I made new friends, had a big adventure, and even have my own pet. This adventure however was unlike anything that I had. This time, it was outside of Ponyville and also outside of Everfree Forest. It all started when I decided to have a walk around, this time with my pet and who now happens to be my friend. We decided to have a look around Twilight's castle. I volunteered to help Twilight with her books on shelving. When I arrived, Twilight was happy to see me and my pet Wind. She gave me some instructions on shelving in what order do I need to shelve and also on which section do I need to shelve on. I started after she gave me the instructions. Wind helped me eventually, even when it was not book shelving. While I was helping her with shelving the books, I lost the grip and dropped one of the books by accident. When I picked up the book, I was a little curious to what that book is. "Hey Twilight" I said. "Yes Hoobe?" Twilight asked. "What book is this?" I asked Twilight. She told me that it was a book about a Pegasus named Daring Do who travels on a journey. Rainbow Dash came along and also told me about Daring Do. They told me all about Daring Do's adventures from all of the series they have read and has been published. After they were done, I continued to help Twilight shelving books. By the time I was about to pick up and shelve back the last book of Daring Do and done with shelving, the dust was flying around me. I made a very big sneeze that I got dizzy and had to close my eyes. When I opened my eyes, I was not at Twilight's Castle. I was confused and did not know where I am, except that I was at the group of trees. I realized that I have teleported to the place that I have never been before. It was not like Everfree forest, despite the fact that it had a lot of trees. I thought that, because I just teleported to this place, why not try to teleport back to Ponyville? I tried to teleport, but for some reasons, it did not work. Realizing that I will get lost soon, I searched around to see if I could get help. While I was searching around, I heard voices. It was a group of unfamiliar voices. Because they were unfamiliar and I thought they would eventually find me, I hid on the tree and also used the invisibility magic, that Twilight taught me about, so that no one can see me. I later noticed that it was a group of strange creatures, that I have never seen before. They were scary looking creatures, but they did not looked like anything from what Twilight and Rainbow told me. However one of those creatures said something like, Daring Do. I could not hear them clearly at first but later I heard them exactly that they were talking about Daring Do. However, I was confused because none of them are the creatures that I have never seen or heard before, even from Twilight and Rainbow and even from Daring Do's adventure books. So the question that I am asking is, what are all those creatures and what are they up to with or against Daring Do? Soon enough, they left and I was glad that they did not spotted me. After they left, I was glad that I can stop using the invisibility magic, though I still wondered how come the teleport magic did not work on me. I continued to look around to see if I could get any help back to Ponyville or just a shelter for me to stay for the night. I did not even realized that it was dark already. As I kept on searching, I saw a house that was in a wreck. I knocked on the door, but there was no answer. However, strangely enough, the door opened. "Hello!" I said "Anybody home?" There was no answer. I can see that there was a big mess around. I thought maybe I can clean up the mess and fix things that are needed, while leaving most of the stuffs, like books or papers or just about anything else similar to those. So I started cleaning up and also fix things that are broken or looked like they are broken. By the time I was done with cleaning and fixing, I heard someone coming. I tried to find the place to hide but I could not find any. When it was too late to hide, I noticed a Pegasus coming inside. "What are you doing here!?" the Pegasus asked me. "Please forgive me" I said. "The house looked abandoned that I had no idea who lives here." "I live here" the Pegasus said "I see that you have cleaned and fixed up my house pretty well." "Who are you?" I asked. She introduced herself to me and said "Who are you and what are you doing here, besides cleaning around?" I introduced myself and said "I got lost and do not know my way around here. Will you be willing to give me a hand around this place? I will pay you back on whatever I can do!" She looked suspiciously at me at first. Then she said "I will, but you must not get in my way. I work alone. Understand?" "I understand" I said. I later noticed that she is A. K. Yearling. She then told me her whole story about the adventure she just had. I was amazed to hear the story she told me. She told me all about the books she wrote and also about the adventures of Daring Do, the story that she writes about, whether you would have already guessed or not. An unexpected start: Part 2The morning approached. I still have no idea how I teleported to this place in the middle of the trees, also how come I could not teleport again, despite the fact that I can use some of the other magics. When I woke up, I saw that A. K. Yearling was busy with organizing things and also checking things. I knew that she needed to be extra cautious because there can be danger coming. While I was seeing that A. K. was busy with organizing and checking, I heard someone coming. I searched around but saw no one, except Ms. Yearling. I thought my mind was playing tricks again. It was not. I later realized that someone was invading her house. "I believe we've got company" I said. "Stand back!" said A. K. Yearling. "You would not want to get hurt." "But there are four of them" I said. "That's being outnumbered, I don't mind if you are going to handle this but I don't think it would be good enough." "They may not be familiar" she said. "But I can defeat them on my own. Now stand back, or you will get hurt!" I did what she told me. However, I was shocked to see that A. K. Yearling is Daring Do herself. I thought to myself if my friends told me about her identity or not. I can see that she is battling against those creatures. At first, just like from her books, I can see that she is able to take care of herself battling against them. Suddenly, one of them made a swift movement that it made Daring Do, tripped and get hurt. The group escaped. I did not realized what just happened. I quickly ran over to Daring Do and asked. "Are you OK? What's the matter?" "They got it!" she said. "Got what?" I asked. She explained to me the item that the creatures just stole. "Have you ever met any of those creatures before?" I asked. "No, I haven't" she said. I don't know what to do, except to help her that's for sure. Then I realized something. "I suggest that we should follow up those creatures" I said. "You said that you did not heard about them before and neither did I. However, I have seen them yesterday and I know what they are up to. I did not get the full details but I soon figured it out. They did mention your name but I had no idea what item were they taking about. When you explained to me the item it makes a perfect sense, whether you believe it or not. Though I still have no idea what those creatures are, we'd better get going. Who knows what will happens next." "You are right" said Daring Do. "Let's go!" She was confused with how I was able to get all of those information and also how I figured it all out. I asked her how come she had never heard anything about them. Before she explained to me, she told me that she does not just trust anyone, even to those who are Pegasi or Earth Ponies or Unicorns like me. "I know that you do not trust anyone, especially for those you have never met before like me" I said "but I am willing to help till the end. I can't just go anywhere, especially when I am lost and need help. If you leave me here, I will get lost forever." "As I said before, I don't trust anyone" she said. "But if you really need my help, you must follow my way. Do you get it?" "I got it, Daring" I said. "But I think it is the time that I explain about those creatures that you have never met before, if you don't mind. I did what you told me but I think if I could just explain, maybe it should be better, whether you do need help or not Daring." "Since it is better than just not knowing, why don't you go ahead and told me the creatures what they said about me and what are they up to?" "Sure then I will explain on the way" I said as we walked together. "The creatures that I saw yesterday and that you just fought are not really well known, but as far as I can remember, they are more to like pirates, or thieves in this case. One of them was a Pegasus just like you, another was a Unicorn. Third one in the group was a very strange creature that I cannot tell. The last one in the group, who is a Pegasus just like the first one, was the leader I believe, because that Pegasus was giving orders and saying what they need to do. As far as I have heard, they are trying to recover something and said something about you. At first I had no idea what they were talking about, when they mentioned your name. However, they did said something about the item you had. They also said that if they can just retrieve the item, they will be unstoppable and even to you Daring Do. That is as far as I have heard. It may make sense for me now, but there can be more." "Well we should not be backing up" she said. "We will go together, but we must follow my way. Are you with me for that?" "Sure" I said "I will be following you so that we can stop that group." We went on together to stop the group I was telling about. I knew that going on a trip with Daring Do is going to be very dangerous, because just like Twilight and Rainbow said, she faced many dangers from her journey. But I do need help and if I was ever going to find my was and do not get lost, I need to follow her. The Daring BoxWe followed the group that attacked Daring Do. She was injured so we had to take a stop for a moment. The injury was not bad gladly. "What is your plan?" I asked Daring Do "Surely, they would have noticed that we are close to them" "Yes" she said. She explained to me what we need to do. I was not so sure about her plan because, though she went on several adventures of her own, she never saw that group before. Soon enough the group left separating the ways. "Which was should we go?" I asked "Well" she said "The best thing to do is to start with an easy step. We should follow the steps of the first Pegasus." "You mean the one who is not the leader?" I asked. "That's the one." she said. We followed that Pegasus. It lead us to where it looked like a swamp. At a place like swamps, I knew that dangers can happen and one of those dangers is crocodiles. When we arrived, we noticed that the Pegasus flew away in the other side of the direction. We couldn't tell exactly where that Pegasus flew. We have no idea what the name of that Pegasus was. Before we could take a step, we noticed that the group of crocodiles were coming towards us. Daring took the action as usual. I on the other hand had an idea how to get past those crocodiles. "Wait just a moment" I said "There is a better way to get past those crocodiles" "What is that?" she asked me "Didn't I tell you that I don't need help?" "Well it is not about helping" I said "and yes you did said that you don't need help. It is just the fact that we should try something else and I just got a plan what to do. It should not take long. If my plan failed, you can just go ahead with your plan right away" Because I can talk to animals, I communicated with the crocodiles. "What are you trying to do there?" I asked to the crocodiles. They told me that they were just swimming around. They did not say anything about eating. Usually crocodiles at this time would plan to eat something, whether a bird or just anything else, but I was surprised to see that the crocodiles were not planning on anything like that. "Do you mind if I pass down your swamp please?" I asked "I promise not to hurt anyone. We are kind of in a hurry and we are not here for anything." The crocodiles said yes but also gave a warning to us. It was not so bad as they allowed us to pass. Generally, crocodiles do not let anyone pass by, even to their own relatives. They tend to eat almost anything as they are the beasts or in my word brawlers of the swamp. However even to Daring's surprise along with me, these crocodiles did let us pass. Daring and I continued to explore across the swamp. It was hard to find the destination where we were trying to find because it was kind of foggy and hard to see around where to go. While we were exploring on the way, I felt that I hit something. At first I though it was another crocodile. However I later noticed that it was not a big deal and was only hit by a log. We reached the end of the swamp. When we reached the end, I saw something strange outside of the swamp and the one that was not too far from us. It was no other than the note. It said "With those crocodiles blocking, Daring Do will never find this key right here" The key was located right in the box in front of us. We tried to open it on our own but it did not budge open. We later noticed that we needed something to open. The scroll which was written besides the box said "In order to open the box, you need to insert two different keys. Only the true keys will open the box or you will get burned" I couldn't really understand what the scroll was saying. Daring also had some hard time trying to figure it out. We stand each other for a moment. While we were wondering, I saw two hoof prints that are next to the box in each of the different sections. This made me curious. What if the hoofs and the only hoofs are the ones to open the box? I was not so sure so I asked Daring Do about it. She said they it was worth a try. So we decided to try it. When we did, the box opened. Daring and I later figured it out that it was the hoofs that opened the box. I questioned myself how come it was hidden all the time? I guessed that it was hidden by that Pegasus because that Pegasus did not want us to know that it is easy to solve the problem. When we were about to leave, we heard the strange sound. It was no other than the booby trap. Thankfully, it was not hard to dodge, as we got away from the booby trap. The item that we obtained was not the item that Daring had. The item that we obtained was a statue. Nether of us had an idea what kind of the statue is. I was pretty sure that we will find out what the statue is and also be able to recover the item that she needed to find as we head on to the next stop. We never saw that Pegasus again, at least not yet because our trip was not over and there were still more things to come. The uncovered tomb: Part 1After receiving the statue, we went out of the swamp a little faster than we'd expected, thanks to the crocodiles. Not only did they let us pass the swamp but also they help us go back the was we came from for us to head to the next stop. The reason why they helped us get out of the swamp and also let us pass is because I helped one of them with its tail, before we started crossing the swamp. It was badly injured. I helped the way Fluttershy helped the crocodiles. I am not really master at helping the animals, as in curing or healing the animals in the way Fluttershy does. This is just the fact that I saw how Fluttrshy deals with it and that I know how to help that crocodile. After Daring and I said goodbye to the crocodiles, we continued walking to the path we need to take. "I believe that the group said something about the tomb" I said. "That tomb should not be too far from here." Daring and I went to the location of the tomb. Since it was not too hard to reach that location, we eventually arrived. When we arrived, it looked just like maybe the antique castle, except that it is not very complex like Twilight's castle. It was rather simple and was a resemblance of a temple but looked more to the pyramid, except that it was not exactly a pyramid shape. "So you are saying that the tomb you are explaining to me is in there?" I asked. "Yes" she said. "Who's inside that tomb?" I said "it must have been more than years for that tomb to be put there." "It is not" she said. I was surprised so she explained to me why and what is in that tomb. So she explained to me what is in that tomb. "You may think that the important king or the queen is buried in this tomb but it is not." she explained. "While it is true that the king did live here with many ponies and even creatures, this tomb contains the important treasure for the King." "Then how come they did not put it in the usual treasure box?" I asked. "I don't know" she said "the king had a reason for that and only he and his creatures know the answer. Many explorers and I tried to find the answer but no pony was able to find it to this day." I still got confused as no one else knew the answer to that question. "Do you think there is some trying to go after that treasure?" I asked. "Yes" she said. "Believe me. I had many creatures trying to get my treasures. One of them is Ahuizotl." I had no idea who or what is Ahuizotl so she explained to me. "Have you ever met Ahuizotl recently?" I asked "not before as in before we even met." "No, I haven't" she said "but beware because he can strike at any moment." We began to open that tomb. However for some reasons it would not budge. We tried again, but it still did not work. I couldn't understand why. However I found something on the floor when I laid down. When I got a look at it, It seemed like it was the important key to open the tomb. I asked Daring of she saw this image before. She said that she had no idea about it. "Where can we even locate these keys?" I asked. Daring looked at the map in every direction and said "The location is a little awkward because it is going to be the long trip and the map also tells about the traps that are located while searching for these keys." "Well we better get going." I said "Who knows what danger is going to lie up ahead." "Before we even head on, there are couple of things you should know. Yes there are going to be traps but I feel that the creatures we just saw are close by. They were after me and took away the item that I had. The keys may have something in common with the item that I used to had. It we will figure it out soon enough." While we went on a path to find those keys, I asked Daring Do a question that I could not stop wondering. "I still do not understand why they would be out for your item." I said. "I mean is it something really or too valuable for one pony?" "Legends said that the item that I used to have, but now stolen, contains the road to the sacred treasure or even grants a pony almost any kind of power the pony wants." she said "However, no one knows what the item really contains. I found it while I was venturing out on one of my adventures. Strangely enough, it was not hidden in temples or in the rivers or under the waterfalls. It was just on the ground while I was just having a walk. When I picked it up, I had no idea why and how come it was left there. I do not know anything about it, but while I was doing a research on this item, something caught my eyes. It was antique but nothing really expensive as in high value. The other thing that I do not know is how that item and the statue even have a relationship with each other." "I am pretty sure we will find out" I said. "As you may know or not, not every answers and answered right away. There are mysteries that are still to be found and remained unsolved." "You are correct" said Daring Do, as we continued on our journey.

While we were exploring on the way, I felt that I hit something. At first I though it was another crocodile. However I later noticed that it was not a big deal and was only hit by a log. We reached the end of the swamp. When we reached the end, I saw something strange outside of the swamp and the one that was not too far from us. It was no other than the note. It said "With those crocodiles blocking, Daring Do will never find this key right here" The key was located right in the box in front of us. We tried to open it on our own but it did not budge open. We later noticed that we needed something to open. The scroll which was written besides the box said "In order to open the box, you need to insert two different keys. Only the true keys will open the box or you will get burned" I couldn't really understand what the scroll was saying. Daring also had some hard time trying to figure it out. We stand each other for a moment. While we were wondering, I saw two hoof prints that are next to the box in each of the different sections. This made me curious. What if the hoofs and the only hoofs are the ones to open the box? I was not so sure so I asked Daring Do about it. She said they it was worth a try. So we decided to try it. When we did, the box opened. Daring and I later figured it out that it was the hoofs that opened the box. I questioned myself how come it was hidden all the time? I guessed that it was hidden by that Pegasus because that Pegasus did not want us to know that it is easy to solve the problem. When we were about to leave, we heard the strange sound. It was no other than the booby trap. Thankfully, it was not hard to dodge, as we got away from the booby trap. The item that we obtained was not the item that Daring had. The item that we obtained was a statue. Nether of us had an idea what kind of the statue is. I was pretty sure that we will find out what the statue is and also be able to recover the item that she needed to find as we head on to the next stop. We never saw that Pegasus again, at least not yet because our trip was not over and there were still more things to come.
The uncovered tomb: Part 1After receiving the statue, we went out of the swamp a little faster than we'd expected, thanks to the crocodiles. Not only did they let us pass the swamp but also they help us go back the was we came from for us to head to the next stop. The reason why they helped us get out of the swamp and also let us pass is because I helped one of them with its tail, before we started crossing the swamp. It was badly injured. I helped the way Fluttershy helped the crocodiles. I am not really master at helping the animals, as in curing or healing the animals in the way Fluttershy does. This is just the fact that I saw how Fluttrshy deals with it and that I know how to help that crocodile. After Daring and I said goodbye to the crocodiles, we continued walking to the path we need to take. "I believe that the group said something about the tomb" I said. "That tomb should not be too far from here." Daring and I went to the location of the tomb. Since it was not too hard to reach that location, we eventually arrived. When we arrived, it looked just like maybe the antique castle, except that it is not very complex like Twilight's castle. It was rather simple and was a resemblance of a temple but looked more to the pyramid, except that it was not exactly a pyramid shape. "So you are saying that the tomb you are explaining to me is in there?" I asked. "Yes" she said. "Who's inside that tomb?" I said "it must have been more than years for that tomb to be put there." "It is not" she said. I was surprised so she explained to me why and what is in that tomb. So she explained to me what is in that tomb. "You may think that the important king or the queen is buried in this tomb but it is not." she explained. "While it is true that the king did live here with many ponies and even creatures, this tomb contains the important treasure for the King." "Then how come they did not put it in the usual treasure box?" I asked. "I don't know" she said "the king had a reason for that and only he and his creatures know the answer. Many explorers and I tried to find the answer but no pony was able to find it to this day." I still got confused as no one else knew the answer to that question. "Do you think there is some trying to go after that treasure?" I asked. "Yes" she said. "Believe me. I had many creatures trying to get my treasures. One of them is Ahuizotl." I had no idea who or what is Ahuizotl so she explained to me. "Have you ever met Ahuizotl recently?" I asked "not before as in before we even met." "No, I haven't" she said "but beware because he can strike at any moment." We began to open that tomb. However for some reasons it would not budge. We tried again, but it still did not work. I couldn't understand why. However I found something on the floor when I laid down. When I got a look at it, It seemed like it was the important key to open the tomb. I asked Daring of she saw this image before. She said that she had no idea about it. "Where can we even locate these keys?" I asked. Daring looked at the map in every direction and said "The location is a little awkward because it is going to be the long trip and the map also tells about the traps that are located while searching for these keys." "Well we better get going." I said "Who knows what danger is going to lie up ahead." "Before we even head on, there are couple of things you should know. Yes there are going to be traps but I feel that the creatures we just saw are close by. They were after me and took away the item that I had. The keys may have something in common with the item that I used to had. It we will figure it out soon enough." While we went on a path to find those keys, I asked Daring Do a question that I could not stop wondering. "I still do not understand why they would be out for your item." I said. "I mean is it something really or too valuable for one pony?" "Legends said that the item that I used to have, but now stolen, contains the road to the sacred treasure or even grants a pony almost any kind of power the pony wants." she said "However, no one knows what the item really contains. I found it while I was venturing out on one of my adventures. Strangely enough, it was not hidden in temples or in the rivers or under the waterfalls. It was just on the ground while I was just having a walk. When I picked it up, I had no idea why and how come it was left there. I do not know anything about it, but while I was doing a research on this item, something caught my eyes. It was antique but nothing really expensive as in high value. The other thing that I do not know is how that item and the statue even have a relationship with each other." "I am pretty sure we will find out" I said. "As you may know or not, not every answers and answered right away. There are mysteries that are still to be found and remained unsolved." "You are correct" said Daring Do, as we continued on our journey.
