Shining followed the hoof and looked out. What he saw made him gasp." It looks like a giant metal ship". The thing was massive. Easily a mile long and half a mile tall. It had many levels from the bottom to the top. It was a pearl whit accented with a good amount of rust. On the side written in great big letters was S.O.S
Shining stared at the text in confusion, " What does it say?".
" I don't know it's written in some weird language"

The waves crashed violently against the hull. At the bow there was a figureleaning on the railing. It had a booted foot pressed firmly against the railing." I can't believe this is the last pair of pants from the security's office. I mean come on I've ruined more pants in the past month than my whole life". He continued to mumble some in coherent thoughts to him self when he noticed a column of smoke in the distance. He undid the bag on his back. He unzipped the first pouch and started searching." Where did I place it... Ah ha", he pulled out a pair of binoculars and looked out towards the smoke column. He followed it down to a smoldering ship. He noticed a lack of metal and found wood. " Odd. Who has a wooden ship now a days". He then noticed the ships occupants and In particular a silver-grey pony with weird bat wings and a dark purple mane, with what he believes gold-yellow eyes ( it's hard to tell from this far away). " Is that a unicorn with a mutated pegauses?", disbelief evident in his voice." Hope there friendly," he said to himself, " I ran out of bullets when I dispensed them into that weirded green squid. Good thing they were put to use. Dumb thing attacked the turbines and got oil on its face. Thing light up like a Christmas tree."
He took his foot off the railing and started towards the crew quarters. "Better grab some shut eye. 2hrs won't kill me. Imean what's the worst that can happen while I'm asleep.". His foot steps died as he walked toward the door.
