Tea Time with Fluttershy

Load Full StoryDiscord tipped his tail, pouring some tea into Fluttershy's cup. It was a bright, sunny afternoon, and the pair was in Fluttershy's cottage, drinking tea and chatting as they did at least once a week. Fluttershy smiled, taking a sip from the tea. Discord kept pouring, 'accidentally' pouring the tea on Fluttershy's head. Fluttershy looked up at Discord, giving him a hard stare. Discord giggled, quickly putting the teapot back on the table.
"Sorry about that, Fluttershy...", he said, trying not to burst out laughing.
Fluttershy sighed. "It's okay, Discord."
Discord snapped his claw, and a warm towel appeared in Fluttershy's hooves. She looked around for her teacup, and found it sitting on the table. She smiled, drying her head off with the towel. When her mane was dry, the towel suddenly started to fly, folding in half and then unfolded, like the flapping of wings. Fluttershy let out a squeak, startled by the sudden movement.
A while later, the pair had started up a deep conversation. Discord was loudly crunching on some cookies as Fluttershy was talking. She cleared her throat, making Discord chew quieter, and finished what she was saying.
"...and he finally ate the food I had prepared.", she sighed, "Angel is so stubborn... I wish he could be like the other animals..."
"You could always bring a cat to 'play' with him..", Discord suggested when his mouth was empty.
Fluttershy gasped. "Discord!"
"It was only a suggestion..."
Fluttershy rolled her eyes. "Do you have any other 'suggestions' you'd like to spill out?"
He shook his head, stifling a soft giggle. He tipped his head, studying Fluttershy, before changing the topic. "I'm curious. Does a pony like you have any secrets?"
Fluttershy seemed confused. "What do you mean, 'secrets'?"
"Oh, you know...", he twirled his claw in a small circle, "Things you don't want anypony to find out about, for instance..."
"Do you have any secrets, Discord?", Fluttershy asked.
"Maybe... But if I tell you one of mine, You have to tell me one of yours.."
"Fine."
Discord thought for a moment, starting to blush. "I-I may or may not have somepony I really like...", his voice quavered, and he gulped.
Fluttershy looked up at him, intrigued. "Who is it? Celestia?"
Discord looked shocked. "Why should I tell you? One secret is enough! And to answer your question, no, its not."
"Is it me?" Fluttershy's voice was a whisper.
"No...", Discord cleared his throat, his face growing redder, "And besides, you have to tell me your secret now."
Fluttershy put a hoof to her chin. "Okay, but I'll have to show you."
Discord tipped his head. "Show me? What?"
"Come on, its outside."
Fluttershy walked over to the door, opening it with a hoof. She gestured for Discord to go outside, and he walked over slowly, ducking his head to fit in the door, letting out a yelp when he banged his head against the very top. Fluttershy giggled, walking out behind him. Discord waited for Fluttershy, and she lead him up the trail beside her cottage. He looked around, growing more and more curious. The tress and undergrowth grew thicker, darkening their surroundings. They kept walking, and eventually reached the entrance to a small shed.
Discord looked unimpressed. "This is your big secret? A stupid shed?"
"You haven't seen the inside yet...", Fluttershy pointed out in her soft voice. She unlocked the three locks that were on the door, and lead Discord inside.
She turned on the light, and Discord saw the true beauty of Fluttershy's secret. The walls of the shed were covered in blood, and carefully arranged animal corpses. Guts and organs hung on the walls, like tinsel on a house during Hearth's Warming. Discord even saw a toaster, covered in the skin of a gray mare. Taking in the scene around him, he then spoke.
"This is quite the.. secret you've got here...", his voice shook a bit.
Fluttershy nodded, looking at Discord. "What, too bloody? I thought it looked so heart-warming...", she sighed, looking over at a rabbit heart that was being roasted under a lamp. She shook her head, as if to clear it. She walked deeper in the shed, looking around for something.
"There it is!", she said at once, walking back to Discord with an object behind her back.
"What do you got there, Flutters?", he asked, warily looking at her hoof.
"A gift for you."
"Huh?"
Fluttershy handed Discord the object. It was a small sculpture of him, made of animal corpses, minus his head, which was molded out of clay, and fur. He studied the miniature version of himself, and noticed each individual body part was made of a different animal, like himself.
"Do you like it?"
Discord hesitated, looking at it some more, before giving a nod. "It's wonderful. Looks just like yours truly, if I do say so myself."
Fluttershy smiled. "I'm glad."
"C-Can we get out of here now? I'm dying to go back to some of those delicious cookies!"
She giggled. "Okay."
Discord was quick to get out of the corpse-infested shed, taking in a long breath of fresh air. Fluttershy walked up next to him, and they walked back to her home.
"Now, about this pony you 'like'..."
"Whoa, whoa, whoa, I thought we weren't going to get into that!", Discord flared up immediately, his face starting to blush.
"I showed you two of my secrets. Now what about your second one?"
Discord shot her a defiant look, which was shattered when he looked at her adorable face.
"Oh, fine..."
