Another Human Turned into a Pony in Equestria

When Starlight Glimmer became Princess Twilight's student, she moved into her castle. Twilight told her that she could go in every room, except for any marked with a light green X. Starlight had searched the castle from top to bottom, but only found one door with a light green X. After so examinations and eavesdropping, she had discovered that Twilight had the door marked for almost the same amount of time she'd had the castle. Starlight, overcome with curiosity, managed to figure out that somepony was going into the room on Friday around midnight.

Starlight had everything planned. She would cast a 30 minute invisibility spell, and then glide (or run) into the room when the door was opened. At 11:40 pm, she snuck into position, and cast the spell. Barely ten minutes later, she heard a pony's hoofsteps. Starlight looked to see Fluttershy walking down the hall towards the door.

' Fluttershy? ' she thought, ' What in Equestria is she doing here? '

Fluttershy opened the door nice and wide. Too easy. Starlight slipped into the room easily and looked around. It was a small room with several strange items in it. There were tubes and piles filled with oats and water that lead to a small bed. Fluttershy walked up to the bed and pulled back the covers. To Starlight's utter shock, there was a small, light green filly with a navy blue mane lying on the bed. The tubes and piles led to the filly. Fluttershy nudged the filly, paused, and then left the room.

Starlight was very confused, ' Why is there is a filly in here? ' she wondered, ' And why hasn't Twilight told me about her? '

The filly gave a sudden gasp and started breathing rapidly. Panicked, Starlight ran up to her and cast a spell to hopefully stop whatever was causing the rapid breathing.

The filly's red eyes snapped open, and an alarm sounded through the castle.

Twilight awoke when the alarm sounded. ' What in Equestria is that racket? ' she thought, then it hit her, ' Oh! It's the alarm I set in case the filly woke up! Wait... That means that the filly is awake! '

Twilight lept from her bed and dashed towards the door she had marked around a year ago. She burst into the room, and to her shock, saw Starlight calming down the filly.

"Starlight!?! What are you doing in here? I told you that you couldn't come in!"

"I got curious!" she said as Twilight silenced the alarm, "Twilight, why is this filly in here?"

"I'll tell you as soon as I get the others, they need to know that the filly's awake!"

Twilight flew from the room, and left Starlight with the filly.

"Are you okay?" Starlight asked the filly.

The filly lay there in silence for a while, then asked, "Where am I?"

"You're in Princess Twilight Sparkle's castle, don't you know? Do you live here or something?"

"Live here? The last thing I remember was being in poison joke and nearly getting eaten by Timberwolves..."

"Poison joke? Is that why your hooves are stuck to each other?"

The filly looked down at her hooves, surprised, "Nopony has given me a cure for this yet? Well, it's only been a day or so-"

"It hasn't been a day." said Twilight, she was back with her five other pony friends and Spike, "You've been in a coma for almost a year."

"A year?"

"It's okay, Flitternet." said Fluttershy, "I know this is scary for you."

"Who's Flitternet?"

"You are!" said Pinkie Pie, "You had a small band in your mane that said 'Property of Flitternet', so we assumed that it was your name!"

"Pretty cool name!" said Rainbow Dash.

"It is your name, right darling?" asked Rarity.

"I think so..."

"What do you mean that you think so?" questioned Applejack, "Did you forget some things?"

"What can you last remember?" asked Twilight

"I told Starlight that the last thing I remember was falling in poison joke and nearly being eaten by Timberwolves."

"Oh, is that why your hooves are stuck together?" piped up a voice that didn't belong to anypony in the room.

The ponies turned to see that the CMC were standing in the doorway.

"What are you three doing here?" asked Twilight.

"Weeeeeeeeeeell..." said Sweetie Belle, "we had been walking around Ponyville, helping ponies-"

"An' then," said Applebloom, "we heard a noise from Twilight's castle an' decided to investigate-"

"We jumped in through the window that used to be here," said Scootaloo, "and saw Flitternet lying in here!"

"So when we saw everypony running here and mumblin' 'Flitternet', we just had to come an' see what was goin' on!" finished Applebloom.

Everypony in the room besides the CMC and Flitternet rolled their eyes.

"Aaah!" yelled Flitternet suddenly.

All the ponies in room turned towards her and saw that her wings were flapping uncontrollably.

"Make them stop!" she said, scared.

Starlight quickly made her wings stop flapping and asked, "Where are you from?"

Flitternet paused, and said, "I'm from another world."

"Another world?" asked Rarity, "What do you mean?"

"I'm... I'm..."

"You're what?" asked Rainbow Dash.

"I'm not a pony!"

There was a silence after these words.

"What do you mean?" asked Fluttershy, "You're a pegasus."

"I was a human."

"A human?" asked Applejack, "What in tarnation is a human?"

"It's like what we'd turn into in we went through Twilight's mirror to where Sunset Shimmer is!" said Pinkie.

Being Pinkie, nopony asked how she knew that.

"I don't think that's where I'm from..." said Flitternet, "Wait, how long have I been here?"

"A year." said Twilight.

With that, Flitternet fainted again, just like she did one year ago.
