//-------------------------------------------------------// Elder Scrolls VI:Equestria -by Starlight_Glimmer1267- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Arrival //-------------------------------------------------------// Arrival "MUL, QAH, DIIV!" The dragon born, Hadvar a Nord, shouted at the air, instantaneously an ethereal glow started to form around his outline. Revealing itself to be an entire suit of mystical dragon bone armor. Shimmering with the souls of the dragons used to create the shout. "You will never overtake my kingdom!" Hadvar yelled, his voice boosted by his Thu'um. He stood at the steps of the royal palace of Skyrim. Facing off with an ancient, evil spirit. With his deeds to Skyrim and the emperor killed by his hand, but no one knew this except the remaining Dark Brotherhood, the people gave Hadvar the title. Everyone loved his rule, he was the kind of ruler to take action. Not sit behind stone walls and let others fight his battles. "Only time will tell Qahnaarin!" Haymich the Terrible shouted as his army formed just outside. Haymich was a very powerful archmage, hellbent on conquering the world. His army has grown to a considerable size from the six other nations he has already captured. Totaling around 26,000. "And I tell time what to say!" His army started to charge forward, leaving only him standing to defend his country, his homeland, and in a way. To defend himself, Skyrim had become a part of him in his many perilous journeys. No matter how bad the situation was. He wouldn't trade this for anything. This was what he loved to do, defend the weak, and protect others. If he had to sacrifice himself to do so then so be it. He would not be happier to oblige. But that would not be today, or anytime soon. He ran past, slicing and dicing anything that came to close. Eventually he reached Haymich, who was in the middle of it all. The entire army closing around him, the last barrier to conquer the world. If he fell, Skyrim would be in their control. Skyrim is the key, if their are no goods going in and out of it it will be very hard for the rest of the planet to get what they need. And one by one they will surrender. Hadvar swung his sword down as hard as he could on Haymich. A blinding flash of light appeared in front of him, he shielded his eyes from fear of going blind. He continued his swing thinking it was a trick. A few seconds later he heard his sword connect. But not with a skull, that is a sound he is all too familiar with. This was his sword striking wood. He quickly opened his eyes and saw he was in some kind of orchard. You would think wearing the nightingale mask would make it hard to see, but it actually improved his vision. He turned his head and saw apple tree after apple tree in perfectly symmetrical rows. He pulled his sword out of the trunk and looked around some more in the pitch black darkness. He noticed a large barn over in the middle of it all and what looked like a small horse going inside. He thought it was his best chance to find out where he was. So naturally he walked toward the beacon in the wilderness. About thirty seconds after he started walking he arrived at the front door. *Knock,Knock,Knock* Hadvar banged in the door. He noted it was much smaller than any barn door he had ever seen. "I'll get it!" A little girls voice sounded from inside. The door slowly opened and a little yellow horse with a bow in its hair stood there with a pure look of terror on its face. It quickly screamed and shut the door. He was surprised to say the least, but he had seen worse than talking horses. "Who was it Applebloom, its rude to slam the door in somepony's face." He heard an older voice from inside. "Its a m-m-m" She said. "Well spit it out." He heard. "A monster!" She yelled, he heard the sound of hoofsteps running. "Don't be silly." It said slowly opening the door. "Theres no m-m-m-monster!" She slammed the door and ran inside. "Hello?" Hadvar asked. "It's the mask isn't it. It can be a little misleading with the whole blank eyes thing." "Ya don't sound like no monster ah know." The voice came again. "Oh, I'm no monster. Sorry for the confusion." He said taking off the mask as the pony opened the door and peeked out. He gave her a friendly smile and waved. "You don't look like any monster  ah know." She fully opened the door now. "Yea, sorry for the misconception. Can you tell me where I am?" He asked. "Right now your on mah farm." The door was fully open and she was leaning on the side of it. "Can you be... Less specific?" He asked. "Your in Equestria, names Applejack. Nice to meet you Mr.?" She asked. "Hadvar, just Hadvar." He told her. "We can't just leave you out here, you'll catch a cold." She told him. "How about you stay here for the night and you can go tomorrow, ya don't seem that bad." "Cold! Are you crazy, I'm about to have a heat stroke!" He yelled. All he has ever known were the cold barren tundras of Skyrim. Never exceeding around twelve degrees. "Still, its a matter of principle." She said. "No, I can't possibly take advantage of your hospitality." He told her shaking his head. "No, I wouldn't be able to sleep tonight if I leave you out here, and besides. The least ya can do is apologize for scarin mah sister." She said. "I can't thank you enough for your generosity." He said. She walked inside and beckoned for him to come in. "And I also have somepony I want you to meet tomorrow." She told him as he walked in. "And if ya don't mind helping me with some work tomorrow." "Not at all." He said. The second he stepped inside he noticed two things. Number one, it was much larger on the inside than the outside. Number two, this place was filled with foreign magic. He had no idea what it was, he just knew it was there. "Applebloom, I have somepony here who wants to apologize!" She yelled up the stairs. "Do ah have to?" She asked, peeking around the corner of the stairs. "Yea, it will just take a second." She said. Applebloom seemed reluctant to go down the stairs at first, then she saw how nice Hadvar looked without the mask. Not the scary monster she saw before. She walked over to him and he bent down to make eye contact. "I'm truly sorry for frightening you, I hope you can forgive me." He told her. "Ah forgive you." She said quietly. She quickly turned and ran up the stairs before peeking down one more time. "So where will I sleep tonight?" He asked. "Well, Big Mac and Granny are out of town for a while, so I guess you can sleep in Mac's room." She told him. "Alright, can you please show me to my temporary quarters. Unless you want to discuss anything further." He said. "Sure, we can talk wen your helping me tomorrow." She walked over to the stairs and he followed. The walked up, turned a corner and walked into a room. The bed looked just big enough for him to fit in. "So I'll go now and give ya your privacy. If ya need anything I'm three doors down the hall. Don't hesitate to asked." She told him. "That won't be necessary." He told her as she left the room. "Still, don't hesitate." She left and closed the door. He immediately started to undress and lay down. After a moment or two he drifted off to sleep. "Rise and shine sleepy head!" That same yellow filly ran in and jumped onto the bed. "Applejacks waitin for ya outside." She turned and ran out the room. Leaving Hadvar to get dressed. He put on his nightingale armor and proceeded outside. When he opened the door he saw the orange mare bucking trees. "Need a little help!" Hadvar yelled. "Your finally awake. I've been waiting fir ya." She yelled, motioning with her hoof for him to come over. He ran over to her as fast as he could. "Whats the job were doing today?" He asked. "Today, were harvesting all these apples." She told him, pointing into the for reaches of the orchard. "I have a much faster way." Hadvar told her. "I heard Applejacks making some very special apple cider today." Rainbow said flying around Twilight. "Yea, it's supposed to be her best batch yet." They both changed their flight pattern and turned to Sweet Apple Acres. *FUS, RO, DA!* Came very loudly from that direction. "WHAT WAS THAT!?" Rainbow asked. "I don't know, but I don't think its the wind!" Twilight yelled, bolting with Rainbow toward the site of the noise. "Wow Hadvar, that was the fastest harvest we ever had!" Applejack told him. "What was that anyway?" "The voice." He told her. "You'll have to explain 'the voice' to me sometime, fir now looks like we have incoming." She said. Hadvar looked up and saw two blurs flying toward their position.
