Apple star is a lone stallion trying to make a place for himself in the world, his mother applejack taught him all about the importance of apples and how even though they don't seem like much they are what keep ponyville going, he took it to heart and told himself that he's going to stay in the family business and take over sweet apple acres. It was a bright sunny day when his best friend Derpy Hooves asked him just how many apples could fit in his cart, he stacked and stacked and by night time he had over 1000 apples in one cart, a bright flash occurred and he looked at his flank, he had earned his cutie mark and was so happy his cutiemark has finally come.
