Vinyl's Rewind
A Lesson Learned, A Leasson To Be Learned
Previous Chapter"And since that moment, Vinyl Scratch's life has gone right. Vinyl and her same sex lover Octavia eventually bought a big house, got married, and adopted a kid. And Vinyl also made a lot of money from her multitude of albums and collaborations. In fact, I was just talking with her the other day and she appreciates what I did with her... And then there's you, excuse of an evolved gelatinous life form!"
Discord, in his human form, is currently looking down upon a gel based creature that has screwed up big time.
"Please, God Of Chaos," the talking puddle of gel beggs, "Have Mercy!"
"I trusted you correct everyone." Discord continues, "To tell your people that you are not a messiah!"
"How Are People Supposed To Believe Me When You Brought Me To My Peak Of Power!?"
"Because you could've done better than say something to make a few of them suspect that you aren't a messiah. You could've told it more commonly, found some kind of mass communication, vibrated it out to the world! Instead, you corrected your best friend when he said that you wanted future generations to make statues of you. Now, go away. I wish to end this conversation. Enjoy an eternity of nothing."
"NO, PLEASE!"
With a snap of Discord's fingers, the gel disappears and Discord pulls out a crystallized tear.
"Hm. To think I wouldn't make any kind of connection with a unicorn mare. Speaking of life lessons, I wonder how Mon Capitaine is doing?"
Discord snaps his fingers and an orb floats in front of him with the sight of Jean-Luc Picard with a burned hole in his chest and Beverly Crusher trying her best to revive him. But the good doctor is failing badly.
"Oh? Mon Capitaine's artificial heart seems to have failed... I wonder what I can teach him..."
With a snap of Discord's fingers, Captain Picard appears in the distance. He looks around, slowly walks over to Discord, and grabs his hand.
"Welcome to the afterlife, Jean-Luc... You're dead."
Author's Note
And that's why Q diced to give Captain Picard a second chance. Because of Vinyl Scratch, AKA DJ Pon3.
Who would've thunk, eh?
