ha!) Anyways, he is kinda the reason behind two things: why the hell Canvas rants about fear's manifestations and why Chapter 2, "To business!" is so short. There was originally going to be a really long scene with Demise playing matador with RD, blah blah blah, etc.

Zenith: is the point directly overhead you on a celestial body. Not Celestia's body. So, when the sun is at its zenith, if I had a stick, it would cast no shadow. Capice? Perfect 90 degree.

Erebus: Who was going to be named Nadir until I realized that'd be unoriginal (a nadir is the opposite of a zenith, point directly below). Erebus is Greek god of Darkness. Wow, a new black alicorn. Not only that, but THE first alicorn! And it was black! The first black alicorn! I didn't add to a terrible trend! Award me a fucking medal!

Ultor: Is Latin for- oh wait I'm not spoiling for plot relevance. I bet all of you are going to go search that up now. Damn you all. Well, I don't think it will cost to much to divulge due to the recent chapter. Ultor means "revenge" or "avenger". As in Mars Ultor. Mars, Roman (because they ripped off Ares, like every other god) god of war (not the game), had the title of "Ultor" as he avenged the Empire. Every god had a few titles. I don't know all of them. Like Hermes Trimegistus. Well that doesn't exactly count. Mercury Pompaeus. There. Will Psychopompus count? I don't know. By this point most of you are thinking I'm drunk right now. Go eat some bacon.

Vega: Is the brightest star in Lyra. The constellation. Umm, Lyra was never going to be a Persona wielder. I forgot why I even had this...

Epona: Is not just the name of Link's horse. I had this in play while Applejack was still a candidate to this story. I do not say she will never be in a sequel or anything though. Anyways, Epona was the Celtic goddess of Farming, Horses, Fertility, and Work.
