Luna's not so innocent FoalHood
you have all heard the story of how luna was banished but what happend before that?
Hey luna your it! giggled celestia as she tagged the filly luna. I'm gonna get you! Luna giggled back. this went on untill it was time to fly home for dinner. wait up-! Luna started to yell as hit another pegusia by accident and hurtled toward the ground. the world around her seemed to slow down as she was falling but she eventually hit the ground, unconcouis. several hours later in the pitch black darkness Luna regained concouiness. Were am i? Luna wondererd it took her a while to realise she was in the evergreen forest. scared Luna tried to fly away forgeting her long fall from the clouds to the earth and realised that there was a sharp pain in her wing and back hooves. broken she finally decided. as she sat there, stranded. suddenly she heard the howling of a wolf. she decided there was only one thing to do. crawl. Hoof by hoof luna crawled her way out of the dark evil forest latter after luna came out from the forest she realized something on her flank. a moon. luna had gotten her cutie mark! Luna under the full moon suddenly felt stronger she felt her wings heal and expand as she flew home. When Luna was home her parents both gave her a big hug. Where were you? They both ask. And is that your cutie mark? Hey no fair she gets a cutie mark before me! She said as I just noticed she had woken up. I I I was in the evergreen forest. Said Luna. What?! Her parents yelled. What were you doing in there? They demanded. I I fell and broke my wings and hooves but when I got my I cutie mark I felt stronger. Luna theres something we Need to tell you. What is it mom? Asked Luna. Your cutie mark means well umm how do I put this. Your destiny is to raise the moon and bring the feared and hated darkness to all of equestria while celstia brings the beloved sun and is praised and will be crowned the princess. Furious with rage Luna imeditaly attacked celestia but what she didnt know is that they had planned for this and tossed the elements of harmony to celestia to banish Luna for enterity.
but it wasnt all as it seemed. With luna on the moon she felt alone, cold, ignored. for the first night she cried herself to sleep. she dreamed of her parents and her sister who had banished her to what she thought was the moon just a day ago. She noticed that she hadnt eaten for two days. she decided to try and scavenge the wasteland for some food. she wandered around for hours finding nothing but moonrocks. she eventually found a cave that she disided to sleep in for the night, or maby it was day. she couldent tell when there is no clock on the moon. she sleeped easyer that night but woke up to find a note a basket of food on next to her. it read ("Dear Luna. its your parents. we are very very sorry about what we had to do but we had no choice. here we will send you food, water and a note every day. we are sorry and miss you very much luna. rest easy. Sincerly: your loving parents Solar eclipse and Crater. Luna cried for 10 straight minutes but eventually pulled herself toughether and ate her food. she didnt know what to do with herself. then a idea came into her head. she took of back toward the earth but found that there was a magical bubble around the moon and could not escape. she disided to practice a few spells. she carefully pointed her horn at a crater and when she opend her eyes to see what she created she saw a dark cloud of blue mist apear.
