//-------------------------------------------------------// A Life Reduced -by IamI- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// A Life Reduced //-------------------------------------------------------// A Life Reduced Sunset Shimmer opened the curtains to let some light into Adagios room. It was part of her morning ritual. Every morning since coming to The Passing House, Sunset woke up and opened the curtains. Most of the times it was beautiful and sunny; but even when it was grey and rainy, she still opened the curtains. Natural light, even on rainy days, was better than artificial light. And like most death centers, it was located at some stunningly beautiful location so the view was also helpful. Death centers began in 2025 as part of The End Of Life Care Act. The public had come to believe that the way most people met their inevitable end was too cold and cruel. So Congress passed the End law to help make things more humane. It legalized doctor assisted suicide for one and created death centers. The purpose behind the centers was to give those terminally ill patients at the end of life a place to go besides the hospital, home, or hospice. The patients would only receive enough medicating to keep any pain bearable but would not zone them out. Each patient would receive top notch care and the person they were closest to could stay with them until the end came. Each room had two beds for that purpose. When it became clear that Adagio's time was about to come, she and Sunset discussed the options. While passing away in the house she and Sunset had made a home, had raised a daughter in, gave Adagio some comfort; she also realized dying there would forever stain it for Sunset. And the idea of any of sunset's happy memories being corrupted by her passing there seemed almost sacrilegious to Adagio. So after a little arguing they decided to come here, The Passing House. Adagio looked at Sunset as she went through her little ritual. Her once fire red hair was now silver. She had kept it long though. It was tied back in a pony tail, a very messy pony tail. Her svelte frame a little heavier, a little more bent, and a lot more wrinkled. Once quick and fluid actions replaced by slow, shaky or jerky ones. But she was in her eighties (biologically for this world, over a hundred in chronologically), and that is what time did to you. Did to her. Still she smiled. Time might steal the beauty of youth; but it could never steal the beauty of love. "I don't know why you do that," Adagio pretended to grumble. "It's the same damn scenery I've seen every day since I've been here. I'm getting tired of looking at it." "Oh hush up you old bat," Sunset playfully teased back. "I don't open them for you." Sunset turned around and looked at Adagio in the bed. She was pale with a hint of yellow. Here teeth had fallen out and her once cartoonishly thick hair was almost completely gone now. Only a few wisps of white hair remained. She was extremely thin, a barely clothed skeleton. But those eyes, sunken in her face as they were, still burned with a fire that none could match. Sunset walked over, sat on her chair beside the bed, and took Adagio's hand. "How are you feeling?" she asked. "I'm dying; how do you think I feel?" Adagio groused back. "Oh you say that same dumb line every time." Sunset replied in an equally cranky voice. "That's because you keep asking the same damn question. You want a different answer, ask a different question." Adagio then began to cough. Sunset looked on in sadness and fear. It wouldn't be long before Adagio would no longer be by her side. Her voice existing only in old videos and her imagination. How would she go on? How do you go on when the person you've been the most intimate with, shared most of your life with, raised a child with, is suddenly not there? Knowing intellectually that every one dies is far different than actually experiencing the death of a loved one. Although at her age, she suspected she wouldn't be without her for long. Still. They had lost people before. All their friends had passed away. Rarity was first, then Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, Sonata, and then Twilight. Well, she guessed Aria was truly first, but they were enemies; Aria was trying to kill them at the time. So for her that didn't count, but for Adagio it probably did. They had been together for fourteen hundred years. Attempted murder was probably a little thing after that much time together. But losing a friend, even a best friend like Twilight was much different than losing your spouse; a person you dedicated your life and whole being too. "Lauryn is coming by today. Her, Randy, Melody, and Jacob." Sunset said. Lauryn was their daughter, Randy her husband, and Melody and Jacob their grand children. "I know, I know. I have cancer, not Alzheimer's." ******************************************************************************************************************** Sunset stood at the bathroom sink, brushing her teeth. She had a t-shirt on and a pair of panties. After she was done brushing her teeth, she would get a shower, get dressed, and then head on out to school and her class of fifth graders. She really loved teaching that age group. They were in that butter zone between the wildness of early childhood and the crankiness of being a teenager. Sunset bent over to spit and when she came back she saw Adagio walk into the bathroom. She had on a tan jacket, purple button up shirt, and tan pants. Her hair was tied back in a smart bun. "Please, don't stand for me," she said as she walked up beside Sunset and started applying her make-up. "I never get tired of seeing that ass." She then gave Sunset a playful smack on her rear. Sunset took the tooth brush out of her mouth, spit once more and replied, "I hope not 'cause it's all yours." She then gave a little butt wiggle. "Oh Mommy!" Adagio playfully responded. Sunset's face grew serious. "Speaking of which," she started to say but was cut off by Adagio. "No, not this again. I told you," Sunset and Adagio had been married seven years now. Each was in her early thirties biologically (of course both were far older than that). According to their official paper work, Adagio was thirty-four and Sunset thirty-two. Sunset had become an elementary school teacher and Adagio ran her own public relations firm. Life was good and they were financially stable. A couple years ago Sunset had approached Adagio about having a child. At first Adagio thought she meant adopting or invitro-fertilization. Then Sunset explained that she could access the goddess power and impregnate Adagio. The child would be 100% biologically theirs. The only catch, Sunset would lose any ability to harness the goddess power except in times of emergency. Adagio had categorically refused. Her main reason she gave Sunset was because she didn't want to become pregnant and put her body through that. The real reason (not that the one she gave Sunset wasn't true, because it was), was she didn't want Sunset to lose that connection. A year previous, a couple men tried to attack them after a date. It was only Sunset being able to access the goddess power that kept them from being raped and murdered. Adagio couldn't bear to think about Sunset not having that ability to protect herself. Adagio would go mad with worry every time Sunset was alone. "But we're getting older." Sunset interrupted right back. "The longer we wait, the harder it will be." "On me!" Adagio replied angrily. "You're not the one who's going to have to carry the kid. You're not the one who's going to have to deal with morning sickness, stretch marks, having a little person sitting on your bladder, moving and kicking, and then either pushing out your nether regions or having it cut out of you. I will! So no." "But I want us to have a child together. To bring a person into this world that's part me and you so that some part of us will be together forever." Sunset pleaded. "Darling," Adagio said in a much softer voice, "I understand. I do. And that is such a romantic idea. But I'm not, nor will I ever be ready. Maybe adopting someday, but never that. I can't, I won't put myself through that." "Just keep thinking about it ok? Please, for me." Adagio wiped Sunset's mouth and gave her a kiss. "I love you. I always will. For that I will think about it, but the answer will always be no. I can't see myself ever changing my mind on that." Sunset nodded sadly. Adagio gave sunset a hug. "It's time for me to go now. I'll see you tonight." She turned around and started to leave. "Have a good day," she said as she walked out. Sunset was broken hearted as Adagio left but she knew wife too well to push the argument to far at once. She would just try to whittle her down until she either relented or became too old to carry a child. Unfortunately, she suspected the later would come first. Sunset finished getting ready. She wore a long sleeved, maroon, button up shirt, an ankle length black skirt, and a pair of black wedges. She did minimal make-up since the kids didn't care how "pretty" she looked and there were some of her fellow teachers she didn't want to think of her as pretty. She grabbed her purse and off she went. ************************************************************************ Sunset sat at her desk doing some paper work as her students started shuffling in. She looked up and smiled and waved at each one as they came through the door. Sure they could work her to her last nerve but she loved all of them and this was her favorite part of the day. Some were happy, some were silly, some cranky, but it didn't matter. Then she saw Jacob. Jacob was a small, quiet boy. He only talked when he had too and never seemed to have any friends. She tried to bring him out of his shell as best she could, but he never really responded. Her heart kind of broke for the boy. Now it was in full shock for the boy had a massive black eye. She wanted to immediately run up to him and ask what had happened but knew he would never say in front of everybody or even if she took him out in the hall. So she decided to wait until lunch time. There she could hold him back and maybe find out what happened. The entire morning felt like it crawled by. No matter how hard she tried to keep focused on the days lessons; she kept wishing the lunch bell would ring so she could talk to Jacob. Finally the bell rang and the students lined up at the door. Sunset went over to them and dismissed them. Kindergarteners through fourth graders had to be accompanied by a teacher to lunch. The fifth graders being the oldest were allowed to walk by themselves. That and the fact that Jacob always went to the end of the line made everything easier for what Sunset wanted to do. As the kids slowly walked past her, she touched Jacob lightly on the shoulder. "Jacob, sweetie, mind staying back with me for a little bit? I'd like to talk to you." Jacobs eyes grew big with fear. "Uh, sure Mrs. Dazzle. What is it? Am I in trouble?" "No sweetie. Well not with me that is. Here, come up to my desk." She lead the boy over to her desk. Then she knelt down so she could look him straight in the eyes. "Honey, how did you get that black eye." Jacob looked panicked. He glanced this way and that, like he was looking for an escape route. He then looked back at Sunset and then down at the ground. "It's nothing. I - I - don't know." Sunset gently took his chin, lifted his head, and gave him a kiss on the forehead. "Sweetie, if someone did that to you, hurt you on purpose, you need to tell me. Ok? I can help; I can. And I will. But you need to tell me who did that to you." Jacob shook his head. "He said not to and he apologized. An apology makes it all better right?" "Honey, anyone can say sorry. But unless they are willing to own up to what they did wrong, then they're not actually sorry. They are just saying that so THEY don't get in trouble." Jacob looked confused. He didn't know what to say or think. "But this is the first time he's ever hit me and he said I was acting up so I needed punished." "Honey, no matter how much you 'act up'; no one should ever hit you. That's what bullies do. They make the victim feel like it was all there fault. But it's not. And I can also tell you that if they hit you once, they'll hit you again." "But, but, but, my mom loves him." "And she should love you too as well. You are her son, her baby boy. She will take your side. She wants to protect you like I want to protect you." Jacob's eyes kept moving back and forth as if he was a robot that was trying to scan every minute detail of Sunset's face. He was trying to make sense of everything Sunset had told him and his own feelings. Finally he looked down and said, "It was my mom's boyfriend, Henry." Sunset gave him a hug and told him, "Ok. Now let's go to the Principle and tell her ok?" Jacob shook his head yes and Sunset got up. As she did she saw Adagio standing in the doorway looking sad and a little shocked. Sunset just went, "Oh!" in surprise. "Mrs. Dazzle, who's she?" Jacob asked, somewhat afraid. "Well Jacob, that is Mrs. Dazzle's wife, Adagio," Sunset said, still in a state of surprise. "Nice to meet you Jacob," Adagio said and held out her hand. She sounded to anyone else to be completely normal but Sunset heard the slight tremble in her voice. Jacob took her hand and shook it. "You're both very pretty; no wonder you got married." Both Sunset and Adagio laughed and looked at each other. "Yes, well," Adagio said, "thank you and, yes, she is very pretty. Pretty woman alive, well, next to me that is." Sunset laughed and made a faux shocked face. "Ok, I see how it is," she said jokingly. "Anyway, I need to take Jacob to the Principle's office. You can wait here if you want. I don't know how long it'll be." "I'll wait here for a bit. Go ahead." Adagio then looked at Jacob. "It was nice to meet you Jacob. You are lucky, you have a wonderful teacher there." Jacob nodded and Sunset blushed. Then they both left. ********************************************************************************** Sunset came back and saw Adagio sitting on her desk. "Hey," she said softly. "Hey," Adagio replied equally as softly. "So how long were you standing there?" Sunset asked. "Long enough. Too long. After this morning, I felt bad and decided to come here and have lunch with you. I put it on you desk there," she pointed to a brown paper bag. "I hope you don't mind." Sunset walked over and gave Adagio a big hug. Adagio held her and Sunset rested her head on Adagio's chest. "Thank you," she said and then pulled away. "Why didn't you tell me you had to deal with stuff like that?" Adagio asked both sympathetically but still annoyed that Sunset never shared what she had to deal with, with her. "Well, legally, I can't," Sunset simply responded as she turn around to stand at Adagio's side. "Also, I have to leave that here. All of it. The kids with far too many bruises, the kids who are a little too alert, who jump the moment someone touches, I have to leave it all here or I'd go crazy." Sunset sighed and then went on. "I told him, we'd, his mommy, would protect him. I want to believe that but I don't know. Maybe things will turn out all right, but maybe they won't Maybe . . ." she trailed off letting the weight of the unknown hang over both of them. "I know you'll do you're best regardless," Adagio said. "You really are very good with those kids, you know." Sunset shrugged. "You will make a good mother," Adagio said again and Sunset just shrugged again. "No, you don't understand; YOU WILL MAKE A GREAT MOTHER." Adagio really hoped Sunset would get it this time. Sunset's head snapped around to look at Adagio. Her awash in shock and surprised. "Wait, are you . . . are you . . ." Adagio smiled. "Yes, I'm saying exactly what you think I'm saying." Sunset hugged Adagio so tight she could barely breath. Then she pulled away and asked, "But . . . This morning?" "Anyone who loves kids and does everything you do to help as you, deserves to be a mother." Adagio simply said. "Don't, don't do this just for . . ." Adagio put her finger up to Sunset's mouth. "Everything I do is just for you," she said with a laugh. Then she got really serious. "And I want it as well. I do." "I love you," Sunset said with tears streaming down her face. "You'd better," Adagio said with fake sternness. She then softened and said, "Tonight. I want to do it tonight. Before I get cold feet." "Are you really sure? Once we do this, it's done." Sunset didn't want to push the issue in fear Adagio would change her mind, but she also wanted Adagio to 100% onboard. She didn't wan any regrets. Adagio pulled Sunset close and whispered in her ear, "Tonight, take me and make me a mother." Then she lightly breathed in Sunset's ear. Sunset shook in delight and the rest of the school day went even slower than the first. Sunset smiled and rubbed Adagio's cheek. The wrinkles in Adagio's cheek catching on the wrinkles on Sunset's hand. "I know my love; but you are old as well." With that they both laughed at Sunset's inside joke. Adagio coughed some more then sighed. "Yes, yes I am. I guess it's past, been past my time to go. I shouldn't feel bad. I've lived longer than any human who's ever lived. I've seen more sunrises than I can ever remember, I've seen empires rise and fall. I guess it's time for my final sunset." She then looked over at Sunset. "Another good double meaning, huh?" She smiled a bit but saw Sunset start to cry. Adagio tried to roll over and caress Sunset's cheek but didn't have the strength. So she simply put her hand over Sunset's. "Don't cry my angel. If not me, then you; and I don't have the strength to sit and watch you die." "Oh please; you're the mighty Adagio. You can handle anything." "And your the vessel for a goddess!" Adagio quipped back. She then shook her head. "Not strong enough to lose you." She paused for a few seconds and then asked, "So what time will Lauryn be here?" "Probably around two. That's what she said." ************************************************************************************************************* Sunset stood at her front door, not sure what awaited her on the other side. What could she, should she expect? Images of Adagio naked, surrounded by candles and roses, waiting for her popped into her head. What was the protocol for coming home knowing you were going to make a baby? Do you just rush in and do it? Or wait until that night? Finally she just decided to walk in and see what happened. She opened the door and the house looked the same as always. No candles, no roses, no naked Adagio. It was the same as it always had been. Sunset wondered if she should call out. She didn't want to look like she was being pushy. But then, she didn't see Adagio. Maybe she was waiting in the bedroom. Sunset hung up her purse and jacket and decided to go to the bedroom to see. "Welcome home." Sunset turned around at the sound of Adagio's voice. She was coming out of the bedroom and had changed into a pair of jeans and a plain white t-shirt. She was in her bare feet and had let her hair down. She was naked, wearing lingerie, or even dressed in a particularly sexy manner. Maybe she changed her mind. "Thanks. It's good to be home." Sunset took her shoes off and placed them by door. Adagio walked over to her, the two hugged and kissed, and Adagio walked over to the kitchen area. "I'm making supper tonight. I hope you don't. I know you're a much better cook than I am, but I want to do something nice." "Awe babe," Sunset said with real affection and surprise. "You don't have to." "Of course I don't," Adagio said with a laugh. "Since when do I do anything I don't want to?" "True, true," Sunset replied with a small laugh. "I want to though. It's, well, our special night." Adagio's voice grew quiet at the end of the sentence. She hadn't forgot or changed her mind. Sunset nodded, showing she understood. Adagio continued. "I got a hot bath ready for. You can relax while I make supper." "You're too good to me," Sunset said as she walked over and gave Adagio a kiss on the cheek. "I know," she playfully replied. Sunset went to the bathroom and saw a steaming bath ready for her. She started to undress when beside the tub she saw a rose with a note underneath. She went over and picked it up. The note simply said: I'm not wearing any underwear. Please return the favor. Love Adagio . Sunset smiled and shook her head. "Will do," she said quietly to herself. ********************************************************************************** The two sat at the kitchen table picking at the spaghetti and meatballs Adagio made. Sunset thought it was kind of sweet; kind of like a homage to Lady and the Tramp and it wasn't Chef Boy-Ar-Dee either, so another bonus. Sunset had put on an oversized grey sweat shirt that came down mid thigh. She didn't have a bra on but had put a purple pair of lace panties. She couldn't make herself go full commando. "Soooo," Sunset said, feeling like she should say something, "how was your day?" Adagio shrugged. "I had to fire someone today. Another man who thought he could intimidate me." Adagio spoke casually with no emotion. She was used to dealing with men and their fragile egos. Even when they knew that their boss was a woman, they just couldn't help themselves and try to take over. Adagio didn't tolerate any of it. She might be a reformed, mortal villain; but she was still and always will be a Siren at heart. "How'd the rest of your day?" Sunset shrugged. "I can't say much. I can't really say anything, actually. Oh, Jacob wanted me to tell you he really liked you." Adagio smiled. "Tell him I liked him as well." The two fell into silence once again. Twirling spaghetti, taking little bites, and not looking at each other. Finally Sunset broke the silence again. "I'll understand if . . ." "No." It was short, authoritative, but not angry. "I'm scared, I'm nervous, but I'm ready. I want this." She then reached across the table and took Sunset's hand and held it. "Do you still want this?" Sunset nodded. "More than anything. But now that it's here, that we're getting ready to do this, I'm like you - scared and nervous. It's a really big change." "I know it is. Why do you think I refused for so long. But we handled far worse and bigger." "True. And the entire multi-verse doesn't hang in the balance either. I don't think." Both Sunset and Adagio busted out laughing. Adagio then got up, still holding Sunset's hand. "Come on. No sense in waiting any longer," she gently said. "But what about the dishes?" Adagio laughed. "If we still have the energy afterwards, we can do them then. They won't go anywhere." Adagio then lifted Sunset to her feet, wrapped her arms around and held her close. "I'm ready." Sunset nodded and kissed Adagio deeply on the lips. Adagio then led Sunset to the bedroom. She stopped right before the bed and the two faced each other; each scanning the others face to see what the other was thinking. Adagio smiled and pulled Sunset in close. She gently took her right hand and ran her index finger along Sunset's hair line, slowly putting her hair behind her ear. Then she went in and started to slowly, gently kiss her cheek, starting right below her left eye and moving to her left ear which she lovingly nibbled and licked. Sunset felt waves of pleasure wash over her entire body. She pulled Adagio close and started rubbing her back. Adagio moved down from Sunset's ear to her neck. Each time she would bring her mouth close, letting Sunset feel the her hot breath on her skin; then lowering her mouth the rest of the way so that her tongue actually touched first, giving a small licking sensation before her lips made contact to gently suck the stop before moving on. From the side of the neck to the front of the neck, to up her chin, to eventually her mouth where the two kissed. Their tongues gently penetrating each other's mouths, rolling around, and then the would slowly part and look into each others eyes. "I love you Adagio," Sunset said as she stared into Adagio's eyes, still massaging her back. Adagio smiled as she brushed Sunset's hair back from her face. "I love you too." Adagio then started to run her index finger softly over Sunset's face. "I love your eyes, your lips, you're cute little nose," both giggled at that. "I love the way you look at me." Adagio's voice grew quieter, softer. "I love the way you make me feel when you look at me. You see something in me, something I don't always see in myself. I always feel special, safe, loved, when you look at me." Now both Adagio and Sunset were on the verge of tears. "You brought, you bring the best out of me. You saved me, literally and figuratively. Everything I have, everything I am, I owe to you." Sunset stopped rubbing Adagio's back in awe of what she had just said. "You saved yourself. I just gave you the room and support you needed to do it." Adagio started to shake her head but Sunset went on. "I, you, you turned my world upside down. I saw in you myself. And talking to you, getting to know, I just felt, I don't know, I can't explain. The more I got to know you, the more I got to know myself. The connection I felt and feel with you is so deep. You're my everything Adagio." Slowly, with eyes wide open they moved in to kiss again; their eyes closing just at the last millisecond before their lips touched. Adagio pulled away, lightly sucking on Sunset's bottom lip. Sunset stepped back and pulled up Adagio's shirt to just bellow her breasts. She then slowly started kissing her way up Adagio's stomach, starting at just above her jeans to where she had Adagio's shirt lifted to. She then lifted it up a little further to expose the underside of Adagio's left breast which she sucked and nibbled on. She moved her mouth up around the side of the breast, exposing only what she needed. Then she lifted Adagio's shirt all the way to expose the nipple. Adagio took ahold of the shirt as to allow Sunset to have two free hands. Sunset put her left arm around Adagio's waist while she gently squeezed and kneaded Adagio's left breast with her right hand. Her tongue slowly circled around the perimeter of the nipple before flicking rapidly over the tip. She the brought her whole mouth around and began to suckle it. Adagio tilted her head back and moaned in delight. Sunset slowly pulled off, giving a soft bite to the nipple then she kissed it. Sunset stood up and took Adagio's shirt all the way off. She then unbuttoned Adagio's jeans and pulled them down. Once she was down to floor; Sunset kissed up Adagio's leg: the shin, the knee, the thigh, the hip, stopping at just above Adagio's slit. She looked up Adagio; rubbing her buttocks, and said, "Alright, lay down, on your front." "Ewwww. Taking me from behind tonight?" Sunset slapped Adagio on the butt and said, "Just do it," and laughed. Adagio laid face down on the bed while Sunset went into the bathroom. She returned quickly naked with a bottle of massage oil. She poured a little on Adagio's back. Adagio winces at the coldness of the liquid. It wasn't un-pleasurable. In fact it made her already heightened nerves tingle even more. Sunset then proceeded to massage Adagio, starting with the back of her neck and shoulders. "Mmmm, that feels so nice," she said. "You deserve it," Sunset replied lovingly as she moved down Adagio's back. "Do I?" Adagio asked more seriously than what she should have. "To me you do," Sunset flatly answered back. "And, honestly, it's only my opinion that matters my love." Adagio laid there, somewhat troubled but didn't know why. All she knew is that something didn't feel right. But soon those feelings gave to the pleasure of Sunset's magic (literally) fingers. Sunset worked her way down Adagio's left leg, back up, and down her right leg. "Ok, turn over," Sunset simply said. Adagio rolled over as she was told and Sunset went to work on the front of her legs. This time, instead of going down one then the other, she worked the right foot, then left foot; left shin, right shin; right thigh, left thigh. Once she was down with the legs, her right hand gently started to caress the outside of Adagio's slit. Down and up, down and up; her finger tips barely touching the vaginal lips. The feeling caused tiny ripples of pleasure and excite to roll through Adagio's entire body. Sunset got on the bed beside Adagio, never stopping the caressing of Adagio's pussy. Adagio rolled toward Sunset, taking her head in her hands and kissing her passionately. Sunset's hand now parted Adagio's lips and started rubbing her swollen clit. Adagio rolled Sunset onto her back and kissed her way down to Sunset's left breast and started suckling it. Then her hand went between Sunset's wide open legs and started to swiftly rub Sunset's clit. "No, no," Sunset said. "On your back. You eat, I finger." Adagio then rolled onto her back again. Sunset then got on top in the 69 position. Adagio wrapped her arms around Sunset's waist and brought her dripping wet pussy to her mouth. The scent drove Adagio crazy and she immediately went to work on Sunset's clit with her lips and tongue. Sunset, in turn, vigorously rubbed Adagio's clit. Side to side, up and down, circular; she worked it every which way. She place her palm over it, sticking the tips of her middle and ring finger inside Adagio's vagina. She then started to rub Adagio's clit with her palm, occasionally stopping to stick her fingers deeper inside of her wife. Sunset's body began to glow, little sparks started emanating off of her. She and Adagio slowly started to float of the bed but neither noticed. Each was lost in their own passions. The harder Sunset masturbated Adagio, the harder Adagio ate Sunset's pussy. The two women were now an electrical current, each feeding into the other. "Cum for me baby!" Sunset begged. Adagio could only respond in muffled cries of joy. Sunset suddenly felt a well of energy build up inside her. Her whole body seemed to melt away as she became a being of pure energy. And still it built and built. It built to the point where Sunset felt she couldn't take it anymore and still it kept building. She masturbated Adagio even harder and faster; furiously rubbing her clit, her fingers going deep inside her wife's pussy. Mean while Adagio was going mad licking and sucking Sunset's clit. Then all the energy in Sunset's body suddenly rushed out of her, into the hand she was fucking Adagio with and exploded into Adagio's pussy. Adagio and Sunset screamed in animalistic delight. In all their years together, that had never orgasmed at the same time; tonight not only did they cum together, it was the best orgasm either had ever had. Once it was over, the women came crashing down to the bed. At first neither could move. In fact both weren't even capable of coherent thought. Their drifted as in a stupor, their bodies just twitched, they panted heavily, completely out of breath. Finally they both started giggling, then laughing. Sunset rolled off of Adagio and laid beside her. Adagio turned over to face Sunset. "Fuck," Adagio said, still slightly out of breath and laughing. "Yeah," Sunset responded likewise. "Shit if I would have known that, I would have knocked you up years ago!" Then both stopped laughing and they just looked at each other; the full weight of what had happened now sinking in. "I'm, we're, going to be mommies," Adagio said in a soft, low voice. "Yeah, we are," Sunset sounded a cross between excited and surprised. After all the fighting and arguing and then the consent; here it was, Adagio was now pregnant. That was the one good thing about magic as opposed to sperm; magic always got the job done. "So, how do you feel?" "I don't know," replied Adagio. "It just happened, so I feel like I always do after great sex; happy, tired, and like I got to pee." With that they both busted out laughing. It was the big, rich, full laugh which can only come from a place of pure joy. Then they slowly started to trail off. Each looked at the other with wide eyed love and satisfaction. They both started caressing the other's face. "I love you Mrs. Dazzle," Sunset said. "And I love you too, Mrs. Dazzle," Adagio replied. "You know," Sunset said mischievously, "once the baby's born, we won't have much time for this anymore. So how about we get all the fucking in we can before that?" Adagio smiled. "Why Mrs. Dazzle; I do believe you're on to something there." They two started to kiss; lightly at first, them more passionately. Adagio rolled Sunset onto her back and Sunset spread her legs. Adagio climbed on top. The two wrapped their arms around each other as they continued to kiss, their hips moving together in a rhythmic pattern. Neither one got much sleep that night. *********************************************************************************************************************** "Mom!" Lauryn said as she got off the elevator. She was the perfect blend of both Sunset's and Adagio's features. Strikingly beautiful (even at 51), her golden, red hair just kissed by streaks of white, piercing bluish green eyes, and an athletic, hour-glass figure. She hugged Sunset, on the verge of tears. "How is she?" she asked. Sunset shook her head unable to make eye contact. "You know your Momma. She's a fighter, but this . . ., she's . . . ," Sunset sighed heavily, searching for the words that would express what she meant without having to say them. But they all seemed too cute, too childish for the gravity of the situation. Finally she gave in sadly and said, "It's not long. A couple days maybe." With that both mother and daughter collapsed into each others arms crying. Randy, Melody (19), and Jacob (21) stood back giving Sunset and Lauryn their grieving space. Randy was an extremely well groomed, well mannered black man. He met Lauryn in college. They had gotten into a fight the first time they met. After it was over, she asked him out on a date and the rest was history. Jacob, their eldest child was named after the boy who had made Adagio decide it was time to have a child. He was loud and rebellious, which meant he and his Grandmother Adagio just loved each other. Melody was quiet and introspective. She was a book worm which reminded Sunset of herself as a filly. After a few minutes, Sunset and Lauryn separated and Sunset opened up her arms and said, "Aw, come here you two. Give granny S a hug please." Both grandchildren did as they were told and hugged Sunset, themselves crying. Sunset then looked at Randy. "You too Randel." "Only you could call me that Mommy S." Mommy S was his name for Sunset. Having two Mrs. Dazzles made things a bit confusing so he called Sunset Mommy S and Adagio Mommy A. "I'll miss her you know," He whispered in Sunset's ear. "You two were more of a mother to me than my own." "I know baby, I know," Sunset whispered back. Randy stepped back to stand with his family. Sunset looked at them and the weight of time crashed down on her. Her daughter, her baby, was a mother with greying hair, her grand babies were young adults, and her wife, the love of her life since "high school", was an old woman on her death bed. Hell, she was an old woman. Time takes what time wants. No love, no money, no threat could keep the tyrant away. With one, heavy, solemn breath, Sunset asked, "Are you ready to see her now?" ******************************************************************************* It was 1:30 in the morning and Adagio was exhausted. She hadn't slept properly since Lauryn was born. It seemed like every two hours the kid needed something. This time it was feed. So Adagio nursed her on the coach while Sunset sat beside her, Stroking Adagio's hair. "You didn't have to get too you know," Adagio said. She was so tired she couldn't tell if she was mad at Sunset or happy she was here. "Of course I did. We're in this together babe. Besides, I get to look at your boobs." Adagio snorted. The joke wasn't that funny but she gave Sunset high marks for making the attempt. "You can see those anytime." Adagio laid her head back on the couch and tried not to fall asleep. "You want me to take over?" Sunset asked sympathetically. As soon as Adagio had begun showing signs of being pregnant, Sunset's responded in kind. Morning sickness, cravings, and after Adagio gave birth, Sunset started lactating as well. Adagio did most of the feedings, but Sunset would help as well. Adagio shook her head. "No, she just started. It hurts when she only takes one breast. I'll switch her shortly. If she still wants more, you can have her." Sunset caressed Adagio forehead and kissed her on the cheek. Adagio smiled sleepily at her. Sunset's face went from loving to concerned. "Hun, I think you should take sometime off work, like a year or so." Adagio's face grew cross. "What do you mean?" she asked with a strong hint of anger in her voice. "I'm already taking 3 months off." "But I don't think that'll be enough. More so for you than Lauryn. How are you going to go back to work as tired as you are?" "I'll make do," Adagio replied defensively. "Before I gave birth, heck, before I was pregnant, I had men seeking to undermine me and take over. Take over my own company!" Adagio got loud, Lauryn squirmed and Sunset went to quiet her down. Adagio breathed deeply and continued. "I am a woman in a male dominated field. No, I'm a woman who has to work with men, period. They're bossy, pushy, manipulative. I get it, you got a dick, you don't have to be one. "I understand your concern; I do," Adagio looked at Sunset with all the love she could muster, "But Just by taking the time off I am, I risk who knows what. I keep thinking what's going on, what are they up to. It's takes all I have not to just drive over there and check just to make sure they're following my orders." "Then what if I take a year off?" Sunset asked hesitantly. "Why?" Adagio asked backed in obvious frustration. "How is you taking a year off going to help me?" "Weeelllll, since I wouldn't need to worry about getting up for work or grading papers when I got home, I could devote all my time to Lauryn so you could just relax and sleep through the night." "Never lie to a liar Sunset. You're well past your prime in that respect." Adagio said with sheer disdain as she shifted Lauryn to her other breast. "Lauryn crying would still wake me up regardless; and once up, I couldn't go back to sleep. Also, if you take off, we lose a paycheck. As owner of the company, I still get a salary no matter what. What's this really about?" "I told you." Now Sunset was becoming angry. How dare Adagio question her. "You're not even at work and you're ran down. What do you think is going to happen once you do go back? All those men who are trying to steam roll you; guess what? - they're going to work doubly hard once they see you're exhausted. "We can survive on one income. We may have to cut back on a few things, but nothing major. But if you can't . . ." "I WILL!" Adagio shouted and Lauryn started crying. "Damnit Sunset! look what you made me do!" "Me? You're the one who screamed! Here, giver her here. I'll take care of her." "Of course you will! You're Little Miss Perfect! You're Little Miss Martyr. So willing to nail yourself upon your cross to show how bad a mother I am!" Now Sunset started yelling back. "That is not what I said or meant and you know it! If anything I was saying the opposite. You do so much around here, so much for Lauryn and me, I want to see you have a break. I want to see you happy! Look who's being the martyr now!" "Oh, so I'm not happy enough for you? Maybe it's because I have a company where my own male employees treat me like a secretary! Or that I have to deal with Alpha male douche bag clients who treat me like some sort of bimbo they can boss around and when I show them I'm not, then I'm suddenly a bitch and a cunt!" "And that's why you need to be on top form! You know the effects of prolonged sleep deprivation! You need all your strength to put up with that shit!" Adagio was about to respond when she couldn't take Lauryn's crying anymore. She picked the kid up and was about to shake her and yell at her when she realized what she was about to do. She froze in place and stared wide eyed at her crying daughter. She quickly handed her off to Sunset and ran off crying. About two hours later, Sunset came to their bedroom. Adagio was hugging her knees on the bed, still crying. Sunset walked over to the bed, sat down beside her, and put her arm around her. "It's ok," she said softly. "No, it's not," Adagio replied in a somewhat muted shock. "I almost . . .," she couldn't continue. The sheer thought of what she was going to do caused her to break down in fresh sobs. "But you didn't, that's the main thing." Sunset then kissed her on the cheek. Adagio turned to Sunset and said, "I don't deserve you. You're too kind, love me too well." "And you return all I give a hundred fold over Adagio Dazzle. I took your name for a reason. You're my best friend, my lover, my hero." "How can you say all that? After all that I did in the past and was going to do now?" "You changed. You changed in the most difficult circumstances. You could have killed me and Twilight, all of us. You didn't. Just like you didn't do anything now. You stopped and caught yourself. And besides, I wasn't any better than you. We're both reformed villains my dear. And you reformed without a friendship blast. So you're my hero." Adagio grabbed Sunset's head and kissed her on the lips. "I love you!" she said through fresh tears. "I love you too," Sunset replied. "And I'll take a year off. You are right as always." "And don't you forget it!" Sunset teased. Adagio laughed. "I won't. But, one condition. I want you to work for me while I'm gone. Not full time; but from time to time, maybe on Monday's and Fridays, just go in and check on things for me? Make sure everyone is doing as they're supposed to, ok?" "I'll have to check with the school. During the summer, it'll be fine; but during the school year, it might be a problem. I'll do my best no matter what. I promise." Adagio hugged Sunset and laid her head on her shoulder. "I know you will sweetie; I know you will." ***************************************************************************** "Lauryn! Randy! Babies!" Adagio exclaimed happily from her bed as they all entered her Passing room. Lauryn and all stopped as soon as they saw Adagio. The once proud, strong woman was now weak and frail, barely fleshed bones. Her body was now decimated by time, cancer, and the treatments they used to keep it at bay. Lauryn tried not to gasp but couldn't help it. She then ran over to Adagio weeping. "Momma, Momma, I'm so sorry. I should have been here sooner." Lauryn hugged Adagio as as she thought she could with breaking her. Adagio just smiled and patted her on the back. "There, there baby. It was always going to come to this. It always comes to this. We're born, we live, we die. Like or not, that's how things are." Lauryn stood up and Adagio fixed her eyes on Randy. "And how are you doing old man?" she teased. "Oh, keeping in there. This daughter of yours keeps me busy. The kids here take care of the rest of my time." He teased back. "How they treatin' you here Momma A?" "Oh, the staff isn't so bad. It's that one, right there," she pointed to Sunset with faux anger. "She's the one who's always fussing and fidgeting over me." Sunset waved Adagio off with one hand. "I've been fussing over you since high school you old bat. I see no reason to change now." "I just can't believe it," Melody said in earnest awe. "You two have been together since high school. That is so amazing!" "It's not amazing Melly," Adagio said with a grin, "it's love." ****************************************************************************** Sunset hurriedly sat the table, stopping only to occasionally push her glasses back up he nose; worried that something would be out of place. Lauryn was coming to visit from college with her new boyfriend and she wanted everything to be just right. She had on a dark blue blouse and black slacks. Her hair was short, in a bob cut; still majority red but with noticeable wisps of white throughout it. Adagio laughed to herself and shook her head at how serious her wife was taking this whole thing. Lauryn had had multiple boyfriends and girlfriends through the years and none lasted more than a couple months. Even if this one did last, so what. The kids would be into each other, not the table setting. "I can't believe you're taking it this seriously." Adagio said, playfully picking at Sunset. "And I can't believe you're wearing that," Sunset snapped back. Adagio's hair was also much shorter than it used to be but was so thick, it actually looked like she had more hair. And like Sunset's, streaks of white ran through it. Neither women felt the need to disguise their ages from each other. She had a thick, scratchy, grey, black, and red plaid pants suit. It was the type of suit that no matter when it was worn, always looked twenty years out of date. Adagio shrugged. "It's a family dinner, not a formal ball. You're lucky I'm wearing this." Sunset shot Adagio a dirty look then nodded. "True," she simply said. As if on cue the door bell rang just then and Sunset stood straight up with a panicked look on her face. Adagio walked over to her and gave her a quick hug. "You finish up my love, I'll get the door. AND stall if needs be." "Oh thank you!" Sunset relied in relief and gave Adagio a quick, hard hug. Adagio walked to the front door and opened it up. On the porch was Lauryn, with her out of style long, straight hair and her boyfriend, Randy. Adagio looked him over real fast before Lauryn gave her a hug. "MOMMA!" Lauryn said with love and excitement. "My little Siren." Adagio pulled away and gave Lauryn a kiss on the cheek. "How are you my baby?" "Momma! I'm not a baby." Lauryn wasn't sure which she was more embarrassed by; her mother calling her a baby or her reaction to her mother calling her a baby. "Anyway, this is Randy, my boyfriend I told you about." "Nice to meet you Randel," Adagio said politely and stuck out her hand. Randy took it but Adagio noticed he winced when she called him "Randel". So she made a mental note to call him that as often as possible. "Nice to meet you Mrs. Dazzle." The thousand plus years she had been here on earth gave her a pretty good read on people. She saw Randy was very neat, well groomed, and spoke with a curt, respectful tone. He was a person who knew others judged people on their appearance and did his best to present himself in his best light but not stick out. He wanted to be respected but not to look as if he was intruding upon anyone's consciousness. "Well come on in you two," Adagio said as she motioned them in. "Your Mom is still getting supper ready so go to the living room please. Have a seat and we'll call you when all is ready." Adagio then shut the door and left for the dining room. "So?" asked Sunset impatiently as she finished up setting the table. "How is he?" "Alright I suppose," Adagio said in her best "Meh" voice. "A little uptight for my tastes, but we'll see." "Be nice!" Sunset sternly told Adagio. "What?" asked Adagio innocently as she shrugged her shoulders and put her hands up. "I know you. You like to pick and tease. Just don't ok? At least until we know what type of guy he is. Then, if we don't like him; unleash hell." Sunset finished with a smile on her face. "Ok, here's the plan, You sit at the head of the table, I'll sit to your right. Lauryn and Randy will sit on the opposite side of me, with Lauryn directly across. With at the head, that'll establish dominance. By sitting to your right, I'll show where united. You'll be able to keep tabs on her boyfriend, and I can keep an eye on Lauryn. Sounds good?" "Pound it." Adagio replied and the two fist bumped. Adagio then left, got Lauryn and Randy, brought them in, and Sunset seated them. "Looks great Mom," Lauryn said as she sat down to an already prepared plate of food. "Randy, Mom here is an excellent cook. I mean head chef level, you're going to enjoy this." Lauryn had already told Randy this but thought saying it again in front of Sunset might but her in a friendlier mood. Randy nodded. "Everything looks good Mrs. Dazzle." He smiled nervously. He had been to enough girlfriends homes to know he was being sized up. He really wanted to make a good impression on Mrs. and Mrs. Dazzle. Since they first started dating, Randy had fallen quite in love with Lauryn and wanted nothing more than her mothers to like him. Relationships were hard, but even harder when you got one or more parents working against you. "Well, I won't keep you waiting any longer, dig in." Sunset was pleased her daughter and boyfriend were trying to butter her up. It meant they still realized she and Adagio had power over them. It was really going to suck when the realized they didn't anymore. Randy waited until everyone else had started eating before he took a bite. Lauryn was right; her mom was an amazing cook. "Mrs. Dazzle, this is great! I'm surprised you didn't become a chef." "Nah," Sunset playfully dismissed his compliment. "The quickest way to kill the joy you have for something is to make it your living. Besides, I had no desire to put up with all the male chest thumping that goes." For a while Sunset, Adagio, and Lauryn just talked. They asked how she and Randy met, they asked how her studies were going, what she planned on doing after college, and she asked how they were doing. Randy just ate. He loved his food so much, that to try and talk while eating it seemed like a crime. Adagio watched him. She allowed him to enjoy his meal for a bit before deciding to start to question him. "So, Randel, Lauryn asked you out after you had gotten into an argument. That must have been strange." Randy stiffened a bit. He hated the name Randel. But he smiled and replied, "It was. But as she told me; it showed I had character. Most guys would bite their tongue because they wanted to see if they had a chance first. The fact I didn't showed I had a core moral belief system that I wouldn't deviate from." "And he said that almost verbatim," Lauryn added. Adagio nodded approvingly. "So, what are you taking? You're major I mean." Adagio's tone was regal. She sounded like a queen addressing one of her subjects. Not over the top, but enough so everyone knew who was in charge. "Business and accounting. Honestly since the collapse of most of the world's governments because of the great meltdown of 2026, large, global enterprises are the only things left that are providing any type of order. So B and F is the only real way to go. I might not like it, but it's all we have." Adagio sneered a bit. She had seen this "system" before. It was feudalism. Of, the new aristocracy wasn't as vulgar as to crown themselves with pretentious titles like Lord or Duke, but it was still the same. A handful of moneyed elites controlling everything. "Yes, well, it is what it is for now. But times change," she said with a cold fury howling beneath her even voice. Randy knew he was on dangerous ground. He could continue on through this mind field and hope he had enough skill to survive or retreat. He chose to retreat. "Lauryn said you two have been together since high school. That's amazing. My mom was a single parent by choice. She was part of the new Libertarian professional movement. Which is to say she was a selfish witch who only thought of herself and left the nannies do all the work of raising me. I was a doll to her, nothing more." "I see," said Adagio flatly. "Oh, and you can say bitch here dear. There are no virgin ears here." Randy looked down at the table trying to conceal an awkward smile. "So, was it love at first sight?" he asked once he was able to raise his head. Sunset and Adagio looked at each other and busted out laughing. "Oh dear me no!" Adagio said still laughing. "We hated each other." "It's true," Sunset chimed in. Randy looked confused so Sunset decided to explain as best she could without telling him the exact truth (ponying up, Adagio being an immortal monster, that sort of thing). "Adagio and I are both Alphas. Top dogs, so to speak. When two alphas get around each other, there's always teeth baring, growling, and chest thumping over who's going to control what." "We both tried to rule the school," Adagio added and had to do all she could not to add "literally" to her sentence. "So what changed?" Randy asked confused. "The situation around us did," Adagio said. "We had a problem that faced both of us so we decided to . . . " Sunset looked at Adagio to see if she knew the right word to say. "Put our differences aside," Adagio finished. "And once we did that, we found we had a lot in common. More so we enjoyed each others company. We became friends, best friends, then girlfriends. It was all organic." "But still," Randy started again, still confused, "how can two alpha personalities co-exist like you two do? Wouldn't you bump heads all they time?" "Not if you love each other," Sunset said. "I know that sounds trite and clichéd, but it's true. We make allowances for one and another. She asked me to marry her and I took her last name. She makes most of the day to day decisions, but I have final say." "When you love someone you find your rhythm, your boundaries," Adagio started talking. "You learn to expand when your partner shrinks and shrink when they expand. You kneel when they stand then they kneel when you stand. It's like when land meets the ocean. Eventually the two lean to conform to the other so that at the end, one's not the land or the ocean anymore but you become something new, you become the shore." As Adagio spoke, she and Sunset slowly stopped noticing Lauryn and Randy. The looked deep into each others eyes and subconsciously reached out to hold each other's hand. Lauryn looked at her mothers and a tear formed in her eye. She was over taken every time she saw the love that they had for each other. There's was a magical bond which she hoped to someday get a taste of. Randy was just in awe that two people could love each other so deeply. His mother loved one person, herself. It had jaded to the idea that one person could ever care for another (though he tried to prove himself wrong). But now here was his proof that, in fact, two people could and he bowed down before it. Their was love was beyond romantic, it was Holy. The dinner went on for about another hour. At the end, Sunset and Adagio cleaned the table and did the dishes while Lauryn and Randy went to their room and unpacked. After that they sat in the living room, talked for another three hours before Sunset and Adagio went to bed. Once in bed, Sunset turned to Adagio and asked, "Honest opinion?" Adagio thought for a second then said, "I like him. If he sticks, I'll be ok with that. At least for now." Sunset nodded. "Me too." She reached out and caressed Adagio's cheek. "I love you more than anything Adagio Dazzle. Thank you for making me your wife." Adagio kissed Sunset on the lips. "And I must thank you for accepting. I'd be dead if it were not for you my love. All that I am is because of you." Sunset then got a wicked grin on her face. "I know the kids are here, buuuuut . . ." Adagio smiled back. "Don't worry. The sound of their headboard banging will drown out the sound of ours banging." And with that, the two made love. ****************************************************************************** It was just Sunset and Adagio now. Lauryn and her family had gone back to their hotel. Now it was just them as it should be. Adagio's breath was becoming shallower and she was struggling more to maintain it. The end was near. Adagio knew it and so did Sunset. "It's . . . almost time . . . to say goodbye my love," Adagio said, looking into Sunset's eyes. Sunset shook her head yes and said, "I know," through a waterfall of tears. "I don't want to go. To leave you. To know the sadness you'll feel once I'm gone. That's the hardest part. Leaving you. Never seeing you again, feeling your touch, hearing your voice and knowing you will never see or feel me again. That's the real sadness of death, knowing the pain we leave behind. "I wish we could go back, to Equestria, you at least. To that day we found those gems so we could have all those centuries together; young and strong and in love. I wish, but even that would not be enough. It never is." "No, it wouldn't be. Eternity wouldn't be long enough." Sunset was at her breaking point now. Adagio looked at Sunset for a moment. "Call the nurse," she said. Sunset was in a panic. What did she mean? Was this it? Right here, right now? She wanted to question but didn't want to waist time so she called for the nurse. The nurse on duty hurried in and Adagio looked at her and said, "Unhook me." The nurse looked at Adagio then to Sunset. She wasn't sure what was going on. "Uh, Ma'am?" "I said unhook me!" Adagio yelled as best she could. "I want to make love to my wife one last time." The nurse and Sunset looked at each other in shock. Had Adagio really said what she did? The nurse started to speak again. "Ma'am, you're in no shape . . ." "Damnit woman! I'm dying. Hell I pretty much dead already. No matter what I do, this is it. So if I am going to spend my last night on Earth here, I want it to be in my wife's embrace." Adagio then went from angry to pleading. "Please?" The nurse turned to Sunset who looked at Adagio for a while and smiled. She turned to the nurse and nodded her head yes. Slowly the nurse unhooked all of Adagio's monitoring and medical devices and then left. Sunset bent over and kissed Adagio as passionately as ever. "So what do we do now?" she asked. Adagio smiled and replied, "What we did the first time we made love - wing it." *************************************************************************** Adagio and Sunset sat in their dorm room. Their freshmen year of college was just about over. It took some persuading for the administration to allow them to room together, but a nice financial gift from Sunset helped seal the deal. It was a little emotional letting her apartment go, but she wouldn't be able to afford it much longer and since deciding to remain in the human realm, she wanted to live a new, fully human existence. Adagio had taken some persuading. Even though she decided to stay behind with Sunset, she still was resistant to "fitting in". But, like most arguments with Sunset, she eventually caved and the two enrolled in college. They even enrolled in the same one as Pinkie and Sonata so they'd have more of a support network. The four of them quickly became known as the Fantastic Lesbian Four. Pinkie and Sonata embraced the title but Sunset and Adagio resisted. It felt reductionist and even dismissive. But more than that, the idea that they were "Lesbians" never sat well with them. This was their first female relationship. It felt strange and bazar. They both wanted it but both didn't know what to do with it. They held hands and kissed, and never denied they were in a relationship, but it was still weird to think of themselves as the "L" word. But the semester was now at a close. Farewell parties were going on all over campus but Sunset and Adagio didn't want to go to any of them. Both had decided to stay at the dorms over the summer and take a few classes as well. After the next they planned on moving into one of the off campus apartments. But for now, they were staying put. Sunset and Adagio sat on their couch, flipping through TV channels but not finding anything either one wanted to watch. This was also their first night together with no homework to do or extracurricular activities. In a way it was kind of frightening. Neither really knew what to say or how to act. So they sat and watched as channel after channel went by. Finally Adagio spoke out of shear boredom. "Sonata asked me to join their Lesbian Support group again. I told her no." Her sentence had no emotion. It was basically sighed out. "Pinkie asked me too a couple days ago," Sunset responded absently; still clicking through channels. "So, what do you want to do?" "I don't have anything to do." "That's not what I asked." Adagio was getting a bit irritated at Sunset. She wanted to do something, anything, but just didn't know what and wanted Sunset to pick something just to show she was putting thought in their together time. Sunset sighed, growing frustrated with Adagio. "I don't know. There's nothing to do except go to one of the parties, and frankly, we're both too old for that." Adagio then looked down at her hands and then back to Sunset. Her face showed a hint of fear and hesitation. "Well, we could, you know, make out." Sunset's head spun around in a flash and looked at Adagio with pure shock. "Wha-wha-what!" was all she could say. "Well, we've been together for roughly two years. We say we love each other. We hold hands and all the couplie stuff, but we've never, well you know; and I thought, maybe tonight . . ." Adagio trailed off to give Sunset a chance to respond. Honestly, she didn't know which way she wanted her to. Sunset just stared at her for a couple seconds not knowing what to say. "Um, I, uh," she and Adagio had been together for two years and kissed but never anymore than that. They even slept in separate beds. "I, I, I, . . . ok." She couldn't believe she just said it. But she knew eventually if they stayed together this would most more than likely happen so might as well be now. The two looked at each other like to children who just dared each other to do something neither wanted to do. Slowly they leaned in and started to kiss. A quick peck and pull away. Peck, pull away, peck, pull away. It wasn't so much kissing as pretending to be chickens. Finally they stopped and just looked at each other. "Well?" asked Adagio. "Nothing." replied Sunset. "Me either," Adagio said. Both women leaned back against the couch with a sigh. "What's wrong with us?" "Well, I hate to say this but I think we're two straight women who got caught up in the emotions of the moment and thought it was something more than just a really good friendship." Sunset then turned to Adagio to see what her reaction was. Adagio sighed. "I think you're right. I do care about you Sunset. I really do. I guess since I never cared for anyone else before, I read too much into it." Sunset smiled and took Adagio's hand. "Thank you Adagio. And, listen we can and are still friends" "Thank you Sunset. I never considered any other possibility." The two just looked at each other smiling. It was so great to get this weight off of them. They were friends. Not lesbians. Tomorrow, look out boys; S and A are on the hunt. Life was back to a somewhat normal. But as they continued to look at each other, each started to think about all they went through together. The magic battles between themselves and others. The talks they had. How each seemed to know what the other was thinking. Then Adagio noticed how Sunset's eyes seemed to twinkle in the light. Her cute, little nose and smile. She reached out and touched Sunset's cheek just to feel her smooth skin. At the time Sunset was also looking at Adagio and thinking of how strong she had been, how far she had fallen, and how she had gotten back up again. She was so strong and powerful. Sunset respected her deeply. Underneath her hardness, the was a soft, almost innocens to Adagio. A pain that only the most perceptive could see. She watched as Adagio stuck out her hand and started caressing her cheek. Sunset was touched by this show of affection. She took Adagios hand and kissed it. It felt so nice to have her here, by her side and in her life. Adagio's heart skipped a beat when Sunset kissed her hand. Now Sunset was looking at her with those big, beautiful eyes and a sould warming smile. Adagio thought of the times they had kissed, how soft those lips were. Adagio pulled her hand free and started slowly tracing around Sunset's lips with her index finger. Sunset was a bit surprised by Adagio's action, but the slow, methodical tracing of her lips sent little tingles down her spine. It was a very good feeling. Out of curiosity, Sunset started to do the same to Adagio. The feeling of Sunset's lips on her finger and Sunset touching her lips was very pleasurable. Adagio started to feel a small electric current pass through her body. She closed her eyes and her lips parted slightly. Sunset suddenly felt the urge to put her finger in Adagio's mouth. She slowly slid it in and to her surprise, Adagio started to suck gently on it. Sunset found herself breathing heavier. She didn't know what she wanted just that she wanted this to continue. Adagio stopped, opened her eyes and looked at Sunset. He face was flushed with a wanting expression upon her face. Adagio now knew she wanted to kiss her. Both women got up on their knees, took each others heads in their hands, and started kissing passionately. Without conscious thought, their hips started to sway and thrust together. Each kiss brought a new level of passion and desire that neither had known before. Adagio's hands went to Sunset's upper arms and started rubbing them. Sunset in turn took her hands down the sides of Adagio's neck, to her upper chest, then to the sides of her breast which she started to massage. Adagio then went to kissing Sunset's cheek up to her ear and started licking it. Sunset's hands went behind Adagio, to the small of her back, then down to her butt checks. Adagio then kissed back down Sunset's cheek, her neck, to just at the edge of her neckline and stopped. The two once again just looked at each other. Sunset wasn't sure what Adagio was going to do next. Adagio smiled, got up off the couch and undressed. It wasn't sexy, or drawn out, it was just her getting undressed. As the last bit of her clothes hit the floor; she stood there, arms open. sunset knew exactly what she was saying, This is me, all of me, who I am underneath it all; and I give myself to you . Sunset got up and removed her clothes as well. She walked over to Adagio and started running her hands over her. Her face, her shoulders, her arms, then she stopped and started running her finger around Adagio's left nipple. Adagio placed her hand behind Sunset's head and brought her face down to her left breast and Sunset began to suckle. Adagio held Sunset close. Her left hand, rubbing her back, the right, rubbing her ass. Sunset started playing with Adagio's right breast as she suckled the left. Then she stepped slightly to her right and ran her finger tips down Adagio's stomach down to her slit. Adagio's legs we already parted, giving her easy access. She slowly started to caress the outside of Adagio's pussy. She looked up at Adagio and Adagio looked down at her, Their eyes locked and they knew that they were meant for each other. That no matter what happened, they would always be together. Adagio stepped back and took Sunset's hand. She lead her to their bedroom and asked which bed she would prefer. Sunset didn't say a word but simply pushed both beds together. Then she laid down on them and beckoned for Adagio to take her. Adagio climbed onto the bed, on top of Sunset who wrapped her legs around her, and started to kiss her. The two ground their hips together in almost a frenzy. Their arms ran over every inch they could touch. Then Adagio started to kiss her way down to Sunset's breasts. She took each one in turn and suckled them. Then continued to kiss downward to Sunset's pussy. She just looked at it for a second debating if she really wanted to go through with this. But then she decided that yes, without doubt or question she did. Starting at the bottom she slowly licked up Sunset's slit and the kissed it, She the parted her vaginal lips to expose her clit and began to lick it. Alternating between several quick licks and a couple long, slow ones. Sunset moaned in delight. Her body squirmed and convulsed. She grabber her right nipple and squeezed it hard. The more Sunset reacted, the more excited Adagio got. She licked and sucked on Sunset's clit. The taste and smell of her arousal along with her sounds and contortions made her insane with passion. All she wanted was to have Sunset cum. Faster and harder she worked Sunset's clit. Sunset grabbed her head and Adagio was sure Sunset was trying to force her head inside her pussy. Soon Sunset's hips began to vibrate at a level Adagio thought was humanly impossible. Sunset pulled at Adagio's hair and Adagio thought she was going to rip it out. Then her whole body went stiff, she stopped breathing and then BOOM! - she let out an ear shattering scream. Sunset's body then went limp. Adagio kept licking, not wanting to stop but she knew she must. She kissed her way back up to Sunset's mouth. Sunset kept grabbing Adagio's ass, as if trying to pull her up closer. "What is it?" Adagio whispered. "I want your pussy on my face," she whispered back. Adagio quickly obliged. She got on her knees and scotched her way (with help from Sunset), until her pussy was right over Sunset's mouth; and she wasted no time in doing to her what she had done to Sunset. Adagio grabbed Sunset's hair and started riding her face. Faster and fast, just wanting to cum, to cum by Sunset's mouth. Fast and faster and faster until it felt like she was touching a live electrical wire. Her body shook and soon she couldn't hold back anymore. She came so hard, she squirted all over Sunset's face and in her mouth. Sunset choked a little but went right back at it until she knew Adagio was 100% spent. Adagio fell of Sunset and onto the bed. Sunset rolled over and put her arm around Adagio's waist. "I think we should join Pinkie and Sonata's group now," she said with a laugh in her voice. "Yeah, most definitely," Adagio said in between pants. Then they both looked at each other and started laughing. Once they were done, Sunset's face grew really loving and tender. She smiled and said, "I love you." "I love you too. For now and forever." ********************************************************************************** Sunset touched the tombstone. First Adagio's fake birthdate then the hyphen, then her very real death date. She went back to the hyphen. There, that hyphen, that was it; that was all of Adagio's life. Everything she was, said, did, meant, all of her now reduced to a hyphen carved in stone. But how could anything fully encapsulate everything a life is? Wasn't even the largest biography in the world still just as much as a reduction? How could anything fully capture all that a life is or was, had experienced? Even Sunset's own memories of Adagio were a reduction since they only included the moments Sunset was present for. Two dates and a hyphen; a life reduced. But that wasn't it. Outside of the hyphen was Lauryn. Half of her was Adagio. Jacob and Melody, were also part Adagio. All the people she met and touched, she lived in them and with them. All that was beyond the hyphen. All that meant Adagio lived on in some form (just not the form Sunset wanted). "Mom, it's time to go," Lauryn said through her own tears. Sunset leaned in close to the head stone, whispered on last "I love you," got up and walked off. Author's Note Ok, so I'm a little early but I couldn't help myself. I honestly feel this is my best work yet and hope you enjoy it. I'll be releasing a T version later.
