Point of No Return

Six bodies stood before me. Not human bodies, pony bodies. I walked slowly through the room. I can't believe what I am seeing. The famous Elements of Harmony were lying before me. Each of them were destroyed in their own way. "Who did this?" I said through sobs. Seeing these beloved ponies like this brought me to tears. There was no sign of anything of what happened. I do remember a tall figure looking at me with red eyes and then I hit the floor, unconscious. I heard screams before my hearing finally ceased. But who could do this sickening act? The ponies just lied there, lifeless. Blood draining from their mutilated bodies, hair torn and ripped out of places, limbs torn off and some even burned. I felt dizzy and needed to escape to a hospital fast. I decided to make my way out of here. So I lit my lantern and started my way out. My head was throbbing now.

Finally, I made it to the exit. I pulled the doorknob, but it wouldn't budge. I pushed and pulled as hard as I could. I figured I needed a key to get out. But the only problem was the door was unlocked before. What is happening? Confused, I get on my knees and feel for the key. No luck. I get up and sigh deeply.

I decide to take a walk around the house. The floor creaked below me with each step I took. I kept telling myself not to be afraid. But as I entered the main kitchen, I heard a crying. Like a nervous and lonesome cry. I walk over to see the Element of Kindness. Her name was Fluttershy. Her hair was stained with blood, her left front leg was cut all the way up to her throat. Her cutie mark was almost unrecognizable with all the blood stained on her. Her tail was cut almost down to a stub. Her throat was slit.

"Why are you crying?" I said, kneeling down to her level. She looked into my eyes and I felt her cold stare. Her right eye was gouged out and her face was covered in bruises. Who did this to her, I thought. She coughed and retched as blood sprayed on my stained jeans. "They got me....they got me...." the weakened pegasus repeated. She tried to walk, but she just fell down and let out a shrill cry. "HELP ME!" She screamed. I was starting to feel bad. She was dead. What more could I do? I was deeply confused. She should be in the room still. She should be with the others. The pony took a few steps. She whimpered in pain when she stepped. Her leg bled a bit when her foot touched down and I could even hear a snap as she collapsed and stayed there, I followed her and sat down and stroked her. I was feeling worse now. My headache worsened, too. I should find the others. Maybe I can figure what is going on.

I took off to the rest of the big mansion., shutting the kitchen door to make sure Fluttershy would stay. The rain poured outside and thunder and lightning shook the house. I went into the TV room and noticed the old-fashioned TV was on static. It echoed throughout the whole room. I looked around and noticed a shaking figure on the couch. I walked closer to figure out what the shivering creature was. With a little bit of effort, I saw it was Rainbow Dash. Her left eye was swollen shut, her leg was bruised beyond healing, and her ear was practically bitten off. There was a deep cut in her throat. She gave one look at me. Her eyes were bloodshot. "You...did this?" She asked me. I shook my head no in reply as her eyes relaxed a bit. But before I could think further, I was forced and pinned to the ground by the mare. Her jagged teeth were dripping with blood as her tongue was cut off. "You ruined us!" She breathed heavily as I tried to roll away. The words that emerged from her mouth were distorted because of her missing tongue. Her grasp was too hard to escape, so I tried to calm her down. "I said I didn't!" I shouted. But as I shook, I heard a vase crash. In stumbled Rarity. She was mumbling to herself, and her eyes were both gouged out. She was blinded by whoever did this. They did that to the once beautiful dressmaker. She bumped into me until Rainbow Dash went over and helped her. I had to get back to Fluttershy to make sure she is okay. I picked up Rarity in my arms and stroked what was left of her mane. Rainbow Dash followed, only because I had Rarity. She hated me as far as I could tell. But we made it back to the kitchen safely.

I placed Rarity down on my jacket near the fridge. The fridge only had a few fruits in it, and there were only some bowls and cups in the cabinet. I filled them with water and tried to help out the three damaged mares in front of me. Rarity just sat without a word and managed to take a few sips. Her lack of sight was quite the disadvantage now for her. Fluttershy was in my lap and was wrapped up in one of the few blankets I found. Rainbow Dash was in the corner. She grumbled and growled in her sleep. I had to leave and find the other three. So I left the girls in the kitchen and set out on my journey.

The bedroom was the first place I looked. There on the bed was Twilight Sparkle. She looked at me and sat right up. "Who are you?" She said. Her horn was broken off, her whole body covered in burns, and her hair cut unevenly. Her right leg was cut right off. Blood still seeped from it. "I am going to bring you to your friends. I am not the enemy." I spoke softly to her. She looked just as confused as I was. "Where am I?" She said. She started to cry. I wrapped the blanket from the bed and grabbed every pillow I could find. As we headed to the kitchen, I found the other two I needed to find: Applejack and Pinkie Pie. Applejack was standing near Pinkie Pie, who was eating what looked like a human leg. Where did that come from? I led them to the kitchen and tried to help them. I wrapped them up in the blankets. Pinkie Pie had her hair chopped almost off, her front leg so cut her bones were showing, her rips poking out, and her ear cut off. Applejack had a black eye, her stomach burned, and her whole stomach ripped out. Pinkie Pie ate the hunman leg and kept making pleased noises, Applejack was questioning me and protecting her friends.

The only question I had now was why are the girls still alive? What is in the room where I found the ponied dead? Half of me was saying to go back but I the other half was telling me to say and help out these ponies. Fluttershy was calling out for someone to help her no matter what I did to her. Applejack wouldn't let anyone near her side of the kitchen, Rainbow Dash kept threatening her, Twilight was asking herself questions, Rarity just sat knowing that if she got up, she would spill her water, and Pinkie Pie was growing tired of eating human flesh as she called out for more human. I decided that maybe the bathroom would have some bandages for me and the injured ponies. So again, I locked the kitchen door and lit my lantern.

I entered the living room when my headache was making me weak and sick. I had to lie down. The couch was covered in blood, so I couldn't sit there. By the time I could find somewhere to sit, I fell unconscious. My pain was too much for me to take.

I woke up in a different place. I had to look around to realize where I was. Blood on the walls and rug, furniture toppled over, and the smell of rotting flesh made me realize I was in the room I was headed before. It looked like the study room. There was a bookshelf with only a few books and a desk. I sat up and noticed my hair was covered in blood. My leg had a long cut on the side that went from my ankle to my thigh. The pain kept me from getting up. But as I started to get up off the floor, the floor gave out and I fell through.

The drop must have been about 40 feet or so. I hit the ground and a whole wave of pain swept over me. Nothing broke, but it sure felt like it. I sat up and got on my feet to see a familiar figure: the rather tall and beautiful Princess Celestia.
No...it wasn't Celestia.
There was something about her that irked me.
She glared at me and stomped her hoof down. The impact sent me back to the floor. "You!" She said. Her horn started to glow as my eyes widened with fear. I felt myself being lifted up off the hard wood floor and into the damp cold air. I started to tremble in fear. "I have you now. Your precious Elements of Harmony can't help you now," She said with a loud boom in her voice. This can't be Celestia. "I got them out of my way!"
She killed the Elements of Harmony.
She's not the real Princess Celestia.

I had to think fast. There was a knight in shining armor statue by the bookshelf. A sword leaned next to it. I might be able to kill Celestia. It's a long shot, but if it stops this madness and gets me out of here, I'll do it. She let me drop to the floor. I bolted to the knight and grabbed his sword. It was a bit heavy, but I held it with both hands. This is my time. I have to save Equestria.

I run to Celestia. She sees what I am doing and she pounces at me before I can hurt even the tiniest bit of her. She grinds her hoof into my stomach and I can feel my insides pounding. My leg starts to throb and tears start gathering from all the pain. But I grab the sword with all my power and I drive the sword through her head. Her eyes widen and become still as her legs give out and she falls to the floor.
I just killed Celestia!

I drag myself to the chair by the desk and lie there. I wipe the blood with a piece of my jeans and wipe my hair from my eyes. The pain was going to make me faint. I try to shut my eyes, but they are burning from the tears. I manage to drift off without any more thought.

"Is she okay?"
"What is that?"
"Why is a human girl on Earth?"

I awoke to see the Elements of Harmony standing over me. They looked healthy. Fluttershy looked at me and smiled. "Oh, you're awake!" She said with her feathery and light voice. "What happened?" I asked groggily. "Today is the one year anniversary of the death of Princess Celestia. She was killed by a human girl just like you." Rarity told me. "You are the only human in Equestria, remember?" Pinkie Pie said as she hopped over to me. "Oh, right." I said. "Lets get you washed up, you are covered in dirt." Twilight Sparkle said to me. I got up and noticed my jacket was still on, my leg was magically healed, and my headache was gone. It's like it never happened. We headed back to the library where I can be safe now. I still am filled with questions that will never be answered.
