It's been two years since the young pegasus summoner, Fluttershy, and her guardians defeated Sin, saved Spira from the endless destruction it caused for a thousand years, and brought the Eternal Calm. Though peace did come in the suffering world, things aren't as calm as they're supposed to be. Two factions fight against each other over the teachings that brought Spira to its destruction and living freely without them. Along with this confrontation, secrets Bevelle had been hiding from the world will come to light as they seem to be hiding something that nopony knew about.

Now, it is up to the ex-summoner, Pinkie Pie, and a new member of the group to not only figure out Spira's true past, but also stop this new threat. But the pony leading this new plan of destruction is somepony she knows, but has changed. In more ways than one. Can Fluttershy save Spira once again, or will her emotions prevent her from stopping the pony she loves?
