The team at Applewood Racing is pleased to offer you a 1 year contract to drive a full season schedule for the 2016 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. Below lists the dtails and requirments, along with a place to sign. We hope you accept this contract as it would be a plasure to work with you.
It took me a full minute to realize what was happening. Me, a young pony not even the age of 21 yet, was being offered a spot in a team that could compete at the top. This had been my dream ever since i had been a young colt, and now I could finally realize my dream, all I had to do was sign.
Wait a sec, I'm getting ahead of myself, you guys should probably get to know more about me. I'm Speed Swinger, 20 year old Pegasus, Camping World Truck Series Champion, and runner up in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, and I grew up in a small town between Canterlot and the everfree forest called Byron.
Anyways, to think that I would have gotten to drive at a top team a few years ago this soon, I would have laughed, but here it was, right in front of me. So of course I signed, and then brought out to my mail box, only slightly hyperventilating, and then walked back inside my to my apartment. I still lived in my hometown of Byron, which meant I was still close with my family and most of my friends.
Did I mention they pay i'm getting from this contract? I should probably keep it classified, but its around there with being considered rich. I guess thats what happens when your employed by one of the richest companies in Equestria. In case you didnt know, the Apple family farms had been turned into a bisnuess instead of every farm for itself, and that benifited hugely for everyone. Im pretty sure that Applejack is richer than Princess Twilight now.
And the best part about this conract? All the free cider I could drink. So many ponies would kill for that.
I went down to sit on my couch, just to pull myself together, this had been my childhood dream after all. Then I realized that I would probably have to move to Ponyville to be near the shop. Damn, I would miss this place.
Later, I sent letters to my parents letting them know the news, as they were currently on vacation in Trottingham. Then decided to call it a night, as it was getting quite late. With dreams of my future as i fell asleep.
