"... Hello? , miss?"
"... Are you alright?..."
My eyes open, and I take in what stood before me. There was a crowd gathered around me. A brown colt with a yellow mane and tail stood before me. He wore a worried look on his face.
"Where am I?" I had no memory of what happened, and no idea of how I got here.
The crowd gasped and parted as a light gray unicorn with a black mane and tail approached me.
"You are in the Survivors Camp, the only camp in all of Equestria that is still alive. I am Elegant Note, but you can call me Note. What is your name?" She asked.
"I... I don't know. I don't remember anything," I replied. The crowd gasped at, whispers flood through them.
"It appears that you have amnesia. We had found you knocked out in a run down farm. But you will recollect your memories eventually," Note said.
"What are you going to name yourself?" The colt asked.
"Name?" I questioned.
"Well, you don't remember your own name, so why don't you make up one," the colt said.
"Why don't you give me one?" I asked.
"Hmm... How about, Flaming Heart! Flaming, because it a part of my older sister's name, and Heart, because you seem like a passionate pony," the colt said.
"I like it. What's your name?" I asked.
"My real name?" The colt asked.
"Yes, your real name," I replied.
The colt fidgeted. "I... I don't really have one. My older sister told me that when I was born my mom died before she could name me. But everypony around here calls me Pippy."
"Oh, that's a nice name," I commented. "Well, since I'm new here anyways, could you show me around?"
"Sure! Since you're bunking with me anyways," Pippy replied.
I followed him down the hall to the room that we shared.
