Guardians of Tomorrow: Color Chrome's Journey Issue 1: A Whole New Time
Hard Candy stood on the sidelines injured as Color Chrome continued to fire ice beams at the Ice Wirewolf who easily avoided her attacks with ease. "You know using ice beams on a guy who's name is Glacier kind of kind of defeats the purpose of it."
"All right then, let's change it up a bit!" Color Chrome yelled transforming attempting to hit him. Glacier dodged the shots with relative ease and fired a blast at her left foot causing it to spread up her arm. Color Chrome tore it off then focused on regenerating it allowing a new one to grow back immediately.

The land was covered in glaciers, many things could be seen inside the ice caps, corpses, buildings, etc. What stood out among them was the small group of nine cloaked beings, the only thing audible aside from the howling winds of the blizzard was their footsteps through the snow, the one in the front being bound by some chains held by the one on his left, the one on his right mounting a small tiger sized Dog O War, the rest in the back aiming at the chained one with advanced blood red blasters, while the one in the very back held some kind of duffel bag.
"Ka mek la to mok tu nook tor ma maktu filum lupus." The Cloaked figure on the Dog O War said.
"Lanka grows tired with this. Any of these corpses in this blocks of ice will do just as well." The one holding the chains said.
"Cool your jets Kawat we're almost there." The one in chains replied as they approached the large science building, the door the only opening through the thick wall of ice. The group walked through the broken door, turning on their lights to fully see the frozen ruins around them. One solider walked towards the mural displaying a many ponies in costumes storming a large fortress with many wirewolves shooting at them. "This place gives me the creeps." He said to himself walking back to the group.
"Hold it." The one in chains said walking up to a wall of ice. Something glowed from his hand that scanned the ice before something beeped. "This is it. Help me get this out."
Lanka laughed a little at his request. "Quar lek tok mokrow amak de mek to ruk hurru."
"Boss is right." Kawat replied. "We said we'd help you find whatever you were looking for. We never said anything about getting it out. Now how about you tell us all the secrets of Equis' government including access codes to get bast the space station, and maybe we won't melt that ice and whatever's inside. We have a deal Alfreda."
The chained figure took off his hood revealing Alfreda's face, a stern expression that soon relaxed. "Far enough. Let me have a smoke first." A solider walked up to Alfreda giving him a cigarette out off his pocket that Alfreda then smoked.
"You're a weird relic, you know that. Smokings been wiped out yet you still do it. Nonetheless what's the passcode?"
"That's the joke: I don't. Because it's 1142, Eat my ass." Alfreda spat the cigarette into the solider's eye causing him to scream out in pain as the other ones shot at Alfreda who used the one he spat the cigarette at as a shield taking all the shots. The cloaked being in the back hit the solider next to him and opened the duffel bag revealing several swords that glowed in a red magic grip.
"Now!" Alfreda yelled to his partner who threw the swords stabbing at least 3 of the of the soldiers as Lanka rode out of the building. Kawat tried to pull out his blaster until a large blade connected by a chain coming from the shadows stabbed him in his arm pulling him into the darkness. As Alfreda grabbed A nearby sword and stabbed it into the ice, he looked back seeing Lanka escaping and tossed a crossbow to his partner. "Red Horn, do me a solid and take out Lanka quick?"
Red Horn broken blade on the floor and aimed at Lanka who was beginning to gain ground outside in the snow.
"Uh Red Horn he's getting away." Alfreda said. Red Horn still didn't fire as Lanka reached his communicator.
"Katana nows not the time to get cocky!" Alfreda yelled as Red Horn fired the crossbow causing the blade to shoot clean through Lanka's skull killing him instantly as his Dog O War mount continued to run not noticing his master's death as he disappeared into the snow storm.
Alfreda finished carving out a square in the ice and dug his claws into it pulling out a block of ice. "Katana if I didn't know your I forget how many greats grandfather I'd call you a showoff."
Red Horn took off the helmet shuddering a little at the cold air. She was a Vesper with an ink black coat, her mane and tail a long navy blue edged burgundy red, some of the blue edges looking like slicked flames, her mane tied up in a ponytail, her eyes blood red and her cutie mark was a semi automatic pistol under a silver katana with a single red streak on it. "Doesn't help you look like the girl version of him I met outside of the eyes." Alfreda noted.
"Hey I was quick and professional saving your butt." Katana replied. "Lupine showed off taking out Kawat and the other guys in the shadows."
"Hey I didn't waste my time trying to show off how far I could kill Lanka from." Lupine emerged from the shadows tossing Kawat's corpse to the side. She was an earth pony dark brown coat with a two tone dark green mane, standing almost a head taller Katana built like an Apple Family Stallion. Her coat was currently stained black with the blood of Kawat and the soldiers.
"Well you also certainly show you'd make Wolf proud to call you his descendant." Alfreda noted.
"Well you couldn't get this thing if we didn't tag along to kill these guys. And help you carry that thing back." Katana bragged.
"Maybe so with taking out Lanka but," Alfreda replied before grabbing the large block of ice and lifting it up with no problem. "I can lift."
"What's the importance of the block of ice? Ice from the caps at home or the fridge too good for you?" Lupine joked.
"Oh no, I made a promise a long time ago to a friend of mine, and I finally did it." Alfreda said walking outside using his tail to press a button on his wrist causing it to blink before a ship the size of the Power Ponies HQ flew into view and a gravity lift opened allowing Alfreda, Lupine and Katana to be lifted up into the ship where they were greeted by the crew, wirewolf and pony alike who looked happy to see Alfreda. "Glad to see you're all right Alfreda, should we pursue Lanka?" A mare asked.
"No need, Katana made sure his mount will take care of his corpse for us." Alfreda replied earning many awes and cheers from around him.
"How'd you escape his gladiator pits?" Another asked.
"Caused a riot to break out in the cells, jumped out a window into one of the corpse piles they stacked outside the castle contacting Katana and Lupine for back up. Just as I finished his guards found me but I managed to make a deal with him. Sure he's regretting it in hell now as we speak."
"What's in the block?" Lupine asked again.
"Let's just say, you're gonna love her very much." Alfreda said before an explosion rocked the ship. "What the shit?" Alfreda asked running to th bridge.
