The tale of the changeling 6.
"Today is the day that I introduce you to myself, and my friends." A strange, omnipresent voice said, as currently, the world was just a black endless plane.
The 'room' they were in was full of darkness. There was no light. It was endlessly dark.
"I am a changeling. I am part of the Changeling 6." The same strange voice said out loud, loud enough for you to hear clearly.
The 'room' brightened ever so slightly. You could almost make out 5 graves.
"We used to be many. An army of changeling rebels." The voice spoke like it was reading a story.
The 'room' brightened slightly more. You could see the graves, but not any of the names on those graves.
"...Then the ponies attacked us. We were only trying to stop the invasion. After 24 of us died, we were forced to flee." It spoke gently as if reading you a bedtime story. However, this 'bedtime story' would become dark, very, very quickly.
The 'room' brightened ever so slightly more. You could see the graves more. There was now a strange changeling, frozen in time, clutching his bloodied chest, the droplets of blood frozen in place.
"..." All became quiet. It was suspenseful, making you wait for the voice to continue speaking.
The 'room' was no longer brightened. On further investigation, as you looked at that changeling, it had a strange infinity shaped horn. It was heavily cracked, alongside its body.
"I....... I was sorry at first for them, then... I realised that feeling remorse was pointless. It would disable me from pushing ourselves far enough to stop the invasion." The voice sounded slightly afraid, yet still telling a story.
There was cracks all over the changelings body and wounds too. The changeling was still frozen in time.
"Right... I forgot. I was meant to tell you about my friends, not about what happened before the events of now." The voice sighed, still upset from before. But he was pushing it away.
The voice may have belonged to the wounded changeling. But you had no clue. Not yet anyway.
"This..." A shiny changeling with white, pearl like eyes appeared. "Is Mirror. He is capable of summoning mirrors at a whim. Then teleporting through them in order to manoeuvre. His job at the hive was, and still is being an Assassin." The said changeling did not move, nor make a sound. It was frozen in time.
It was one of the many changelings that died trying to stop the invasion.
Then, the voice spoke again, as if telling a story. In a way, he was. "This.." A dull looking, but sharp changeling, with glowing blue eyes, appeared.He had a scar covering one eye. It was the right one. "Is Triple Lightning. He is capable of firing 3 lightning bolts from each hoof at a whim. He is also our fastest changeling. He was, even when there was 30 of us." Again, the changeling that appeared was paralysed, unable to move or make a sound. And they weren't even awake or alive. It was frozen in time, just like Mirror.
And only **** **** survived.
Once again, the voice spoke. He silently asked if he had to keep doing this. He did. Because he was the leader. "This," An average changeling with glowing bright purple eyes, appeared. If it could move, it would be jumping about. Its horn was twisted, all about the place, yet solid. It had the occasional hole in the horn. "Is Unstable. He is a changeling who acts much younger than he actually is. He has short bursts of strong magic to help him fight." Once again, this changeling could not move, nor make a sound. It was completely frozen in time, just like the others.
Unstable was one of the 30 that died trying to stop Chrysalis.
"..." The voice stopped talking. He was thinking what to say next. "There are two left. After that is done, I will see you through this journey. Beware, as this journey is like no other, and you will come out of it changed. ...Are you ready for me to say who the last two are?" ...After a few seconds, the voice spoke again. "Alright. I'll take that as a yes. Brace yourself."
You braced yourself, but nothing would've prepared you for what would come.
"The next changeling," A blacker then black changeling appeared. Shadows seemed to come off him by the second. He had piercing dark purple glowing eyes. They seemed to glare into your very soul. You would feel scared if you actually had any presence in this world at all. You didn't. "is Zen. He can use dark magic, and summon darkness, and use dark magic as a weapon. He is the most dangerous changeling on our side." The voice spoke with firmness.
Despite his seemingly high status, he also died.
After a while, the voice spoke again. A smaller than usual Changeling appeared. A nymph. It had a cute small smile on its face, cyan glowing eyes on its face. It wouldn't stand a chance against the outside ponies if his friends couldn't protect him. They would do everything in their power to do that. "The second to last changeling I have to announce is my son. Phaseshot. He can turn unsolid, while saying in his usual shape. He isn't well trained due to his youngness. He has some magic." The final changeling appeared, frozen in time, unable to make a single move or sound. He died to a pony. You knew that, but you didn't know how. The voice sounded uncertain about telling you this. As if you would even be able to kill or harm one of them. In this world, you didn't exist.
The voice spoke up once more. "And now, I will tell you about myself." A bigger then normal changeling appeared, with a strange, infinity shaped horn. He had glowing yellow eyes. They seemed to resonate with power. "I am Tick Tock, leader of this group. I am able to manipulate time. I was the last to die."
You are only a spectator, forced to watch their journey.
"AND THEY ALL DIED."

The world was still in darkness. Tick Tock looked at you with his glowing golden eyes.
He looked afraid, angry, and... an unknown emotion.
He then asked you... "Are you ready to see it all? I'm certainly not."
As you nodded, he sighed. "Alright then. Don't say I didn't warn you."

"Watch out!" Triple cried, as Mirror narrowly dodged a large, sparking green fiery beam that illuminated the area briefly before it hit the ground.
The beam scorched the ground and made a large scorch mark. Things were getting ugly.
"We need to take these guys out!" Mirror yelled back at Triple, as he slit the neck of a changeling, using a mirror shard as a weapon, as the changeling was rushing at him. He then did a flip over another as Unstable cleverly blasted one with a purple blast. It melted away as the blast hit home.
The blast that Unstable had used had been a 'changeling killing spell'. Zen gouged out the organs of the changelings rushing at him with his dark magic with dark precision.
Zen wasn't going to stop, anytime soon.
"Mirror, flank Phase, NOW!" Tick Tock said as he saw some changelings rushing at them, Phase, the young changeling, specifically.
He was worried for his son, Phase. It would be a tragedy if Phase died.
Phase hid behind Mirror as he killed any changelings that rushed at him, specifically with his mirror shard. It was coated in changeling blood.
Green glowing changeling blood trickled off it and onto the ground, turning grass and gravel under their hooves, into neon green coated surfaces.
Drip. Drip. Drip. It kept dripping constantly as he used it as a makeshift knife.
He slashed at changelings that came too close, which usually was a quick kill. He was sharp, which was expected for an assassin such as himself.
Tick Tock used time magic to suspend a group of changelings that jumped at him, in the air. He then smashed them into another changeling, killing them by the sheer force he smashed them with. There was a unidentifiable mess caused by this there, black and green changeling bodies with bones sticking out everywhere.
He growled, wanting to end this invasion quickly. Of course, this would not be an easy feat. Even he knew that.
Triple threw several lightning bolts around at the changelings he was surrounded by. Phase was mute. Each lightning bolt hit home, electrocuting a changeling and stopping their hearts, knocking them down. He was precise and fast, his speed would likely make some pony proud. Or jealous.
He threw bolt after bolt, striking changeling after changeling down. ...Oops.
Tick Tock then looked in horror as one of the lightning bolts hit Unstable, stopping Unstable's heart. Tick Tock yelled. "Triple you, idiot!"
He yelled with fury at one of his comrades falling because of Triple's stupidity.
Triple groaned and responded. "Sorry, won't happen again." He dismissed Unstable's death like it was nothing. But it would affect them all.
Tick Tock yelled at his face. "SORRY?! You think 'sorry' will fix this?! You just bucking killed one of ours for Discord knows why!"
Triple groaned again and said in a deadpan voice. "Look. I won't be that foolish again. Leave me alone." He then forcefully pushed Tick Tock away.
This was only the beginning of their deaths.
Mirror said to Zen "Can't you heal him?" Zen growled "I wouldn't heal anyling here. I'm only here because I don't like Chrysalis."
Zen was very unsupportive of his own comrades.
He threw a changeling through a roof, killing it, but it got the attention of some ponies.
Zen had been a fool, so they needed to move, and FAST. They would rather not have to mess with ponies.
They started running away from the ponies as fast as they could. They would rather not have to fight a pony. Especially not with Unstable gone.
They would have 12% less chance of defeating them without him.
Triple yelled "Incoming!!", as a changeling tank flew at them. They all dodged out of the way, making it easy for the tank to crash into the pony horde.
They were only delaying the inevitable.
Phase asked as they ran for it, Mirror carrying Phase. "Where are we going?"
They all sighed at Phase's innocence. The ponies would likely not think the same as them.
Yet they would all have to fight the ponies. It was inevitable.
