It was almost to the destination; Equestria. Gunnery Sergeant Daniel C. Johnson's squad were heading to the island nation on commander's orders. The commander ordered both squads to rendezvous with Princess Twilight for orders. The whole ride, Daniel was thinking about this war and how it had happened. The Chinese President, Jin Jié, was assassinated by Admiral Chang Wei's order so he could go into power. He then proceeded to blame the United States for the death, causing this whole war. After replaying that a few times and let it sink in his mind, he realized that the Venom's were already 2 Mikes from Equestria. Daniel grabbed his M249 and puts his Alice Pack on. "Get your gear ready, we will arrive in 2 Mikes to our destination." The squad gets their gear ready. Two mikes later, the helicopter are hovering over Ponyville. The Venom's slowly land, until they completely touch the ground. The squad climbs out of the helicopter, and Dan waves it off. The Venom began hovering again, then it leaves the ground, and begins flying off. Location: Ponyville, Equestria, 0914 Hours Ponies were staring at the squad, who were walking down the street. They've seen Humans before, but never military ones. Daniel and the others heard people whispering. From ponies saying how much stronger they looked compared to Royal Guards, to other ponies saying how they look weak, which they would usually ignore, but this comment strait up pissed Maxwell off. "We look like apes?" Private First Class Maxwell J. Geoffrey asked a bystander, who said out loud how they look like overgrown apes wearing speckled clothes. "Sure as hell did, you got a problem?" This stallion obliviously disliked Humans. "Private, stand down." Daniel ordered, but he wasn't listening. "Yeah, I got a problem. You realize that..." before Maxwell could finish, Sergeant Daniel covered his mouth with his hand. "Dammit Private, I order you to stand down! Is that clear?" He uncovered Maxwell's face. Maxwell inhaled as if he just dived in a swimming pool. He cleared his throat. "Affirmative, Serge. Sorry, Serge." "So, where are we heading, Sergeant?" Private Second Class Kyle J. Anderson asked. "Princess Twilight's castle, she'll be briefing us for our mission. As far as I know, it's not life-threatening... I hope." "You hope? Why are we here then if there's no danger?" Staff Sergeant Michael K. Sanders asked. "Apparently, this is an 'issue of utmost importance,' and we need to go check it out." "Why would the Chinese or the Russians even attack Equestria? There's nothing here to waste ammo or money on." Says Corporal Andrew S. Franklin. "That's what you think, Corporal." Daniel stops in his tracks. He looks up, only to see the Castle of Friendship. "Well, we're here... don't make a fool out of yourselves... Lieutenant." he whispered that last part so Max didn't get upset. He was easily offended. The squad walks down the path to the castle and up to the door. Daniel lifts his hand up and knocks the door. A second later, the sound of muffled, but understandable voices began talking. "Spike can you get the door?" It was princess Twilight. "Will do!" Twilight's assistant, Spike responded. A few seconds later, the door opened, revealing a baby dragon, who was obviously surprised to see five Humans wearing MARPAT and carrying guns. "Um... Twilight?" "Yes, Spike?" Twilight said from somewhere in the castle. "The soldiers are here." "THERE HERE?! ALREADY?!?!?! I HAVEN'T GOTTEN READY YET!!" she yelled. The purple dragon looked up at the squad. So much for a rendezvous. "You can come in, she'll be ready in a few minutes." A few minutes have gone by, and she finally shows herself. "Sorry for the inconvenience, I wasn't expecting you to arrive so early." Twilight says as she walked over to your squad. "No worries, ma'am. So, Commander gave us the motion to arrive here, saying you had orders from the other princesses, something of 'utmost importance'?" Daniel said in a firm voice. "Indeed. As you know, Equestria has high levels of metal ore and oil, which is in demand for the enemies. We are the only country who has this much natural resources, and Princess Celestia fears that they will target us." she says in a almost fearful voice. "She gave you the order to protect..." before she could finish the mission order, sirens began to go off outside. "Aw shit!" Daniel hears Andrew say as he looks out the window. "There's a bomber!" Daniel walks to the window, to see a Xian H-6 Chinese bomber plane heading towards Equestria. It is about 1 kilo out, and coming in fast. "Oh no..." Twilight says to herself. "Michael, radio into base, NOW!" Daniel commanded. "Affirmative." Michael pulled a radio out of his pocket and began to radio in.  "Be advised, Equestria is under attack. I repeat, Equestria is under attack. Chinese bomber is heading towards Equestria, send air units asap, over." "Affirmative. Sending two F-15 Eagles to your location, over." After fire-base responded, Michael put the radio beacon back in his pocket. "Air support is coming." Michael said. "Good, now Ms. Sparkle, are there any bomb shelters in Ponyville?" Daniel asked. She nodded. "There's one across Ponyville." far, but you have to take the chance. "Alright, then what are we waiting for? Let's go! NOW!" Barging through the castle doors, the Squad, Princess Twilight, and Spike all began running, but then stopped in their tracks. Looking up to towards the sky, they see the bomber, which was now over Equestria. Looking back down, Daniel saw the residence of Ponyville in panic, and were frantically heading towards the bomb shelter as well. But looking up at the bomber, Daniel realized it wasn't heading near Ponyville, it was heading towards the capital of Equestria. The bomber was now over Canterlot, and the bomber's cruise missiles began to fire. One by one, the missiles hit the streets of the capital, causing mass destruction, even though firing two at the town. The bomber is obviously saving the others for the large castle where the two Princesses are currently residing in. Suddenly, a barrage of cruise missiles are shot at the base of the castle. All were direct hits. The castle slightly shakes during the explosions. The castle begins to tilt, causing the base of the castle to crack every foot it shifted. It began tilting faster, and faster, until it couldn't take it anymore. The castle began collapsing on the streets of Canterlot, hitting the ground with a big BANG. The boom could be heard from Ponyville, causing all the residence to look at the large column of smoke rise up from their capital. It was in ruins. Daniel knew the death count was going to be massive, possibly including the two princesses. "CELESTIA!!!! LUNA!!!" Twilight screamed. The carnage wasn't over. Daniel heard the familiar sound of jet engines. He looked up expecting to see the F-15's, but was terrified to see not one, but four Q-5 Fantan's flying strait towards Ponyville. Two fortunately branched off from formation to attack other towns, but still, two wasn't good. Not at all... "RUN!" Daniel commanded, and the group booked it to the shelter. As the group was sprinting, one of the Fantan's lined up to Ponyville and began firing its cannons. While not hitting the streets, a line of explosions and smoke was seen cutting through the houses to the left. Debris and smoke shot up from the explosions. The second Fantan lined up, this time to the streets. "SIDEWALK, GO GO GO!" Good call. As it was firing, the Fantan dived down almost to the roof level of Ponyville. The same line of explosions and smoke filled the street, the group covering their faces as dirt, and smoke were launched towards them. The group got back on the streets and began booking it again. The second jet came back from the right side, cutting the street in half with a barrage of bullets. Daniel's heart was racing at an extraordinary rate. He'd never been in a situation like this. "I see the bunker!" Princess Twilight yelled. The Fantan's came back for another gun, but they decided it was best to use the missiles. The Fantan's flew back towards Ponyville, and the rocket barrage began. One by one, missile's hit the streets and building's, causing them to collapse on their own weight. They were almost to the the bunker. So close... Suddenly, one of the Fantan's started... Sparking, then smoking, until the jet exploded. The plane crashed into a building. Looking up, Daniel saw it. "AIR SUPPORT IS HERE!" Daniel yelled. The two F-15's flew side by side. They dove down about 20 m above Ponyville. They finally spotted the Q-5 Fantan, and began hot pursuit with the it. The jet was oblivious to the fact the two jets were currently followng it. It was time to kill it. The F-15's both locked on to the jet at the same time. When the jet's were completly locked on, the F-15's each shot two missiles at the Fantan. Each rocket hit the target, and the plane lost control and began to steer towards the ground. Before the pilot could eject, the plane crashed into the street, causing a huge explosion to go off. Still running, the group was so close to the shelter. Finally, they got to the shelter. Daniel opened the door and let everyone in. Looking up, he saw the F-15's searching for the other two Fantan's. When everyone entered the shelter, Daniel slammed the door shut. Daniel panted. "Everyone... alright?" fortunately, everyone was fine. Most of Ponyville's population got into the bomb shelter, as well. Andrew began speaking. "Serge... I think... Equestria is at war with China." "Indeed." A feminine voice said. Turning around, the squad instantly stopped moving. It was both Princess Celestia and Princess Luna, totally fine. "Well, I'll be damned," Kyle began. "you guy's actually survived that... incident?" "Why yes, of course. We simply teleported out before the castle collapsed." Princess Luna answered. "Apologies for the castle, this shouldn't have happened. Anyways, so Equestria is at war with China now?" Daniel asks. "Well... not exactly. Equestria's army, unlike yours, isn't that large, and isn't as advanced as the Chinese forces." Celestia answered. "Don't worry, we got your back. Now... I think it's safe to go outside." Daniel grabs the handle of the door, turns it, and pushes the door open. "Well, this operation was a Charlie Foxtrot." Maxwell said. That was military slang for Cluster Fuck.
