Eclipse trotted playfully into her house, she had a big grin on her face. Her home was in Cloudsdale, a large floating city made of clouds. She had a few friends there so she often had lots to do. "Mummy, Mummy!" the filly called, rushing inside
"Hello Eclipse" her mother, GoldenRay sang cheerfully. "Where have your friends gone?" she asked
"Oh they went home" Eclipse replied " I think they are mad at me..." she said sadly
"Whys that? Did you push them over the edge again?" Her mother asked tilting her head
"no..." Eclipse looked down slightly "Their parents said they shouldn't go near me anymore, I don't know why!"
The filly dragged her hooves up the stairs and closed her door, leaving her mother standing in hallway looking shocked.
"so..." The creamy coloured alicorn dipped her head letting her purple mane fall over her eyes "it has begun..."
Eclipse sat at her desk in the school, Bubbles was too the left and Wish to the right. Both of her friends remained in silence occasionally glancing at each other. Their teacher, an older Pegasus with a white mane opened the classroom door and took his place at the front. "Class today we will be talking about the four races of ponies" His voice was low and grouchy but that was normal for him "As you know each group of ponies have their own talents" Whitebeard said pointing to a colt sitting by the window "What talent do they all have?"
The light blue pony looked up to the teacher, he shook his head as if clearing his mind from his wondering thoughts "Earth ponies tend to the land, unicorns have their magic, pegasi control the weather and alicorns have magic and can fly"
"very good" Whitebeard muttered "The current rulers of Equestria are Princess Celestia and Princess Luna, they are both alicorns"
Eclipse groaned, they have had the same lecture yesterday but their old teacher seemed to have forgotten.
"Alicorns are powerfull ponies, that is why they are-" Whitebeard stopped suddenly as if realising his classroom had three of the young alicorns in. "i mean, that's why their species has a strong connection to the throne"
Some of the ponies in the class glanced at Eclipse and giggled not so quiet whispering seemed to surround her. First her friends don't like her anymore, now her teacher spoke weirdly of her. Did she do something wrong?
"Hey wait up Eclipse!" Bubble called, the light grey Pegasus filly flew over to her friend "Hey listen Ocean and I are sorry but-" The filly began but was cut off by another group of pegasi flying towards them
"Hey look its Eclipse and her follower Bubble!" One jeered at them. The group surrounded the young foals.
"why don't you just use your magic and teleport out of here so we can finally get away from you!"
Eclipse tried to back up but the largest of the group pushed her forward so she fell. "Bubbl-" she began to whisper but she noticed her friend had slipped away and left her.
"quiet you!" A heavy impact collided with her face and left her whimpering on the ground. A few drops of blood trickled down onto the fluffy white cloud floor.
"lets get going, this poor accuse for a pony has had her punishment... For today"
'why me... I didn't do anything to them! is it because i'm an alicorn?' Thoughts raced around inside her head. Most of the blood had been wiped away but there was a fresh wound above her eye. How could she explain things to her parents? This was the third time this week she had been hit and yet they showed no signs of forgiveness...
Eclipse dragged her hooves up the stairs towards her house, she was still wondering how to explain the bullying to her mother. As she was about to open the door she heard yelling. Not from any pony but her parents! She furiously swung open the door and rushed in only to be met with three white pegasi in glittering gold armour. GoldenRay was pushed against a wall, her horn glowed the colour of the sun as she attempted to push away the attackers.
"Mum!" Eclipse wailed "What's happening?"
"Eclipse run!" GoldenRay cried
The large alicorn kicked a guard across the room with tremendous force. He coughed up blood, the kick to the chest would be fatal. He collapsed against the wall, struggling to crawl away when finally he went limp.
"In the name of the princess we order you to surrender and come with us!" The white Pegasus with a deep blue mane growled
"Never!" GoldenRay yelled, waving her front hooves attempting to kick out
"Then we will use more demanding forces!" He cried as he slammed forward into the alicorn. His swift kick was aimed at her neck, leaving little time for defence. GoldenRay spluttered, a deathly cry echoed through the house. As the collapsed she was able to give a final counter attack, raising her horn she plunged it into her attackers eye. Weakly pulling away, blood poured down from her horn splattering her own face with it. The guard let out a scream of rage before he swung down and hit Eclipses mother right in the face, causing her to drop down on the floor. "Blizzard, kill her!" The guard demanded clutching his eye with his hooves. Blizzard started at the dying pony, she was covered in blood.
"Eclipse...." Her mother gasped
"M-Mum!" Eclipse wailed, she was about to rush forward however Goldenrays continued to speak
"Run fast. Run far"
"I'm not leaving you..."
"I-I love you..."
Blizzard glanced over at his captain, Thunder, he hesitated and took a deep breath before he delivered the fatal blow upon the injured pony. A spine tingling crunch filled the room as bones snapped leaving the mangled corpse scrunched up on the floor.
Blizzards eyes flickered with regret, he had just killed a pony, not just any pony but a mother trying to defend her child. The family was in ruins as the father was also dead leaving only the filly.
"Now, now" Thunder choked "What to do, what to do with this filly over here..."
Eclipse was crying in the corner, she was shaking and was barley able to stand "Y-You..." She stuttered; shock had over taken her and she struggled to even get the words out.
"Come on now, don't be shy!" Thunder teased, whipping some of the blood off his face, his left eye was punctured and the blood was uncontrollably bleeding; the crimson splodges covered his once pearly white fur
"N-no!" Eclipse cried.
"No? Well then young filly we may need to take you by force then!" The large pony started to slowly walk towards the shaking pony, his face was torn into a wide, twisted smile. Eclipse took one last look at her mothers corpse, blood was spilling out from her gashed wounds. That body was no longer recognisable as her mother. "I-im sorry" She whispered before turning away from the murder scene and sprinted away. She could never return there, as the haunting image of the murder and the blood trembling voice of that pony was burned into her mind, forever...
" Run little pony run! You cant hide forever.
I will hunt you down until I catch you...
And Kill you..."
