TPATS; Swords of the Sisters.
It has been ten years. Ten years since Epic won, and ten years since Gilia died. He was walking around the tribe village. And he was bored out of his mind. {When am I going to have an adventure? It's been too long...} he was in charge of the village now because of his burth conditions. And how much it bored him, paperwork here, town meeting there and all around no fun. He had managed to score a day off, so he used it to explore. The village never changed. He was planning to expand the reach the village had by making more in other parts of the valley.
"Mr. Mayer? Can I speak with you?" Epic turned to see his assistant walking to him. His assistant was a grey pony with gold eyes and purple hair. Her name was Lightning Quill.
"Ugh, what do you want? I'm kind of enjoying my day off." Epic replyed.
"Some of the residents want to know what you did with the old leader."
"I scared him off, I don't and will not kill unless necessary, and that is almost never."
"So he is still out there?"
"Yes."
"The residents want his head."
"I can cut it off, but he would just get angry. He used Minion on himself and me. You can't kill us."
"Oh..."
"Yeah, no way to kill me or him. I tried to put some light inside him, but the darkness of his heart is too strong. For now."
"How do you know that?"
"Trust me, that's what you need to do. In order to work together, we must understand one another. That's why I got you a day off on the same day as me."
"Can you die?"
"Yes. The attacker needs one of two things to kill me, to attack my sole directly, or use Phantom Zone."
"'Phantom Zone', isn't that the permanent death zone spell?"
"Yes. All zone spells give the caster a massive boost in power, and have there own effect."
"Good thing you know how to neutralise it, right?"
"..."
"RIGHT?!"
"The only way to neutralise it when not the caster is to kill him/her."
"Oh... Well I must be off, gotta get some food." She ran off down the street to the shops. Epic was alone again, his mother and father were nearing the end of ther time and he knew it, they keep mentioning seeing visions, the visions were something everypony got, a vision of there death. They can try to avoid it, but there are times that they can't and this is one.
They had the funeral planned so once they died they're buried the same day. Epic theorised that because of the tempura distortions that the valley had, ponies adapted to it and gained power from it, enough for everypony's special abilities. What abilities? Well that's for you to find out.
Somewere Dark...
"Sir, we need to find the profit. The one that'll lead us into a new dawn, a dawn that'll get rid of Nightmare Moon when she returns. The one how will kill the moon terror." A shadowy figure said to a clocked figure.
"I'm sure the Solar Sword will ignite the flames of destiny and show us who it is. Then we shall unite with our true ruler and destroy her mortal enemy." The cloaked figure said. "She shall rule the day she EVER tryed tricking our beloved that she was her sister."
"Correct as always Sir Sun Shrider."
In another dark place...
"Sir the moon dose not look to have changed... Do you think she is plotting something?"
"Yes yong one, our mistress will be planning an escape, she will show us who is the hero of the night, and we shall rejoice at her return. We need to find a way to end the solar enemy, and we shall rise to power!" Same setup as before.
"What of our other enemies, the Solar Empire?"
"Once the hero is found, we shall strike them down."
"Hay, you rimed! Well the Lunar Republic shall find our champion. Before they find there's."
"Yes, yes we shall... Hmhmhm... Ahaha!"
Back to Epic
"I feel like an adventure awaits, onwards to adventure! ... Maybe, I don't know..." Epic was on his way home, wen he saw his house explode. He saw his mom out front, "where's dad?" She pointed to the gigantic flames. "He's in ther? Where?"
"Where the fire started..."
"No..."
"Yes..."
"Dang it! He could have told me!"
"He wanted this... Sorry."
"It's all right, I got over it when you two said that you got the visions... But still, this was avoidable! How did he not care?!"
"I don't know, sorry..." Epic and his mom walked away from the burning wreckage that was once a house. His mom was now going to have to live with him until her time came.
The next day
The funeral went swimmingly, and by that it means Epic cried his eyes out and didn't stop until he got home at that moment his mood flipped and he was happy-go-lucky again. That freaked his mom out completely. And he had a good laugh at her expense. "Oh my goodness, hehe... You can't believe how funny your reaction was... But dad died... And I'm still upset about it, but I'm getting over it... Thanks for being there for me mom, you know I'll be there for you!"
"It's alright, I just need some rest from the day we've had."
"Night... {Hay, readers, I noticed you didn't see my dad, ah well...}" (4th wall!!!) "Cry me a river."
"Who you talking to?"
"Nopony!"
