Loved In The Past
"But I didn't want to leave!" A 14 year old girl shouted as she slammed her door. Her rainbow hair sliding down the wall as the girl known as, Rainbow Dash, sat down against the wall and held in her tears, trying not to cry.
Dash.... Don't.... You dont cry! Rainbow thought to herself as she sniffed.
She rubbed her eyes and rested her head in her hands.
"I dont want to leave everyone..." She whispered. "Stupid Mum moving closer to family."
A tear fell down her eye as she saw a glimpse of a booklet she had got when she had said her goodbyes to all her old friends. She looked over to the booklet and picked it up. She opened it, it showed pictures of all her friends and notes and little messages, such as I already miss you! And I will never forget you!
She looked around the booklet and took in the expressions of all her friends faces n the pictures. She was friends with most people, finding her funny and loyal. She was close friends with a small group of girls and a boy, who everyone thought was gay 'cause he hung out with girls only. Dash thought it was stupid to assume something like that.
"Huh.... I miss 'em all ready..." She held back her tears, once again. She remembered saying goodbye to everyone. Some crying some holding the tears back. She really did love it in Cloud High, shame she had to leave.
Her eyes landed on a picture of the boy in her 'Close Friends' group. Soarin. She suddenly felt guilty and even more sad. She missed everyone. She missed him. Before you say something like, 'Oh, this story is going to be about Dash finding out she had a crush on Soarin.' Well you are wrong. She knew full on that she had weird emotions when talking, seeing, hearing him. She wasn't dumb. Well, at least she didn't think. She liked him.
Another tear fell down. "I miss him." She wiped her eyes with her sleeve. "Why did I have to say goodbye like that."
The memories of earlier that day unfolded rapidly.

"And I have some bad news." The headmaster said. "One of our great students is leaving us." Dash was in the crowd. She looked to her sides, seeing her friends looking at her with sad eyes. She looked down, she didn't have enough courage to look at them. Fluttershy, Cloud Chaser, Soarin and Scarlet Skies. Soarin was next to her looking at her with pleading eyes.
"Don't leave.... Please..." Soarin whispered, looking down. Her eyes began to water, but she held it in. His words struck her in the stomach. Dash bit her lips. The pain felt nice, for some strange reason.
"I wish... I could stay..." She whispered back to him. She glanced at him. A sad, worried expression landed on Soarin's face. He held her hand and squeezed. A little blush formed on Dashes face, she didn't expect him to do that. Yes, they usually went out, just the two of them, and play football, and tell jokes, and go to the park. But, he never really showed affection like that. Not that he had a thing for her.

It was the end of the assembly. Dashes class was exiting the large hall, of which they were in. Soarin was behind her. Thunderlane was in front of her. She still felt sad, and bad for leaving everyone. I mean she knew that she still had 4 hours let with them, before she moved down to the place which would change her entire life.
Scarlet Skies ran towards her, hugging her, tight. "I love you!" She squeezed Dash. Dash forced a little smile. "Ya'know. In the friend way."
"Yeah, I know." Dash said, looking down to her feet. She was scared, worried and had a depressing-like feeling lingering in her. She just want to hug everyone and stay like that forever. How would I pee though? Dash thought to herself, making herself smile. For real.

It was the end of the day. The end. End. These words sticking in Dashes thoughts making her feel cold every time she thought about it.
She didn't want it to end so fast. She was hugged about 1 million times by everyone.
"I love you Dash. I hope you remember us." Cloud Chaser said, hugging Dash. Fluttershy ducked out. She didn't really say anything for the whole day. She was like that, never really had something to say.
"Im going to miss you guys to." Dash said looking at everyone. She walked to Fluttershy and hugged her. "Im going to miss you." Dash whispered to the fragile girl.
"I will too." Fluttershy hugged her. "I really will." A tear fell down Fluttershy's eye, Dash rubbed them away. "Thanks."
Someone tapped Dash's back. She turned around to see Soarin. "Oh. Hey Soar..."
"I-I... Just wanted to say bye, to my best...." He paused. "Friend-Girl..." Dash blushed a bit. She knew what he was saying, but it was so... Different now. She was really saying goodbye. Forever.
"I will miss you. I will always text. You better text back." Dash said nudging him in the arm. "But, seriously. Im going to miss my best Friend-Boy." Soarin chucked. She really did love him. Though she would never say she loved him. Just Liked him.... A lot. She looked at him. Soarin pulled a goofy face, they both chuckled. She knew she would miss him. She quickly pulled him in for a hug, holding him in for about 5 seconds before pulling away.
"B-Bye..." Dash sadly said. Soarin gave her a book, a blue and purple book.
"Its form the whole class." A tear escaped her eye. "I hope you like it." Dash hugged the book.
"I love it."

Dash looked at the book in her hands. She hugged it again. The few tear marks stained her face. She hovered her had over the picture of her and Soarin. Her heart hurt. She ~~loved~~ liked him, a lot. She laid down on her bed, after walking over to it and sitting down. She held her book to her chest. Her eyes dropped down. Her limbs relaxed. Her mouth opened. She was sleeping.
She was dreaming.
Dreaming about how lie used to be.
About Soarin.
All the good times.
Having your best 'Friend-Boy' as your crush was bad enough... But leaving them...

Dash cuddled her book. Drooling all over it. She smiled as she dreamt.

"Dash come on!" Soarin shouted to Dash as he ran to her. "You have to see this!" He ran up to her and panted for a few seconds.
"What?" Dash asked curiously. She pulled a funny look at Soarin. He put his arm on her back and lifted himself up.
"Come... On... Dash..." Soarin whispered through breaths. "Cloud... Is, Asking.... Thunderlane out." Dash looked at him shocked. She knew that Could liked Thunder, but she never expected her to ever ask him out! She was a timid, shy girl. Much like Fluttershy. She was one of Fluttershy's best friends. Along with Dash.
"Nah. This must be fake." Dash rubbed it off like it was nothing. "She would never do that." Soarin looked at her with a flat expression.
"It's true. Now come." He glabbed Dashes hand and ran. A small blush forming on her face. As they ran Soarin tripped over a small rock on the ground... Or something. Dash didn't have enough time to see what it was as a couple of seconds later, she was on top on Soarin. Soarin was laying on his stomach and Dash was on her stomach.... On him...
Oh, no. No, no no no no no no. Dash thought to herself as she opened her eyes. Her blush deepened. She quickly rolled over to her side. Sliding off Soarin. Wiping her hair over her face, so Soarin could hopefully not she she was a tomato.
"Argghhh..." Soarin grumbled. "Dash.... I think I am dead." Soarin laughed and got up onto his feet. Dash giggled as she saw how dirty he was.
"Miss is going to kill you if you dont wash yourself." Dash commented on his look. Soarin smirked.
"Well.... Maybe she will be mad with you too!" Soarin said, enthusiasm on his face.
"Wha-" A pile of dirt was through into her face. "Hey! Oh! Your going to pay." Dash and Soarin smirked at each other. They through dirt at each other for about an hour before being called in and having a detention.
"Totally worth it." Soarin whispered to her in the detention.
"Yeah."

It was a long day at school. Work, boredom, friends, drama. Soarin invited Dash to play Football with him. She accepted. ~~Obviously.~~ She had just ended an hour and something of Football and they were tired. They sat on a wall with Soarin on his phone, telling jokes. Like he always did.
"Ok. Ok!" Soarin laughed. Dash held her stomach, she had been crying of laughter of how funny Soarin was. His jokes always lifted the mood. Not like there was any, though. "Ok, so.... Ummm... OH! Some people say love is the key to happiness but it’s a lie. It’s pie."
Soarin laughed his head off as Dash mumbled to herself. "Oh, thats so not true." Dash rolled her eyes.
"What?" Soarin said as tears of happiness rolled down his eyes. "I have another one!"
"Ok. What is it?" Dash said, curiously.
"Ok, so... Dirty joke this time." Dash blushed a little.
"Ok."
"So... My maths teacher asked me a question today at school, “What comes after 69?” Apparently ‘ mouthwash ‘ isn’t the correct answer." Soarin laughed the last few words out. Dash felt like she was going to die if she laughed any more.
"O-Oh! Soar! Haahahaha!" Dash laughed. After calming down a bit, she said. "You should totally tell these jokes on your first date after playing a good game! This is so awesome and funny. Anyone could fall for you!" Dash exclaimed.
"Ha... Yeah!" Soarin replied.
Yea-Oh wait.... No. No. No, That sound so wrong. I didn't mean for that to come out like that. What is he thinks I was coming onto him... On no! Dash thought to herself nervously. Dash sat there awkwardly in silence, an enormous blush on her face. "Well... I have to.... Having an over protective mum is a hard life." Dash finally broke the silence.
"Oh... Okay..." Dash walked off a bit before. "Wait Dash!"
"Yeah, Soar?"
"Again, tomorrow?" Dash smiled happily. Her heart flying into her eyes.
"Of course!" Dash quickly became 'cool' again. "I mean... Yeah, sure."
They both walked off. One of them think about what to wear for tomorrow.

"Dash!" A voice said, the arms of the voice pushed Dash upwards. "Dash! Wake up. Dinners ready." It was her mum.
"Argghh..." Dash grumbled. "I'm coming..."

After dinner Dash was back on her bed. Thinking about how she wanted to just run to Soarin. Hug him. Cuddle him. ~~Kiss him.~~ Wait! No!
Dash didn't try to think about him after that thought popped into her head. But he always slid into her head. She wanted him. She needed him. It was if when he left a part of her went with him as well. She needed him back. But she couldn't have him. Thinking about never seeing him again hurt her. A lot. She loved him. Soarin. Loved Soarin. She.
Her feet held into her head by her hand. Crying slowly. She would never see him again. Never. Ever?
"I need you Soarin." She cried slowly, trying to make her mum not hear. "I l-lo..... I love you."

There will, maybe, one day be a sequel. Maybe, if me and "Soarin" she each other again.
