Sweet Dreams

Dream, it can mean different things to different ponies. The romantic hears the word and thinks of the perfect partner. The pessimist hears it and calls it a self-deluding fantasy. The coward thinks only off the nightmare that accompanies dreams. The slothful hear it and think only of sleep. But, to the hopeful, the aspirants, the ambitious, it is a sense of self. It is what they strive for, what they wake up in the morning for. It is so for one such mare, Fallow Cloud.

However a dream is in its most base form an idea. And, as such a dream can be a fragile snowflake, destroyed by a single drop of water, or it can be a sturdy cliff, able to weather the weight of the oceans waves. Fallow Cloud's dream has faced many hardships in her life, from dropping out of college to working the streets to get by. However, a new hardship is rearing it's ugly head in the path of Fallow's dream and this one cannot and will not be ignored.
