The Letter from a Princess.
Dear Mr President. Welcome. I hope this letter finds you well.
I have read your letter you sent me via Fire Magic and in all fairness i could not allow my subjects who are largely Kind and good hearted to meet with you humans on any level. You see, since you have contacted me here on Equestria. I have carefully scanned your world of Earth over a period of 3 years with my powers and i don't like what i'm finding.
You humans are both friendly and savagely violent while the friendly part is something i can accept, its the savage part that gives me pause for worry. You humans like to think yourselves as heroes but your trail of destruction on your world suggest otherwise. It seems to me that your moral code largely depends your nation level of advancement, the more advanced the nation is the more it is inclined to more helping others, but less advance the nation is the more inclined to bully others especially its own subjects. I also noticed with great sorrow you seem revel in your capacity for violence; Its in your books, Lot of your TV shows, Your Movies, and your comic books. We Equestrians engage in combat very reluctantly and only if the reason is really good enough. Unfortunately you humans engage in combat with a zeal that is shocking.
I also find that many of the bad humans be it Individual or Government treat their subjects with a cold hearted brutality and thoughtlessness i find frightening. I see can some of my ponies falling victim to these bad men out of sheer innocence not knowing any better of who they are and also having no experience on how to deal with that aspect of your kind So the question for my ponies is telling the good ones from the bad ones. This will hard for my ponies; to them humans will look all the same regardless of skin color and clothing you will wear at the place and time. This will make them easy targets for these bad people and those that follow their path in life.
Another thing i noticed about your people is your capacity for greed. Equestria is abundant with natural resources. Reason for this is simple: We work with nature rather than against. Your people on their other hand are exact opposite of us; to you nature is something to be exploited as you see fit but look what it has cost you in terms of health, Resources and life expectantcy. The price for your exploition has been steep. Like violence i can see my ponies falling for unscrupous humans. Now granted this might not be the case from some ponies but for most? It is. I makes me wonder if you humans would stop consider that Equestria's natural wonders is important to us or would you just wander in and just start cutting trees while threatening us with technological superiority that you humans have. I don't know if you are mature enough as species to keep a handle, frankly i have my doubts.
There's your One True God religion. This part scares the daylight of me. Not the belief itself, its the lengths you'll go to push it onto other people.I can see your missionaries doing this to my ponies and doing everything in their power to convert them. This brings me to another concern i have, Note, we go back to the aforementioned: Violence, Greed and Cruelty. I've noticed that in my scans of your species, religion and these negative aspects seem to entwine with each other. While this not always the case there's enough of it to bother me on many levels because it baffles me that on the one hand you're good but on the other your extremely dangerous.
Your Technology is another point i'd like to raise. While it offers you many wonderful things it seems to me that your moral side has trouble keeping up with it. Only time will if your better half will surpass your technological side. I hope it will.
I'm not saying all humans are bad, many are quite good. As i'm horrified at humanity feats of War, cruelty, greed and the lengths you will go, i'm equally amazed at capacity for goodness and the equal lengths you will go. Take your 9/11 for example, a terrible evil happened in your United States on that sad day, but rather than falling apart that the evil doers where hoping for, your country banded together and rose above it despite the horror of what happened, I applaude you for that. I'm also surprised how you humans will go out of way your way to help lesser species as well as each other. Its the same with natural disasters. You'll come together to fight that situation and bring aid if needed. It surprises me on what you'll do when natural disaster strikes, or Eco damage occurrs how you'll band together to fix it. You'll hidden dangers to help isolated populace in need. You'll go out of your way to help lesser species in trouble as well. I applause this as well.
I have talked about the response i was going to make with my co ruler and after lenghty discussion must i agree with her view point. So its with a cautious heart that i must decline your request for first contact. Until you humans get your darker savage side and all its aspect under control i cannot allow it to happen. I do this for the sake of my ponies. I do it yours as well. For at this point, the risks outweight any positive gain. I will be watching you to see what progress you will make towards enlightment as will my co ruler.

Barak Obama sat in the oval office reading the Princess' response to a letter he sent last week. He had hoped the 2 worlds would engage in meaningful dialog, but her response crushed that.
"Damn, well, that as they say is that." He said.
"She did say she and co ruler will be watching us".Joe Biden replied
"She did, didn't she."
"Think she'll watch the elections?"
"Joe? If she did, she'll probably kick her viewing globe out the window from pure disgust.?
