Yet darker
This next experiment is very interesting
Those were the last words I ever wrote. I was wright about all of them. Dark. Very dark. Being the doctor I am I had tried to examine the paste set of my experiments. I didn't have my two sons with me. Thank god. I would rather be shattered across time for entenailty then have it happen once for my sons.
Tho I was shattered across timelines, some were of the underworld. Peices of me in dark caverns. Seacret rooms. Even a piece of we in a goat ladys cell phone. I, Dr Gaster, have witnessed every death, checkpoint, and speech in this... Life? Universe? I was t sure. I was sure about one thing, something was bringing me back. After I was defeated by a small boy, frisk was It? I was transported back into pice black. No time, no sons, nothing. I had lost all hope when I had failed in my return. But hen a light apeared. I am going into it now. To my sons if you are reading this. I love you both, take good care.
Ever free forest
If you were to visit Ponyville. You wouldn't expect the sky to have all the etention. But it was a sight. Some people traveled from other country's to veiw it. Maybe it was the moon, maybe the stars. Nothing ever ad had really happened. And for some reason no one could notice a glowing black hole becoming larger.

Gasters eyes opened. Vedigetation. Something he dreamed of seeing again. Lush dark trees, covered in a a strangle black vine. Perhaps he he would study them.
Gaster then looked up. Sky! Strangle lights, unlike any that Gaster had seen. Then he noticed pitch blackness near them. No underground area had that. He knew King asgore didn't keep secrets, hopefully. Wait, was this the surface? Gaster then realised that it was. He smiled. A black bottem less grin. White teeth that came from his head. After years was rath of waiting, he could have never expected this. Never.
His mind raced at the thought of sealing specimens to the King. The question his how would he get down there.
Even if a monster escaped the barrier the couldn't go back in or they would never come back up again. Maybe he could comunacate with them through his MADGIC! Sadly he rembered none of his hands or MADGIC could comunacate. His MADGIC was limetless with power and uses. It died at communication. He could try. But he wasn't wasting time on this while he could be studying. Maybe a human could be his specimens. Gaster smiled his black smile when thinking of the reward. He could set monsters free! Become rich. Get his sons back. Have a family.
CHANGLIENG HIVES
Dark but filled with life. These caverns swarmed with it. Mainly one animal. Or insect. Changliengs. A alicorn insect that could take the form of the one you love of care about, they feed off love. They resembled a smal, alicorn. Horn, wings. Insect wings. No some pretty butterflies. More like dragonflies. Or normal flies. Anyway.
The cave opening was not usually guarded. But as you got deeper gaurds were ever were. This cavemen didn't have a queen but could really survive without one. They would starve but feed. Starve, and feed. This process was completed on the same person. Some prisons. Over and over. Until they died. Finding prey or Ponys out in the ever free was difficult. But when you did you could make it last years. Decades even, that was a one timer with that alicorn. But they ran low on food now. That was until a scout team found a unsal ly creature. They could sense a strong love for its sons. Skeletons. They couldn't turn into that sadly. Too little matter. Which was too bad. But killing was always fun, right?
As Gaster examined the trees closely he sensed something. Someone. But where? Then the sound got higher. Until he could sense a cave opening. 'Amazing' though Gaster to himself as he looked at the aprotching creatures. Small, black, insect like monsters. He smiled. He had been wanting to fight for a while. And 12 was a decent exercise. The 12 changliengs quickly sorrounded him. They snarled. Gaste rjust smiled back at everyone. The. He stared at what apeared to be the leader. Taller, wearing blue armour. He snarled its more anger.
"you are trespassing, EXPLAIN YOU SELF" ordered the leader. His fangs dripping slobber. Gaster smiled and lifted his hands. Within seven flashy hands had apeared. Each one with a special soul stone. Red, Orange, yellow, green, blue, light blue, purple. The changliengs, stunned by the show stepped back. Gaster moved his bony robbed arm right. All the hands turned a dark black and red. Gems glowing.
"Pitteful" said Gaster. His dark and mysterious voice scaring the 12 expect one who charged. His fate was met by 7 hands firing a combined black and red beam.
In the Pony universe beams don't act like lasers. They don't aplittereate you. Gaster did. He watched the pony try to cry. The rest of the changliengs charged up ther horns. A green aura apeared round them. He simply changed the hands colour to blue. The changliengs barely had time to fire has large swinging saws were fired at them. Some missed while others killed. Garters favourite was one that cut of both hind legs and head. He studied the dead animals. Or insects, or whatever. Then he sensed something else. Something less dark. He turned to his side. A purple pony with wings and a horn stood there. An alicorn is what they were called Gqster recalled. She apeared to be female, and very shocked about his attacks. He purple skin and orgins pumped hard with enargy. Gaster could fell it. MADGIC. Beaming off. He was very weird but a good overall feeling.
Twilight had heard a blast, and saw it as it destroyed one of an apple trees at her freinds. She had came back to investigate. She had found a starnge white faced being. The while inch wa wbroken when another pony came round the destroyed remains of the trees. It didn't have horns or wings. And wasn't an insect. It did wear a hat. That was surprising. Gaster had maybe thought all life here would be aggressive. As the pony turned to what apeared to be her freind he fa wished into black clouds. Twilight turned back to see the falling blackness of clouds. But no pony, or thing was there. Exept a dead black flower.
Chapter 1: more then magic trick
Two weeks had passed since twilight had saw Gaster. Apple jack had thought she was joking. But he sisbision grew when she realised two things. One, twilight wasn't good at jokes, and two, she didn't sleep. She had offered to come over and help twilight with whatever she was doing but twilight dennied. She had never dennied spending time with her freinds. It was worrying. Very worrying.
"Nurse red heart" said a strong voice. "May I see him? A tall white alicorn stood before a earth pony nurse. She had a pink, green, and blue flowing hair. A crown was on her head around her horn. It held a purple gem which end shinned with determination.
Nurse red heart. A smaller pony white white hair nodded. She opened the door for the princess to step through. A dark grey ray of light peeked through the door. It slowly crept up to the wall and vanished. Princess Celestia slowly made he way into the room. Her eyes staring with confussion at a dead changeling. This wouldn't have bothered her if it was normal. This was not normal.
There were burns across its arms and neck. Clean. No blood Ozzed out. It's wings were fried and its eyes were grey. Princess Celstia had seen many things die. Including changliengs. But none were like this. No books or records said anything about stuff like this. They said a changliengs eyes would always glow blue. This proved it wrong. Completely wrong. Celestia only knew of one person how could be up to the task. Her student.
Ponyville boarder
Fillies danced round in circles. Others ate and played tag. The usual that you would find at a playground. But three really stood out. A unicorn who was white like the moon, a pegases with smaller failed wings, and a normal yellow pony. Gaster could sense ther souls, ther determination. It was strong. Espialy that orange one. Her determination was stronger then you would ever think. Maybe even stronger then that yellow kid back underground. He was quite the determined one.
"Girls we need new ideas" said the yellow fillie in the middle of the three. Her look was deter aimed but missed something. An emotion. Happiness. It was nice not seeing them smile. It made him smile. Weird. There wear the many Ponys around. It could easily go at attack them but maybe not so much. He didn't want his presence to be noticed. But he was bored. Sitting around doing nothing and waiting he had gotten used to. But when there's something you can do, you do it. Gaster began to creep forward no sooner had he stepped he heard a squek from under his feet. He looked down. A rubber Duckie lay under his shoe. His smile faded to a loom of disappointment. He looked around. Seems know one had heard. Then he saw that table with the three fillies. Empty. They aprotched him.
Gaster didn't want to blow his cover so he crept back into the shadows. Vanishing from hiding.
"What in the hay was that?" Said the yellow Philly. Her eyes looking across her freinds. They looked at each over. Neither had any knwloage of it. That was official everywhere. No one knew of him. Not even discord. And he was... Discord? The three phillys then got an idea. They grinned. Thoughts coming to there minds. "MONSTER HUNTERS" they said togther. They galloped into the woods. No one noticed them leave, expert for a certain student with a dragon behind her. "Spike, get the others.
Chapter 2: A scare and a half
Magic. Whether it was dark or light, Gaster could feel it all around him. It surged throught the air. Powering him. Dark and light madgic seemed to mix well. It created a source of power for Gaster. Like a charger. A charger that was everywhere. He could use full power, everywhere! But first things first, those little fillies.
Gaster could sense a power in them. Not there cutie marks or destiny. Determination. Something Gaster badly had, badly received, badly held. But now, with these fillies, he could return. He could gain limitless power. He could take revenge on ponys. For dealing them away like humans.
"Um girls" said a quiet soft voice. A yellow Pegasus with a mint mane and tail was walking down a set of brown oak stairs. The Pegasus blue eyes reaching three young Phillys who where running around a organized house. Mable floors were stained with mud and crayon. Pots and pans were laying around the ground, once used as armour. Photos lay broken on the floor. But the Pegasus didn't freak out. She was too kind for that. That's why she was the element of kindness.
"Maybe you should play outside" the yellow Pegasus suggeststed. The three Phillys looked up at her. There eyes wide with fear of losing a cutie mark role. "But flutter shy if we don't stay we might not become ghost hunters" the middle pony said. Flutter shy giggled. "Well I don't think there are much ghosts in here. The three Phillys frowned. "Ah pickles" said a white Unicom with a purple and pink curled mane. Her eyes down to the ground. Sad.
Flutter shy didn't like to see ponys sad. Or any creature as a matter of fact. She did however have an idea. "Why don't you hunt for ghost outside? All three ponys imeideinty perked up. There smiles returning. "Come'n cutie mark crusaders" said a yellow pony with a red mane the same color as an apple. The three quickly hurried outside. The ran in the direction of the people stone bridge. Surly something would be under there. For there sake.
Gaster lay there. The shade of the bridge giving him comfort. As a child he disliked the light. He preferred dark places. Something to relate to he guessed. It was something about them. They made him feel at home, powerful. Unlike when all the kids called him weak. Everyone did back then. They where wrong, so so wrong. Maybe soon the other kids would figure out why that blue lizard went missing.
His shade and quit was quickly invaded when he heard the sound of soft galloping hoofs against the stone path. Sighing, because he needed rest, Gaster sank back into the shade. Shadows hiding his body. His pale face camouflaging itself with the bridges roof. He hid simply because of bordem. He would only ingadge if absalofly nessasery. Or if they held great power.
Gaster waited. He soon grew board. He was about to crawl out when a orange Pegasus jumped round the corner. Determined eyes turning to ones of disappointment. Scotallo, a orange Pegasus with a purple mane, and smaller wings which limited flying sighed. "Guess skeletons and ghost aren't real. Gaster, liking that his new to be 'freind' had a strong surge of determination in her, felt like a surprise was in order. "Who said they didn't" said Gaster in his raspy dark voice. Scotallo jumped back. Her wings flickering. Her eyes wide with a mix or surprise and fear. Gaster rose out, cracking his bony neck. It sent shivers down scotallos spine. As Gaster rose to full hight, he could t help but notice the fear taking over Scotallos body. Her mind spinning with dread.
The two stood there. Staring at each over. Each one waiting for the over to talk. But none said a word. Or did anything. The only time they looked away was when flutter shy screamed.
Gaster turned to see a yellow Pegasus screamed. She flew back into her cottage. While the three Phillys followed. Gaster grinned. He was waiting for this. Fear, determination slipping from them to him. He liked it. Having control of mass power. Power he knew was hard to match in this land. World rather. He had yet to meet the one pony that had first saw him. Twilight sparkle. But other things were on Gasters mind. Like the four ponys, who's scream had proudly alerted everyone in town.
As flutter shy and the three othe rpgillys ran up the oak wood stairs they could feel fluttershys fear. They could feel each overs. It was a weird and horrible feeling. Along with the feeling of dread. It loomed over all of them. They we're not all alicrons, but they didn't need to be to sense something was wrong.
Fluttershys, very panicky, hid in her pillow face. Tears streaming down her face. The look of horror being hiddion away. Every pony looked at scotallo, who had witnessed everything. "Was-was that a ghost" Asked Apple bloom, her red mane and yellow body shaking uncontrollably. Honestly Scottallo didn't know. She didn't really care. "Um- I'm not sure.
"Girls" fluttershys finally tinned in. "That was some thing twilight told me about two weeks ago. "It killed 12 changliengs with one hand!
