Caring has been on a adventure to visit every location in Equestria. He's been to the big area's like: Canterlot and Manehattan for example. But he's exploring the small places in Equestria, the places nopony could find, and he found one. He found a village in the middle of nowhere. "That's a small village." He says looking at it from a mountain view. "It looks like it's abandon. I'll take a look." Caring gets to the village and sees identical houses on both sides of him then all of a sudden it starts to rain. "I need to seek shelter." Caring runs to a nearby house and knocks on the door.
"Oh hello." A mare opens the door and greets Caring.
"Hi miss. Is it okay if I stay here for awhile until the weather calms down?" Caring asks.
"Sure. Make yourself at home." The mare says.
"Thanks." The mare lets him in. "I forgot to introduce myself, my name is Caring Slash."
"Nice to meet you Caring." They shake hooves. "My name is Starlight Glimmer, I formed this village myself."
"There's ponies living here!" Caring says shocked. "I thought this place was abandoned or something?"
"No. They didn't notice you? Thats odd. Usually when we see a new pony come to town we always greet them."
"Ok. Nice Cutie Mark." Caring says pointing at it.
"Oh thanks."
"No problem and how did you get your Cutie Mark?" Caring asks.
"Making everypony I met equal." A loud clap of thunder interrupts Caring and Starlight's conversation.
"Nice." Care says.
"Why don't you stay here for the night. I have a spare bedroom."
"Sure. Thank you."
"It's no problem." Starlight shows Caring the spare bedroom.
"It's nice- wait a minute." Caring stops mid-sentence and notices the ceiling dripping. "Hey. Looks like you have a leak." Caring points it out. "It's dripping on you."
"Don't worry. I got it." As she starts to fix the ceiling, Caring notices something different with her Cutie Mark as rain drips on it, it's not a equal sign.
"What the?"
Starlight looks around confused. "What?" She notices whats wrong and looks back to Caring. "Oops."
"What the-" Starlight tackles punches Caring right in the jaw causing him to fall unconscious.
Caring wakes up and finds himself tied down to a chair. "What!" He tries to break free with his magic but he can't. "Why is my horn not working?" Caring's been sucked dry of his magic. He tries to call for help. "Hello! Is anypony here!?"
"Yes there is."
"Who said that!?" A mare comes into Caring's view. "Starlight!"
"Looking for something?" She holds a jar with Caring's Cutie Mark in it.
"What!" He looks down at his flank and sees his Cutie Mark is a equal sign. "What did you do to me...my cutie mark!?"
"Let's just say.....your not getting this back anytime soon." Starlight says looking at his cutie mark. "Your staying here.....forever." Starlight laughs maniacally.
"Why can't I use my magic!?" Caring tries to break free using his hooves.
"You've been sucked dry of all your magic, in fact you won't be able to break free using hooves because your too weak." Starlight laughs maniacally again.
Caring growls. "I'm not weak!"
"Now I have to hypnotize you to become one of ponies who stay and live in this village with equality, no magic, and a smile on your face." She laughs maniacally again and walks off.
"Wait! No! Come back!" Starlight comes back.
"What!"
"Can you.....tell me why your doing this please."
"I guess I could. When I was a little filly I had this friend named Sunburst, he was my best friend....." Starlight looks at the ground with a sad look on her face. "...then we got his Cutie Mark his parents took him to Canterlot and I was left without a friend....." Starlight starts to cry. Caring looks down with a sad look on his face.
"I'm.....so sorry." Caring feels bad about the whole situation. "You know.....you don't have to steal ponies Cutie Marks and hypnotize them to so you can have friends."
"What?"
"You can make some friends instead of doing this.....ain't right."
"B-b-but I don't know how."
"Have you tried hanging out with anypony when you were a filly or up to the present day?"
"No. I just stayed at home and cried when I was a filly.....so up to this day I make friends by stealing ponies Cutie Marks and hypnotize them so I can have them forever..........I'm messed up!" Starlight starts to cry even more.
"It's okay. Were all messed up in special ways. But you can change."
"I can."
"Yes. You can change...and I will help you. In fact I think you just made a new friend." Caring says with a smile.
"I have." Starlight says.
"Yep. Me."
"You." Caring nods and Starlight jumps onto Caring with a hug. "Thank you. I'll change. I'll change for the better."
"Your welcome."
"Here." She gives Caring's his Cutie Mark back and he breaks free from the ropes.
"Thank you Starlight." Caring says.
