Aegis fate and Lightning storm, both brothers of an unknown title and origin. Their mother, sadly passed away at birth, leaving them to be adopted by the loving heart of a passing Diamond Dog.

As young children they became the apprentices in the ancient Knightly order called Solar Templar. The Elite of Equestria's military and Celestia's personal Guard and enforcers.

But their training could never prepare them for what was to come…..

At the age of nineteen they are sent to the ancient land of Anugypt, home of the Zebras and several other races.

They are sent with their commanding Knight and seven others to help end the civil war that has plagued the once beautiful and strange land for several long years and put an end to its Tyrant king before he unleashes this conflict upon Equestria and its peaceful neighbors.

In this land they will learn its vast history, from the first Bastet kingdoms, to the reign of king Anubis, to recent events. And discover the strange technologies and magics that are native to this land. The history of the vast and mountainous deserts of the north and the endless grassy Savannah in the south, the strange beasts that roam there, and the people that inhabit them.

As they continue on this crusade they suffer through the brutal reality of war and the horrors that follow it. But through this bloodshed… they find something worth fighting for.

How long will they go until they fully break… and how will they hide the truth of their lineage from the rest of the world, and the horrid truth that lies within them.


The story is based fifty-five years(at the characters birth) and then thirty-seven years(Main story) prior to the events of MLP. I am using my own headcanon for Anugypt and other regions.
